@leea-1334 A huge congratulations to you on the win for the weekly competition in the UFC!

A major accomplishment since you beat out us who have been following the sport for sometime and have come up with a strategy to make your mark in these predictions.
So good on you my friend!

Coming up this weekend we have UFC on ABC which I haven't seen but they are at their third event on the American station.

Good luck to us in the pool!

Max Verstappen has the driver with the lowest odds starting in a race at -200 from the sports reporters about 1 hour before the race starts. That is the lowest of any race this season for anyone to win. So from the sounds of it the bookies are in for another Red Bull win at the ring.

Here is link to view those odds:

Fights are about to begin for the night of the event for ESPN.
But it looks like we have a bout cancellation even before it starts.

Cynthia Calvillo vs. Nina Nunes is not going to happen due to non-covid related illness of one of the fighters.
Still this fight night is going to another one to watch!

Good luck to those who have bets on any of the bouts like I do.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: July 09, 2022, 10:29:41 PM
Just noticed a video on Adesanya's track to the champion titles that he received going from the form of kickboxing to top tier fighting MMA.
"Israel Adesanya And The Dark Side Of Becoming Champion | UFC Documentary" by Mixed Martial Academic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5xmBsM2d4o

This is his life story up until now and there is alot of footage shown of him getting knocked out by Pereira which we have all seen a millions times by now. But this film which was released three weeks or so ago shows his lifestyle back in home of Nigeria and how he had it easy as his family was in one of those gated off communities so he never really seen poverty.
Interesting little tidbits to gather of the current champ before his next fight.
Whomever that maybe.. Dana?!? Grin

The cars which the FIA see as needing changes are the Ferrari and Red bull. Due to an underneath plank.
Yeah just as it sounds, a piece of wood. An interesting video I watched about what they had underneath their cars seeing footage from their last race.

Austria has a sprint race so to determine who will take pole position in tomorrow's race.
Start time is in about 2.5-3 hours from now according to this website:

Ah I must of missed them because been checking to see if they were available approximately 5 hours after the match ended with Djokovic taking another win to his name and reaching the finals to face off with Kyrgios tomorrow.
Our last round of free spins.
Doubled up with that win yesterday after raking it up to 12.44ltc then putting it on two late games in the MLB.
To bring it up to 25ltc so it was a decent day for myself in the betting world.

MLB all-star break happening July 17-19th from what I recall watching the commercials during the matches I had bets on.
Think they had a multimaster challenge for the homerun derby and some other events happening for the week of July19th.
Hope they can do the same for this year.

Another losing pick, DRX had the better coordination and draft when it went to the third map, they were able to control the pace of the game and manage to get favorable team fights.

I think I'll keep to what I know and that has been in CS:Go.
So just put in a bet on the first match along with two more following for IEM for my day:
I didn't have any picks on the IEM matches earlier but I did watch some of the matches. Unexpected to see G2 go down 2-0 against Movistar Riders, I thought it'll go to a third map but Movistar Riders seem to have kept their momentum going from the play-ins. NiP is off to a good start as well after taking down Heroic 2-0 and I think their map pick went in favor of NiP as they have the better win rate on Ancient.
IEM seem to be very underdog tournament as Movistar riders are winning each and every single one of their matches when I decide to bet against them.
I think G2 dropped another one yesterday and Team Vitality are very disappointing to watch even when they do manage to scrap along a win.
But that is how CS GO is.. you win some then you lose the easiest matches on paper later.

Anyways, as you had said, Let's move on to the next challenge for the Stylebender!
And that is a showdown with Pereira and it should be scheduled before the summers end come September.
If Dana is greedy enough to squeeze in another hot card as he had done two times in a row thus far.
I was having this same conversation in the main MMA section and most people there think this fight is too soon for Pereira so if Dana is greedy he should also be prepared to upset people if he makes this happen though right?

I have not seen for myself all of the fighters or if they have others more 'deserving' than Pereira so I guess we just have to wait and see. So you mean it is not usual to have these types of fights so soon?
I was beginning to think about it in a similar way but after watching this video from a experienced MMA fighter and who has fought for Dana White before. He would know how the system works and what the UFC and Dana wants and that is fans in the seats and those PPV flowing in ASAP.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I5bPM__qHU

Some very good points made but there is a slim chance that Kazmat might fight one of these guys first.
It all depends on daddy warbucks does and if he is hurting from now til September.
Meaning which matchup would make him the most possible profit in the shortest amount of time.

Looks like there is a sprint race going on for this weekends race in the Austria.

Only just noticed since there wasn't a qualifying link yet but there is one for the sprint race that just popped up.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/formula-1/formula-1/grosser-preis-von-osterreich-2022-sprint/grosser-preis-von-osterreich-2022-sprint-62c330b943e8f312e4c1152a

Practice 2 is also looking like a Verstappen win according to the oddsmakers:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/formula-1/formula-1/grosser-preis-von-osterreich-2022-practice-2/grosser-preis-von-osterreich-2022-practice-2-62c82b59329a0a49c263cc2b

I've made my selections for the F1 Pool earlier today and have him as the outright winner if everything goes Red Bull's way.
They just love him in his team's home country and the bookies do too! Wink

Cheer up chaps because thanks to Djokovic we all win with a set of free spins!
Make the most out of it.

