Right now, even if the whole cryptocurrency market is on a big dip or bearish mode, there is a resurgence of meme token projects all over. Just go to any free-to-join Telegram shilling groups and you can see what I mean. There are just too many and they are all promising the heavens including the stars and the planet therein to their prospective investors. They all want to bring us to the moon and beyond. Admittedly, I am supporting some of these new projects but am not anymore shelling out money from my pocket as I am now tired of scam type of a project and those who just failed or died a natural death. We have to be careful as 99% of these will just evaporate into the sky together with the money you invested on them. Be warned. Be wise.

...Decentralized applications are run from source code running on the blockchain network so these applications are not controlled by any individual or organization.
The "decentralized" in Dapps is quite misleading. You could interact with these applications without the need of a middle man but I wouldn't go as far as saying nobody can control them. I am pretty sure you've read about hacked DeFi platforms freezing activities like farming and staking pools. Yeah, I see what you mean. We are assuming that since Dapp is decentralized it can not be intruded or hacked but no the reality is so different based on many instances we already seen and even experienced for the past years. Well, this can be categorized under the "you can't have your cake and eat it too" thing. Anyway, am still hoping that there comes a time when we can really witness Ethereum and even Bitcoin for that matter fulfill their full potential.

This is a good review of Alpaca Finance. I have to admit that I am not fully into farming for the very reason that my first experience turned out to be a big dud leading me to conclude that I was just scammed. Now, I find your review here really refreshing in the sense that it comes from your own real-world experience and not from other people. The concern on security is a big and perennial one considering the many DeFi platforms that got hacked for the past many months which can jeopardize the funds of the investors. I am glad to see that the team of Alpaca is 100% serious on security or hacking threats as the network is growing. With more than a billion dollar TVL, I am sure that hackers are constantly looking at Alpaca as a target.

It must have been a sad day to you when you realized that for the past 1.5 years you hive been Bitcoin which is not there anymore. In most probability, you can be right in suspecting that someone close to you is the culprit. But how did that happen? I am sure you are keeping the private keys safe within your house...so in that case someone you are living with you can be the responsible. So maybe you can be a Sherlock this time and slowly unveil who can be the thief...and you can do it subtlety of course. Good luck and happy hunting.

Well, we are all hoping that a time travel machine can be made in our time so that we can go back to the time when Satoshi Nakamoto was still thinking deep on how to make Bitcoin a big reality and maybe try to befriend him so that he would be selling a million Bitcoin to you. Oh well, this would already be in the realm of fantasy because this will never happen. Okay, one can made into a movie and it would be good to watch what can be its ending. I am sure that Nakamoto won't be able to finish the making of Bitcoin if people from the future would be rushing to him inorder to get the freshest Bitcoin ever...straight from the oven.

I would not really say that Bitcoin is the most decentralized cryptocurrency because there are now some new platforms that have taken into accounts the many problems or challenges that Bitcoin got into and they incorporated those lessons into what they are offering...the problem is that most of these projects are having a hard time getting the audience and support they need. In other words, they are of no use, in reality. The thing is that when we talk about decentralized cryptocurrency, there is nothing that can beat Bitcoin for now. We don't know the future, of course. I am actually looking that there can be a time when improvements can be imposed on Bitcoin but as to when that can happen that is something beyond me.

Usually, those who hold for the long-term will be the winners, as proven in the past. However, we are dealing with realities of life here so there can be a time when we really need the money, and so we can be tempted to sell our coins. It happened to me years ago and I can still remember that mistake I made, but then again, that was a sacrifice I made for a purpose. I would not rather go with the idea that I would rather go hungry than sell my Bitcoin...actually there is no need to go hungry when you have Bitcoin because you can use it as a collateral to have a loan or just borrow something out of your Bitcoin and we already have those platforms dealing with this.

And that is big good news in the long-run. Once cryptocurrency including Bitcoin mining is out of China, at least the industry can be totally free from any FUDs coming from China. We will not any more be worrying and getting influenced by anything coming from China since the connection to cryptocurrency is not there anymore. So the question is: Will this be coming true soon, or China up to another kind of game in here?
