I wasn't wrong about Leverkusen to fail in winning against Frankfurt today.
Leverkusen were not even like they were in the field today. This was much more than I expected to see. Frankfurt dominated the game incredibly much and simply demolished them by 5-1. The red card made things even worse for Leverkusen of course but before that they were 3-1 behind already as well. Xabi Alonso has a lot of work to do this season. Because the team don't seem like they will be fixed very quickly. It would still be a success for them if they manage to finish the season in one of the middle positions in the standings.
Leverkusen is getting deeper this season, they doesn't belong to the spots in the bottom, yet they are hovering around the relegation zone after ~30% of the season. 5-1 vs Frankfurt is a very weak performance and the upcoming games won't be easy for them.. I am not sure at this point if they could finish in the middle of the table. They are receiving much goals and they should work on that for real.. |

I have checked it up and he has about 27 red cards, it will be 28 inclusive of the recent one. However he is far behind one Bedoya who has 46 red cards to his name  Ramos when he saw this: Say no more word, challenge accepted 
Strasbourg played today vs Lille and lost 3-0. They will return to the relegation zone if they will continue like that. They were better last season by far.. Otherwise, Lens - Montpellier, Rennes - Lyon are challenging games and obviously PSG - Marseille this Sunday is the best match to follow to see if PSG will be able to win and with how many goals? |

Atletico Madrid are still the same. They had a huge problem on qualifying from their group last season as you know. They hardly managed to make it by the last group games. It looks like the same scenario might happen once again. But this time they might not be able to do the same. The remaining games are against Leverkusen (H) and Porto (A). They lost to Leverkusen by 2-0 before and they were able to beat Porto barely by scoring goals in the last minutes.
They are performing much worse in the Champions League compared to the La Liga. They need to win against Leverkusen next time and wait for Porto to lose points against Club Brugge in Belgium. In this case they can capture a big advantage. Otherwise they will have a more difficult task in the last games again.
ATM doesn't have a chance in Champions League even if they could move beyond the group stage. Better to go for Europa League, so they could stand a chance to win the title. In La Liga they are trying to pick a CL spot, that's the best they can do although they can do better.. |

Will Rudiger still play against Barcelona ? He was injured badly against the Ukrainian side I didn't watch bit saw the video how bad could it be Rudiger will most likely play in the Barcelona game. He will have to wear a mask from what I read. The injury was bad indeed and required treatment but it won't prevent him to play thankfully. The problem with Real Madrid is that Courtois will not be available due to his back pain.. This will put a lot of charge and pressure on his substitute, hopefully he can stand vs Lewandowski and the others! |

Although Manchester United had dominated the match, facing a team that defended total was very difficult to score. Match statistics show Manchester United attempted shots on goal 14 times, only 11 attempts on target.
I think Manchester United are still lucky because Mctominay who came on for Casemiro in the 81st minute was able to give the Red Devils victory. Although this result is a bit disappointing because Manchester United are not able to score many goals, at least this victory can deliver Manchester United to the knockout round.
Getting the 3 points is all what counts here but the failure to score in 90 minutes is worrying.. Their opponent isn't that solid team, yet they won with only one goal in the latest minutes..
Trabzon did good by scoring 4 goals against Monaco which they are performing bad by the way in their home league. They still have a chance to pass without playing play-offs if they win the remaining 2 games. Lazio should be the first in its group with certain gap but ironically all of them have 5 points  |

For matchday 10, I don't think there are many interesting matches. Many favorites will probably win their respective match, so I think the multy bet on matchday 10 is great.
What about Torino - Juventus? I believe it will be an epic game since both teams are quite in the same level and the failure mode is activated there.. Bookies are backing Juve. I would like to see the reaction of the fans if they fail  Lazio - Udinese is another interesting game. Lazio is doing good so far and Udinese is the surprise of the start of the season. Lazio seems slightly favourite. |

