2561  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: June 06, 2021, 06:18:07 PM
I hope that what remains from Covid educated us and let's us improve our systems and decision making processes. As so often in the past there is a crisis but the situation returns to the status quo nevertheless even though we wish we would improve our world. We will all find out in not that many years from now.
very true because every incident there is always a lesson to be learned. because everything that has happened let it happen. most importantly we must be able to change the mindset and continue to adapt to technology as much as possible. The lesson for me is that I can stay longer in the forum and discuss, share knowledge, experiences and thoughts that will become the pioneers of the birth of an increasingly advanced digital era.
Yeah, it didn’t just advance us well into the future, it also advanced us well into problems, like seriously. A lot of people are always complaining about how things have gotten in a lot of areas. Okay I am not going to talk about the fact that lots of good people lost their jobs, but that one is not a big problem because I believe everyone is going to look for another way and also there are now so many remote jobs online, though it’s going to be really difficult to find a new job.

All that aside, the next problem now is the rate at which crime has gone up, it’s just like the cage was opened and they let out the dogs. The government everywhere should be doing what they can to put things under control.
2562  Economy / Economics / Re: The Winklevoss twins worth $3bn Each for buying Bitcoin @ $8 with confidence on: June 06, 2021, 05:41:30 PM
If I discovered bitcoin earlier like most of these people that came across it then, I am very sure that I would have invested in it without any delay, because the time I discovered bitcoin I never wasted anytime in investing in it. When I discovered bitcoin I was searching through Google, and I picked interest because to me it’s a really cool invention and I was ready to take the risk and also because I can use it for transactions.

My motivation didn’t come from anyone, but from myself, because it wasn’t even popular around me then. So I pushed for it. But it’s never too late for those that wishes to reach a level like this, because Bitcoin still has a long way to go and it’s going to reach there.
2563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC and ETH price are too high. Better invest in alt coins like ADA, DOT, MATIC on: June 06, 2021, 04:04:14 PM
I see the price of BTC is too high $39,000/BTC.  It takes very long for BTC to get $100,000.  ETH price is $2800/ETC and the ETH market cap is $330 million.  It takes a lot of money to double the price of ETH.  I see some alternative network like ADA, DOT, MATIC (Polygon), LINK having lower price.  It is easier to double money.  I missed the price of BTC at $1000 or ETH at $100.  I want to buy and DCA (Dollar Cost Average) for ADA at $1.75 in a couple months.  So later I can have 10,000 ADA and hopefully the price will be $100/ADA in a couple years then I will be a millionaire.  What do you think?  Thanks.
Yes you’re right about that, the coins with a large market cap can hardly double in price. Bitcoin is growing and someday it will reach a level where it will be as stable as assets like gold, and the increase and decrease in price will be way less than what they are at this time. It’s not going to be like before when people will invest just a little amount of money and cash out millions of after a few years.

This time around your investments are hardly going to be doubled, it will just be increase like 20% to 30%. Other ones like Carano (ADA),and Polkadot will have the possibilities for increasing more than 100% in some years to come.
2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT Trend Can Go For Long? on: June 06, 2021, 03:12:10 PM
NFT trend will die faster than the DeFi trend. It is simply a greed trend and worse than DeFi trend.
Yup, I have always had the same thought about NFT and you just described it the way I see it. It’s just like a trend that people are using to make money, most especially influencers are the ones that are cashing out with it. They will do something, every little thing they do, they will put it up for a cash grab and people will be paying for it.

Let’s hope that maybe as time goes it’s going to be a market that will benefit everyone, and not mostly those at the top. I think it can still be good if utilized properly, but for now it is still a new project, so let’s hope that it is going to be one that would last long.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 05, 2021, 04:38:24 PM
Hungary will be the first country in the world with Satoshi Nakamoto life-size bronze statue built in Budapest city 3rd disctrict, Graphisoft Park.
Wow, it’s a really nice thing. And I like the fact that there is no particular face for it, it’s just going to be a reflection of whoever looks at it, meaning that we are all Satoshi Nakamoto. Whenever I see or hear that word, it makes me strongly believe that Bitcoin is here to stay. As long as nobody owns, it was made for everybody, no one controls it, we all do.

