Looks like santa's coming to town earlier this year. $300 is possible by the end of the week. Happy to those who benefited at the current price!

yeah 300 is possible but the question is can we hold the 300 mark and not falling again after we touch it like the last time?

because if we cannot sustain it then it is pointless it will look like a dead cat bounce

bouncing from where? last ath ? i Donut gettit

no i mean if we cannot sustain the 300 mark, we will most likely return to previous range 250-275

this same pump happened some time ago, people have already forgotten this ?

it's happened two times one with the 275 highest, then again a return to 220, then a grasp of the 300 wall and again a dump to 220-250

not sure if what you are describing is a "deat cat bounce"

here is an example:

snip
wikipedia says:
Quote
In finance, a dead cat bounce is a small, brief recovery in the price of a declining stock.[1] Derived from the idea that "even a dead cat will bounce if it falls from a great height",[2] the phrase, which originated on Wall Street, is also popularly applied to any case where a subject experiences a brief resurgence during or following a severe decline.

it would be the third bounce, not sure if a dead cat can do that  Smiley

isn't a dead cat bounce a simple return to the previous price after a fake pump?

i've always see it as that, but i guess that there may be other interpretations...

And now the bitcoin dump is happening. We've seen this many times before. Same patterns repeating. Smiley

Price is not stable as much, but i am a bit surprised about this pump. a huge step for me at least Tongue
Current price: 286.36$

Just a shame that I set my sell orders for ltc at 0.042, which I anticipated would be possible Sad ltc will probably rebound again though, if the Chinese are not done with their ponzi yet..

Me to bro. I had a nice set of sell orders from 0.032 to 0.045. Too bad they didn't trigger. Let's hope for the rebound  Cool

Something is happening guys, bitcoin price is rising 297$ is the current price.
Chinese pumping?

it is most probably the chinese that shifted their attention to bitcoin as their stock market took a turn for the worst. besides price was way higher in chinese exchangers at the beginning which shows where the heat is comming from.

Well, "took a turn for the worst" doesn't describe it very well. 70% of the stocks are halted and main bagholders are not allowed to sell for the next 6 months. That is pretty much a total clusterfuck. Smiley

Well the chinese exchangers, dump and pump very high the price of bitcoin, at the moment is a bit stable but not much.