Playing very well this year, Istanbul Başakşehir has not yet conceded a goal in Group A. They scored 7 goals. They have a sensational win against Fiorentina. I am sure that they will go to the next round with Fiorentina in group A. I was very surprised that they drew against Rigas. They should have easily defeated the weakest team of the group. They may very much need the 2 points they lost against them.
Basaksehir is already for me in the next stage the only fighting they have to do is fight for the first place. I honestly sometimes expect more goals and much better play for them but they are on a good run both in the league and europe,so i think they will win easily tonight they are the big favorites. I always have problems with the teams that I don't know well especially in this league. Koln isn't a bad team but I see them struggling here, although they faced Partizan that is a respectable opponent. Alkmaar is a known team, leader of its group, yet failed against Apollon ? Praha lost too. Istanbul won and they are 7 points away from the 3rd team in the group A and 3 points away from Fiorentina. Passing to the next stage shouldn't be difficult for them indeed. |

Betis are playing pretty well against Roma. So far, the game looks like Betis could score another goal and probably no one will be surprised if the Conference League champion loses again today. Although Roma definitely need to pick up points to climb above Ludogorets in the standings.
1 point for each team after 1-1 draw between Betis and Roma. They progressed after their defeat last time against Betis at least Roma chances to qualify directly becomes lower and they have to try to pick a play-offs spot.. If Ludogorets win, things will be complicated there. |

Barcelona can't even win against intermilan even played in home. That proves that if real madrid was superious from so many aspects. It seems like that bookmakers were drunk. The bookmakers are not even watching the result from last match against intermilan. they need to be at least watch the result from any match. It's strange to put more on barcelona.
Bookies are supporting Real Madrid a little more than Barcelona. Nevertheless, they should not be underestimated because they failed to win against Inter or probably will fail to pick the second spot in their CL group or might even drop to EL. They made much mistake, Inter defence was good while their wasn't. Dembele was the center of their focus while Lewandowski movement was relatively limited. A tactical change in their strategy might helped them to win in that match. I suppose they will take a look on what happened there and will improve it, so again, I believe that Real Madrid should start the game with the spirit that they are facing a furious team, not the one that failed against Inter. |

It's surprising to see the ranking of the class so far. This was beyond my guess before the season started. Juventus, Inter, Milan are off the beaten track. They were missing from the top 3.
Even Roma, who has a fairly good transfer, is playing unstable. It seems that the transfer market later should be used to improve the team's situation. Otherwise it is even possible that Inter, Milan, and Juventus will not qualify for the UCL next season.
I agree Juventus and Inter performed very badly so far, and they seem to have no opportunity to compete for the title. But AC Milan looks not too bad, they are in 5th place and only have a difference of 3 points from Napoli which is leading the table now. I am sure AC Milan still has a chance to win, so they are still on the winning track. If just Inter perform here like they do in Champions League, they will be in a better place! For Juve, I am pessimistic, nothing seems to be working well there.. Napoli is doing great so far in the other hand whether in CL or Serie A and I expect them to make a surprise if they can continue like that. 0 defeat after 9 rounds is impressive. For Milan, well, they are doing good also and might profit from a defeat of Napoli and Atalanta to jump in front of them. This season is epic good and unpredictable  |

Liverpool, Bayern and Napoli scored big in today's game. I am particularly impressed how many goals scored by Liverpool (7 - 1) vs Rangers. Can we hope that they recovered finely or just once upon a time victory like the 9 goals vs Bournemouth earlier in EPL?
Inter was impressive too in CL although struggling in Serie A, 3-3 vs Barcelona made them more comfortable to pass to the next stage while Barcelona should win vs Bayern and Plzen while waiting for Inter to drop points.
Overall, Napoli, Brugge, Bayern, Real Madrid and City booked a ticket to the next stage before 2 rounds. Liverpool, Inter, Dortmund, PSG and Benfica will most likely follow them by the end of October.

