2541  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ready to Learn on: October 08, 2022, 09:23:21 AM
OP, apart from this forum, do you have any experience participating in similar places? You have been embarrassed to write any posts since July. Who spooked you so much? I would like to know who considers the forum a place with the strictest rules. No one will ever ban you if you actively participate in discussions. Choose topics that interest you. If you don't understand something, just ask. I don't think that by asking a good and appropriate question, you will be regarded as a spammer. Just imagine you are interested in some subject; what do you do in this case in ordinary life? You go to the Internet, ask, find answers, do not understand, and ask again. By gaining some knowledge, you will help others. Right?
Therefore, be more natural, be interested, read, or help where you already have some knowledge. Everything is simple.
2542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KingsDen's Newbie Guide Compilation. on: October 08, 2022, 08:12:37 AM

No doubt sir. The content will remain unique and as well stand the test of time. But the reality is, only a few will be willing to invest the type of effort that brings uniqueness when there are simpler was to produce a look-alike.

Most often, this comes from the fact that the one who uses the look-alike does not have a complete understanding of the topic that he would like to highlight and explain. I'm always surprised that duplicated or paraphrased topics and guides get merits, as it's clear at first glance that the information isn't new.
I would like to say to such retellers that the ability to use the Internet and search for information is not only theirs but also that of many other people. Therefore, the transmission of non-original content here is seen as a very crude attempt at the hunt for merits and an attempt to deceive users.
2543  Other / Meta / Re: Does Forum Advertising Considered as a Formal Work? on: October 08, 2022, 07:19:49 AM
If you look at your posts, you were initially interested in ranking up. That is, it can be assumed that you planned to receive payments either from subscription companies or by participating in bounties. For everything else, including doing business, rank is not important.
I'm afraid to imagine what you can write in your resume if participation in a bounty is listed there.
Just don't bother. The forum is a unique opportunity to gain additional knowledge, which is provided here for free. As a result, it must be regarded as a current or potential source of additional income.
2544  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 07, 2022, 12:36:04 PM
Yes, I spend bitcoins when I need them. I do not consider bitcoin exclusively as an investment tool; for me, it is the same money as fiat. Some things on the Internet are also sold for bitcoins, so I see no barriers to paying with them. I don’t understand the fanaticism of some who call for using Bitcoin only for holding, and I’m probably a fatalist because I like to live in the here and now and not wait for a wonderful future that may not happen in our time. You have to take everything out of life.
2545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not use your phone number for crypto registration and other crypto related th on: October 07, 2022, 06:32:23 AM
Would it already be a problem we can encounter if you provided cell phone numbers to someone? I’m asking this. Because there have been a lot of scam texts in my country that annoy me, and if they know my number, would it be a problem? I don’t see how they would be able to use or hack a Sim by just knowing your number. It would be a problem for everyone who has been compromised to know their numbers and names.

In addition to everything that has been added above, I would also very much like to caution everyone not to publish their mobile phone number, for any other purpose, on the Internet. My number was exposed by someone in a telegram, after which I received a catastrophic amount of spam, not only in the telegram but also in the form of promotional calls and SMS messages. After that, I had to change the number and use separate numbers for both calls and instant messengers.
2546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson I learnt the hardest way ( rigorously for newbies ) on: October 07, 2022, 06:12:44 AM
My guess is that the OP associated first love and first coins as a charm that he will stay with for life. But for many here, Bitcoin was and will remain the first and last love of crypto. So your comparison is not very good.
I can't imagine exchanging bitcoin for some shitcoin while watching it temporarily drop.
OP, your problem is the rush. If you are patient and observant, you will succeed both in cryptocurrency and in your relationships.
2547  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole tipping culture in western countries is unfair and totally wrong! on: October 06, 2022, 02:03:07 PM
Who limits you from tipping the builder? Let's be bold. And why are you counting other people's money? It's a poor man's speech, but the tip also serves as a help for the waiters and all the wait staff. I don't see any problem, and I always leave it for a tip. Read the parable "The Boy and Ice Cream" on the Internet; it speaks of a person's culture.
2548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Our Bitcoin and Other Assets If We Die? on: October 06, 2022, 12:57:16 PM

