2541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: December 08, 2021, 02:30:02 AM
Are you guys serious that it is the end of bullish?
I saw some comments above stating that the bullish is over. But in my opinion, the bullish still continues because we don't have altcoins season yet. Moreover, some people previously predict that Bitcoin price can achieve $100k. The latest ATH was about $68k, which means still far from $100k.

Still 50/50 for me, neither end of bullish phase or start of bear season.

What we have is that the investors are undecided, but if you are going to look at past historical logs, December seems to be very bullish so hopefully this will still be true this year.

Yeah for sure $100k can still be achieve next year, but it will be a slow and hard grind to increase to even $80k because of the Omicron news and the Feds tapering. But we should remain optimistic that 6 digits in 2022 is doable by all means.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 08, 2021, 01:31:52 AM
Nice, another good Filipino boxer is once again given the chance to get a title.

Mark Magsayo would have to deal with Gary Russell's speed, not sure though if Gary still possesses that speed, but when he broke out to the scene, one assets he has is that he has quick hands.

But I think Magsayo will have a good chance because I will rate his power above Russell, Gary has the superior speed by Mark punch packs power.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 08, 2021, 12:35:58 AM
This is not something directly to the fight but I'm just happy that local news here our now creating an article related to the fight. Before, only popular boxers are covered but now, all PH rising stars are now also included. Talking about GMA news here although I don't know if other networks also covering the same news.

I just learned thru their news channel that the fight will be postponed due to the Omicron Variant that is now opposing the new threat of infection in the world.
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/boxing/813296/ancajas-vs-ioka-unification-bout-postponed-due-to-omicron-travel-restrictions/story/

Japan is known to be too strict in its fight against Covid. No wonder they postponed right away any public events in their country for a brief period of time.

Its good that they postponed this match as early as possible, though some matches will still push through this month despite of the thread of the new variant. With regards to Ancajas, I'm impressed with his record and I know he can still defend his title. Let's wait for their announcement on the final date of this match, it can happen by January maybe.
All possible dates could be indefinite or simply waiting up for more upcoming announcement because it would push through if everything turns out to be fine

already and it sucks that we do have another delay of fights because of this new covid variant and I wont be surprised if other fights would be postponed as

well because we do really need to follow some health protocol. As for record or stats then Ancajas is impressive.
The safety of the boxer here are the top priority and its a good move for Japan team to postponed the match.
I don't think any matches will be postponed especially with Casimero, Donaire and other boxers since the match will happen this week as far as I know. I din't know much about Ancajas, but its number is really amazing hope he can still have that belt longer.

The match between Casimero and Butler is in Middle East as far as I can remember and Donaire and Gaballo is in the US, and there's no report of cancellation.

Right, safety first of the boxers before anything is, and Japan is very tough on it as far as safety protocols that's why they have to postponed this one.

Perhaps Ancajas is one underrated boxer, but his record speaks volume, 10 successful defense of his 115 lbs belt and that's really impressive.
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 07, 2021, 05:09:45 PM
My pick.

Game : TrailBlazers vs Clippers.

No Lillard for TrailBlazers so I'm expecting the same story on their last two games where they are heavily dominated by their opponents.

-Loss 31 points against the Spurs
-Loss 28 points against the Celtics.

So, not really expecting that they'll bounce back, instead, I expect the Clippers to bounce back after a loss against the Kings.

I have the Clippers -2.5 @1.93 against the TrailBlazers. Yeah, I think the Clippers will have to bounce back after their huge loss against the Kings. They've just beaten the Lakers in a tough match and then loss the next game.

And without Portland's top scorer, it will be hard for them to really phase as far as their offensive weapons is concern. CJ can't do it alone and they lack the support system right now.

I'm tailing this as well, the line is currently at -3.5 @ 1.97 for the Clippers, let's see if they can really bounce back.

I've got other bets as well:

Orlando Magic +15.5 vs Warriors

Miami Heat -4.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies

GL Everyone!

I have Miami Heat -4.5 but it seems that they can't buy a basket right now, Lol.

Memphis with a 14 point lead right now in the first quarter. I also did bet on two underdogs,

Hornets +5.5
OKC +4.5

As parlay, but the chances now are very slim as both are behind in the second quarter.

Good call on the Hornets and OKC mate, OKC won by more than 5.5 and then Hornet lost by 3 points.

Two interesting game, Detroit leading all the way up to the middle of the 3rd and then OKC come back strong in the 4th.

While the Hornets and 76ers was a back and forth fight, and headed into OT. But Hornets doesn't have enough gas to sustain it in the OT.

For sure that parlay could netted you good odds.

