2541  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best investment place? Mining or Investing or Trading? on: June 17, 2015, 05:39:14 PM
Hey guys.

So lets say I have 40btc.
My aim is this... I want a 2nd income to pay off debts.

Where would be the best place to get some good returns?

I'm currently in Scrypt.cc and making 17.5btc per month.
This is a GREAT 2nd salary and goes towards my paying off debt.
BUT I am a bit worried and skeptical of them and want to move my 40btc elsewhere somewhere more safe.

I currently have 5x AntMiner S5's over at Hashnest but daily output is sooooo small.
I could put the 40btc in and buy another 25x S5's but that only nets me around 6btc per month without difficulty increases.

I have dabbled with trading (didn't go so well for me), I also have some bots like CAT (Cryptsy api), and Haasbot.
But I cant seem to get my trading right or for it to be profitable enough.

So that is why I'm coming to you guys.

Where would be a great place to put 40btc to earn me some good cash per week/month.

Both are risky, trading is *slightly* safer if you know what you are doing.  The best investment is to buy a sr member account and enter a sig campaign.   ROI is about 3-4 weeks for that.
2542  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there so few players at web-based bitcoin poker websites? on: June 17, 2015, 05:28:17 PM
Why are there so few players at web-based bitcoin poker websites?

Here are the number of people that are currently playing ring games:
1. nitrogensports.eu: 14 users now playing
2. betcoin.ag: 30 users now playing
3. luckyflop.eu: 1 user now playing

When I used to play at FullTilt and PokerStars (and PartyPoker many years ago), there would always be THOUSANDS of players. Don't those people still want to play?

Why don't these web-based bitcoin poker websites market their services more effectively?

Well, SWC always had a lot of players.   When they closed, about 12 BTC poker sites opened within a few weeks of each other.   There are too many sites currently and not enough players.  Some will close eventually, and the players will migrate to the remaining ones.
2543  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 1 BTC BONUS on: June 17, 2015, 07:15:03 AM
Very disappointed that I am unable to register due to being in one of the banned regions.    Hopefully, the laws will become  a bit more lax in the near future and I will be able to play.  Was there any specific event that occurred that made you decide to stop taking new customers in certain areas?
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 17, 2015, 07:10:18 AM
i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?

If you are looking for something to fix your life, gambling shouldn't be your first choice.   However, it shouldn't ruin it either.   There needs to be a healthy balance.   It;s similar to how some become alcoholics and some can just manage to drink only socially.

Cool site.  Very competitive house edge.   I wish you all the best of luck and will definitely play there the next time I have some disposable funds.  It's one of the lowest house edges I have seen recently.
2547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got BTC, Want PP $$ on: June 16, 2015, 06:50:51 PM
Hey guys,

Where can I sell my BTC for PP without getting scammed?

Be careful!   Make sure to use a trusted member who has a record of doing this.  That is your best bet.   Sttay off of Localbitcoins for PP transaction as well.   I have gotten scammed for PP from there a few times.
2548  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am leaving guys. :( on: June 16, 2015, 06:49:08 PM
Yeah, sometimes I have the same problem.  I wil be up but I get too greedy.   Especially on a winning streak.   Maybe bet smaller from now on.Losing a lot of money like that is a terrible feeling.   Your stomach drops and you feel like crap.   Best of luck to you.
2549  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io - Bitcoin Casino ★Dice & Horse Racing★ Secured by Moneypot.com on: June 16, 2015, 06:05:53 AM
The secured bets is a great touch as a somewhat new casino..  I found that it was near impossible to get people to trust a new site.   This definitely ease a lot of users initial fears.  Good work.

I won a decent amount playing poker.  It is probably over a few BTC at this point.  I try and focus on small gains and don't let my emotions get involved.  Once I am up 15-20% of my initial deposit, I withdraw.   Knowing when to quit plays a huge part in gambling wins.
2551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice on: June 16, 2015, 05:31:05 AM
Hello guys!

I'm owner of small shop that sell computers in Texas and i'm try to do online store that accept bitcoins. I want to do this site in clearnet and in Tor.
But i have some problem with Tor.

I want for every client personal bitcoin address he/she will deposit funds(In TOR version). How could i do it?
Is there someone who can advise something ?

Thanks!!!

Yeah, to give a decent answer, we need to know how payments are being processed.   Is it bitpay, coinbase, daemon, etc.
2552  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoins for BetOnline/Any Live Casino on: June 16, 2015, 04:39:36 AM
I have a couple of Bitcoins i want to trade for live currency on betonline or mostly any live online casino. For every $250 worth of online credit, i will pay 1 bitcoin Smiley Contact me if interested! 5166616797

Yeah, sounds fishy.   I would have offered if you had more than 1 post.   In case you are real, I will do so for you, but with escrow only.  Or, if that is your real area code, we can meet up locally.   PM me.
2553  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my Annual Genesis Mining report on: June 16, 2015, 04:18:57 AM
I purchased some hash at genesis a while ago because I liked the fact that they were one of the few sites that had proof of mining.    Unfortunately, it seems that actually having miners makes things less profitable for all involved(the nerve).     Hopefully they upgrade to some newer, more efficient hardware soon so I can buy from them again.
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: June 16, 2015, 04:15:36 AM
Wow, this is great.   This is the first I have heard of this site.  I am going to look into converting my BTC poker script to your platform.    This is a great idea and will definitely help build user trust for up and coming casinos.   Good job guys!
2555  Economy / Digital goods / Re: AllinCrypto.com - Bitcoin and Altcoin Poker Site For Sale on: June 16, 2015, 04:08:16 AM
Bump.   At this time I would be open to offers.   Please PM me if interested.   And of course, escrow is always accepted.  I will even pay the fee for the escrow.   There are a few other things included with the sale.   Will discuss all in a message.

2557  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: June 15, 2015, 05:59:55 AM
I think it would be really cool if you did more of a post apocalyptic style game if you do decide to expand in the future.   If I had to choose between skyrim and fallout, fallout wins every time.
2558  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin Doubling Script with 0.02btc PROMO on: June 15, 2015, 02:31:27 AM
thanks i will use in the futur

No you won't.  You have a 2 page thread where you are trying to sell a product that you do not have.   You have repeatedly dodged any questions about escrow.   If you actually didn't know what the term escrow meant, you could google it pretty easily.  Showing "local host" in the URL bar does not mean anything either.   You could have easily typed that after you loaded the page.
2559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can bitcoin be used in shops, if payments take so long to process? on: June 14, 2015, 06:20:36 AM
One thing I'm still not sure I understand about bitcoin's viability to work in real world stores - is how long it takes for payments to process.

How does this work from a store owner's perspective? How can you be sure you will get your money if someone walks in and offers to pay via bitcoin?

Would the customer not have to wait there with you until the transaction is confirmed to avoid the possibility of being scammed somehow?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

If a transaction has the appropriate fees attached, there is little risk.  However that does not mean that there is no risk.   Use you judgement.   If it's for more than a few dollars, I think most people won't mind waiting 10-20 minutes for a confirmation or two.

It's probably not recommended to advertise the fact that you ddos sites.   You could wind up with negative trust or worse.   It has been a huge plague in the BTC community lately.  Every time someone tries to start a legit BTC based business, they are being held ransom via ddos attacks.
