2541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you really think about trading bots? on: December 27, 2022, 04:10:22 PM
I have seen it go further with the bots but setting it up is not easy task for non technical
population. In addition to that, you always need to keep changing the settings within bot for
various limits, stop-loss methodology and N-number of parameters to set up. I am not sure how
does it make it a bot if we are going to set up such things. These things can easily be done on
any exchanger, you have call-put options, time parameters, and the trade can go on its own.
Till date I have not seen anyone posting the pics about these bots in play. Kinda dope!

If you try to join trading groups, you will notice that some people are selling bots, flexing their profit from the trade using the bot, and demonstrating that they are profitable. These bots are usually paid one time or on a monthly basis, but the setup depends on the bot you are purchasing. For example, there are bots that have already been setup; you only need the installation setup, which is usually provided by the seller. But, once again, I am not a fan of using the bot, but those developers have impressed me with how they do it. Though doing trading manually is better for me,
2542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very thankful for what bitcoin has done for me. on: December 27, 2022, 03:11:35 PM
Bitcoin has brought so much more meaning into my life.

I'm sure many people had the same story as you. Years ago since the bitcoin project started, many people are using it so far and invested in it this helped some people to become independent and changed the life of many people.
Also, I saw many people who became rich by just investing in bitcoin, so yes bitcoin definitely change the lives of many people.
Bitcoin has not only changed the lives of many people, but the presence of bitcoin has also made people's lives easier when dealing with finance before bitcoin there were people who had to deal with banking when they wanted to take money or when they wanted to transfer it to other people, but after bitcoin came users can easily do it independently easily and we can do it anytime without involving other people in our finances because bitcoin gives complete freedom.

A lot of innovation in technology has taken place, which starts with Bitcoin and its blockchain technology. You've also seen it used as a payment method for others or to send money anywhere in the world because it has low fees and can be easily tracked. Though bitcoin has been used in some illegal transactions due to its anonymity, people are still looking for positive uses for it, such as as a profit-making investment, due to its volatility. Many people are able to purchase expensive items right now because they made a profit from bitcoin, and the same with I was able to purchase some items.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 27, 2022, 02:11:08 PM
-Snip

I tried googling whether there is a bot for Tekken. Yep, there are. The game supposes to be fun back in 2000, I was playing this game on PS.
Are casinos not able to recognize it when a user is using a bot to fight another player?

With Chess, a person who had been playing Chess even on the app will see how fast a bot will respond to every move you make. AI has it already pre-programmed whichever you chose to move.

Bots are everywhere, but those who have been playing for a long time can tell if their opponent is using a bot or cheaters. Devs are attempting to prevent the use of third-party software in games, but most hackers typically improve their bots each time the devs patch them. This is in all of the games, not just Tekken. This would be a huge problem if this was implemented in a casino, but I'm sure those game developers are already working to fix this cheating, and we still wouldn't see it integrated in the casino right now, but it would be in the future.
2544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Small Scale Businesses should accept Cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment on: December 27, 2022, 01:13:53 PM
Bitcoin’s volatility doesn’t scare me anymore as I prefer to accept stable coins as payments. It’s a good option to hedge from crypto volatility.
Indeed, in the end many people will think that coinstable is the best option to adopt as a mean of payment in an effort to avoid volatility. I don't think that's a problem because many adopters will also be more likely to convert to stablecoin or fiat, meaning they don't hold those bitcoins as a long-term investment.

After all if these adopters want to invest then of course they can use those stablecoin to buy bitcoins. I know some people will accept bitcoin and hold them long term, but others will convert them as quickly as possible to avoid volatility. Both ways are not a problem for me, it depends on the wishes of each adopter.

Those business owners will most likely convert it into their own fiat currency when they need to buy supplies for their business. We have seen a lot of threads here in the forum where people are already accepting bitcoin in their businesses, and they usually convert it immediately as they also need it to be fiat, but there are also others who want to hold it and keep it for future purposes or use it as a savings.

I don't have a business, but I am happy to see other businesses accept bitcoin as their payment method because it can raise awareness among other people, and for others that have an online business, it would be easy to receive payment (easy to set up compared to the usual method that needs documents).
2545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading With Borrowed Funds!!! on: December 27, 2022, 11:48:59 AM
It is true that some people have become rich through crypto trading in the recent times. But considering the high risk involved in trading, do you think it's proper/wise to trade with borrowed funds as your capital irrespective of your trading experience?

