Fair enough but i think mostly fans don't associate this "hunger" spirit with Hanuma Vihari because of his calm nature as he's not as reactive compare to his counterparts, he also play only one format (Test) which doesn't help his case as we're living in T-20 era where every aspect of cricket is on steroids.

Most probably in a longer run, he'll play Pujara's role in Indian team and should come at number 3 and this time i believe he should get a long rope and hope he succeed, if not then selectors can also try Shubham Gill on his place (if gill is not opening).

We can never and shouldn't compare batsman with the bowler. Both are different skillset, yes you can make valid argument that Ashwin-Jadeja are all-rounders but even with this analogy you have to look at, if they are batting all rounder or bowling all rounder (again its completely 2 different skills) For example Ben Stoke/Shakib are batting all rounder and Ashwin/Jaddu are bowling all rounder. Vihari on the other hand pure batsman who knows how to ball off spin, even our Vadapav Rohit and Koach can also bowl, so Vihari comparison with any bowler or all rounders doesn't make sense, hope this make sense?

If you want to judge Vihari then compare with him Pujara-Rahane-Iyer etc. IMHO his comparison should be with Pujara if we are going with like to like technique/mindset.

On nepotism issue.. Don't confuse favoritism with nepotism. There is virtually zero nepotism when selecting Indian team, yes on state level it exits (not much) but not in national level. Just look at some big names Rohan Gavaskar, Stuart Binny, Arjun tendulkar, you would understand everything.

If that's the case then I think Arteta is thinking of maybe change in formation in next season. We already have Odegaard perfect in central attacking midfielder position. Coutinho is great but last thing we want is to add another addition to the bench. Obviously Leipzig will want to try to do as best as they could. For a team that was that great last year, they will want to get to at least third place of course. Obviously there is a good chance that they could end up losing some points in the coming weeks but they will want to do their best to win this one for sure.

Doesn't mean that they will, but they will have a bit of a hard time in the future so whatever easier game they face, they need to get that three points to be at the top. Becoming third would mean both a lot of money (not that they need it with red bull money) but at the same time would mean getting better players for them as well.

It’s true that the last few years Manchester City have failed to win the Champions League but they have been close every time and I think this could be their year.
Guardiola is certainly very motivated to prove that he can win the Champions League without Messi and Barcelona and his team has probably learned a lot from previous failures and I think they are finally ready for the title.
As for the aging main players Real, Modric and Kroos, they certainly prove that age is not important but the quality of their games and performance on the field.

I agree and I was about to say the same. Liverpool will soon move up to 1st place in the table and have a chance to win the tournament. Yes Man City is the best team but yes Liverpool's constant performance is indicating they will raise the cup. Liverpool hardly needs a point and a win to move up whereas this was not the case two weeks ago. Man City has to play well and win Southampton on 20th to hold its 1st position firm.

Dortmund need to work on themselves as yesterday's game was not an impressive one tbh. Mainz are good but compared to Dortmund, they are no worthy rivals. Having a total of nine shots but none on target was not how coach Bo svennson envisaged the game to be but well, I feel they will do better in their next game with Arminia as they have only managed to win two out of five previous games.

Dan Lawrence played really well for his 91 runs. It was really bad luck for him to get out like that. The captain Joe Root did get his century. And at the end of the first day, judging by the position that England is in at the moment I think it will be good if they are going to put up a really big score against West Indies.

Hanuma Vihari is one of those players who have benefitted immensely from nepotism within the selection board. Look at his test record and you will be surprised to know that manytimes he was preferred instead of quality players such as Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja. That said, I am still perplexed by the stand taken by the BCCI. They are banning players from participating in franchise T20 leagues around the world (including those who haven't played any international cricket) and at the same time they have allowed these players in the DPL.

It will not be possible for Barcelona to beat Madrid easily because they are the team at the top today, Madrid have shown a good performance during this season started and it is natural for them to win so far.  Sevilla and other teams are still not able to catch up with Madrid.  If Barcelona finally manages to beat him then it is clear that this is a very good form of achievement for them.
