I was trading s&p e minis and someone mentioned in the chatroom bitcoin and how its going to be big so i looked up its price, it was $10.42 at that time, but bought my first bitcoin at $90.

If you check youtube on tsu you see in comments everyone putting their profile link to get more followers to earn more on the content they share. What im saying is tsu gives you an idea how such model gets received by the wider public which is very positive, getgems can be that to whatsapp, although tsu uses dollars which is widely used but if gemz would have an easy way to convert them in app than it would be great.
putting aside other features that GetGems has like GIFs, secret chats, ability to add friends through contacts, etc. does Tsu have encryption or security better than Telegram for messages? Or Blockchain Technology [GEMS] for its money/wallet? does Tsu allow users to use the app itself to make purchases at shops, etc? does Tsu have any plans to get involve in the Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology Scene? Tsu and GetGems on Getting PaidGetGems app allows users to enable advertisements and sponsored messages to get paid. Let me focus on this and just this alone: (1) firstly getting paid just to view ads. how awesome is that? in Tsu, you have to create content by doing whatever you do on FB or Whatsapp to get paid (2) Ads CAN be extremely good if targeted and used properly. Ads are bad if they don't interest the users at all. Ads can mostly be about promotions. i myself would love to keep track of promotions. And to be honest, its a HASSLE to do so when you are keeping track of so many. If GetGems goes global and becomes the Whatsapp 2.0 or the Next-Gen IM, one day i would love to just view ads from specific brands like UNIQLO or Macdonalds or specific categories like food, electronics, etc. Choosing the Ads that we are interested in...it helps a lot. its a win-win-win situation, for users, advertisers and GetGems. Does Tsu have that now? At least its part of GetGems plans. Tsu was founded in 2013, launch around October 2014. and has 500k - 1M users. It has been about 6 months already. I guess it goes to show how 'powerful' this 'attention economy' and 'getting paid to IM/Facebook' is. But Tsu is going to lag behind soon in a year's time if it doesn't do anything to its app, VS competitors like GetGems and Synerheo. i have to admit - Tsu is kinda late to start this "Attention Economy" Scene. Might have been great if it was a few years ago. But now its like...GetGems and Synerheo are about to barge in and take the spotlight. Let's not forget GetGems had a few hiccups along the way with its development. But progress has been good to be 100% accurate. just not perfect as we all wanted. But they have been fixing bugs on the spot and have been pretty damn active on this forum when it comes to that. just to throw in an idea, a suggestion, if i rmb correctly that someone commented about being asked by his/her friend if GetGems has games on it. Hmm...games...Yea...i remember how Windows Live Messenger had games on it. Being able to play with friends. maybe the GEMS Team can just create a very simple game for a start. nothing too graphical or too coded. just super simple ones that we can play with friends while chatting. i was even thinking of having the option to wager/bet GEMS between friends. put a MAX cap on the amount of cos. like 0.00000100 GEMZ maximum? lol... Let's say iOS app is released next week. And in the first week we get 10,000 new users. What would that do to the price? Would it be $1?
$1 would mean it would pass Litecoin in marketcap.
GEMZ doesn't really have many exchanges or volume yet. Would investors start cashing out if we get buyers?
Once news breaks out we get buyers, volume increases, increases attention, more buyers. If we get on more exchanges = more volume.
lol...$1...that's x69 of the current price. and for just 10k users? lol...let me take a rough guess though. i think i would see a rise of x3-5 of the current price for 10k new users. And it creates a new Ground Floor at around x2 of its current price. as in, the lowest that GEMS' price can fall to. From there on, it slowly rises, quickly rises or rises in an up and down manner. I think GetGems will allow advertisers to target users according to their interests, Daniel talked about it somewhere in an interview. It's awesome that you just have to view ads to get paid, it's a value 3.0 project where you will be compensated for your attention. I think not only is this the first in a messaging app but first in all kinds of social networks? I agree GetGems is more innovative than Tsu since it runs on a whole new technology and less of a hassle too, you just have the app and you don't have to do much really. It's also in your favour to have a broad getgems network, the more users you have the more chance of you being targeted by ads. |

Price to the moon would definitely add attention but my neighbour wouldn't be aware of it so it could be the users invite their network to join or different marketing strategies etc. So there are multiple ways. |

