2541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has lifted its ban on crypto advertisements on: June 13, 2021, 07:08:10 PM
Google recently updated their policies regarding Google Ads and will now allow ads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets provided they have registered with FinCEN. This change is set to take effect in August 2021. As you may recall, the ban was imposed in March 2018 and lasted almost three years.

This easing of crypto advertising restrictions is a positive sign. Google appears to be warming up to bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general as many governments, financial institutions and private companies are increasingly liberalizing their crypto policies these days. What do you think?
This year has been a good year for Bitcoin. I like the direction we are heading to, a lot of institutions are starting to recognize Bitcoin and have accepted it. Some of them have even gone as far investing their cash asset in it which is really good. And we all know that has been part of the reason why we reached a high price this year.

We look forward to better years ahead as the recognition for Bitcoin has been high, and more people will start becoming part of this community as time goes on, which is very good. I am looking forward to when there are going to be lots of companies accepting it as a payment method on their websites.
2542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: June 13, 2021, 12:52:10 PM
everyone has same thought like you.. But you will regret it if you keep waiting like that, when the price rise you will regret with that decision especially you want to hold btc for long term. So just buy it and no need to wait.
Well, I did invest in Bitcoin when it was around $6000, not just only me, my friends as well invested in Bitcoin. And I also bought Ethereum for around $180 or so. I never even expected Ethereum to go this high because a lot of people were already losing faith and saying that it is not going to go up.

But I never bothered, cause I already had Bitcoin and I knew for sure that Bitcoin will go up because of the next halving. It's not like I made millions of dollars, but I did make good profit that I am satisfied with, and I believe that I can build myself from there. Right now, as I am seeing the market I don't think that the market is going to go as low as that $6000 price again, maybe the $30k price range is it for now. But let's wait and see.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gaming Scams during Pandemic. How to Stay Safe. on: June 12, 2021, 08:30:56 PM
some from those new gamblers who played online use scam sites, without knowing the strategy of scammers,

they've been allured by sweet promises, with pandemic the limitations of going to any offshore gambling site are prohibited and  those who wanted to continue playing, trying to use online casinos is the only option, without knowledge they've ended up losing more money.
Yes, a lot of players get lucrative offers from casinos and they will deposit without actually verifying the legitimacy of the casino and later realize that the welcome bonus offer was a trap because the wagering requirements are impossible to ever get close to, forget about achieving them.

This is the reason despite getting hundreds of offers via emails, I hardly ever click them because I am afraid of clicking a phishing email or visiting a scam casino. I know I might be missing some great offers and opportunities but there are more scam emails and casinos than legit offers.

There are people who still get trapped in scams like 1xbit (it's a scam don't ever play there) because they are advertising very aggressively and new players might be mistaking them with 1xbet.
2544  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 12, 2021, 04:14:09 PM
I think the economy of every country is affected by the covid 19 pandemic. This pandemic has  a huge impact with the economic status after a couple of months of lockdowns, many people lost their job, some business establishment either forced to closed or lessen their workers and many people were hungry, others died because of covid virus. Fortunately now, there alraedy a covid vaccine that helps to prevent the spreading of covid virus. And our economy now is gradually recovering.
Lockdowns were a bad idea, I must say, in the hindsight though and I cannot blame the governments for forcing them because it seemed as if lockdowns are the only possible way to stop the spread of the coronavirus but it absolutely killed the economy. I think if rules and covid protocols were followed, no lockdown was ever needed apart from then the virus was at its peak maybe.

Here in my country Im just worried to those people in a city because some of them are almost the same problem about food, And some stores are not back  in normal yet and many people are not back in the job they have.
Must be a critical situation then, aren't online food services available for you yet? I am ordering everything online these days and I feel like it is much easier and would continue doing so even when the virus is gone.
2545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't we have too many smart contract platforms already? on: June 11, 2021, 08:26:03 PM
Even if they are, investors are still looking and developers are still creating the Cryptocurrency industry is so huge that new innovation will be welcome here with open arms, so expect more smart contracts project to be created by developers and investors to invest, the Cryptocurrency is still moving forward and we are getting better, with these smart contract-based projects.
No doubt we are getting better blockchains every day but I feel like there are just too many right now. The recent bull run actually helped a lot of coins because every coin was getting enough attention and investors even meme coins.

for now yes, but not for the future. when crypto is already part of the mainstream, we need a new smartcontrac platform. if we just rely on the current platform, the problems that occurred in ethereum will repeat itself.
Crypto is already part of the mainstream and yes there was a problem of transaction fees on Ethereum but that happened because way too many projects were built on it and the number of transactions being made was crazily high.

