2521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 01, 2020, 06:48:37 PM
In an order passed on Friday Casinos and Restaurants are now allowed to reopen for the third time in Miami Dade, and further they can now serve their patrons up to 50% of their operating capacity.

It’s pertinent to note that this time they have learnt from their past mistakes, and now they’ll be required to run fans in the hvac system when their customers are in the premises, and this is done because covid is know to spread through air conditioners.

Also I’m expecting gamblers to rush in, and gamble out there since they haven’t played since quiet a while now, but what do you’ll think will they be able to restrain caution or will they immediately go and play out there?.

Lastly I hope that cases don’t rise again because the last time they had opened there was a huge surge in cases, and they had to lock down after a while.

Quote

Miami-Dade casinos and restaurants which offer indoor dining can reopen doors tomorrow, August 31.

Early in July, Miami-Dade saw multiple spikes of reported positive COVID-19 cases. As a result, six weeks after their initial reopening, the venues were ordered to shutdown once again. The order by Miami-Dade Mayor Gimenez came into effect on July 3. Besides the shutdown of casinos, the order also introduced a 10 PM curfew. Upon releasing the order back then, it was unknown for how long it would be in effect.

I do believe that its not on the restaurant themselves but also the people who are visiting and taking part in the games and such. One cannot expect everyone to maintain their personal hygiene and thus this is risky , even though the news says they have learned from their mistakes I do believe before this pandemic gets resolved these things can very easily go online.

We already have so many gambling sites and companies working endlessly online to support their customers but then again the physical interaction is something else.

These businesses which are not able to shift online will soon surrender to the falling economy therefore if they are opening they are well aware of the situation and I do hope it goes well for them .
2522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Heads Up Folks I think they know how to Crash or Bring down the Value of a Pump on: September 01, 2020, 10:40:26 AM
Heads Up Folks I think they know how to Crash or Bring down the Value of a Pump

I noticed some of the coins lately

It always rally up

And then in a few weeks or in a matter of days it goes down to way below the rally

I suspect they are using them Powerful Quantum Computers to do the hash calculation

They can do all the hash they want in a matter of micro seconds

They have access to any volume amount of any coin that they want

Then they simulate a slow buy or pump to infiltrate into your coin's price range

They the just dump everything or sell

This is where the value of the coin drops to lower then before the rally

I have seen it happening over and over again

I was just wondering if it is possible for them to do this to any coin ?

Since they already have them quantum computers ... they can hash anything in no time at all

They have any amount of coins they want to use as a weapon against any coin that we own

Is this going on now Huh

See the thing is the Quantum Computers are so expensive and rare that there are very less people which are able to enjoy that , its bulky structure and many limitations does make it disadvantageous to be kept at home by a simple hacker and most of the time government controls their buying and selling .

The thing is now a days we are trying to make them more compact and more accessible but as far as this theory is concerned I do believe that a person with a quantum computer would have plenty of things to do instead of focusing on individual coins.

The fact is after a while people just loose interest in these coins and they end up sitting in the bulk like many others, the initial rally is because of the stakes and the coin offering and therefore I do believe that its nothing this sinister . Cheesy
2523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do "they" tag BTC (from gambling, mixers, dark markets, etc.)? on: August 31, 2020, 10:04:03 PM
...

Recently I have wondered about BTC fungibility as mixed BTC and even BTC that has been "ricochetef" a few times retains "taint", meaning, IMO, that there may be some problems when an owner wished to turn BTC into FIAT$, say, at an exchange.  Some exchanges apparently do not like heavily tainted BTC it seems...

LeGaulois provided an example of a wallet from another thread, showing origins of some of the BTC in a wallet:

I myself have wallets that are "dirtier" than his, I mix most of the coins I get, but those newly received coins can come from anywhere.

My question is:

How do "they" mark or tag coins that come from gambling sites, dark markets, mixers, etc?

I can understand that stolen BTC could be "tagged" fairly easily (at least until mixed?), but who does that?  Who has that authority?