Yes, it was around 3.xx odds:

And it was a good win, been losing this week and now at least I was able to get even and feel confident again. And good comeback win by the Charlotte and Thunder.

Only 3 games for tonight, so I will just bet on the Brooklyn Nets vs Dallas Mavericks. I'm taking the Nets -4.5. Best of luck again and congrats to those who win last night.
2545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people gone crazy about satoshi on: December 07, 2021, 04:32:45 AM
In 2009-10 no one is ready to listen him and suddenly later people gone crazy.
If you like bitcoin then forget satoshi, he don't want to be remembered that's what he is trying to say and you are not respecting it.
you are only interested in bitcoin not satoshi but you think I can't have bitcoin so if I get satoshi I can get some bitcoin from him lol, People are ridiculous.

Of course, we are going to remember him no matter what because of his invention. And that's why up to know people are looking for clues about his enigma. There could be individuals claiming to be Satoshi, but we all know that they are all fake because Satoshi wishes to hide himself from the prying eyes of the public. There are incentives for him to surface because he has tons of bitcoins, in billions. But I don't think it is enough for him to really come up and how much we search for him, we will not find it out, and will remain anonymous forever.
2546  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your analysis says about btc in Q1 of 2022?? on: December 07, 2021, 03:54:50 AM
It will depend on the last remaining weeks of December. If the final weeks of December will not see Bitcoin's price getting back to its ATH or even above, the first quarter of the year 2022 will be all about Bitcoin getting a new all time high. But if in the unlikely event that the last remaining weeks of December is so strong that it could give us a new ATH, the first quarter of 2022 will be all about correction. With the two possibilities, it is most likely that the former will come true.

Sooner or later we will have a correction, but as you have seen, if the last week of December proves to be bullish then I think it can still spill over on 2022 first quarter and maybe we can attempt to go 6 digits then before we can see a correction.

I think we have been settling down a bit for now, after a huge drop, the market is recovering to $51k currently and still moving up.

So hopefully this trend will continue up to the end of the month and bullish sentiments going on this first quarter of 2022.

Bulls vs. Nets
Heat vs. Bucks

Who you got?

It's the Nets turn to return the favor to the Bulls when they loss by a huge margin the last time they met.

The Heat will be without Butler and Adebayo due to their injuries so it will be tougher for them as they visit. This will be a blow out win for the Bucks most likely.

I will go with Nets and Bucks in these two matches. Both two teams are playing at home and i think thats a big advantage in matches like this also im expecting both matches to go Over in points especially the Nets vs Bulls game both teams have some really good shooters
I usually decide based on injury status and not on home or away games but this is a logical choice.

I'm also with Bucks and I may play spread or handicap here.
I'm still not sure about Bulls vs. Nets but I agree with the over in points.

The last time, Bucks lost without Giannis (resting), so for sure they are going to take it back and since Bam and Butler are not going to play, for sure the Bucks are going to take advantage of it with the return of Giannis.

Bulls are hot, but I will go with the Nets here, Durant and Harden will probably score 30++ each in this game. But its going to be close.

Games already started.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 05, 2021, 12:24:45 AM
Got burned with my 2 bets last night, damn, but we need to continue.

I like the Warriors chances of -6.5 against the Suns, no Booker so for sure the Warriors are going to take advantage of it.

Mavs vs NOP - Liking the chance of Mavs, -6.5 as well. Even without KP, I think they can win here in double digits.

That's only the games that I will bet tonight.

1/1 for me last night. Lost my Mavs bet, not even close, although I was able to get at least break even with the Warriors win. Betting on them again against the Spurs -8.5.

Knicks surprisingly on a losing skid right now. Even at their home court, they are finding it hard to win games. Tonight they've lost against the Nuggets with a huge lead.
2550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I only have 0.001 Bitcoin is that okay? on: December 04, 2021, 04:14:29 AM
Is it fine to only have that much because that's all I can afford.

Of course it's better to have more bitcoin in your wallet and hold it for the next couple of years.

But if you have that much then who we are to judge you? Maybe a advise is that it's not really hard to have bitcoin. I mean you can continue to stack sats from time to time. It doesn't mean you have to buy .001 in just one go, maybe .0001 per month will do it for you.

So best of luck and hopefully you can accumulate more.
2551  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Economic Advantage on: December 04, 2021, 03:33:55 AM
I reside in a country where the rate of inflation is high with a corrupted political system and tenures that have stolen the collective wealth of the nation and have crippled the economy, a high percentage of unemployed graduates who have in the last few years discovered blockchain and have gotten involved in Bitcoin activities such as trading and investments. Indeed Bitcoin has given us the economic power to overcome the crashing economy of many nations. 100% economic independent.

