2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Dogecoin be by the year 2020? on: February 10, 2017, 11:53:58 AM
Has there been any new developments in Dogecoin? If the coin continues to evolve, I could see a price rise by 2020.

i am sorry but there is just no way that can happen!

no amount of development can save dogecoin from going down in price. and all the Doge supporters know this themselves too. that is why they always say 1 Doge = 1 Doge!

the amount of supply can never let the price go up, there is just too much dump taking place which is going to always be like a big pressure pushing down the price.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Choose a New cheap currency for All Users interested in Winning !! on: February 10, 2017, 11:47:38 AM
cheap coins are mostly cheap for a reason!
you can't find a coin with high volume, a large number of users invested in it and also some real adoption out in the real world have a cheap price.
and besides the cheap coins usually keep being cheap and getting cheaper everyday because there is always something wrong with them, either a bad design like having high mining reward and high supply or being copy paste.
2543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to blame for the increasing transaction fee? on: February 10, 2017, 11:42:53 AM
instead of trying to find someone to point the blaming finger at, i think it is best to try and find a solution for the problem and then when the solution were found we should try and find some way of enforcing that solution to take place instead of waiting around for years so that maybe miners accept it or not.
2544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best platform for day to day trading? on: February 08, 2017, 03:06:03 PM
I would choose Poloniex anytime , Its secure as most of the funds are stored in cold storage , It has the biggest trading volume If we exclude the Chinese exchanges , It's fast , and also have good design and a good support. I don't see a reason why I would choose another platform.
It is secured until it's hacked. What makes you think if they are hacked by the internal team or by random hackers, your money would still be safe ? IMHO,do not trust any trading sites with the money you can't afford to lose.
I think he's saying about only trading. not about storing funds in Poloniex. for the exchange purposes Poloniex is no doubt one of the most trusted platform.. but storing large amount of funds in exchange is not safe.

as a trader you will end up storing something on an exchange at some point. you never go in, trade, go out!
you go in, open an order, wait for it to be filled, it may take an hour or a week even and in all that time your money (bitcoin, fiat, altcoins) are on the exchange and there is no other way around that.
2545  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the usual PBOC bullshit routine. Uptrend continues. on: February 08, 2017, 03:00:07 PM
nothing can stop the uptrend of bitcoin price!
they can slow it down and make it reverse for a short time with a dip but in the end things always come back to normal and price continues rising because there is always a very strong demand for bitcoin.

and also many try so hard to show China bigger than they really are. yes they are big but not even half as big as they are shown to be.
2546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 08, 2017, 02:45:45 PM
Lisk is working on the sidechain concepts using the most popular language javascript. Every utilities (blockchain application) are running on the sidechain, independent from the mainchian.  It has great potential , which is worth looking at .

the statement you made about the programming language is such a debatable one! and you will find many programmers disagreeing with you.
and about Lisk i have to say i was very excited about the project in the beginning but how things changed specially about the price has always disappointed me a lot.
i still hope it can change though.
2547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: February 08, 2017, 02:40:22 PM
i still believe that best way of making bitcoin is starting a bitcoin related business. and that is best way only because most businesses that create with bitcoin are going to be new and unique, because there aren't that many good ones. we only see exchanges, gambling sites, mixers, and a couple of those gift card sites. but there are hundreds of other businesses that haven't yet started in bitcoin.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 07, 2017, 03:11:30 PM
when you are making an investment in general it doesn't matter much how much you invest, although it can not be a ridiculously too small amount such as $1.

but when you invest in a casino bankroll, things are still the same but with some differences. you have to check how much shares you are going to get with a small amount. if there are lots of investors and the casino has a big bankroll you wouldn't be making anything with some small amounts. and this amount differs from site to site.
2549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bter a scam? on: February 07, 2017, 02:56:20 PM
i didn't even think bter.com is still functioning Smiley
they stole 7700BTC (if i am not mistaken) and called it a hack, and they never gave their users amount that was stolen. i lost bitcoin there and they just gave a btc_t (or something the same name) which you couldn't touch.

if you look at the volume, and also the price of bitcoin which is $100 there you can realize they are dead.
2550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: February 07, 2017, 02:48:03 PM
this is a great idea and i believe that it can actually bring a lot of publicity to bitcoin if we start celebrating it every year.

i also vote for the birth day of bitcoin (the Genesis Block Day) to be bitcoin day, i think it is more appropriate than the pizza day.
2551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the next 1000%'er? Are the times of getting rich with an alt over? on: February 07, 2017, 02:42:01 PM
this now, or last week big pump, not ethereum or monero
but not popular coin and big surprice pascal coin and nexium coin very high incraese, special to pascal coin volume transaction is very high incraese too

the big rises such as the 1000% rises are always a surprise because there is no reason for them happening, and all of them without an exception are a big pump by a pumping group with so many newbies as their followers.
and it is always hard to detect these things before happening to get in fast before the pump too.
2552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: You have 10 seconds to post an altcoin that you think will go 100% in 3 months on: February 07, 2017, 02:34:09 PM
Let's play a game. Post an altcoin of your choice that you think can give at least 100% gains in the next 3 months. Post the website and bitcoin talk thread and a small description of why you think it will pump.

you are talking about an investment of money, so this is a serious matter not a game!
and you should never make decisions after 3 seconds. this is why there are too many newbies around losing money and then crying why market is like this!

