Dnotes. I'm trying to get out of crypto with the way everything is tanking right now, and need the cash I do have left.
Is it okay for be to post the amount of coins I want to sell here?
Our official recommendation is that all transactions be conducted through the exchange, due to the nature of our industry. Interested parties should communicate with you through PM if necessary to make special arrangement as needed. We very much appreciate your concern that a large sell order will negatively affect our price, over the short term. There have already been an increased amount of selling and so far they have been absorbed with increased buying. We certainly appreciate your support and confidence expressed. I have just recently started collecting Dnotes with the intention of keeping them long term. It's only been a couple of months since I started to stockpile note. I find the idea of encouraging people to see their Dnotes as a long term investment interesting. It seems to me that other cryptocurrencies have less direction and a lot of people are just trying to cash in which is increasing their volatility. I see the recent drop in Bitcoin value as one indication of that. But I have become concerned that the developers are relying too heavily on the community. By that I mean that the more Dnotes are held by long term investors the more stable they appear to be, but there is still potentially the risk of people dumping their coins when the value increases sufficiently.
I don't mean to sound skeptical, I was just wondering what other firm plans do the devs have to get Dnotes into the mainstream as a useable currency that can allow for everyday transactions through online stores/vendors/other payment systems? I think that being able to use Dnotes in the same way as current payment methods for transferring fiat currency is going to be a very important part of building a platform that people can trust.

DNotes is like a loaf of bread that is still in the making, typical of just about any business at the formative stage. When it is still in the form of bread dough, it doesn’t look like a loaf of bread or taste as good. We don't like to project too far into the future on things that we are not actually working on or planned to in the near future. That is why I wanted to specifically qualified that. A lot of things are highly dependent of the regulatory environment. Our industry is not helping with rampant bad behavior confusing a lot of our politicians who are not always that informed or objective to beginning with. I would say that any efforts to promote awareness of DNotes is a good thing. There are always a lot of great investors who share our values who are customers of every exchange. We certainly appreciate your efforts and like to thank you for your support. I think that everything that has gone on in the last year has left me with serious trust issues. Not all day traders are self serving (otherwise I would have to call myself self serving). Not all exchanges are going to turn into Mintpals. If I really stop to think about it, the number of dishonest people (pump and dump, scam, etc.) is probably really small, it's just that they make the most noise, and illicit the biggest reactions. Maybe my new years motto should be "Innocent until proven guilty".  Chase, you are absolutely correct. The number of bad actors are most likely limited to a fairly small group. It is reasonable to give people the benefits of the doubt and regard them as "Innocent until proven guilty". We will continue to preach the positive message and be helpful when we can. |

DNotes can grow a lot faster by involving more people and partnership. However, I am constantly being reminded that it is better to put in more hours and not take the change of bringing in the wrong people into our camp. Slow and steady is still the better way to go. I am blessed to have our team strongly committed to "trust and integrity" as our sign post. It may take a little longer, but it is better do the right things that we all can be proud of. The Mintpal/Moolah deal is still hurtful. It does not surprise me that we are still buying back some of the DNotes they stole from us.They has been a number of dumps the last couple of weeks. Okay. Since this is only the 3rd day of the year, we can try some “what ifs”. I would even venture as far as sharing some of my “strategic visions” if you promise to be a good student and try to understand that “strategic visions” are not “strategic plans”. Let us stretch a little bit, and say the “strategic visions” are wishful thinking, to the extend, that if conditions are favorable it can quickly be converted into a strategic plan. My strategic visions are that one day DNotes will be traded on every major exchange, including a DNotes dedicated exchange supported by our own banks, or partner banks offering a whole array of financial services. Deposits in DNotesVault will have a collateral value. Using the blockchain and smart contract, the bank/s can approve a line of credit to any DNotes stakeholders, anywhere instantaneously without a “loan officer” as we know it today. I would rather seem the steady and structured growth and development instead of the copy/paste that is so prevailant in crypto! CR.I.S.P. for kids I love, but I am glad that futher crisp programs are not going to be a slap dash copy paste job. No rushes, just steady growth.
People in general have a problem with delayed gratification. There is often an instinctive preference to have it now and the more the better. May be, I can write a book on this subject one day, since this is one of the biggest problems confronting our industry. DNotes is mindful of the problem and specifically structured our strategic plans to avoid falling into the same trap. We often highlighted the importance of "trust and integrity" but you may recall that we have been stressing "long term" just as often. These fit well with DNotesVault and our family of CR.I.S.Ps. It is about delayed gratifications through savings for the long term. However, without trust, integrity and reliable appreciation the whole concept is far less attractive. When the vast majority of DNotes stakeholder believe in working together, not for instant gratification, but for their long term financial freedom as well as those they love; children and grand children; it contributes to stability of the currency. The more people believe that there is value, the more valuable it becomes. However, we do not just stop there. We must be able to add fundamental values to the currency as it continues to appreciate. It becomes a mutually beneficial commitment, when enough of us support that gaining new highs that is not sustainable is damaging to our stability and that new highs are of no added value to us since we are not cashing in. Interestingly enough, our commitment to stability is self re-enforcing. Traders are less likely to be successful in pumping DNotes to an artificially high level by buying high, with a plan to sell them for even more. They will discover that more people, including some of our good whales, will start selling to maintain stability once the price has exceeded fair value. Pump and dump, unsustainable spike in valuation, false and misleading claims are very damaging to our industry, and there is no relief in sight. They have already killed many coins and there will be many more causalities. So invest with caution and don't bet more than you can afford to loose. So we agreed. Managed growth, by taking our time to do things right is much more important than trying to do too many things quickly. |

