Never go all in. I once went all in for 1.01x on BustaBit, and it insta-busted at 0.00x and I lost 0.1 BTC. From then on I stuck to the 5% rule and losses aren't that bad nowadays.
I've been playing on BustaBit for a while before. Whenever I go all in, it's either it goes instabust or it'll bust in a really low multiplier. Whales also do all in there. When they go for 1BTC bet, it just go instabust. There are some whales who were really lucky and made fortune out of going all in. Really? is there documented truth to this? i think he is just saying that there is a lot of cases whereby you bet more to hope you can make a big win, we end up losing as well. and that is what really happen to a lot of people who has martingale methods. That's true, martingale method is a very dangerous method especially when you use it in dice when the results is independent from the past results, you need to have a huge amount of money as bankroll to be successful. |

I guess gambling does have such properties, the same as other games. but gambling is probably the game that is challenging, so many people who returned to play even if it has been lost
one of the goals come to gamble is to suffer the loss.  I don't see gambling is challenging but it depends upon your interpretation with it. And I do believe also that gambling will just make you suffer for betting your money to it. Only those gambling site owners will always win there. yup the game is design in such a way that you are always in the disadvantage so you will likely to end up losing. Yeah even gamblers already knew that they are keep on hoping that they will get some bucks on gambling or they are just looking for the enjoyment that gambling could give to them. These gamblers who are hoping for profit in gambling does not know the real meaning of gambling, nobody will win in the gambling in the long run so we should only consider it as an entertainment. |

It depends on the current price and the type of living you have and also the place where you live at. But if im gonna ask I would say 200-500btc would make my living comfortable after retirement since im only living in asia.
Yeah i agree with you, i also live in asia. I think 200-500 bitcoins is enough for retire in 20 years. With that bitcoins you can do a business or make something and passive income on it. That is even more enough for me, I can live with 100 BTC for the rest of my life after 20 years if the price of 1BTC is going to be $100,000. Maybe I will live a luxurious life, just good for retirement. |

i have just been tranfered in my company to another position and it's hard now. i may think again and hope there will be a bitcoin way for me to escape this job. feel really tired.
People who are not satisfied with their jobs will prefer to get full time on bitcoin as bitcoin allows them to work on flexible hours but you really need to earn a descent amount in bitcoin to quit your job. that's exactly my problem, i don't have anyway to earn a descent amount in bitcoin, so it's quite risky to quit my job. i'm stuck with my job. people around me think that i'm in good position and i'm sure no one will stand on my side if i quit. they don't understand me and don't understand bitcoin. Then find a new day job that you like and will satisfy you. You don't have to be confined on a job that you don't like. Since bitcoin can't help you because you still do not have a good income in bitcoin, replace your day job with another day job. While doing that, do bitcoin and earn extra. Though small, it can still help in your expenses. it's really hard to find a job these days in my area. high competition rate, high unemployment, low economic. i usually fail in job interviews, even in the first round. I understand you because I have been in your situation so many times, as long as you don't surrender you can always find a job. While you don't have a job yet you can do some sideline here and earn. |

Electric car is new technology,and i'm pretty sure people create technology with good considerng about other resource,oil industry will create another tehcnology to keep going and stale on market,and so far electri car not yet mainstream in Asia and Africa. If electornic car will be widely use in the future then I can also see some great opportunity for the bitcoins to rise its value, as that time we will be going full on digital currency. |

I've made quite some posts and read even more threads. Which made me think about the combination of Bitcoin and Gambling.
Is it ok to gamble with bitcoin? Last year we've seen a lot of scams and 'hacks'. Fact is that most of them are either made up by the devs or done by scammers whom use bitcoin's anonimity.

I would love to see Kevin Love do more jump shots like he did way back in Minnesota, he was often > 40 points back then. Shall we consider this game a gift for toronto? They deserve the win because of their supportive fans, but game 4 is different, cavs will adjust and regroup again to beat the raptors in blowout. In my opinion, maybe the cavs are just letting this happen because they want to celebrate their win in the series at home. I thought so, game 4 will be different, cavs will win for sure and their shots will be falling again. Bad day for the cavs but the key to win in the series is consistency and cavs have that. |

Raptors did a great job winning this game and I got my winning at 3.4 odds moneyline for them. I should have been more confident with my bet . I thought that this could be impossible at the odds of 3.4 and yet I took a risk for only 0.001 and got 0.0034 back which is quite good however it could be better with higher bet

We are making future for bitcoin, now everybody trying to make money from it and don't care about it, that's why goverments of different countries thinks that bitcoin is using for illegal things.
Its an old theory about bitcoin because before its in news that some anonimous are using bitcoin as payment for buying illegal drugs.. These are certainly amateurs (or just undercover agents, lol). Serious drug dealers prefer cash and cash only. All bitcoin transactions are there in the blockchain open for everyone to scrutinize and analyze I can see drug dealers in the deepweb and they made a profit very well, they use bitcoins for the transactions and that made they very successful in the business, most of the users of bitcoins are into gambling or illegal transactions I guess. |

Quitting day job and completely depending upon bitcoin for living is like making our self into a big danger. In day job you get a reliable earning but with bitcoin your earning fluctuates upon the time you spend on different earning methods. Also if you start to depend upon bitcoin earning for living you won't get time to concentrate on anything else.

All in i tried in Dice game first i will use to put small amount only but when i am more and more confident about next play i will go head with ALL IN i won many times but mean while i loose everything in this. So once you tried ALL in any game if you won that means better don't try next game or that whole day it will not work out.
this is a gamble fallacy. cause even you are in luck or you are in a bad steak, the next game will not be affected by the previous result.
