Looks like I caught an early break in what is assuredly a must-win game against wheelz.
What a mixture of conflicting emotions... Mainly I was pissed because I threw money at Arizona in-game to cover -3.5. WHICH THEY ALMOST FUCKING DID. Came down to the last play, my what a bungle. I had absolute confidence they would drive it to the red zone in 3-4 plays, and they did, and then the receiver just turned his head a second too late on the last pass. Fuck.
When I saw Murray on the ground after it was all over, I thought, "shit, now Murray's hurt too." Turns out he was just sad.
@ChiBitCTy in your opinion as a neutral observer, is there any reason to start Herbert over Mahomes on Sunday? I've kind of wondered about the future of Mahomes, seems that game could be one of those bizarre upsets no one saw coming, given the direction the Chiefs are heading.

What is this shit?
Well you're about to find out son cuz you've been SHITCOIN'd.
I have to be honest with everybody.
I was struck by a divine vision the other day.
I was eating a bowl of Cocoa Puffs pondering the future of Shitcoin as I usually do in the morning,
when it hit me:
the most brilliant crypto marketing plan ever conceived.
First, I distibute 8,888 SHITCOINs to 888 people.
And then...
"SHITCOIN TO A DOLLAR!"
👍👍
It comes to be through sheer will
with the help of this slogan.
I know, its brilliant, you don't have to tell me.
👍
That's not illegal to say, is it?

Too bad the New Wealthy Gentlemen Elite thread is closed.
Feels like bitcoiners (and some crypto people) are assuredly about to become the new financial overlords.
Not sure if you're ready, but its happening.

Please a friend of mine who bought and storedsome Doge coins in his personal wallet 4 years ago has been having a hard time accessing his wallet simply because he forgot his password.
Is there any way for him to recover the wallet and access his Doge coin?
If its an encrypted .dat file, the only way is to remember the password. Here's a short guide for tips on how to find the password: https://keychainx.medium.com/how-to-recover-doge-coin-wallet-711565ddd9d3I've never used the "btcrecover" utility but I can vouch for the developer of MultiDoge. Beware of scammers sending you PM, the time is ripe for that sort of thing.

Are the Cardinals really that much better than Packers as the bookmakers seem to imply? (-6.5 or so)
I'm tempted to bet on Packers.
Yeah they are better but I don't think they are THAT MUCH better, imo anyhow. This is the biggest game of the year thus far in my eyes... An undefeated team vs. a 6-1 team, both teams are 6-1 against the spread (yet somehow GB still remains negative points ATS overall due to their incredibly bad first game). On one hand, I think Arizona is designing plays to exploit GB's injuries, but on the other hand Rodgers has been playing with a grudge recently -- his searing focus and dominance of experience might be enough to navigate their way to a W. In my other league, which is a 12-team, I was fortunate enough to land Murray, Hopkins and Edmonds, so I gotta root for Arizona to win. At the same time I'm not sure they will do it by six points, especially if Rogers shows up with his determined face. Can't bet on this game... too many conflicts of interest.

Think I've read enough shitposts to beat the band... In order to bring down a whole dark market operation, you really would need a whole orchestra.

How do fbi or other government agencies get these people?
The story of Alexandre Cazes, AlphaBay admin back in the day, is a pretty good one, and similar to what took Ross Ulbricht down if memory serves: both used an email "at work" that could be tied to their IRL identities early on in their careers... for Cazes it was a reply-to address in a welcome email to new users (I think). Also, some market had a admin that was also a vendor. Law enforcement places drug orders from the vendor and slowly collects information to catch them, culminating with post office security footage showing the vendor shipping out orders. This has happened several times this year already. Oh, getting turned on by a caught co-admin who agrees to help the feds in exchange for a lesser sentence. That also sped Cazes' downfall.

This one is actually hilarious; the original text must have said "prize/reward pool", and the machine took the "pool" for its literal meaning: swimming pool
No person that knows spanish would make such a mistake, and even if I could go more in depth to explain why this is not done by a spanish speaking person, this particular pool one convinced it's impossible to manually do such a mistake...twice!
Yes, everybody knows "reward pool" is actually translated as "loteria de mierda." Sorry, that's all I actually had to contribute, other than saying this is a good initiative and I notice fake translations have been a problem for almost the entirety that I've been here. I prefer to try to get them banned for plagiarism, which might be easier than you think... These are very lazy people, after all.

Bitcointalk really needs two-factor auth at a minimum these days, and it looks appears it was a very savvy exploitation of previous PM messages to socially engineer a false transaction.
I'm not sure about that. Since the signature really does verify, it means minerjones was in possession of the XMR address in the message, and it appears the funds in question were sent to that address. We don't actually know what happened without MJ's input. Am I missing something?