Ethereum of course is the top platform and is the one that is used widely but there are definitely advantages which could be found in other smart contracts platforms that is not on Ethereum.
I feel like right now TRC-20 is the better blockchain but everyone has their own favorite and ERC-20 is still the dominant one. If I am not wrong the TRC-20 is the busiest blockchain right now in terms of transactions made.
2546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 11, 2021, 06:32:34 PM
...

This is one crazy sport, which requires great physical endurance...

I don't really like extreme sports like this, and also I don't recognize the contestants who are competing, I don't think I will follow the bet inside.
Climbing might look dangerous and life-threatening from outside but it is all about skill and practice. The first time I watched a few sports like NFL, I felt like the players must sustain huge injuries looking at their size and the nature of the sport but I was wrong and although injuries are there, they are never career-ending. Similarly in MMA heavyweight fights, you will feel like a fighter will die today but even when they get knocked out cold, they gain consciousness and feel better within a few minutes.

So climbing or any sport might look risky when you watch it but once you actually understand the dynamics and the skill of the competitors, it will not look that risky. As far as betting goes, people bet on slapping tournaments which is far more devastating than climbing.
2547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: June 11, 2021, 05:56:24 PM
Interesting, I remember seeing users in the chatbox that'll have the cake logo beside their name but I didn't know stake gives out presents as well. I guess this is one more reason for me to push for platinum (currently at gold with 65% progress).
To get a present you must have a personal VIP host and that you get at Platinum III now at stake.com so you should know that in case you are expecting a host at platinum I, you are wrong. Earlier it used to be at Platinum I so you aren't wrong completely but they changed it to Platinum II sometime ago and very recently Platinum III.

I don't think gifts and presents make a huge difference because all the gamblers are 18+ and usually you won't see too many emotions in adults towards gambling so yeah one would appreciate getting free coins but I don't think it does much in terms of loyalty. If you ask me, I would be much happier getting a small bonus when I am busted than getting a bonus on my birthday when maybe I am doing well already.
2548  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $90 Paypal to BTC on: June 10, 2021, 08:14:03 PM
I might be interested but I am very well aware and also a victim of reversible payments in Paypal so I will pass but since I am here I would suggest you to add more details like what's the ratio you are looking for, 1:1? And are you able to send as friends and family because those payments are not easily reversed from what I have seen.

Also, one thread I recently saw might help you out - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1992018.0 he charges 15% so if you agree on that maybe he can help you out.
2549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 10, 2021, 06:44:53 PM
Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you want to spend it / invest it / transform it in fiat but you do not want the BTC to be traced to exchanges or to you, how would you do it ?

It's not for me, it's to further my understanding of the space.
Then you’re going to make use of P2P . This option is available on lots of exchanges, even Binance has a P2P trading on their exchange and you can access it by going to the trade page and selecting P2P. So, it is very much possible to sell your coins and not be traced to an exchange at all.

But, Binance has a limit to how much you can sell and buy on their platform when you’re not yet verified. And you can only break that lint when you’re verified, which means that it has defeated the purpose of being anonymous and having complete privacy. But there are still other exchanges that you can still make use of  for the transactions, for as much as you want to do.
2550  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: June 10, 2021, 04:12:51 PM
Staking is actually very profitable if a project is able to maintain the price of tokens on the exchange, but most projects are unable to survive to strengthen the price so that it has a much higher selling value, many projects are unable to increase prices, but some projects actually fall and experience more. This decline has made staking less attractive to investors at this time.
That is why you will often see that coins which work on staking (PoS) are not so popular among investors like TRX which is rather used for quick payments but I haven't seen many investors holding Tron. On the other hand coins like BTC and Ethereum (I know ETH might switch but right now they are PoW) are often seen as a good investment.

I am not someone who stakes coins because I rather want to trade them and earn. Plus with staking coming locking your coins and hence a risk of not being able to sell if you see a market jump. Staking is a good option for people who are holding coins that work on PoS because there is no harm in earning some extra coins by doing nothing new.
2551  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Inflation in Economy. on: June 09, 2021, 06:54:52 PM
Our economy change drastically and very tangible of the eyed of everyone. We can not control the economics cycling in out of the world. More people suffer that can not afford to buy due of high demand of the prices the situation of the poor status it's getting vulnerable so it is really hard when we're in point of the high inflation more risk we can experience.
Inflation is a very big problem , it is not easy to be honest. Our current government in my country has ruined the economy and the covid-19 just seems like another great opportunity for them to totally destroy what is left as inflation has been high and they are also devalued the currency. A lot of things has been happening lately since things are very bad this time around and people are trying to survive. It’s all by God’s grace that we are surviving.

