Ini bukan hal baru, gan. Dari pertengahan tahun 2018 hingga saat ini, saya hampir tidak menemukan ada token/koin ICO yang harganya melonjak naik ketika listing di exchanger. Tentu ini menjadi warning buat semua teman-teman yang ingin invest pada ICO, terutama yang berniat invest "short term". Tapi untuk jangka panjang, mungkin masih ada peluang untuk profit.
FYI, inilah salah satu alasan sepinya peminat ICO. Para investor melihat resiko yang terlalu tinggi untuk berinvestasi di ICO saat ini. Selain resiko scam dan proyek gagal berkembang, harga koin/tokennya pun anjlok di market.
Memang dari pertengahan tahun 2018 keadaan market juga yang kurang mendukung harga suatu token/koin langsung naik pada saat awal open market, kebanyakan pada down setelah masuk merket Tapi kalo yang berniat untuk invest " short term" saya rasa bisa mengikuti IEO saja di market besar seperti Binance dan Huobi karena harga token/koin pasti selalu naik pada awal trading dibuka |

I read few posts today and people keep talking about IEO losing price well here is my own thought
1)IEO projects from popular exchanges are safe and not scam and thats what matters most
2)just because its IEO don't expect quick profits ,they tend to drop in price and that doesn't mean they won't recover at least
What IEO fix is 'getting scammed' and not always profits for investors, thats why I keep telling people not to rely on exchanges only ,just because an IEO is from popular exchange you still need to do research on the project yourself to at least understand what they are introducing
I think we can expect a quick profit if the IEO is held in a big exchange and high hype, but we also have to be smart in looking for profits, sell directly when the trade is opened because usually the start of trading opens the price goes up I agree with you we cannot follow the IEO just by relying on exchanges, we also have to do our own research so we don't choose wrongly |

Well, if you want to put an Investment on IEO you need to find the best exchange first. I would suggest only invest in Binance IEO. Why? We all know that Binance is the most favoured exchange for majority people. It's a well-known and trusted exchange.
If you buy project's token from unpopular exchanges, you won't make any difference.

My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.
An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.
Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?
