2521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, how much bitcoin do you have, and how did you get it? on: June 26, 2015, 06:00:42 PM
I started with alts... LTC and DOGE mining with my Mac.  My very first BTC transaction was a purchase of 0.1BTC.  I've obtained quite a bit since then through mining, purchases and services.

it is not dumb to have some LTC  Wink  (but forget about all other alts...)

LTC just had a huge jump in price, but doge did too, maybe you shouldnt disregard all the other alts  Wink

what exactly determines if you get the bonus spin? I notice that sometimes I do not get the second ball for the bonus multiplier, while most of the time I do, can you offer an explanation for me?
2523  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, how much bitcoin do you have, and how did you get it? on: June 26, 2015, 05:07:07 PM
Another topic asking people how much bitcoin people has?

I would be careful to answer, there are always scammers looking for newbies that might not know fully how protect their bitcoins.

am i a newbie? i guess so... now i dont have too much bitcoin only about 0.1 and now i started to participate in a signature campaign i hope i will get paid for it

i was looking for answers from newbies and junior members, but of course answers from anyone are welcomed, thats what this forum is for. I just want to see how involved people are getting in bitcoin and to what extent.

Just want to see how people are getting involved with bitcoin and with how much, especially since bitcoin is getting a lot of attention from the media recently. I woudl also like to see how people are getting their bitcoin if they have limited knowledge about where/how to buy it.

i have plenty of my own coin; I started this thread to satisfy my curiosity. no need to start pointing fingers. mostly curious about how people enter the crypto world.
2524  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a small loan 0.02 on: June 26, 2015, 04:58:21 PM
thanks i will hope i can get it

Hasn't it already been 12 hours since u asked for the loan? So shouldn't you already have the funds from virwox order?

ive been scammed for 0.005 BTC by a full member before; it might sound ridiculous to you but its happened before and it will happen again.

why do you want to know?
not really anything specific; i just put this out as a way to see how people new to bitcoin are getting involved. im also curious to see how newbies are getting their first coin besides faucets and signature campaigns; mostly just to satisfy my curiosity and anyone else's if theyre interested.

C) We are never told what the hell 6.182 means? Hey, I'm trying to help here, 6.172 could mean a win for you and a loss for me. And the site cannot prove that is not the case.

now that I actually took a look at the verification tab, this is actually a pretty concerning question; this is probably the first issue that needs to be addressed before a "final release" is finished.
2528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Branching out from dice... Any suggestions? on: June 26, 2015, 01:33:20 PM
There are some skill games such as blackjack and video poker, but almost all online variants are configured so that with perfect play it's still -EV. So while fun, you can't ever expect a profitable play.

it might be possible to turn a consistent profit with blackjack if there are live dealers where counting cards can be possible. of course, this practice will get you kicked out (very) quickly in a real casino, but through a compute monitor, no one can really notice you doing this.
2529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: June 26, 2015, 01:26:26 PM
it's good to spread savings/investments and stocking btc might be one idea to do so.

thats what the op is looking to do; youre practically rewording the question into a statement; invest, sure, but where? no investment is a sure profit though, thats the biggest thing to keep in mind.
2530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: June 26, 2015, 12:59:54 PM
earning everyday posting on this forum, signature campaigns are probably the easiest way to earn bitcoins aside form actual work.

Agree 100%. No risk at all.  Cool

if youre agreeing 100%, why aren't you enrolled in one? seems contradictory.

I dont like the other sigcampaign holders that accepting newbie and besides Im not rushing. I will wait for a Jr. Member Rank then I will enroll to signature campaign. Just love to post here in this forum even without signature campaign.

most newbies choose to enroll in 777coin's campaig, but that's understandable; theres several campaigns that pay decently for junior members.

You can invest it in Forex and make 10% in three days without any problem. But you must know Forex, otherwise you can loose  Wink
Try dice game 90% change of win....

Grin Play with ur own risk lol

assuming OP wants the "best" way, the method with the highest +EV should be what hes looking for; the first method; forex, requires a lot fo knowledge and experience, as well as skill, which If OP had these in the first place, hed already be off trading instead of posting this. secondly, gambling dice on a 90% roll is -EV and holds a high risk of losing everything. neither of these methods comes close to even being decent.

Quote
Repayment in around 12~ i wait for a virwox order

When is repayment? confused  12 hours?? 12 days??

12 hours of course

youre probably better off waiting then, you wont get a loan here without collateral at your rank.
2536  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: June 26, 2015, 11:59:49 AM
what kind of collateral would i have to offer
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0
the second post in this thread gives a pretty good explanation; in your case, you dont have a higher ranked forum account so altcoins would be a ideal.

you forgot the most important part; are you able to provide a signed message proving ownership? preferably dating 2 months back at the least?

has some great luck on the site earlier, I think im up about ~0.16 BTC, props to OP for making this incredibly addicting and simple game. it also seems a small bounty for making the 1000th roll has been announced in chat, looking forward to trying to snipe that  Smiley
2539  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♛ CrimeDice.com ✣ Social Dice Platform ✣ All Countries ♛ SPECIAL HOUR on: June 26, 2015, 08:35:10 AM
Can we bet in the site? What are the limits?
I think its currently on sale right now, and I guess there are some limits as it looks like someone either by luck or by exploiting an issue was winning a lot of amounts.

I saw the OP post a thread for a different gambling game, something with agar.io; its possible he found that project more worth his while and decided to let this one go.
He didn't get the site to grow up and he wants to sell it asap. /end
so he made a dice gambling website with a copied script which has a lot of bugs. kept it up with all those bugs for a couple of weeks and now wants to sell that thing!
it is strange that it is getting 1BTC bids!!

according to OP, theyve gone through the script and recoded most of it, which if that claim is true, the script has some good potential. but that will be left up to the escrow service for the trade to go through and confirm.
2540  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan needed 0.05 payback 0.055 on: June 26, 2015, 08:31:29 AM
Well i m really sorry but i did`nt asked for a signed message from the seller
I bought 2 accounts of FM for 0.12 from him . I dont want to sell my account . I m not a hacker too
i can sign message from may 11-2015.

next time, please be sure to get a signed message of some sort from the seller, and unfortunately for me this is a little risky so I wont be giving a loan, but if someone else feels that the 10% interest outweighs the potential risks, you might get your loan.