If the country is run by a good government that is far from corruption, then inflation rates are not supposed to reach insane levels or constitute a crisis between individuals.
The truth is that government everywhere is really corrupt. It gets worse in developing countries where the rich are in political powers and there is no one to hold them accountable for their very bad leadership, and they act however they want to. Well, you’re still right because I believe that there are countries things are not going to be as worse.
2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 09, 2021, 10:42:00 AM
gambling is also forbidden in my religion. So, what's for praying for something forbidden?
I don't think this will work moreover to something that is exactly forbidden. But, I don't know if in the other beliefs. This is just a personal opinion.
If gambling is forbidden in your religion you probably cannot look towards heaven for luck Grin because they already warned you against it. Jokes apart, I don't think praying works for anyone and if one feels it does, they are just fooling themselves. Imagine two different people praying for their bets and they have different players so who is gonna win? The one whose prayers are stronger? Doesn't make sense.

Each of us has their own gambling belief and practices. It may sound absurd when you say you pray before you gamble, I don't see anything wrong with it if it is what you believe when gambling. If a gambler thibks praying when betting can bring luck, then so be it. Betting practices and beliefs varies from people to people and there is nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't oppose your religious belief.
There is nothing wrong with eating pizza before gambling either but you should not satisfy yourself by telling that God is on my side today just because I have done a particular action. It brings overconfidence and later remorse.
2553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 09, 2021, 09:55:52 AM
I've lost big out of gambling, still my mind always looks for the Dice game. I don't know why I'm sticking to it. Quite often used to think of spending on other slot games, but wasn't able to do it. With Dice, the process seems to be quite simple. I keep spending on sports betting, but I wasn't able to start spending once after getting into Dice.
I too hate slots and dice has been here since the start but still feels the best option to wager. At times when I am really looking to wager whether it's for the races or weekly lottery, I wager via dice.

I have found a new way of wagering fast and safe if anyone wants to try they can also do so, but please do at your own risk. I use the https://bot.seuntjie.com/ bot and there I get an option to wager at stake with 0.999 multiplier and basically I win every bet since the chances of losing are near zero. It eats the balance slowly but this works super well when you are trying to wager.

For some reason, you cannot make the same multiplier bets at stake directly so I don't know how this bot works.
2554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POS vs POW - Coming for Bitcoin What is the Greatest Fear of the Rich? Poverty on: June 08, 2021, 01:08:22 PM
Well it’s like a normal thing for the rich guys, they don’t want to lose their wealth. And I think it is the same thing with everybody, if you get to that level of being rich, you wouldn’t like to lose your wealth to anybody.

But anyways, it’s not like cryptocurrency is the only thing there is in this world, but it’s totally wrong if we are going to be making use of a system that is going to be giving more and more control to the whales who are already looking for ways to be twisting and manipulating everything in their own favor which is totally wrong. Bitcoin, as well as other cryptocurrencies, are made for everybody, so it shouldn’t be a thing where only the rich guys will be benefiting from it.
2555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple announcing crypto emojis would move the price more than El Salvador did on: June 08, 2021, 09:20:56 AM
Always surprises me what moves crypto, stupid tweets by Elon and Chinese regulation rumors cause massive price swings but strong evidence of mass adoption and its like nothing happened? maybe we just need america to wake up?
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ntjhna/apple_announcing_crypto_emojis_would_move_the/
That’s really nice and I hope Android do the same thing and introduce emojis of cryptocurrency, that’s going to help in making a lot of people to be adopting cryptocurrency. I know that’s not going to like push everybody into cryptocurrency, but when they start seeing that emoji almost everyday, it will lead to everybody talking about it all the time and also using the emojis in some cases, then as it goes on some people will develop interest from there and would like to try out cryptocurrency investment.
2556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 07, 2021, 03:18:04 PM
Would you be able to decide which fight could be risk free that you will bet your weekly pay despite the small odd like 1.50 or would you still rethink if there is an upset like Weili Zhang and Rose Namajunas.

How about Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Augusto Sakai, is this a risk free fight to you?

Jairzinho Rozenstruik by the way is the one that did the nasty cuts to Allistair's mouth.
Now since the fight is over anyone can say that it was easy money but the odds suggested that Sakai had a good chance to win and although Rozenstruik proved his power, I had a feeling that if we went to the distance there was a good chance that Rozenstruik might gas out and Sakai would take advantage of that and land some big shots late in the rounds.