Still not getting Any merit 😁

You can walk through the topics and see how much merit you can get by creating just one really competent topic instead of a bunch of useless ones. You have only recently registered on the forum, but you have already spawned 20 topics with questions that have been discussed thousands of times.
Also, by copy-pasting other people's articles and begging for merit, you are building yourself a very bad reputation.
But, on the subject, as long as you have your two dollars, I think you and your family have nothing to worry about. Grin
2549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let’s keep our eyes on scammers logics on: October 06, 2022, 12:37:50 PM
It's just a common trick that everyone already know because it's not only happen on Bitcoin space. As long as it's related to money or wealth, scammers will try to trap someone who have a low knowledge and rob their money.

You're forgot one thing that everyone should know what's actually the most scammy in crypto space, it's shitcoins (e.g. 99% of cryptocurrency). Those new projects that you see on Altcoin or bounty section are full of scam, anyone should avoid and just buy Bitcoin.

You're right. But the problem is that almost everyone who is interested in the altcoin and bounty sections does not want and perhaps does not have the means to buy bitcoin. They try their luck at catching freebies, which in turn empty their already empty wallets.
One could imagine if everyone suddenly woke up and realized that the more they participated in all sorts of scam bounties and giveaways, the more they exacerbated the problem with scammers.
2550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Some People think that long term Bitcoin holding is a dumb idea? on: October 06, 2022, 08:35:42 AM
You write in the section about Bitcoin. So I think it's the other way around. Those who are ready to hold bitcoin will make a profit. Bitcoin will not go anywhere, which cannot be said about alternative coins. Honestly, I only read such nonsense from you, so you need to reconsider your views. You probably still do not understand the full value of Bitcoin.
2551  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life lessons from Bill gates and how it could make you a successful entrepreneur on: October 06, 2022, 06:55:12 AM
The second motivational theme in recent times. The forum transforms into psychological training.
And in fact, there are a lot of such guides on how to succeed and everything else on the Internet every day. Furthermore, when compared, all the topics are similar.
However, if we return to religion, we will recall that God gives each person according to his or her talent. It is important to choose this talent correctly, not to make a mistake, and not bury it in the ground. In life, it is important not to miss your luck; "grab fortune by the tail."
All those millionaires and successful people were just such people who caught their luck. Just walking through life with the flag "I'm doing well, and I'm rich" will not get you anywhere, even if you regularly read and follow these books.
2552  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 06, 2022, 06:27:38 AM
I think that what an adult person will be like depends entirely on his upbringing. You should not ruin the plans of the child by saying that he is poor and will remain poor because his whole family has been poor for centuries. Everything should be an example; if a child from an early age sees how their parents are constantly learning something, this will be a motivation for development. The habit of learning, even after reaching a certain skill level, must be constantly present in life.
I have a simple example. My grandfather is a doctor on a sports team. Despite the fact that he has a very large amount of experience and work experience (more than 35 years), he does not stop at his own qualifications. And it is precise because he has modern knowledge that he still remains in demand at a time when many other doctors younger than him were laid off when the organization could not keep more staff.
2553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KingsDen's Newbie Guide Compilation. on: October 06, 2022, 05:57:28 AM
I remember all your steps. How noisily you tried to talk about yourself, and the fifth topic, made me smile. But I understood one thing: people are different, everyone has different views, someone appears very carefully, and someone wants to tell the whole world about himself, and this is normal.
What matters is where it all leads. You have proven this by reaching your rank. Beginners can really learn from the examples of those who somehow achieved their goals. Unfortunately, in our time, many of those who are initially actively involved in the life of the forum add up their enthusiasm at the slightest failure or criticism
2554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 05, 2022, 07:39:28 AM
OP, I looked at your profile. You signed up in 2017. And also, then you asked whether it is possible to get 1 bitcoin without mining.
I think you've missed your opportunity a bit. After all, if you had been buying a little bit of bitcoin since 2017, and had been patient, you would now say otherwise.
But there are a lot of people like you. Therefore, without waiting "several thousand years," you still have the opportunity to become the owner of Bitcoin. Just be a little optimistic in your predictions.
2555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's alright to lose and learn on: October 04, 2022, 07:20:44 AM
There is a good saying that says that the one who does nothing makes no mistakes.
And accordingly, such a person will not have anything that could make his life better. It is only through mistakes that we acquire a thick skin called experience.
It can even be said that if you do not give up after some losses, then you will definitely have a white streak ahead. A lot of people are disappointed in bitcoin, and only those who have a core of life, as a result, find success.
2556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a seed phrase precisely, and why is it significant? on: October 04, 2022, 07:06:37 AM
OP, maybe it's translation difficulties, but so many people have corrected you above, which suggests that you cannot fully understand the topic that you decided to explain to beginners.
I'm curious, if your topic is telling everyone on the radio about the benefits of Bitcoin, can it contain the right conclusions if you clearly show that you are not yet fully versed in some things?
Maybe you should not hurry with such information?
2557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I secluded to beginners board only for now? on: October 04, 2022, 06:45:42 AM
Your first post is in the Gambling Discussion Thread. Also, I don't see any of your deleted posts. Why do you ask such stupid questions, then? I don't see the need to create the thread you created, as it's worth trying first and asking later. Registration is in May, and you still don't know where to go or if you need to write. Pretty strange behavior.
If you are asking about the opportunity to write on a topic for beginners, then such questions, if they continue, are unlikely to give you a reputation. It is necessary to be independent; the forum is not a kindergarten.
2558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privilege to teach Bitcoin in church on: October 03, 2022, 07:35:58 AM
so I don't know if you're the one having a piracy to the topic to phish for merits or same person indulging under a covering, if you must teach bitcoin, go to the street, neighborhood, market, companies and organizations and introduce bitcoin to them, lastly make use of the search button to check for related topics being already discussed