The latest update shows the push to just get the app into peoples hands i think. That the tough part cause once people actually start using crypto a light turns on and many are hooked. I remember when i first used FB which was when it was still pretty unknown. It kind of captures you with a simple email which wasnt that common back then as many sites are today. So you kind of fall into it and never manage to crawl out. I hope gems will be the same a kind of gateway drug to bitcoin.  the addiction is gonna be seeing your coins add up as you use it and hopefully the value of the coins also increase. Once some kid sees his app made him 1000 bucks (early users) then you got them for life i recon. Many have asked for a buy gems function which is great but many new to crypto users will be thinking how ti tirn gems to fiat or bitcoin so they can easily buy stuff with their gems.*Typing on a phone Is there a new update? What do you mean by push to get the app in people hands? Maybe an option like shapeshift how it immediately converts cryptos, but it has a limit in how much you can convert, market with lower volume have lower limit, maybe there are other ways. But i think looking for regulatory aspects is more important, implementing such feature is manageable , if gems does it that it will be freaking boss. |

Im afraid most wont care and actually many would prefer centralised as they percieve it to be more safe. Its important to know what the marketing hook is for gems. Personally i think the bitcoin element needs to be played down and the privacy and profit share needs to be pushed. Wiper i noticed has a healthy amount of users after one year and all they did was make privacy a selling point but even great bitcoin wallets have very low download counts. I dont like the idea of deception but gems hopefully is giving crypto to people that never asked for it. Also some love the idea of being against the big guys. Pr needs to push gems as the little guy pushing back I think.....which it is. Certainly agree with this and if you listen to Daniels podcasts he focusses more on the advertisement and reward model which is a good thing, if you are trying to explain it to die hard bitcoin fans then you can't forget the bitcoin aspect, but i agree that the focus should be on getgems biggest innovation which is its attention economy model and reward system. |

Allemaal mooie features die zjin toegevoegd. Maar ik blijf met smart wachten op de iOS release, zeker nu facebook zich ook begint te mengen met een 'geld uitwisselingsfunctie' via de App. Ik weet het, dat is met debit cards, maar toch, voor jan met de pet is dat juist simpeler. Dat de veiligheidsrisico's dan juist hoger liggen begrijpt jan met de pet ook niet.
Die fb feature is niet peer to peer want het gaat alsnog via de bank en het duurt volgens techcrunch aantal dagen voordat het geld die je ontvangt op je debitcard staat, dan heb je er eigenlijk niets aan. Het voordeel voor de verstuurder is wel dat je dan weinig gegevens moet invullen en gelijk kan verzenden. Als ze bitcoin hadden toegevoegd dan was het wel chill geweest wat gewoon superieur is aan fiat, je ziet duidelijk dat fb, mastercard, visa met nieuwe ideeën willen komen maar alsnog bitcoin ze overtreft op veel gebieden en het grappige is dat ze maar weigeren bitcoin te implementeren. Dit maakt apps zoals GetGems bijzonder en als ze bitcoins implementeren dan is het imo alsnog in voordeel van zulke apps omdat ze eerder erkend zullen worden door de bredere publiek. |

Dat betekent dat ik eind deze maand weer meer Bitcoin kan kopen als het zo blijft  Als de koers zich hier goed van herstelt is dat extra goed voor het vertrouwen. Haha stiekem ben ik wel blij kan ik meer kopen, maar het viel me op aan de timing dat vlak na dat 40k bitcoins gestolen waren en het nieuws verspreidde opeens een dump komt, misschien wilde iemand ze voor zijn. |

I was thinking about GetGems having a short advertisement, where 2 parties a girl and a boy are part of it. One of them goes to a coffeeshop where it accepts bitcoin and he/she realises that he forgot his wallet so he brings up GetGems and starts chatting with the other party and asks her if she can send him some money in 10 minutes and she sends him bitcoin showing the getgems wallet (maybe a glimpse of its earned gemz/referral or advertisement model. So he/she goes and buys a cup of coffee paying with bitcoin while another customer is amazed how that worked while holding fiat/change in his hands. With the GetGems outro 'Messaging that Pays'. Its a pretty short ad and something that hasn't done yet even in the bitcoin space and actually not that hard and the fact that it also supports bitcoin it will be well received. |

Innovation is not always enough, what matters more is if you can implement it in such a way that is simple/interesting enough for the wider public and serves as a solid service. GetGems seems like it has managed to combine these two, innovation/simplicity. Besides Bitcoin its the second Crypto service i just want to use without just caring about the price and the fact that it also supports bitcoin is great.
