After a five-week break, Lyon finally won a match. Before this victory, they lost one match and got draws in all of their last four matches too. They were in need of a win and made it against Troyes today. Maybe it was a hard-fought win by 1-0 but Lyon still performed much bigger which was really important. Lyon are still struggling to climb to the upper positions in the standings. They are just far away from their effort in the past season. They should be happy even if they make it to the 5th position at the end of the season. They can at least join the ECL by doing it.

Real Madrid or Barcelona must spend 350 million euros (£292m) to sign Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, a figure that includes the 21-year-old's transfer fee, wages across a six-year deal and commissions paid to agent Mino Raiola and his father. Does it just seem to me that this is a huge amount of money for a still relatively young player who has not learned to play under great pressure of expectations? This is really interesting I think. If he is really going to cost that much to the teams interested in him despite having a favorable release clause, then there are not many teams which can afford him this summer. Because many teams have been having financial problems and only the rich ones have had the situation under control so far. Because of this, I think that Barcelona should already forget about him. But I can't say the same for the teams like PSG, Real Madrid and Manchester City. They would still be willing to pay that much money for him. |

The biggest match of the day is closing in now. It is of course Atalanta - Inter and I don't see Inter as the clear favourite team of the match this time. Because Atalanta have started to pull themselves together in the recent times. They destroyed Udinese by 6-2 away in their last match which was more than enough for them to improve their morale a great deal. They will be motivated to defeat Inter here for sure. I wonder what Inter will be able to do against a this much durable team this time. Atalanta can draw with them in the worst case.

Liverpool played so great that Brentford had really not much thing to do against them honestly. Brentford were just desperately trying to defend them somehow but Liverpool players broke their defense and scored the goal finally in the 44th minute. And after that, they were more comfortable against their opponent. After they scored their second goal, the third came in only eight minutes and finished their work. A 3-0 score must be very satisfying for them. Liverpool did a wonderful job while being deprived of Mane and Salah.

Another very big match at this weekend is Tottenham - Arsenal. Tottenham have been showing a more solid performance since Antonio Conte's arrival at the team. They are just not losing in the Premier League. And here in this match, Tottenham still have the advantage as they are playing a home match. But on the other hand, Arsenal are having an even better season than Tottenham now. But there is only a gap of two points between these teams too. It is hard to guess if one side would win but I'm thinking of betting on BTTS.
I am hearing that Arsenal have submitted a request to the Premier League to postpone their Game against Tottenham on Sunday. The request comes amid a bunch of absences for the in the team due to injuries, Covid-19, the Africa Cup of Nations and a red card to midfielder Granit Xhaka during Thursday's Carabao Cup clash with Liverpool; Thomas Partey (Afcon), Mohamed Elneny (Afcon), Martin Odegaard (illness) and Emile Smith Rowe (injury) are all absent as things stand, with Xhaka set for a three-game ban for his foul on Diogo Jota. But i am very sure that FA wont grant their request. Because games can’t be postponed because they, Arsenal have too many African players missing and have some injuries. Rules were made just a few weeks ago, and if 14 players are available you have to play. I also thought that it wouldn't be postponed but it really happened. I wonder whether there were really less players than fourteen. If they really accepted their request just because Arsenal submitted it, then the other teams wouldn't be so happy about this decision. Because it is not much different than favoring a club. I really wanted to watch this match as we were going to watch two teams which have been on the rise in the standings for weeks. But it looks like we will have to wait for a longer time. |

Juventus - Udinese match is starting now and I will be supporting Juventus to win this match. I have really appreciated their performance on the recent weeks. They seem like they are getting better for now but I still don't want to be so sure about it already now. Juventus are an unpredictable team in this season too. And they can start having a long-lasting bad form again some time later. But when it comes to this match, I believe that Juventus will be the side to win.

Found some transfer rumours today
- Inter aiming Juventus player Dybala and they very serious want him especially there is no agreement between Juventus and Dybala for the contract extended
- Juventus want Barcelona player Memphis Depay and seems this will be realized because Xavi allowed him to leave Barcelona
- Man Utd former player Nani has officially went to Serie A team Venezia
I think that Inter can find a better striker than Dybala. I don't mean that he is a bad player but he would have been better than this. Inter are a big and strong team now and they should be able to sign a top striker. And it is really interesting to hear that Depay is likely to leave Barcelona already now. It hasn't been much time since he joined Barcelona. He is a very qualified player actually but it looks like he doesn't have a place in Xavi's game plan now. |

It was a wonderful match week for Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Because they both had insane victories by 5-1 against Freiburg and 4-0 against Koln respectively. Dortmund hoped for Bayern Munich to stumble in the Koln match but the situation was completely the opposite.  Koln were having a good season but they still couldn't do anything against Bayern Munich like Freiburg were in the same condition also. But as the point difference is 6 now, Dortmund can still keep up with Bayern Munich as there are many matches left. |

I really liked to watch Fiorentina against Napoli today. Fiorentina really deserved to win and advance to the next stage from the beginning to the end of the match. Especially the extra time was even more awesome. Fiorentina were already playing superbly in the Serie A and they were surely a big threat to Napoli. And they showed how powerful they are here surely. Congrats on their huge 5-2 win.
Yes that's how this drama ends Fiorentina got rid of Napoli which was unexpected I don't know what made Fiorentina aggressive even though in Serie A Fiorentina were defeated by Torino 4-0 The defeat should have brought down the mentality of the Fiorentina players unfortunately no they are even on fire. Will Milan experience the same thing today? because they just conceded 1-0 for Genoa  Serie A surprises continue in Coppa. The Serie A is really full of surprises but it wasn't the night for Genoa. Giroud's goal which came in the 74th minute caused them to play the extra time. And in this time period, Milan were really determined to finish this by not letting the final result be decided by penalty shoot-outs. They scored two more goals and eliminated Genoa by 3-1. And Milan are going to have a matchup against Lazio or Udinese in the quarter finals. |

I wouldn't be so sure about Bayern Munich if I were you. Because Koln are one of the teams not to be underestimated these days. They have been on a really nice win streak recently. They won three weeks in a row and we see them at the 6th place being right behind Leverkusen now. Besides, I know also that Koln couldn't have defeated Bayern Munich home in the Bundesliga since February 5, 2011. They lost all of the matches from that day to this. Maybe Bayern Munich can benefit from this psychological superiority and beat them once more.

It is true that each side has some crucial players missing. I don't know if we will watch many goals but I think that Liverpool won't lose this match. There is a feeling in me like that this match will end in a 1-1 draw. Arsenal could resist them in these conditions.

We haven't seen any match to be played for three weeks in the Eredivisie. PSV are the current leader with 43 points and Ajax follow them right behind by one point. And Feyenoord are three points behind Ajax. And it seems like especially Ajax and Feyenoord have tough matches ahead. PSV have an easier opponent and I believe that they will beat Groningen. But if their closest followers lose points, there can be an opportunity for PSV to open the gap more.
