anyone else have thoughts on this?

okay if i download the new waves wallet, i have to input the secret phrase into it to have my waves show up there right? So all those other coins that are in my waves wallet will appear there as well? Thus once i do this, if i open the waves wallet from the chrome app, no waves would be there?

Hi there. What is the site to download the new waves wallet? So you recommend keeping waves in the new waves wallet or sending it to the nano ledger s? But it still gets leased while its in the nano ledger s?
http://www.wavesplatform.com/You can use ledger and keep all the client functionalities, including leasing. Do most of you waves users have your waves in their old waves wallet on chrome, the new waves wallet... or on the nano ledger? Okay so if you keep waves in nano ledger s, you still have to use it with the waves wallet right? Is there any pros of keeping waves in one wallet over the other?

Someone here mentioned lending. So this is legit? So are you guaranteed you get the btc back? What is the minimum/maximum btc you could lend and how long? Example let say you have 1 btc you want to lend. So if you lend 1 btc for a month, how much btc would you get back? Do people lend a short time like a week or its usually at least a few months? So if someone lends 1 btc for 6 months, how much btc are they looking back to get? Most importantly, the other party can't just take your btc and not give it back to you right? Is it backed by the exchange? Well what happens if that person who borrows doesn't pay back exchange?

I notice there are some coins that did increase during this bear market. Is there a reason for that? So btc price does not affect those particular coins?

Do almost all traders trade their altcoin to btc and then immediately to usdt? That way they have usdt to buy more altcoins without worrying about price of btc? Example you could buy altcoin and it double in price. But let say btc went down. Yes when you trade altcoin for btc, you get more btc than you started with.
But let say this. You buy btc and trade it for altcoin. Now let say altcoin drop 5 percent only. Btc dropped 15 percent. Now if you sell your altcoin, you lose profit. But you are selling it for btc... but you are getting more btc than you started with because btc dropped more percentage than altcoin.
So which do you prefer here?

When you say online betting, do you mean sportsbetting, casino or poker?

|
Example like someone post how much you start out with and how much of each they have. Example it could be $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, or $100,000 plus.
They list how much they buy of each coin. Then everytime they do a trade, they post the trade such as sold x coin at x dollars for x amount of btc. Then they post selling the btc for x amount of usdt and thus having usdt to buy coins later on.
Is there anyone that has done this? I recall i saw one thread like this where someone posted a portfolio of like $10,000 or $50,000 or $100,000... i don't recall which amount they started with. Obviously it could not be real money as well. But their goal was like 1 million dollars i believe. I can't find this thread anymore. But are there any traders here that post their daily trades so people could sort of follow their trades and do the same thing? Example say someone start out with $50,000 and post their daily trades. Well someone with $500 or $5,000 could do the same but of course each trade would be one less 0 etc. If so, any threads/posters that i could look at? If so, i assume most don't do very well right? The other thing i wonder is this. If someone is a good trader and make money, does it hurt them posting all their trades on this forum or not? Like does it do any harm to them because well they already did the trade before they post on the forum? For example i know in say sportsbetting, if you are someone who is very good and sportsbook know about you... such as those services where they charge money to clients and when they release the picks, a lot of sportsbooks move the lines. So that type of service would obviously make the wagers first... before giving out the plays. Thus if they send the picks first before betting it, well then if they were to bet it, they getting a worst line. I think i could compare it to like imagine someone who could manipulate prices on crypto. Thus they say okay buy this coin for $1. But the moment they send this tweet out... similar to like what mcafee did, the price keeps going up and you would have to buy it at say $1.30 or more because so many ppl are buying it. But i assume most traders don't influence the market right? Imagine a very good daytrader but he's like a regular person. Even he buying say $10000 of a coin that has a daily volume of say $100000 isn't going to do much right?
So i like to know if there are any traders here that post their daily trades.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response. But why would anyone not put a password for it? Because if you don't and say someone has access to your laptop, they could see how much coins you have even though they can't access it.

When i looked at coinmarketcap, i notice almost all coins went down when btc is down. However, there are certain coins that did in fact go up and good percentage. Is there a reason those coins went up? Because there is a correlation with btc and all the other altcoins but a small percentage don't seem to be affected by it? Is that how people daytrade to make money? Because say is bear market everything is down... then how does even one make money short term then?
|
|
|
Is it even possible now when everything goes down?
|
|
|
Is it worth buying any of these? Is mobilego probably the better option?

Hey hcp, thanks for the response.
Okay makes sense with what you mentioned that it reads your thing and find all addresses and balances. But here, you basically put a password that you remember like similar to like electrum right? Thus if you don't, anyone who has access to your laptop could basically turn that program on and see how much cryptocurrency you have? But you always have to remember this password right? What if you forget this password? Could you install it again? But as long as you use it with the chrome app thats still fine? Unless of course they stop the chrome app?

hi there. So you recommend me to update the ledger live now correct? Also do i need my nano ledger s connected to my laptop for this process right?
Just make sure you are on the latest version. After setting up your wallet, you don’t need to have it connected to update the Ledger Live app or view the balances of the supported coins. Both are legit. Hi there. When you say make sure you are on the latest version, u mean my firmware on the ledger nano s? I did a firmware update month ago though. So if you connect nano ledger s and it doesn't ask you for firmware update, you are fine? So when i go to the site now to download ledger live, do i need the nano ledger s connected to my computer? You don't need to have it connected to update the ledger live app or view the balances of the supported coins. Im confused what you mean by this. You mean it shows your cryptocurrency balances when your nano ledger is not connected to your laptop? That doesn't make any sense unless im interpreting it wrong?