in any case with a logical choice which took more thinking than 3 seconds, i choose bitcoin obviously for the safest bet as investment but not with 100% gain. and also the next choice will be litecoin because of the ssegwit activation on the way.
2553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh god, BTC might rise 25-50% within a month! on: February 07, 2017, 02:29:15 PM
the funny thing is that without this new it would not be probably increase to $1500, i mean the hype of this new is what will make bitcoin increase to that level not the news itself

i wanted to say the exact same thing here Cheesy
without news like this, nothing else has changed! so the way price goes up shouldn't change either. there are the same number of investors and the same number of new investors that are coming in because of the rise itself.
in other words if we are to see $1500 in a month there should either be a hype big enough to help a pump or have some real adoption with big news to see a rally.
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting sports betting on: February 05, 2017, 02:07:18 PM
I've never found any gambling or sports betting particulary interesting or addictive in any way. But I'm kind of interested on how does one get into sports betting? Do you find the sport you like or the sport with best odds and better options with higher chances of predicting? Also I was thinking of getting into e-sport betting, anyone else that's already into it?

then don't bet on sports.

because in my experience sports betting is one of those games that can not be played if you are not happy with the choices and have no information about the games, you will end up losing and then having a very bad time.

i am speaking from experience. after everyone saying sports betting is good, we all are intrigued to try it out but not all of us are sports fans so we fail.
2555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet Address and Payment doubt. on: February 05, 2017, 02:00:04 PM
I think you need a stable wallet address, or you need to have a new wallet address, because, you cannot trust your wallet address. Everything you have gone through, will also gone through, all your efforts exerted will lose. Better to have a new wallet address or new application or site for your wallet address

when it comes to matters of technical aspect please don't assume things and don't say what you "think" if you are not familiar with what is happening. right now you are giving false information.

the only reason why some wallets are generating new address for new transaction is to prevent address reuse which is a recommended technique from day one read about it here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address_reuse
2556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the amount of BTC required for a professional trade? on: February 05, 2017, 01:56:26 PM
In general, the minimum amount of BTC required to trade is said. It would be appropriate to start with an amount that a newcomer would not be worried about when he lost in trade.

What is the amount of BTC needed for a professional trade? How much is needed to get high profits.
To be able to trade some strategies need to be able to apply. What is the amount of BTC that can meet the strategies required for a high boiler?

the answer is the same that i always give to any other topics with different subject.
it doesn't matter you start or already trade and are a professional, there is no limit.
you can trade with 0.1BTC and consider it high or you can trade with 1000BTC and consider that high.
the only important factor to remember is to only invest what you can afford to lose.
for example if all your money in the world is 10BTC then you should never trade with 10BTC. instead do it with at least half of it.
2557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 05, 2017, 01:51:07 PM
Suprisingly, the price is holding just above 1000 for a few days now. The price is going sideways, going up for about 1025 and down to 1010. I hope this holds for a few more days then we can really say goodbye to 3 digits and start working up to 2000.

are you by any chance new to speculation and bitcoin price?
because you have two mistakes here.
first of all there is no surprise for bitcoin price staying above $1000, the surprise was staying below it before. and now after all that accumulation and downtime it is only logical to see $1000+

also what you are calling sideways is a normal fluctuation. which is a small range (for bitcoin it can be up to $50) where price goes up and down because of trades that are happening.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy MOON? on: February 05, 2017, 01:45:32 PM
I just saw the thread about MOON and that there are restarting this old coin with a new dev and there is no premining no ICO
Why is this coin so extremely cheap?
Looks like an solid coin.
Should i invest like 10€?

It is on bleutrade and I think I have to deposit bitcoin than exchange to doge and than buy some MOON.
This is another dead coin, their are only worth 1 satoshi/MOON in bleutrade

You don't know why this coin is extremely cheap? Here is from MOON's dev
Warning:
if you are new to Mooncoin, you have to know this fact:
some people are interested in dumping MOON.
They buy MOON at sub-satoshi markets e.g. for 0.13 Sat to sell at 1 Sat.
They are not interested in quick listing of MOON at big exchanges, because the lowest price which possible technically at these exchange is 1 Sat,
so they will not be able to buy it any longer for 0.13 Sat.
They are buying MOON from poor miners step-by-step (only 800-900 million are mined each month currently, oh so many you will say, no, it's only about $1000
and since March, 2017 there will be only ~500 million) miners sell/dump blindly for 0.13 Sat
and buyers keep in mind that they will be able to sell it for 1 Sat.
They consider it as a sure strategy, and it explains why they are interested in dumping and stagnation at the moment.
Miners just mine and dump, they don't realize there will be reward halving in March and other good news.
Mining is labor, don't sell your labor cheap! Do your research, don't be cheated.

the dev is full of it Cheesy
nobody is doing it, and it is not even possible to do what he is describing needs an open "buy" order at 1 satoshi but there are none. and there is already a huge "sell" wall at 1 satoshi which means if you buy moon at lower price and try to sell at 1 satoshi in bitcoin market you will end up going behind that huge sell wall in the queue!
and besides nobody is buying through that sell wall of 1 satoshi. you can check the volume, it is always too low and if there is anything there, that volume is someone selling the mining reward for 0.13 satoshi on doge market.
2559  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 05, 2017, 01:00:25 PM
some people around here either don't know what the word "free" means or their precious time is so cheap to them that they are willing to throw it away and waste it on things such as faucets and other tiny payment methods!
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games and features of a good gambling site? on: February 04, 2017, 03:26:07 PM
Hey!

I have been considering making some sort of bitcoin gambling game using MoneyPot. My friend is a developer, who has already made a barebones provably fair dice code. I'm asking all you gamblers, what are features, layouts, games or themes you would like to see on a gambling site? Maybe you would want to have some new kind of provably fair game, what would it be like? Think about some ideas and post them here, I'll be interested to hear!

as far as new games go, i have never liked any of them. but i am always open to see a bran new gambling game come to life and as long as it is interesting enough i will play it.

but if you want to make a gambling site, you can always go for the good old dice games. and no matter what game you choose the feature that i would love to see on it is promotions, whether it is giveaways, faucet, rainbots or simple raffles.