When talking about players who have now joined other teams because Borussia Dortmund does not want to keep him and prefers to get big profits from his sale. They always do that when they have very good players and have huge potential at such a young age. If only they had gathered players and didn't sell the quality players they have created, I firmly believe they have become a team capable of competing not only in the Bundesliga but also in Europe. But in reality they never expected it.
Trust me that they wanted to keep the good players , but the salary for this players was the breaking point. If there big Clubs like Manchester City that have the Money for and they pay an awesome transfer fee for them everybody would do that. This season they have also very good players , but there are already 6 players injured and Haller is coming to that too. The spirit of the club is simply different than the others. Dortmund find talented players then sell them for profit to keep the balance positive, while trying to win Bundesliga and fighting for european leagues. They are not willing to spend like Barcelona to find themselves blocked nor have the infinite money of PSG and City. |

Interesting that in all matches except Barcelona vs Inter goals have already been scored, but here it's 0-0 so far... So far I don't see this game as a favourite, although of course Barcelona play more comfortably...
Another interesting point is that Sporting got a red card again as in the first game... It's already a regularity for them... I thought they would beat Marseille today, but the referee decided otherwise...
Sporting place is in Europa League. They just found themselves in an instable group, that's why they are competing with them, otherwise, we all know they wouldn't advance more than this stage. Red cards will make things harder for them, that was the last thing they would see to happen. In today's games, only ATM 0-0 Brugge was goalless. Barcelona still 0-0 vs Inter but I doubt no goal will be scored. Bayern machine is fully activated and they are leading with 4 goals in 35 minutes vs poor Plzen. |

We have about 4 draw matches out of the 8games played today in champions league games. The big teams that are supposed to win, draw in their matches. Which is quite disappointing and unbelievable. Today's game was indeed surprising and disappointing. It started with the shocking defeat of Juventus, the draw of City then PSG and Real Madrid. Dortmund also got a draw vs Sevilla which is weak this season in La Liga. What I call a predictable ending is somehow Zagreb - Salzburg draw and Leipzig victory. Chelsea won vs Milan 2-0. There is some discussion about the red card but the odds for this game were in favour of Chelsea after all. |

I like seeing these baby steps. While the implementation itself doesn't seem to make any sense (use a third party for something that was designed specifically to not need a 3rd party), it does show that large players are increasingly taking crypto seriously. It is exiting the "magic internet money" phase, and entering the beginning phase of mass adoption.
I don't consider it as a baby steps if Google will take at the end FIAT instead of cryptocurrencies. I don't know if Google will keep a sold in crypto or just convert it in the end to cash and withdraw it. I don't see anything mentioned in the article about the contract made between these two. |

Yeah I was just reading a news about Juventus president confirming that Allegri will stay after this awful defeat. Haifa won their first game since 20 years in Champions League? I read that too but not sure how accurate. Imagine getting the first win vs Juve by a team playing in a low level league. That's a joke for real. Meanwhile, Benfica scored a goal and it is 1-1 against PSG. |

Napoli attracted media these days but starting from tonight, it is Juventus that will take all the lights after their defeat in Champions League. They lost vs a team that didn't win a single game from the previous 3, barely scoring 2 goals and receiving 8.
Don't have an idea about the odds before the game but what's happening right now in Juve is not good at all.
The only thing that I heard is that Juve president said that Allegri won't be sacked after this defeat.

October looks very bleak and there are a lot of big games facing Liverpool, besides having to focus on the Champions League, Liverpool are also faced with difficult reality in the Premier League, after defeating by Arsenal last match, next week they have to face with Manchester City team that has performed quite well this season and success become unbeaten team in Primer League.
Drop to 10th position standing I hope Liverpool can wake up and get 3 points on big match against Manchester City.
This Sunday, Liverpool players and fans will whether get their self confidence back or lose it bad. Odds are in favour of City obviously around 1.8 vs +4 for a defeat or a draw. Considering the actual circumstances, I think a draw will be a good result for Klopp, nevertheless, I am a bit afraid of many goals to be scored by City. This will crash Liverpool remaining confidence. |