If it is okay with you to pay your loan on a monthly basis, even if your money just disappeared in a short period of time, and you haven't enjoyed spending it? If your answer is yes, then take a risk; if not, then you need to save some money so that you can use it in trading. It would be difficult to loan money when we are just using it for a risky investment like trading, as it could be easily lost. However, there are risk-taking people who do not have capital to trade; they usually borrow money, and sometimes they really know what they are doing, so it brought to them good results and having profits, whereas others who are just trading for hype and borrowed some money they will lose money in the long run.
2546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you intend to tell loved ones about the bear market? on: December 27, 2022, 10:33:54 AM
We are not that heavily reliant on cryptocurrency, so mostly we are not very affected by it. My wife and other close friends were aware that I was involved in crypto, but I never explained it to them; sometimes, on occasion, some of my friends will ask me, "You're probably rich now because you've been in crypto for so long," but I simply respond, "The market is down, so I've lost a lot of money," and laugh. My wife is mostly aware of the situation and will just ask why the price keeps falling, and I will just explain to her what is happening and she will just understand.
2547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you really think about trading bots? on: December 27, 2022, 09:37:23 AM
I am not an active trader and a trading bot user, but people need to know that trading bots are just a tool that still requires you to have an actual trading plan that you follow religiously.

I haven't tried a trading bot in cryptocurrency but I tried one in forex, and I really thought that they were both the same , it will execute a buy or sell order if most of its indicators are saying buy or low, e.g., MACD and RSI will say overbought or oversold, or Fibonacci hits the zone, etc. It is automating the process than waiting all the indicators. However, you must understand the fundamentals of trading. However, most sellers only include tutorials on how to set up and deposit to a specific platform and run the bot 24/7.

However, based on my experience with bots, I would say that it is risky because most bots require a large deposit in order to avoid being liquidated or having our accounts burned. Also, it depends on the trend; for example, there are bots that work well when the market is in an uptrend; however, the market can change at any time, and if it does, then you will lose your money.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 27, 2022, 08:24:09 AM
Hi guys, just interested what are your casino's of choice? Or just general online sites?
And what are your go-to games?
As you can see, there are so many casinos in this forum and you can randomly decide on which one to use if you take a click on the signature that most campaigners do wear. There are many threads on this forum that has a list of many casinos that gamblers or newbies can make us of without having problem of making a choice.
When you take care you will see that we have a numerous casino gambling here, is left for you to the side or to choose the gambling platform of casino that is preferable and suitable for you because it is because of the rules and regulation of gambling that push people out from it and also make people to like that particular gambling platform and another challenges is bonus when you give giving bonus in your platform it will attract many people
Bonuses sometimes turns as Bait for people to become a victim if the site is scammer so let us not fall from those traps mate, Bonuses are indeed good advantage for players but this is also a best advantage of site to lure people and make them play more and deposit higher because mostly there is a wagering obligation before this to happen.
try not to become one and decide depend on how the gambling site perform and not because they offers bonuses.

This is mostly the newly launched casino that has no ANN thread here, and their bonuses are too good to be true. like big bonuses other than the most reputable ones (I am not saying all of the newly launched casinos). It is always best to use reputable ones because you can be sure they are not scamming you, and there are still bonuses for new users. However, if you are extremely eager to register at a newly launched casino, read the reviews or wait a few days or weeks to see if there are already a lot of players from whom you can ask for an honest review.
2549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: December 27, 2022, 07:24:34 AM
Good for you and your business mate, yes you are actually helping people to understand what is bitcoin and what could bring to them but  your business is what will benefits big from this , I know Nigerian is one of the most promising country in your continent to use and adopt Bitcoin(and other cryptocurrency as well) so maybe in sooner time you'll gain popularity from this and may earn lot of support and payments from crypto users.

He can also take advantage of what has going on in the crypto market today because he can also hold the bitcoin payments until the price will rise again next year. It would be a great business for him since he might be one of the first doing it in their place. In this kind of implementation, you just need to be patient, and also you need to understand that people might also ask you some important questions regarding your new innovative payment.

Others would prefer to convert it directly to their own fiat because they need that money to add again to their capital as it needs to keep rolling, but there are also others that will be holding it for a short period of time when they need to buy supplies and will then use it. The majority of bitcoin adoption in business is to raise public awareness that you can pay with it, and if the owner's goal is truly to accumulate the bitcoin, he or she should be saving it to gain profit in the future.
2550  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 26, 2022, 03:30:09 PM
-snip

Although this is not complete, I really agree with you saying "having a large and passive income is called financial freedom". Passive income plays a major role in financial freedom. We'll feel secure all the time even when we are sick or don't feel like working sometimes. Unfortunately, most people don't have the privilege and only work for wages, barely making ends meet. I envy those people who are financial independent not because they can do nothing to live, but because they are free to choose what to do or not. My parents are among them but I am not.