See the thing is Bitcoins is not Private, contrary to popular belief Bitcoins is semi-transparent at the same time any transaction can be tracked and rechecked by a number of people which is actually a good thing since this way transactions can be rechecked . This is good when it comes to tackling the problem of corruption or tracking some problematic users but at the same time this has:

- Increased value of Virgin coins
- Incorrectly blaming people for receiving tainted coins even though they might not have any hand in the illegal stuff

People have been using the mixing and blending services now more than ever. Other than that even wallets are now linked to the banks and banks to the particular ID of a person which is very easy to link.

This is an issue that does need to be resolved but for a normal bitcoiner I do believe until and unless you are not involved with any illegal activities it is of any significance.
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A normal Venezuelan getting helped using Bitcoins, even more in 2020 on: August 31, 2020, 07:40:11 PM
According to the reports the Venezuela in the middle of all the hyperinflation adopted Bitcoins, Its National Currency is now useless due to over-inflation and therefore people are now using bitcoins for their day to day normal savings and even trading.

Everyone is well aware of the fact that Bitcoins came as a revolution in Venezuela but right now the country is making headlines for being the Third most crypto p2p trading nation.

Now what does that mean ?

-Venezuela is exploring options when the government collapsed , banks ran out of businesses and there is a political war going on targeting the citizens themselves.

This does explain why we needed decentralized system in first place.

_*_

I am happy for the people since they do have an option now , many can survive this crisis to an extent if everything is dealt with properly.

This does give an insight into the importance of bitcoins as a whole. Save up your coins people it can save you through the crisis that the whole world is facing right now.

2525  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bailouts become more frequent? on: August 31, 2020, 04:18:43 PM
1989 - savings and loans bailout
2008 - banks bailout
2020 - covid19 bailout aka wall street bailout

bailouts get bigger every time. But will they become more frequent?? Do we need more bailouts to bailout the aftermath of the previous bailouts?

See bailouts only happen when there is very unforeseen circumstances plus the problem cannot be solved in any way. I don't think they will become much frequent since, now we have an idea of what we are into and therefore it can be controlled, the government is asking banks to issue time for the people who have to work towards their company's financial situation. Stimulus bills are now being distributed, I do think we won't see them so frequently.

Plus I do think the government controlled banks can print as much money as they want but they are just pushing the balloon to its boundary, soon enough the value of the currency of that particular country will go down which would cause the whole economy to die from the inside.

Right now we need to focus on the new normal. How these things can be prevented and how these situations can be changed.

2529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your keys, your bitcoin? on: August 31, 2020, 09:38:08 AM
If the California Court Said *Not your keys , not your Bitcoin's* , will the court allow the scams if some third party source decided to suddenly shut down their wallets and decided that it was legal to not give the respective bitcoins to their owners ?

I do believe the court shouldn't have said something so bluntly.

I do believe now a days due to KYC the problem is much easier to solve in case of any dispute , since bank accounts and wallets is now most of the times linked therefore people should not be afraid to do it if... They are holding a huge amount of Bitcoins legally.

____

Plus I do believe that sharing your keys should only be done in cases where its absolutely necessary with a person you trust the most.

As for me my wallet provides an option where my bitcoins can go to my family if accidentally god forbid I died , therefore my mom will get access to my account and be contacted by the agency.

Explore your options, don't just share your private keys .

2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any VR crypto casinos? on: August 30, 2020, 11:41:32 AM
My spouse recently bought Valve Index, and we are exploring the new opportunities it opens. I enjoy the good-quality experience it provides, but it just came to my mind that there should be VR casinos as well. I googled VR casinos and found out that some indeed exist, but I started wondering whether there are any crypto casinos that support VR. I've searched the forum but did not find anything serious. Do you know any reputable casinos with VR support? Have you tried any, and do you think they could get popular?
I found some slots with VR support on Bitcasino through this article, but are there websites focusing on them more specifically?

I do think that you just had a great idea , VR casinos would not only be more popular but people would also find them more enjoyable since now we can only have an online vegas experience , its not worth risking anyone's life over having a one to one experience , now this would be so popular for sure.

If the casinos working on the forum might look up on this idea I do think we might have someone trustable regarding the same. Plus VR equipments are certainly getting cheaper day by day.