Yeah, it could be giving us a sort of economic freedom and then we can used bitcoin to store our wealth as well and not be dependent on banks. And we all know that if a economy suffers, we might see some bank runs so there are chance that we might withdraw our money in the first place.

Nevertheless, it will still be a long way to go for the majority of us. I mean there are still countries that are totally against bitcoin so the population can't enjoy this kind of freedom.
2552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with eth 2.0. releasing? Lower fee? on: December 04, 2021, 02:57:43 AM
It's hard to answer it because the supposedly eth 2.0 is being released in phases.

So not sure what phases we are in right now, but the last one? it was supposedly lower the fee right? but guess what, it didn't on the contrary the price continue to soar because of the increasing price of eth.

For me, I doubt that the next phase release will solve the problem of high fees instantly.
2553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: December 04, 2021, 02:10:12 AM
It is rare the athlete that retires at the top, we must understand that they love the sport in order to be able to perform at such high level, and this means that when their abilities begin to go down they decide to keep practicing the sport thinking they can make up for those lost abilities with their experience, but it comes to a point in which this is not enough and this is when we see our favorite star performing at a low level, I am not saying that this is going to happen to Donaire but it is a very common scenario.
Not only the love of sports but most especially the opportunity to earn more money, when a boxer is at the top, they can make more money due to opportunities of having big fights, so Donaire will not retire yet as he can still make money and his goal to be an undisputed champion has not be achieved yet.

Why are you talking that Donaire is already old? Look at him and try to analyze how good he is on his last fight. Donaire would not be a champion now if he is not capable of winning, so let's not worry about his age because it's just a number, as long as he keeps himself busy with training, he surely still has a lot to offer at his age.
^ You are right and still as we can see in this match, Donaire was still the beast that could hardly defeat by Gaballo.
We are almost there about the fight and I am very excited about the result of this match because I am going to bet with Donaire, though we think that it is possible though Gaballo has a chance.
Always think of a chance to see an upset as it happen from time to time in boxing, especially that Gaballo here is also undefeated and Filipino boxers are strong.

Whos odds now are in leading?
Of course, it's Donaire, because he is the champion and Gaballo is the challenger.

Nevertheless, I just wanted to know if which casino has an actual live stream?
I guess stake has a live streaming feature, but if you like to see more options, you can just search on Facebook, some illegal streams do exist.

Gaballo though is also a champion if I'm not mistaken, but this fight is to settle who will be the regular champion of this organization. As we all know there are a lot of champions even in a single organization like the WBC.

For the livestream, I think someone posted a link before for the Lopez vs Kambosos fight and hopefully he can gave it a link as well. I used that link and watch the fight.
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 04, 2021, 01:11:23 AM
I am sure that after so many games back to back, Suns will have a bit of hard time against GSW but if they can go over that hump then I do not know when they will stop. They are seriously doing one of the most epic runs I have seen, they are at 18 game winning streak right now and that is a huge winning streak. I do not remember anytime Suns were this dominating, and I mean Nash and Marion era neither, they were good but not 18 wins in a row after a finals good, I do not think they even made to finals with that team neither.

So, I assume that by the "success" they had, this is by far the best Suns team we have watched in decades. Let's see how they will do, this time there is no Jordan to stop them neither so I hope they will do better.

The Suns with Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire were only in WCF, and their maximum winning streak was 17 games. So you're right that the current roster surpassed them, although it's worth noting that the Suns' performance in those seasons was also epic. Regarding the upcoming game against the Warriors, I think it should be hard for the Suns, considering they will play without Booker. I wonder if they will be able to stop Curry again.

Well they did a good job on Curry the first time, but I think this will be different as the game will be hosted by the Warriors. And just like any other team, they are comfortable in their homecourt so Curry might score more on this game so it is to be expected but for sure Suns will try to clamp him up again.

Regarding the lost of Booker, yeah, it will be a big blown, back to back games and then facing the Warriors again. That will hurry hurt their chances tonight.

2556  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 03, 2021, 02:04:32 AM
WBC is giving all the advantage to Canelo, Lol. Makabu vs Mchunu first then they fight each and soften each other for Canelo. And then they will just have 4 months to prepare for Canelo.

And then Canelo can watch how both of them fight and win he see who is the winner, he already has a good strategy in his mind in advance. So I'm seeing Canelo going to win whoever he is going to fight next.

That's expected lol. WBC is Mexico-based and its president, Mauricio Sulaiman is Mexican as well so what can we expect hehe.