Hi Marc, appreciate the enthusiasm for the DNotesVault programs. We don't have a set timeline, the CR.I.S.P. for Retirement program will be a while before we can launch and adequately promote the program. It will be an unstructured, self directed, savings plan for digital currency using the DNotesVault. CR.I.S.P. for Retirement will be one among a very large family of unstructured self directed savings plans. Many will be added by request. The first one is CR.I.S.P. for Kids and that is the brainchild of Chase who have worked tirelessly with us for months before it was officially launched. This can now be used as a model, more or less. Technically, a new CR.I.S.P. can be added quickly (hours or days). Our preference at this stage is not rush into it. It is very helpful if someone from our community will volunteer to spearhead a CR.I.S.P of their choice so that we can design, promote and support it properly. This is a good indication that many people are convinced that digital currency holds great potential but legitimate investment opportunities are hard to find. Hi Team, I just want to say awesome job for the end of the year and anyone else that has helped out! I bought in back in July and slowly been accumulating more. I gave 8500 Dnotes out for a Bday gift to my sisters husband back in November. He was happy to see to go up a lot. I just wanted to tell you guys that I've been continuing to reading up on the forums and I love how it looks like the wheels are starting to turn! I did try to convince my huge stock investor family about Dnotes, they think I'm absolutely crazy... I will say it is a missed opportunity for them now because they show no interest. Lets make it a good year and maybe I can convince more people! And Dyna at this rate if you keep it up, there will be a day were i would love to come out of Cali and shake your and your teams hands!

It has been a busy day and I was going skip making another post but being reminded that there is a very important observation I had wanted to point out and always forgot to. Thanks to mrbum805, I will this time. As some professional investors will tell you, “the trend is your friend,” in smart investing. Given sufficient time and consistency, trend line establishes a pattern of behavior that can be very helpful in predicting what is likely to happen in the foreseeable future. Together with other factors, and indicators one can arrive at an educated guess with a fairly high level of confidence of being correct. If you take a close look at the 360 day chart at CoinMarketCap or any of the exchange where DNotes is listed, it is accurate to say that long term investors like RJF and others who continue purchase DNotes for the long term, technically, never made a purchase at the wrong time or paid too much for it. Even in the less desirable case that a purchase was made at the height of a spike, the full value would be recovered at the next up trend. Second factor for consideration is the current price ($0.012, .12 cents or $12.00 per 1,000 DNotes) relative to other comparable coins, if any, whether it is under valued, fairly valued or over valued. Conservatively, based on everything you know about DNotes what is the likelihood of DNotes being a CoinMarketCap top 10s and what will the valuation be if that becomes a reality in the next 24 months. That should help potential decide fairly objectively whether this is too late to participate or still a ground floor investment opportunity. DNotes has consistently established higher highs and higher lows. Looks like this trend will continue for some time. Wish I can go on, but it’s been a long day. How did DNotes perform this year? From the top 50 on CoinMarketCap, there are 24 other currencies that have been around as long, or longer, than DNotes. I calculated how much your investment would be worth if $100 was put into any one of these coins on March 8, 2014 (the day DNotes was listed on CoinMarketcap). Here is what I found out: DNotes $2,497 BlackCoin 845 Pandacoin 211 Darkcoin 210 Ripple 163 Counterparty 114 ReddCoin 69 Bitcoin 50 The other 16 currencies are spread out between $5 and $48 and were so depressing to look at, I didn't want to list them!! I know that normally you would look at a much longer time frame before getting excited, but this is crypto and there isn't a long history yet. Plus, what a nice way to ring in the new year! I must say Dyna, i recognized myself in that "hundreds of others who stayed watchfully but quietly" part as i often see myself as a silent reader. Btw i must say DNotesVault is a great idea, especially the CR.I.S.P. for Kids. This may be the start of a Baby DNotes boom!
Does it mean that I need to slow down our P.R. and start saving for the Baby Dnotes boom? Our P.R. Company just informed me that they will now accept DNotes as payment. If I remember correctly from my marketing professor, this is called "pull marketing" verses "push marketing". I never did push them to accept DNotes. DNotes must have sold itself. That's is a good sign. We are here for the long term. If we build it correctly they will come. Happy New Year! |