Nice idea OP I do think you should collaborate and present your opinion and discuss what can be done with some casinos which you are a big fan of.

2532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: August 30, 2020, 11:02:43 AM
Here in our province, even though we're under on what our Government so called "MGCQ" or Mandatory General Community Quarantine, any form of gambling is still prohibited. But yesterday, many people has been caught betting on cock fighting on an actual fight here in our province.

I don't know their true intent but for me, it's not even worth it to violate the rule and risk your money on cock fighting just to increase your financial needs. I've heard that the caught violators will going to pay PHP36,000 or around $600.

What's your thoughts about this? Is it worth to risk your health just to be able to win money by not abiding the law?

1. Nothing is worth risking your health

2. Why don't people understand that placing bets on animal fights not only is regarded as an animal abuse at the same time you are helping this grow as a whole.

-.-

Make bets
Safe bets...
But not at the risk of someone's life or even yours.

-.-

For sure 1 person there had the virus , now just gotta wait till 14 days to see how many people were affected.

This is sick
If you want to place your bets and gamble for sure there are many ways to do that without causing harm to anyone.

Use some online gambling sites. They have much more interaction and diversity at the same time if you do think you are not getting the shot of adrenaline then you can even try betting on boxing and such where both players have given consent regarding the fight and such . Just don't drag animals into this .
2533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Image Is Getting Stronger by the Minute on: August 29, 2020, 01:37:03 PM
Few things I would like to say here:

1. We do know that US is a powerful country but we are not sure of the face that the dollar will maintain its value.

2. Bitcoin's uptrend does not coincide with the downtrend of dollars or something like that , its not 100% line to line.
( see even right now if you compare day to day basis of the price of Bitcoins and the price of dollars both are comparatively up ☝ )

3. The Media coverage is strongly against general public making an investment in cryptocurrencies

4. Due to failing economy Bitcoins have emerged as a powerful option for the people who were involved in the stock markets and such.

5. The main thing is acceptance and flexibility of the economy , how bitcoins are able to integrate themselves would actually determine the future and that does depend of the government since they would have to provide certain flexibility either way.

"As for the the bitcoins is the only thing helping my family during COVID since government is unable to provide job and work from home is easiest and much better when done in context to Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins, pandemic have made me appreciate this invention"
2534  Economy / Economics / Re: The debt based Economy on: August 29, 2020, 10:54:50 AM
So if we change the system that money will be not Born from the debt?
What will be other way then?
And how it will be controlled how much money is given away to people to use it.

This Question is specially for those who is against this debt based economy?

The question is not if we need a new system , the question is how do we handle this system ?

The fact is Debt based economy can flourish well but only in the case where the governance is meticulous and well educated. Unfortunately the government fails to provide well thought laws and conditions, we can even take the case of US , people are well aware of the fact that dollar is currently a bubble and the value will go down in the future. There are countries whose main investment is USD , now they will fall down with them too.

What we need is : Good Governance, Educated and well balanced so that they are able to take accurate decisions unswayed by personal opinions.

- decentralized economy can be very well integrated
- Government needs to curb the corruption , they can just use the blockchain technology and take care of every transaction that there is

They can either switch it or improve it , improvement is easier and can be done in matter of days .

Question is: Will they do it?
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Legal Matter on: August 27, 2020, 12:34:48 PM
Let me list 5 countries where the Online Gambling is legal and flourishing :

UK
Japan
Germany
Spain France

source

Honestly I expected to Find more of them.

I would like to quote something in regards to US:
Quote
It is never legal to gamble on a website based in the United States. Also, if you are planning to operate an online gambling site, stay outside of the United States. You must also deal only with casino and poker wagers (not sports bets) from people in the US. ... Accepting online gambling advertising is also illegal.

Now the question is : Why should it be legal?
-Better handling of scammers
-Protection for people
-It does bring good revenues for the government
-healthy restrictions regarding age and addictions

Now the people are going to do it anyways they cannot control that part , what they can do is discuss the terms and conditions and create a safe environment.

What do you guys think?
Should the government allow it more openly?