I looked at eseayan's PM from minerjones and it is legitimate, and from the real minerjones. It matches what eseayan posted earlier. Here is the PM being verified: The scammer did not controlled my XMR wallet, because I sent about 200 XMR to escrow address from my CEX account, which is secure and protected by Google Authenticator. The escrow address is from the massage that escrow-man sent to me on August 28. Here is the massage: Hello- Happy to assist for the transaction. Amount: 196 XMR Donation: 1.96 XMR Total to send: 197.96 XMR Address: 45gtrfipMYeYZ9ZRRLN4XKG5q2tiT7HUdSvqn5LUs5V3WmHSnQYHpF6ReaY1U2uGJfMo6QpP5zmS1gT hEASRcHdx3KZkDK6 Once funds have been sent and confirmed, please use "reply to all" to let us know the txid of the payment. After this, items can be shipped to the buyer. When buyer receives items in good standing and reports back, I can release funds to the seller. Thank you, minerjones -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 August 28 2021 minerjones escrow between Rajubhusal and eseayan for the amount of 196 XMR using address 45gtrfipMYeYZ9ZRRLN4XKG5q2tiT7HUdSvqn5LUs5V3WmHSnQYHpF6ReaY1U2uGJfMo6QpP5zmS1gT hEASRcHdx3KZkDK6 in exchange for Lealana XMR silver coin set -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: Keybase OpenPGP v2.1.13 Comment: https://keybase.io/cryptowsBcBAABCgAGBQJhKhsKAAoJEIRUCAKscQ+OAscH/ijZxiI3i9nKXHbBRb46IgJJ eX4NzXc90zeKEFkAc5lNf1e+yIQYQIhyR+7ZYYQVVTzoifaXeVyvIhhLyd2ROy0w S21NpWxOPyh/FnZXnqi4cUn2ZO0wt8v1MyRRpPPXM9b/oEKAz0n8ZtOYmBfCRMYN z5r/r62hscWizx2d7b7kE+xRRq9zp+wTdm9jtKP114PE5Y9HBZf+iUbsH92j7ST4 74BPh4FURCEBDDLybcXmwCsS58wZOlrYdktwHGWnXRPz0UihF3lJeUeqEXxDBsCw 3U7ja3IB+buDSWFhh5Qako/XUDTb5aSt2pJP5Q53IBbhnZPJsNgs7WfoTU6Iug4= =svfC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- https://ibb.co/FqtTHvKHowever, since the contents are the same, the signed message still doesn't verify with minerjones' keybase. LoyceV and MoparMining feel free to double-check.

Thanks for your help. I agree to let a well-trusted member of the forum have access to my Bitcointalk account to verify the contents of the PM. You and MoparMiningLLC are both Legendary and have good reputation. I chose to trust you. You can both access. Please tell me how do it.
I just sent you a PM with instructions.

Can help me to verify how the scammer fake the massage that MJ sent to me? Is the XMR address under control of the scammer? Thanks.
You'd have to agree to let a well-trusted member of the forum have access to your Bitcointalk account to verify the contents of the PM. I could do this for you if you like, there's probably some others like LoyceV, or you could have a global mod do it, though it might take a while to get their attention.
|
|
|
I see that it appears minerjones really did send you the PM, however the signed message doesn't verify with the PGP key in his keybase. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FyByTVSk%2Fminerj1.png&t=664&c=CBDawSdDKfwRQQ) Did you attempt to verify the signature against keybase before sending the funds? Hard to know exactly what happened without input from MJ. Right now I have to assume yours is a faked screenshot.

Hey DOGE bros and shibes.. Some cool new stuff yall might want to pay attention to... [ANN] Dogeparty Reboot, Counterparty for the Dogecoin blockchain! (official) https://dogeparty.net/dogeparty-platform-announcementToday we are proud to announce the rebooting of the Dogeparty platform! Dogeparty is a smart contract built on top of the Dogecoin (DOGE) network for minting tokens and NFTs. It was initially launched in August/September 2014. Eddie's right you guys. This is worth checking out. Basically Dogeparty is bringing NFTs to DOGE through the magic of tokenization, by reviving an old protocol and building a new wallet for it. Seems like a no-brainer, just needs a developer team committed to sticking with wallet maintenance.

How would you feel about forming a partnership with Shitcoin 3.0? There's no reason why we have to be competitors, we can work together to distribute shitcoins to the masses, increasing awareness worldwide. Just think: combining the shitcoin collecting audience of BSC and DOGE, there's no limits on what can be accomplished.