Putting up a statue like this is going to also help convince a lot of people to invest in Bitcoin and the market will grow from there. Imagine people who will go for a sightseeing there and come across the statue. So this is a really good development.
2566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 05, 2021, 03:04:15 PM
Griezmann's inconsistency is a concern but regardless of this, he's very good whenever he is in good form. Whenever he isn't, France still has a backup of good players that would fit right in considering they're one of the best attacking teams in the Euro. I watched that game vs Wales, even though greizman scored a stunning goal, I can tell that he is still not at his top form. I don't think any team in the euro would be able to keep this France attack at bay but we'd have to wait to find out.
Griezman is no longer young and his time in France won't last more. This Euro and the next World Cup will be last big tournaments for him in his national team. Good luck to Griezman, France and Benzema as well. I hope Benzema will have a good and memorable return in France squad.
I believe France seems like a good possibility, plus after they qualify from the group stage they will not face Germany for a while, that is good reason as well, they have amazing players, they have Mbappe, and I believe they will do great this year as well, every year they always do great. England is seen way too good in many places but I do not see it, sure it is England and I am sure they are good but the reality is that I do not see them winning it, don't get me wrong they are good, they just do not look THAT good to me.

It is a cup in the end, there is elimination, we will watch each team have like max what 7-8 games? 3 in the group, 1 in last 16, then quarter finals and semi and finals, so basically anything could happen in that much of a short period of time, I would not be shocked if ANY team won, it is not really that weird because in that little amount of games any team could be very good.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 04, 2021, 07:25:37 PM
We still do not know how Inter will do next year neither, I mean they could literally sell just one player and get all the money back as well, just sell Lukaku and you are done. Unfortunately they are not planning on selling him but that would honestly be the best option for them in the end.

I believe no matter who is the manager, no matter who they end up selling, they are not going to be "that" bad, they may not win the league next year but a team doesn't need to win the league every year, hell Juventus won it so many times in a row and they eventually lost as well, every team could win the leauge and then not win the league, it is fine, you can't be the champions forever. I believe Inter will be decent, definitely top three team and that is good enough, and they do not need to fire anyone aside from just selling some players to cover the costs.
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the FUD starting to wear off? on: June 04, 2021, 06:45:47 AM
the same boring FUD comes in and scares the newest wave of recent buyers. It's cool if you bought within these recent few months, but stop fucking panic selling and wait for fuck sake. Don't like the current price, wait. Not giving you a good profit, wait. Fucking hold and wait.
Well, come to think of it, the price is still high even at this time. Yes I do know that the around $30k price we have right now is bad for some people, because it is less than the ATH price we have seen this year. But come to think of it, the market was less than this before the bull run suddenly kicked off and reached as high as it did and then dropped a bit below $40k, which is the current price.

I cannot tell when the price will go up, but it will go up for sure. As to whether it’s going to be anytime, that’s what I can’t tell you for sure because it even take months and possibly years we see another bull run that will lead the price to above the current rate.
2569  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: June 03, 2021, 07:21:32 PM
I am guessing that some admins on that chat have more information then others. But this wouldn't exclude out Pancakeswap as they could just use a bridge between the platforms.
If it's PCS, then sweet as.

TRC is still good though for low fees so either one is fine Smiley
That would be a bit weird, think about it if BFG was on pancakeswap that means not only you could make a profit from having BFG and earn from dividends, but you could put it in a pool or a LP and make a profit that way as well, that's some serious amount of profit to be made and I think it would be quite good to keep going that way.

I believe it is going to be quite fun to have these kinds of profits because we haven't seen a double profit anywhere before, we have seen either yield farms or dividends but we haven't had any that was at the same time. I do not know how they would do the technological part of it, looks to be something that would be a bit of a problem but I believe it will definitely be a game changer that will make the casino world spill into defi world and when you combine those two together we are going to end up with a good profit.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: June 03, 2021, 06:10:19 PM
It was inevitable to reach these levels of online gambling, I mean let's face it going to a casino is not something most of us can do, it is not available, in many nations where even sportsbooks and lottery is allowed, regular casinos are not allowed, many places are doing that, which means even though you can gamble in some ways in other ways you can't gamble; which is why online gambling always had that option of giving people the freedom to gamble like they can't in normal life.