We really need to work even if we are sick so that we can meet our needs. It is really sad for those people who are still working so that they have money to bring back to the house, and lucky for those who have some sort of leave credits that they can use when they need to rest. The same people like me, not going to work would really greatly affect my salary at the end of the month, so even if you are sick, you still need to go to work. Having passive income is great, but again, it would be difficult and you'd be going through a lot just to achieve this.
2551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 26, 2022, 02:13:32 PM
but the only issue I have with crypto is the security, data breach and co so I want to know if hiding my IP on a crypto gambling website is secure? I am going with a premium sub of express VPN. If you think otherwise please tell me.
It doesn't matter what VPN provider you use. If VPN usage is banned on the platform you play on, the type of VPN doesn't matter. It's just a matter of time before they find out or suspect that you are using multiple accounts if some other players connect to the same servers when gambling at the same casino.

So that's why I've seen my friends get banned before because they used a free VPN? My friends used VPN because it was blocked in our country (about 3 years ago, I believe) because they became addicted to playing those crash games, so they decided to use VPN to unblock it; they used OpenVPN at the time and also Psiphon3, which has a free server; their account was banned due to violating the TOS, and they contacted support, who said it was because they were using multiple accounts, but they insisted that they didn't and they have discussed that they are using VPN. So possibly using a VPN for free is not good, but how about the paid one? Since there are services offering VPN service that is fast because you are the only one using it?
2552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: December 26, 2022, 12:45:08 PM
The only reasonable investment is bitcoin, more so in the dips. But there is no logical reason to invest in altcoins and bag hold them for long term since they have no real potential. When all the altcoins get is pump and dumps, it is best to treat them as short term risky trades rather than long term investment you should buy and bag hold.
You are right, and second investment doesn't have a break, you can as well invest in any time you feel like investing, because i have noticed that Bitcoin investment it's something people do watch over and over before investing in Bitcoin, because of the bearish market, and another about it, is that altcoins is not a what you can invest on, because they is every tendency that your investment with altcoins can die on the way.

Unless you've invested in a top-5 altcoin, which is safer than new coins, but most new coins nowadays are going to die over a period of years due to no development or the developers leaving to start another coin. I just recalled that most of the new coins that have been going out will last for 2-3 years as the devs will not be abandoning it and they will really complete their roadmap so it will be a successful project, but now, mostly, they are just on half of their roadmap and will then be gone. I think it is because of a lack of funds or because they really want to scam people.

So my question is; does those who started trading on binary faces this same issues?
And if yes how much have you lost so far?
How long do you think to learn to be perfect in trading generally both binary options and spot trading or any other trading?

Please share as I almost fall victim of joining him but he lost made me to lost interest.
first of all, binary is not trading, it is gambling under the guise of trading.  i see the majority of binary players end up losing and even many of them fall into poverty because they are in debt due to being stuck with binary.  i used to be a binary player but i was lucky to be able to stop because I realized that the possibility of winning in binary was very small.  i'm sure your friend feels very suck because he borrowed money just to play binary but ended up with a painful defeat.

Binary isn't purely gambling; you also still need to use strategy to win since the time frame used there is in seconds, so you'll need to predict when the next candle will end. It is really stressful since you are doing gambling at that time. I've tried it before; you can make money from it, but only with luck; it's difficult to predict what the next candle pattern will be, and it's a guessing game; though I have online friends who prefer doing it because if you win, it's easy money and fast, it's not working for me, so I'd like day trading.
2554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: December 26, 2022, 09:06:45 AM
Losing bitcoin by mistake transaction to a wrong account
U can actually be refunded, but only when counter party knows the sender.which is infrequent

You lost it through your own fault, which means you can't get it back unless the recipient is very wholesome, in which case he or she will return it, but mostly not, so it was lost and gone forever in your wallet. That is why you should double check it before sending it, but my question is: why are you mistakenly sending it to the wrong address? Do you type or write the address and don't copy and paste it? or you just sent it while you were drunk? since it is difficult to send it to an address that you don't own.
2555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 26, 2022, 07:59:52 AM
It's getting better (crypto gambling) when compared to fiat gambling. Security issues are always a top priority to consider because they are important.
There are gambling sites that can be accessed without having to use a VPN. Instead of worrying about losing capital, it's better to just deposit if you want to play and withdraw everything when you win. It may seem complicated, but for me it's better.
but sometimes a gambler wants to bet on something new that exists on another platform. so we can't force someone to gamble there. the easier thing is to look at the ToS that has been provided by the gambling party, usually written there to allow or not to allow access using a VPN.
like I bet on several gambling platforms using VPN until today safe and no problem whatsoever. so you don't need to worry about losing funds if you read the ToS before deposit