Novak winning today was a given but Norrie taking the 1st set wasn't and it was @5.00x for it to happen.
And no I wasn't so bold but I did win this betslip on his match:

Turned it into a approximately 51.5mbtc payout after doubling down on an 11 with 4mbtc bet. Then right after that took it through fixed float for the swap into btc from ltc.
Only $5.65 difference using float rate option. So it all worked out in the end after losing 33.3mbtc last night in a rage of black jack.

Looking forward to having a very nice weekend now with F1 and UFC both on!
Have some good wins and share your betslips if you do!
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: July 07, 2022, 10:56:25 AM
Yes submission is always a possibility as this is what grapplers are taught to be on the look out for so to end the match as early as possible.
Israel never let him get close enough to even try and Cannonier is all about those ground attacks.
He just kept him at a distance and landed points as you had stated. It was a one way contest in this respect.

I just read above and saw that your guy only submitted people twice, the last time 9 years ago, so I have to say calling him a submission machine is not quite right  Grin I mean of course it is always a possibility but I think in the case of Cannonier it was never realistic in a huge match against the title holder right? Hence 25x odds.

Anyway, points win, who cares, Israel does not. I am really looking forward to see next match but like everyone says pls Israel, fight more exciting?
If watching any of the training videos he had done you will see he wanted to grapple more in the his fighting style and after saying he will surprise Adesanya then you had to put two and two together.
But as you and the oddsmakers had proposed with a huge 25x on the option for a sub and even a highly unlikely scenario of him winning the bout against Israel, it was not likely to happen. But as with anything in the UFC..
ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
So never count out something not happening my friend.

Anyways, as you had said, Let's move on to the next challenge for the Stylebender!

Looking good for the League today guys. Keep up the nice predictions.

I think I'll keep to what I know and that has been in CS:Go.
So just put in a bet on the first match along with two more following for IEM for my day:

Will see how this pans out then put a bit on the next Imperial match later on in the tournament.
Have a feeling they will go far with their really good game play early on in the masters.

After watching the media day which is still going on for the rest of the fighters (there alot to talk about) I have changed my mind about Israel 100% winning this title fight on July 2.
After listening to what Jared had to say, and rewatching what he had done to Brunson at UFC 271 earlier this year. I would have to say Cannonier has a good shot at winning this bout.
Vegas has put Adesanya at 4 to 1 to beat him so they are already sold on him winning outright.
I have them on a parlay I had made and have this match not going the distance. Because Cannonier is a submission machine and if it goes to the ground it can be over very quickly for Israel.
So you are saying this will be all about Cannonier trying to get a submission victory,,, while Israel will do his best to just land points and take it to the end.
Makes a lot of sense but then this way I would say Israel has the advantage as he has plenty of time to run around and land points. Maybe even KO if Cannonier is too focused on the submission win.

Because Cannonier is a submission machine and if it goes to the ground it can be over very quickly for Israel.

I don’t know rdbase, most UFC fans I know think Israel is way too good of a striker for this to be very close.

Curious, how you see Cannonier as a submission machine, having only 2 in his career and the last one in 2013.  Add to the fact that Izzy never been submitted, ever, so I hope you grab those 25/1 odds if you think this is a possible outcome, bro.
Submissions can be done at anytime and he did say he wanted to try different things so yeah, it was possibly and no, I didn't take it by submission as the odds for him to win outright were good enough and rising by the time the match started inflating to a massive @5.20x and I did take him at that.

So we will see Adesanya vs Pereira, the question now is when.

Look at Israel lying on the canvas after fighting Alex.

source: https://talksport.com/sport/mma/977435/israel-adesanya-ko-alex-pereira-ufc-276-card/

Just LOOK AT HIM. You can decide if Israel will stand a chance against this guy as he is getting better and better after each and every fight he has had since reaching the UFC, bruvh!

Intel Extreme Masters is happening July 5-August 31st and just only noticed it with Imperial eSportsbet.io taking the stage earlier today in their matchups.
One win against Order and another lost in the play-in with Outsiders.

Djokovic versus Norrie does seem like a bye basically with what the oddsmakers have for him at 1.16x so really not worth it to put an outright bet on him for this match. Maybe for the -2.5 on sets is the play here.
But glad he is off to play someone who is not likely to go thru to the next round.
Nadal did exactly what Novak did in his match and that was comeback when it didn't look like he would.
The Kyrgios match against Rafa will be a beauty to watch.
On one hand you have a level headed veteran in the sports while on the other you have the most difficult player to judge on what is about to do next.
These two can not be furthest from polar opposites as they could get for this match.