I can't call it a merit hunt. Before you judge, you need to think about what you are doing to attract people to Bitcoin.  Huh Angry

OP, I read your threads, and I'm really surprised by your efforts and your concern. I understand that an hour of talking about bitcoins is a drop in the ocean, but your passion and desire to help people deserve respect. I am generally interested in the culture of your people. It is completely different from the culture in which I live. Very few people worry about how their neighbors live. I see that you are doing this selflessly, and I really hope that you will help a few more people get interested in Bitcoin.
And of course, we all really hope that you will warn all those interested in investing that it is not worth risking funds at such an uncertain time without having enough cushion in life.
My respect.
2559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I keep my Bitcointalk acc safe if truly it can be hijacked on: October 03, 2022, 06:26:02 AM

5. Regularly change your password every month.

I have looked at your profile. You are not acting on your own advice Smiley. Or do you suggest changing the password in the mail every month? I think it's too vain.
If my password consists of 15-20 or more characters, including all characters and letters in different cases, the probability of cracking the password is reduced to nothing. Another thing is how I store this password. This is more important.
Also on topic, OP, there's a thread where Lafu catches all sorts of malware on the forum. You can just read it and see how accounts can be hacked. In addition, you will learn a good lesson: you should not trust the promises of profit and follow different links.

Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action !
2560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper can easily get ruined, fast. on: October 03, 2022, 05:56:49 AM

Memorizing the seed phrase will be okay if the person is really good in memorization.
For the seed being placed on any devices/documents/websites, I think it will be good to encrypt it rather than just putting the exact same words. Still both of these will not work for everyone, so I think people should stick on how can they properly manage to store their seeds.

One day, a piece of some heavy substance that falls on the head, or an accidental but strong enough blow to the head, completely knocks out all the information about seed phrases and, in general, about one's own name. As a result, relying on one's own strength is such an occupation.
It has already been advised many times how to save your seed phrases. I think you should not invent a bicycle. Special paranoid agents can be advised to use all the methods at once in case of any catastrophe, including an alien attack.