That is why we need to read their TOS as well as their VPN regulations just to be safe because I've seen and noticed that when someone uses VPN, their account usually gets locked out, so it is better if we read it and also ask their chat support to get answers. But, since the pandemic, I've heard that most gambling websites are now okay with using VPN, unlike before, but they still make sure to allow it to avoid any problems.
2556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found a Bitcoin restaurant in my neighborhood on: December 26, 2022, 04:12:47 AM
Christmas has already passed. What happened to the dinner? It went well? Did you really teach her how to use Bitcoin? I think the stickers and decorations about bitcoin on the walls are from the local exchange or wallet since they are getting paid to put it there as an advertisement, but I am very shocked that they don't know how to transact it. Didn't they get curious about it? Will they try using it? I think they just really want to get paid for the advertisement and don't care what it is.
2557  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: December 26, 2022, 03:19:04 AM
So while having a good time with friends, family and loved ones during this festive season, please remember that January, with all its bills is around the corner.
That's true. After the holiday season, the reality will hit us with the bills that needed to settle. It's not a problem if you spend your money wisely. But we know many of us used to celebrate Christmas by buying new things, gifts for our loved ones and of course many food. I don't think it's wrong since this season is the time that families are gathering to bond, however let's be responsible not to spend beyond of what we can afford.

We can celebrate this holiday season without spending too much. Simple celebration with family will do it's just depends on us how to make it extra special.

As long as you have extra money to buy presents and celebrate the holidays, it is okay. This season only comes once a year, and we know that there are a lot of bonuses coming in for those workers. I myself find that once I receive my bonus, I usually pay off my debt, and if I still have extra money, that is when I buy presents to give and celebrate the holiday season. But again, we shouldn't spend more than the money that is coming in to us since we will celebrate the new year broke, and that isn't good.
2558  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: December 25, 2022, 02:28:32 PM
Doing business is what is more important to me because this will give me freedom to make more money than depending on employer to pay me small money that is less to my efforts that I am putting in his business. Doing business or having our own business is better than going for a job and later we might get sacked and forcing us to start afrensh again.
If you remember the risk of being fired when working for someone else or in someone else's company. Then opening your own business is a better option than working anywhere, because usually everyone who chooses to run their own business has definitely chosen a business that they really love and are also very good at. So it will be very difficult for him to get bored in doing business because what he is doing is part of the hobby that he is involved in every day.
Being your boss is the most comfortable job that you could ever have. It might have risks but you could handle and control everything on your own. You only have to be knowledgeable about the choice of a business that you'll have. If you have your own business, you don't have to deal with a toxic working job and rude bosses because nowadays, it's hard to find a job that could give you the best comfort that you need.

It will eliminate the toxic environment of people working in an office, you will not have to arrive at work at 8 a.m. and it will primarily break our cycle of working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All of this would be gone, and a new set of stressors would be coming when you had business. You'll be working anytime, even if you are at home, to improve your business. The majority of the toxicity would come from customers. Working in an office job is very different from having a business. Both are stressful, but you should select which stress you want to tackle.
2559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I feel guilty. on: December 25, 2022, 01:29:00 PM
He's just looking for someone to blame for his behaviour or vices. I am not saying it is your fault since it is his wrongdoing that put him in the situation where he is and you have nothing to do with it since it is his own action that led to that, like dropping out of school and being unemployed. Though you may have influenced him to become a smoker, but it is only the vices, not what happens in his life. I wouldn't be guilty if I were you, so I'll tell everyone on the bus that he is just lazy and want to sit around, smoke, and drink beer without taking care of his life.

It's Christmas 🎄 period, season of love and cares. Please Let's use this period to reach out to the less privileged and needy in the community. Pray for those in war and support them with Aids.

Merry Christmas! It is the best time of year to give gifts or food to those in need, especially these days. I know a lot of us have a lot of extra food right now; let's give it to those kids on the streets or people out there so they can eat some delicious foods instead of rotting them. Also, we can give any amount, no matter how small or large it is; it can be a big help to them. Let us donate what we can to those countries and people at war while also praying for their safety and the end of this war!
