If what you are talking about was true, then everyone would have been following the whale's moves and making profit off every trades. The whales would become small fries then. But in reality, question yourself, is that happening? No. So the assumption was false in the first place.

These "wet dream" type situations are fantasies and often used by scammers to steal your money. Be careful about giving someone your money or data in return of such fake picks.

You can buy coins and assets at this time. Don't think about shorting, shorting is always a short term gain condition. The economy will recover but there will be these problems.

There are hundreds of people wearing a same company's shirt, that does not mean that the same shirt company is going to be huge in future, it might grow, depreciate or liquidate.

Similarly, because someone is wearing a signature, it does not mean that the project is going to be good. Do your own research on it before joining that bounty, no less than an investor would. Because that time spent for the bounty campaign is same as the money spent by the investor who might get scammed by the shady coin.

Beyond this, I dont see how we can search out the real owner of the address, its not like people wear it around their neck or go around announcing everyone about their receiving address. Obviously everyone is paranoid of their holding so they would rather keep it secret in real life.

Point is that there is a market for such content. People dont want to wait for a few years after buying a chunk of bitcoin to see 100x gains. Rather they want 10000x gains from buying some shitcoins and that too with a capital of dust amount.

With that mentality of get-rich-quick-with-zero-investment, there has been an influx of many influencers trying to market a number of altcoin "picks" and some dudes in suits selling books on how to get rich without doing anything.

End product is a youth generation who do not want to work hard and sincerely to earn money. We all agree on one part, you need to work on your skills in daily life to be work-worthy and in trading to be profitable. But that is lacking today.

The one people profiting from this are the ones producing such content, however they sugar-coat it.

Patience is required in both sides. But the lack of patience in most traders is good for the rest of the traders. They will keep on profiting while the impatient group keeps losing money.

With my experience of being in crypto for the last 7years, Altcoins are like a Fad diet. They go up with some trendy news and then go back down before the bagholders can sell in profit and then go stagnant for the next several years till the developers abandon it or sell it off to some other shady company, only to be never heard of again. Agree, that some project have done really well but 99% of them ends up like this.

Just because something is in the news, does not mean it will be huge in future. Most of the traders here lack the technical knowledge on how to assess a project's future risk and outcome. That if done properly, you will see that any crypto based project will fail in front of its mainstream counterpart.

Even if you do, make sure you go for bitcoin paying campaigns. Altcoins are never going to pay you well in the long run. Those days when altcoins were going crazy was 7years ago.

Maybe not for the members of this forum but for new entrants who want to get into bitcoin but are being discouraged by the "Grey area" part of governments, a regulatory body may bring in more transparency regarding how the government accepts or rejects cryptocurrenices.

I feel this is a good thing, because with increased regulatory actions, more people will enter the market. This will grow the adoption and acceptance of crypto and therefore lead to a positive outlook for the rest of the world towards crypto.

Not sure why some users are using the pandemic as a source of narrative here. A pandemic is a type of a natural disaster, however you might to shift the blame, it is indeed a natural one and the inflation that followed was only expected to happen. But that does not mean that you should be stubborn and focus on only one type of asset, you need all types and in crypto only bitcoin.

If one coin is going up, it does not necessarily mean that th coin is good for the long term, but you might as well be looking for a quick gain. So depending on that decide if y mou want to diversify or divide assets into XRP or Solana.

Rather use them to get an idea of how the market works, then start paper trading for a duration of at least 6-12months. Only then you will get a proper approach on how to face the bear or bull market. People make articles everywhere on the internet, but they never give any fruitful information because they are no verified by any person or institution. We have people selling fake courses on the internet too, so be careful.

The best practical is by jumping into the action, here you can do that without risk if done on paper. Dont get into altcoins and their shills. Stay focused on bitcoin. In my last 6years of bitcoin, I have observed traders getting washed away by moving to altcoins, because of lack of "excitement" in bitcoin movements.

Bitcoin was founded to be alternative to fiat and give the power back to the people from the banking institutions. It was not created to stop inflation or control it. Supply of bitcoin being deflationary is a good thing, but that does not solve the inflation problem in fiat market. For doing that governments need to reduce printing of banknotes.

You can buy bitcoin when its price is low in fiat and hold that. Since bitcoin is deflationary, you are profiting during the selling phase.

I have observed that going at long ranges keeps one safe and profitable. Like if I bought at 35k and sold at 45k, I am at profit, but did this thought come to every other trader out there? Maybe no. Otherwise everyone would be profiting and we would not see threads that say the same.
