2542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 16, 2015, 11:55:58 AM
Transaction time is a biggest concern. Some time its instant. Other time it takes much time and some users even wait for like 5 confirmation which normally take 30 mins for me now. So waiting seems to be drawback.
Transaction in Bitcoin actually Instant, Confirmation of the transaction which is takes much time.  Tongue

But what about the transaction that has no fee, they never get confirmed so sad Sad
2543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 16, 2015, 11:54:53 AM
This is a pretty pathetic attempt to crash the price on Greek bailout news.  That's was already priced in when we crashed from $308.

The creash i dont know what is happening or what is triggering it to push and get back to the low amount.
2544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets are unsafe on: July 16, 2015, 11:51:10 AM
If hardware wallets are unsafe what should we use then? we cant go for anything else, just using the cloud lol

Paper wallet is the only thing that is somewhat safe.

Sad that such a backward solution is the best one we can come up with. Looking forward to the next revolution in this space that makes owning btc safely easy.

What do you mean by paper wallet ? real life paper? you mean that !!! can't really understand it

My speculation about the bitcoin price was 300$ in july, so it did, but it has fallen a bit.

2549  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: i have $250,000 to start a farm help me plan it on: July 15, 2015, 10:51:28 PM
Alright, you have got many good suggestion, what i would suggest is taking care of cooling systems, try to keep for a long time all the hardware that you want to use.

I HIGHLY suggest finding an area with low electricity and can use evaporation cooling.  At 250k a full evaporation cooling might be excessive but I would find others to team up and get it.

If you have cheap electricity, and a way to cool that does not kill profits yes it could be highly profitable.    I do think OP was not serious though, i think this entire thread is a "what if" type situation.

Yes of course, because the hardware only works with electricity, then this is essential and must be cheap to profit.
2550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 14, 2015, 11:57:14 PM
I earned from yobit, more than 1 btc from my investments in DUB, CYC and MTLMC3, but i havent cashed out yet, its a very good investment in my view.

Wow, well good investment, i saw that DUB coin but wasnt very attractive. But 1btc profit is too much, good job.

I still havent sold ,and not selling for a long time, these coins can go really up, i mean in the zone of 50.000 satoshi/coin, and then i can make 700,000% returns , this is not HYIP, this is real investing in altcoins, no wonder why so many traders come here to make money Smiley

May i ask you how much did you buy each coin? i was buying at @200 at the beginning but seems it has drop now

I got 100.000 DUB, and I bought at 110, holding until 800 satoshi.
I got 150.000 CYC, bought at 41, holding until 900-1500, it has alot of potential
I got 1 million MTLMC3 , bought at 10 , holding until 2000 satoshi or more, this is long term.

I am extremely bullish, and i can easily earn 10-16 BTC profits from these 3 investments

Well about DUB there is no profit right now, for cyc yes, and for mtlmc3 there is still profit,
could you suggest me something some tips when to buy and when to sell which is the best time
what should i consider before investing etc... here or in pm no problem

2552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2015, 11:23:40 PM
I've spent a lot of time trying to come up with the best ways to earn Bitcoin, and after trying a lot of methods, it became apparent that the most efficient way to earn is by providing a skill as a service. For me this skill was writing, and my profits through writing is much more than any amount I have made from trading, posting, faucets, giveaways, and gambling combined.

This.  Some skills you can't apply on the internet so you just need to work, earn, and save.  Even if you don't have a skill like writing or programming there are still tasks that need to be done that people offer small amounts of coins (think <2USD).  These do not take long so you can do 2 or 3 in a day in an hour and earn 5 USD worth of coin or so.  I don't find the time worth personally it but everyone has to start somewhere.  Smiley

Everyone can start wherever he wants but having skills is good, not everyone has certain skills.
Good job mate, keep it up to the next level Smiley

The price of bitcoin is currently going up. I would only buy if you plan to hold for a while. I suspect there is going to be a dump considering the price increase.

Well i don't agree with you, the price is not going up, the price is going down. Check on coindesk.

2556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2015, 10:38:38 PM
One of the best alternative is buying altcoins and then trading them, sell and profit in bitcoin.

I think it's good to buy but not holding for a long time as the price isnt much stable these days.
2559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many services do you use for trading on: July 14, 2015, 10:35:47 PM
Which is the best trading platform ?

I think cryptsy, since it has a large amount of volume of different coins.
You decide at the end.

too slow for me, i prefer bittrex or poloniex, but bittrex is the best for fast trading, also both bittrex and cryptsy never faced an hackers's attempt

Well choose the fastest one and the trusted one you choose, and which you enjoy trading at.
2560  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF is happening??? on: July 14, 2015, 10:34:39 PM
Price is not stable as much, but i am a bit surprised about this pump. a huge step for me at least Tongue
Current price: 286.36$

Just a shame that I set my sell orders for ltc at 0.042, which I anticipated would be possible Sad ltc will probably rebound again though, if the Chinese are not done with their ponzi yet..

Me to bro. I had a nice set of sell orders from 0.032 to 0.045. Too bad they didn't trigger. Let's hope for the rebound  Cool

Something is happening guys, bitcoin price is rising 297$ is the current price.
Chinese pumping?

it is most probably the chinese that shifted their attention to bitcoin as their stock market took a turn for the worst. besides price was way higher in chinese exchangers at the beginning which shows where the heat is comming from.

Well, "took a turn for the worst" doesn't describe it very well. 70% of the stocks are halted and main bagholders are not allowed to sell for the next 6 months. That is pretty much a total clusterfuck. Smiley

Well the chinese exchangers, dump and pump very high the price of bitcoin, at the moment is a bit stable but not much.