Saito is a blockchain that can pay for itself at scale. The Saito Arcade, a proof-of-concept for the network, it's a gaming site where you can experience what Saito can do. It allows people to play popular boardgames with no need for Metamask, using complex, open-source apps running completely on-chain that can be developed by anyone.

Come play some Wordblocks or have a nice game of Poker and give it a try!

Check out the platform here at https://saito.io/

The interface can be improved.
The need for an email registration can be encompassed since its a new platform and people might not wanna try giving their private information yet.
Many games are lagging.
Please change the bright color of the letter and boxes.
As i can see you did make something like SAITOtokens , it would be good if you briefed about them.

2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and rejected on: August 26, 2020, 08:46:05 PM
Greetings to all respected members
We all know that since the launch of the Bitcoin currency, governments began to issue decisions regarding this currency, which caused a great revolution in the world of economics. The new currency.
In this topic, we will talk about the three previous types, but we will devote the long talk about governments that reject Bitcoin, how they view this currency and why they reject it, through my economic view of the matter and benefiting from some information about countries

First: Governments that have agreed to allow citizens to use Bitcoin:
Economically strong countries were the largest percentage agreeing to use this currency, but under their supervision so that no economic deterioration occurs, as they saw that Bitcoin may be a major economic supporter of their local currency by increasing the injection of strong foreign currencies such as the dollar, the euro and others, but they monitored the buying and selling movements of this currency so as not Lose the strength of its local currency.

Second: Countries that have remained in the waiting state:
They are the countries that did not prohibit the use of Bitcoin, but did not allow it completely, but rather left it to some local financial intermediaries who buy and sell the currency in small quantities without causing a negative impact on the local economy of the country, as the governments of these countries tried all the pros and cons of Bitcoin from these intermediaries
Third: Governments that completely reject Bitcoin: ((which is the most important part))
Most of the governments that refused to allow their citizens to buy and sell bitcoin were from poor countries that have a weak economy, as these governments see that the process of buying bitcoin will lead to the emptying of bank accounts in the country of the local currency that will go to an unknown destination. When citizens buy bitcoin, their money will come out from the country's banks. The mother is to an external party and citizens will own the bitcoin, but what is the problem with this?
The problem here is that with the passage of time, Bitcoin will depreciate the local currency, and thus it is liable to disappear at any moment, and thus there will be great monetary inflation and the disappearance of the local currency almost completely.

A graphic showing how governments rejecting Bitcoin view it

for example:
Syria: This country did not completely reject Bitcoin, but it did not allow its use in shops and in the buying and selling process, but rather considered it a way to improve the local economy

Zimbabwe: In one of the videos shown by the young Youtuber (Nas Dilly), he took to the streets of Zimbabwe and explained how all citizens' transactions have turned to cryptocurrencies after a huge monetary inflation, where he bought vegetables, rode a taxi and paid the price in Bitcoin via mobile phone.

video link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E4V2RBrxeQ

What might happen in Zimbabwe:
1- The internet may be cut off at some point, which will stop the buying and selling process throughout the country
2 - The party responsible for Bitcoin may withdraw all its currencies from Zimbabwe and thus become a country without a currency that can neither import nor export

My personal opinion on this matter:
If many countries convert to cryptocurrencies completely, the world will be divided into two parts, rich countries that have all the resources and money, and poor countries suffering from famine, and I hope this does not happen, but rather Bitcoin will be a source of help for people in wars, famines and diseases and transforming the world into a stable place with equal rights.

Note:
1- I hope all the members excuse me because I had to ask for a little help from the translator, and I hope to put your personal opinions on this and your economic outlook to benefit from it
2- This topic is a personal judgment and a special analysis of what is happening around the world
3- I hope everyone will watch the video to clarify the idea for you

The fact is, most of the countries which are in the so called poor section is highly controlled , controlled by mafias or government, banks or some other dominant system.

Its a poor selection of words when we say that all the bitcoins are in poor countries , whereas the fact is there people are trying are new options since the government has failed .

Take the case of Nigeria , my friends living abroad are sending receiving money in BTC , I have been told time and again about the police oppression and how bitcoins is low-key helping small businesses. We can only imagine the horrors they go through.