There is never free money on offer even when the odds are 1.01 and as a proof, I can show you at least 5 bets I made for wager and ended up losing with seriously low odds. For example, betting on a 1-minute market on soccer and I have lost a lot of them. Similarly, I have made bets on esports and lost some bets which I felt were free money.
2557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You could die from trading. on: June 07, 2021, 10:05:40 AM
Thats why profesional trader which living from trading. They dont wacth chart whole day. They only take 2-3 hours to analyze market and making decision at what price they want to enter market. And then they set the stop lost after calculating the risk factor. They wont use very big matgin. They have good risk management base on their money.
That's right and experienced traders have a setup such that they spend most of their time thinking rather than doing trades themselves. The place where I live, we have offices where traders operate and they have employees who will work for them, they just come once or twice a day and monitor the situation and loss/profit.

Maintaining health is important because even our mental health is related to how physically fit we are. I was reading about Elon and he spends hours running and lifting weights which shows that despite him being the richest, he still is conscious about his health.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: June 07, 2021, 08:12:51 AM
Why are you very interested in Elon Musk tweets? Forget about Elon Musk and his tweets. Elon Musk is doing his best to buy low and sell high. I don't want to be a part of the Elon Musk path. We must accept that he can slightly move the marketcap. He can do it until the rest of people lose trust in him. And his influence on the market will be zero in near months.
you are absolutely right, what you said has been proven now, Elon has lost the trust of his followers, and now his tweets won't have much effect, his actions so far only aim to make him buy when prices are low and sell when prices are high, he only thinks about personal gain.
Elon is actually doing all this just to remain in news. I mean the guy is so confused that he supports dogecoin but speaks badly of bitcoin while very well being aware that both work on proof of work and if you are talking bad about bitcoins, there is no room in hell to talk positively about doge which is a copy of bitcoin and a meme.

He is so confused that he will do anything that keeps him trending in the market. He makes no sense when he promotes doge and recently a strange tweet from him pumped an adult coin, I read this in some article. Not sure why people are crazily following him despite clearly knowing the guy has nothing to do with crypto and is only chasing fame.
2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 06, 2021, 08:09:29 PM
People who vaccinated and have licenses can join the match. If the government allows open stadium, with big crowd, they will ask those vaccination license. But it is still risky, you can still be infected even you are already got 2 doses of vaccine.
As far as I know, Vaccine do not make recipient immune to viral infection and they are still at risk of contracting it even after getting 2 doses. This may have to get the attention and consideration of the government before giving permission to the supporter to fill the stadium. If the government give permission, health protocols and social distancing must also be applied to minimize the number of transmission.
Thanks to vaccination and much better numbers in europe, there is a good amount of places that accept the fans in the stadiums, I do not mind it honestly, obviously there is a good amount of games that I watched which I believed was better without any fans, there are "derby" type of situations which means it is really worse with fans because they create a chaos, this way there is none.

At the end of the day there is a good amount of players who ask for fans and that is what matters, if the players want to see the fans and if the organizations need the fans for the money for it, then there will be fans because that is the people who they are trying to appease and that is why there will be some fans, not full stadiums but there will be some fans. I wouldn't really mind if the game was like zero fans, just friends and family, like maybe 200 at the most.
2560  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: June 06, 2021, 06:18:07 PM
I hope that what remains from Covid educated us and let's us improve our systems and decision making processes. As so often in the past there is a crisis but the situation returns to the status quo nevertheless even though we wish we would improve our world. We will all find out in not that many years from now.
very true because every incident there is always a lesson to be learned. because everything that has happened let it happen. most importantly we must be able to change the mindset and continue to adapt to technology as much as possible. The lesson for me is that I can stay longer in the forum and discuss, share knowledge, experiences and thoughts that will become the pioneers of the birth of an increasingly advanced digital era.
Yeah, it didn’t just advance us well into the future, it also advanced us well into problems, like seriously. A lot of people are always complaining about how things have gotten in a lot of areas. Okay I am not going to talk about the fact that lots of good people lost their jobs, but that one is not a big problem because I believe everyone is going to look for another way and also there are now so many remote jobs online, though it’s going to be really difficult to find a new job.

All that aside, the next problem now is the rate at which crime has gone up, it’s just like the cage was opened and they let out the dogs. The government everywhere should be doing what they can to put things under control.
