Please consider adding 66 coin, not really dead but I've been trying to revive the comunity for the past 6 weeks, we have been screwed by cryptorush twice (we were listed there), price was on the rise and so was network hashrate, now some of us have coins stuck there, we'll see if they get restored! Interest is already on the rise and hashrate is slowly getting restored, development active (I have taken development over a while ago, after seeing that the coin was abandoned), we're running polls, giveaways, had a new forum and a new exchange added in just the past week! What we need help with is marketing, advertising and getting accepted as a payment method somewhere! That's an interesting coin, indeed. Would you be willing to contribute to the foundation in general with your revival skills? Your coin might be one of the upcoming coins selected. Do you have ownership of the github?

That's the funniest thing I have seen.... An honest crook? Track the value of any of the coins you lost so you can take him to court for admitting he stole your currency/property or whatever they call it where you are from.
That's very true. A crook that beliefs it is logical, because he lost some money. :S Also it's obvious he is French and the Whois info is quite detailed.

Sorry to announce that CryptoKK was also not in it for the long run: Yesturday one of our server got attacked by the rootkit Azazel ( http://blackhatlibrary.net/Azazel). This happened straight away after installing some new coins. The malware was into a daemon, compiled from the github sources. The hacker started to withdraw funds on this servers. Not a lot maybe, but enought to make us unable to pay the 4 other servers this month, because we should refund the customers. I was alone on this project, all was doing well. I never received a complain message for any issue.. Pro in security... I can't believe an open-source soft got me. Nice done. Had the night to decide what to do. Spent heavy time on this, was hoping to continue for a while. I'm leaving with all your coins. It's even not enought to refund myself. I lost time and money. Cryptokk wasn't just about money, did it by passion, wanted to use my skills to help and provide great services. I can't take the risk to continue and make the things worst IRL. I'm very sorry. Dubiel ( contact@cryptokk.com). He apparently thinks its normal to "I'm leaving with all your coins. It's even not enought to refund myself.". He seemed legit, but turns out to be highly unethical... ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Lost myself a lot of Fry there. Had about 1.5 M... It is pretty clear that my coins are still there, because I sent 450k bounty yesterday and tracked down the account it came from: http://cryptexplorer.com/address/FPzuZTnpKRgozoC6LoxnE6m3EavfdxTTdRHope this guy just sends it to me, because he cannot let everybody be hurt because he willfully takes peoples wallets to "compensate" himself...

ANNOUNCEMENT It would be great if we could get the coin on more exchanges: VOTEMINTPAL: https://www.mintpal.com/votingAllcoin: mail them to add us to the voting list: service@allcoin.comBesides this, I've contacted to have Poloniex to have a giveaway of Frycoin. That would be a great way to do it! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) VOTED!

My opinion: Your effort and concern is genuine, but i dont find sense into reviving scam/abandoned/outdated altcoins other than some financial gain, which is clearly against the spirit you propose. If you gather that kind of people, you will do a lot more joining and supporting existing coins with special atributes and an established base that maybe is just lacking a bit of new blood. I mean, let the natural selection select... My 2 litoshis,
I agree with this sentiment. The main purpose is financial gain (not saying that's "wrong") which kinda is pointless. Why not just take the hit of the loss and use the experience to make a better judgment on the next coin? The purpose of the foundation would not be financial gain, but to strengthen altcoins in general. Coins are made to be decentralized, but with closed off development accounts to further the coin, the community needs control and ownership of the code.

It's an interesting concept, however my doubts lie in the fact that it typically is not an issue with the Dev's abandoning it, an opensource project can be updated by anyone in the community, if a community is large enough because the coin attracted enough people due to it's innovations/marketing place, it will be taken over by someone to ensure it's survival.. It's the survival of the fittest coin!
Wouldn't it be great to get a lot of people together and let the coins survive due to strength of concept and not the randomness of the coin? I moved the main topic here, btw: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.msg6294074#msg6294074Indeed, but when you are talking about strenght of the concept, if it is really a strong concept, the community will take over on it's own and take over if it gets abandoned. Taking over a coin is hard work, being in the KittehCoin team myself, I can tell you it's hard work and the community expects a lot from you with no compensation at all, nowadays for a coin to be successful from a dev team perspective, pre-mine and IPO is a necessity, you need funds to run a project like that and unless you are a bunch of people that are rich and have all the time in the world, it's going to be extremely challenging. Just my two cents, honestly, I think it's a good gesture and all and who knows it may work out, but there's so much competition right now that it's hard to deal with something that has already had bad press. Thanks for your input ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Wouldn't it make sense to combine your team with other teams in an organization and spread the workload? For expertise knowledge you can simply get somebody from the fund instead of wasting many hours looking for somebody. From a money point of view, we could also have a combined fund that invests in these upcoming coins and uses the profits to pay for the costs and give all the contributors compensation for their effort. Next to this, the best thing is to keep it non-profit, to avoid legal problems. Would you guys be interested in contributing a bit to the foundation? I will add this conversation to the main topic, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.msg6319111#msg6319111 , so it would be nice if you could respond there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It's interesting for sure, however if you start managing several coins the exact same way then I think (may be wrong) those coins will all begin looking the same, not much will differentiate them from each other. You might be able to pull it off by reserving yourself to having no more than one of each kind of coin; sha-256, scrypt, scrypt-n, etc; at least you'll attract different miners. Best of luck! That makes sense! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

okay, pardon me, i might have used old source and messed things up because i am too busy :p
Good news! I turned the node down, because it was reported there was something wrong with it. Hopefully it was just teh wrong source. The link you just posted is to an incorrect wallet or does it link to the new source? You can check it if you look at the block count of obfuscode pool and the getinfo in the wallet. Hope we'll get there soon! Awais has put a lot of time into helping us out, so I hope I can reward him with the bounty soon! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Looking forward to it! I'll send my part of the bounty to Frycoin asap! (when I have the wallet) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Anybody knows where to store our rapidcoins? I still have a little hope with rapidcoin if someone may rebuilt it. Therefore, I want to find out a way to to withdraw my rapidcoins from coinmarket.io to a wallet? Or at least the cold wallet.
Any ideas?

That's it, I'm qubitcoin from the outset. After disappearing devs. We had many messiah talked, talked and that was ended. willowrose has balls of steel. These coins need. Glory him for it!Glory ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'll add a +2 behind Qubit, because you're they second person supporting it Technically, Qubit is very clean, very fast. It has no dev now, and a low level of activity, but good distribution. Also Thor is inactive. Fast function, well conceived and a PoS coin. Added a +1 and Thor ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