Yeah, Canelo always has the luxury of choosing whom to fight and everybody else just wanting to win that Canelo sweepstakes, that would be their very paycheck once Canelo chooses them.

But I like the chance of Makabu here once he disposes of Mchunu because of his size advantage. He may not have that lateral movement but at least he has the puncher's chance.

I agree with you, it is to be expected, after all Sulaiman and Canelo are both Mexicans and they are proud of what Canelo has accomplished so they give them all they want like a baby here, So win win for Canelo and this fight for the belt in cruiserweight will be big in Cinco de Mayo, another sell out crowd for Canelo as he will be going for another Mexican record in their holiday.
2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 03, 2021, 12:47:53 AM
I don't think he is gonna play this month.  Not only does he need to recover he needs to get into game shape.  Pretty much not playing in the NBA will screw anyone up.  I expect him to have trouble in the beginning shaking defenders.  He will be more a spot shooter, and stationary is easy to cover.  Not being totally pessimistic but that's a ton of time off it will take him a couple months to get into complete game shape

He will play this month. December 24, Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies. That's what I saw in some clips recently and I will try to find it.

He already recovered and working to get back on track for several months now. His shooting ability will not change but only his athleticism or those straight drives to the hoop. You are right, more on a spot shooter and an easy pick will do the job. But eventually, when he thinks his body is now cooperating, he will back again slowly on his usual.

You have to understand though it's been pretty much years since he played professional ball.  It's one thing to practice and do shoot around and sprints.  It's a whole other thing playing at pro speed.  I can see him being on a 10-15 minute clock as he comes back.  And the way they are playing no need to rush him back in.  Their goal is to win a ship and it's not won in December this is a marathon.

Pretty sure he will be on the restricted minutes once he come back, as you have said, no need to rush, they are still on top and maybe he will come back when they face a not so good team so that he will have a feel of the game. And then slowly bring him back in the next following game. And once this happens, GSW will be more dangerous than ever as they will have the Splash brothers once again.
2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 03, 2021, 12:06:26 AM
1/3 for me the last time, both of my picks lost and I got one tailing @danherbias07.

For this game, I'm going Knicks +2.5 against the Bulls, this game is going to be close and could go either way. But Knicks could be in a verge to win this one. Bucks vs Raptors, Bucks -2.5, Giannis is playing monster right now, although this is back to back to Toronto homecourt, the Raptors are struggling with key players in the injured list.
2559  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 02, 2021, 02:48:13 AM
^^ I think it's better that way for Canelo, because if will take time for him to go chase Makabu as they wanted it to happen on Cinco de Mayo. So Makabu can still defend his title in a rematch win some money and then go for Canelo in the States in May, still doable for him if I'm not mistaken. Again, unless Mchunu has other plans to derail the fight and won against Makabu.

This will be good for Canelo as he has time to prepare for the fight as he is moving up the weight division.
Also, with the fight between Makabu & Mchunu, Canelo will further assess the boxing style of either two fighters.
That will assist him on what strategy he needs to play inside the ring.
As he moves up the ladder, he needs to look out for all angles so as to be prepared on this fight.

Yep, as the articles says, Canelo for sure will be in the ringside live to watch how to 190 - 200 lbs fight each other and either one of them will the potential opponent of him in May. So Canelo will have all the time to prepare had a good plan, make the weight or at least go to 180 lbs because that is what he wanted to be in the fight. So at all angles, Canelo will have the advantage of this two fighting each other in front of him.

I guess that I would watch the Nets - Knicks game tonight. It seems to be like a delightful game to me. D. Rose's condition is still doubtful for this game. In case he plays, Knicks can fight back much better against Nets in this game. Otherwise, Nets are the overwhelming team here. With K. Durant and Harden especially, they would tear Knicks apart in my opinion. But we will see if I'm wrong or not.

DRose did play in this game, but Harden and Durant had a terrific game. But still the game is very close, 112-110, I thought that game will go into OT.

Fournier hit a 3 to tie the game, But Johnson was fouled next hit both free throws and Fournier missed a desperation 3.

Now let's watch the Suns vs GSW game.

That game was garbage.  I don't usually say the refs determined the outcome but they literally told Julius Randall that because of his size he doesn't get the same foul calls as smaller guys.  Seriously?  How can something be a foul for one and not a foul for someone else depending on body size lol.  That was terrible.  Zebras got to clean that up it's a bad look on them...

I also watched the game and up to the final buzzer, Randall is complaining something to the referee maybe it was the non call for him or something, but I didn't read about the referee telling Randall about that?

Anyhow, it looks like the ref did decide the outcome by calling a foul in the last 10 seconds and then giving 2 free throws.