Bitcoins have been more receptive by the people as a whole in poor country but even then the developed , so called rich nations are also enjoying the liberty that comes with cryptocurrencies no doubt.

We need to create a independent mobile device

Here is one of the reasons why we need a mobile device that is not depending on app store or google play

https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/13/21366438/apple-fortnite-ios-app-store-violations-epic-payments

There might be fortnite players strongly supporting this decision , see the thing is these large companies are doing nothing but using the small developers and paying even less than a minimum wage to a worker working for them in underdeveloped and developing countries.

All they care about is profit.

Problem with this would be : security

But at the same time we can create a third party open source system which might run on blockchain and at the same time get the thing done. The small developers can work together to make it secure and this way they can even beat the google play and even apple with right direction.

This will indeed start a revolution.

Apple after asking word press showed how greedy and jealous these big companies are, I like the idea but execution will be a little difficult.
2539  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino on: August 26, 2020, 11:44:41 AM
As soon as you see or feel the deception with the names, especially if the site is not in English, but, for example, in Russian and there is no English version or language selection option, then immediately run away.
These are phishing sites targeted at naive users. But it's true that 1 out of 500 players will try to use it, lose some of their money and then swear in this topic.
But I hope all attentive and knowledgeable people here.
Scammers probably don't even know English and they can't hire a translator to look acceptable Grin Grin Grin

Noted and used frequently 😂

For the OP , if its genuine_

I do believe that you should take care of some things here :

1.Make a better opening statement
Post a good thread stating your motives , discounts , free games and spins etc.
You can always look for the introduction here in this thread , you have to be very professional with it .

2. Employee someone to take care of the background , maybe make it light at the same time take care of the headlines , make it bold , highly contrasting.

3. Try and add some reliable people in your casino if you do want to get it going because there are many scams out there , no one wants to make an assumption about any casino but you have to be careful with what you portray it as.

Best of luck
2540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nitrogen casino glitch on: August 25, 2020, 08:16:53 PM
Not sure what happened to my thread but here is the glitch
Well nitrogen responded back with they see nothing wrong so here is the glitch, anyone that wants to use it go for it

The issue is with their blackjack tournaments. Nitrogen doesn’t let you use your balance until a deposit has 1 confirmation. However if you try entering a tournament and the only funds you have are unconfirmed you are still able to enter, without paying the fee. For example, I deposited 0.002 btc to enter a tournament. On that day transactions were backed up and taking hours. After a little bit I tried entering a tournament, thinking my transaction had confirmed and originally received a “insufficient funds” message. But when I looked at the blackjack lobby, it had me entered. So I played but busted out. After this I noticed my balance was still 0.002btc. I then clicked rebuy, got the same “insufficient funds” message but was again entered. This time I run the balance up and was I first place. At this point I knew it was a glitch but figured I’d play around so I could tell them about it. At this point I was able to enter their other tournaments the same way and after all was said and done finished first in two and second in another, with prizes worth 0.0287 coming to me. I calculated that in total buy ins and rebuys I should have paid 0.012btc. At this point I assumed they would see the error and not pay. Also my transaction did confirm, placed a sports wager and lost, so actual balance says 0. Overnight(when they award prizes) I get the full 0.0287 in my account. I tried withdrawing 0.01btc and it worked. I contacted them with the details and they said they don’t see anything wrong. I even pointed out that you can check my transactions for that weekend and all you see are five: deposit, sports wager, three tournament wins. Zero fees paid and still no worries from them. I guess they don’t necessarily lose out since you just win prizes from the prize pool but you are actively entering paid tournaments and never actually paying to play. If someone else wants to try it their next tournaments are Saturday, just let me know if it works. Any questions let me know

Glitches are Real , they happen in every software , every company and online casinos are not separate , I do think you should put on the screen recorder if it happens again ever , for the time being your history of transactions will help you get through .

The thing is , if there is even one person experiencing this glitch there will be many more in the future since most of the times the reason of glitches is a faulty written program.

I do think you should take a SC of all the transactions for future reference.

Plus I do believe the aforementioned company would solve this issue soon since you seem like a long term supporter and user, this is where it makes a difference, how well does a company respond to the people.