However with staying at home becoming more and more popular during this period, we also have to consider the fact that which one would you prefer anyway? You have to dress up, drive, go to casino, spend money, have fun, then drive back home, and get comfortable again versus the fact that you can gamble in your pajamas at home, that was a valid option even before pandemic started.
2571  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: June 02, 2021, 04:16:46 PM
If we look at last 10 days, the prices of around 33k and the the rebound has generally happened and even crossed till 40k. So this give me cushion that prices can rebound well. So any fall like again btc is now at 35k gives me a chance to buy some and sell when it rises back as per my short term strategy. So I am happy with that as these momentum gives you money as well, if you are ready to invest in short period.
Honestly it has been over 36k more often than not in the past 10 days. Sure we had a bottom of 30k at some point but then everything corrected and we went as much as 40k and now we are at a bit over 34k which is understandable to be honest.

So yeah, things did went low very much but things are also doing better as well, it goes down but then goes up, those recoveries stand a lot longer than the falls, the moment it goes down there is a good recovery and goes up and when there is a recovery eventually it goes down again but for just a short period of time.

This is why I think it is quite good right now and there is nothing to worry about, things are still not that bad. I think buying now and selling later is a great method, it is down now and what do we always say? "buy low sell high" right? Well, it is low now and it is going to get higher again later so it is a good idea.
2572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons DogeCoin coin flip Bitcoin in the future on: June 02, 2021, 08:44:32 AM
Better technology transactions speed/fees.
That has existed ever since doge coins came into the market and one of the reasons doge was used by some users because it was cheap and relatively faster than bitcoins. Now a lot of coins like TRX solve the same problem at a better rate so this argument doesn't make sense. And excuse me, what technology you see behind dogecoins?

Backed by a dedicated billionare that he commits to his projects. Elon Musk is not a type of guy who start something and leave it on the dust.
Right but he never advised people to invest in dogecoins and while he supports dogecoins, doesn't mean he is committed to it, neither it's his own project. I feel like doge is more like a toy to him, once he is done it will go to the bin.
2573  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 02, 2021, 06:01:53 AM
I'm interested to see how other members of this community earn money online, either if it's a full income, or some extra pocket money. I used to trade a few months ago, when I was out of work due to Covid-19 restrictions. Likewise, I've stopped now because it was causing me anxiety, while at the same time having limited time due to being occupied with work.
I have a normal job too and I work from 9 to 5 from Monday to Saturday, and I also have an online that I am doing which is earning me more than what I am making from my daily job. But, I have not quit my job yet. I also invest in cryptocurrency. Working six days in a week from 9 to 5 can be really stressful, and also for the fact that I also have to get home and start working again, and that aside I also have to do other house work.

So, I am trying to raise enough and then start something else for myself, my own business where I wouldn't have to be stressing myself too much and have my own complete freedom. You can earn money online, there are lots of jobs you can do online and earn money.
2574  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price since 2021.05.31 in about 7 months on: June 02, 2021, 05:20:50 AM
i can't vote because they are all wrong.
Yeah, moreover our voting here is not going to have any effect on what the market is going to be in the future.
Of course it can be for fun and for the guessing game, but that's not going to be it. If you want to know the possibilities of the market moving to any particular direction then you will have to do your proper research and understand the market and where it will be heading to.

Analysis can really be of help for anyone that wants to understand the market, so you can make use of this method and you can use it to make a prediction, whether the price will go up or down.
2575  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: June 01, 2021, 12:43:39 PM
he does not completely control the market with his money, but he also controls the market by manipulating the minds of his followers. this person has nearly 60 million followers on twitter, certainly not a difficult thing for him to do that.
You could say he really can control everything and indeed it's not something that is impossible for Elon Musk,
because indeed Elon Musk is one of the richest people in the world,
with what he did there seemed to be a lot of people who hated him
Even the richest person in the world can't control "everything", he would eventually be ignored. Bitcoin (or in general crypto) is a market with over a trillion dollars marketcap, so whatever he can do himself it will not be enough to change the market too much, in a world where there are tens of billions of dollars per day in volume he doesn't have the power himself to make it go up or down. So, what does he have? How did he changed so much? His tweets, dude managed to tweet and gain a lot of attention to dogecoin and subsequently to bitcoin and other coins as well.

It means if he can tweet and convince others to change the price and buy or sell then he can do it, but if we ignore him then he can't do anything all by himself.
2576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 31, 2021, 06:27:09 PM
Online gambling and casinos site are strictly prohibited but kyc submit is very dangerous. I don't support kyc submission in casinos and gambling fund withdrawl. If it possible where gambling and casinos site fully valid.
See man I keep it clear and simple for myself. When I gamble at any casino, I usually play with significant amounts and since I trust them with my money, I also trust them with my identity if they ask me. I hardly fall for welcome offers and such lucrative deals because I want to gamble at a trusted casino and there is no way I will ever doubt them if they ask for my identity verification.

Cases may differ with different casino but my point is, if you are able to rely on one particular casino for your money then why not for your documents. It means if we choose right casino for our gambling purposes then we never need to worry for both of our money and documents. As simple as anything.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on Medieval MMA? on: May 31, 2021, 05:20:26 PM
There are different categories of fights: 1 vs 1, 5 vs 5, 21 vs 21 and I saw there is even 150 vs 150, which rely in different attributes like resistance, strength, strategy, leadership and so on.
This reminds me of betting with my friends when I am playing some MOBA games with my friends.
I often make small bets with them and they will bring their own team of 5 and I will bring my own, we battle and the winner takes the cake. I usually play games like PubgG and Mobile Legends for these but there are countless other games. It's quite a funny way of betting and brings more inspiration to the game.
2578  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: May 31, 2021, 04:22:58 PM
^^It is understandable to have "just in case KYC" rule, that is understandable for all the shady stuff people are doing, when they try many different scamming stuff then you ask for their KYC and that is the problem. However there are people who ask for stuff like scammers and double spenders and other stuff, casinos have to protect themselves so that is understandable. What I do not understand is the type of situation where KYC is a requirement even to start gambling and that is almost always bad, I try to never stay in those places.

Why would anyone who did nothing wrong get the KYC question even before gambling? That makes no sense, there should be no law regarding that and as we can see with plenty of casinos they do not ask for it, so the other ones that ask for it for "legal" reasons are lying for sure or they are running their business horribly. This place should be a great example for all others, they are doing it the right way.
2579  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 30, 2021, 06:47:41 PM
Until now I had seen that the BTC market behaves that way, because from 2014 to 2017 I saw that there was an accumulation stage, after 2018 to 2021, but we are not in the uptrend at all because due to the corrections we could be talking. about a sharp drop before a possible reaccumulation stage is generated, which is quite ingenious, in this market we have not had reaccumulation yet.

But since it can be said that the Accumulation stage usually lasts 3 years, it is likely that by the 4th year benefits will already be obtained, this is what also differs from the Stock Market, since in the Stock Market the important movements are usually every 8 to 10 years, this is why the BTC market is so superior to regret that it has no backing. For now I don't think that Elon Musk has the same market manipulation power anymore, I think that he doesn't have that power.
Accumulation stage probably doesn't happen for that long, because we see a ton of drop during those periods as well and you do not see a ton of drops during accumulation stage. What we call accumulation is when people buy small and insignificant amount not to increase the price too much but do it constantly, so if you buy 500k dollars worth of bitcoin for 100 days you have 50 million dollars worth of bitcoin, do that for 300 days and you got yourself 150 million dollars worth of bitcoin (obviously price would change during that period as well).

This means price wouldn't crash all that much, but it wouldn't increase all that much, we have accumulators who keeps the price not too low but not too high. I believe we have one crash, one recovery, one accumulation, one profit cycle and it happens back to back as well, that's why I think we will have crash next trend, no idea when it will happen.
2580  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 30, 2021, 04:33:35 PM
now, people forced to online when they want to do something like buy, and the other. and as time go by, people get to used it, doing all stuff by online. and when covid disappear, this habitual still stick in our mind.
Have you wondered why such habits stick while some habits like staying at home won't ever stick? That's because people want convenience and online shopping was new for some initially but once they tried it, surely everyone realized that it is easier and saves time as compared to traditional shopping.

Just look at what has been happening in lots of countries these days. It’s just like where I am living, there are now lots of thieves and people are being robbed almost every day, things never used to be like this before now. So, this covid-19 is really bad, but I am hoping that things gets better.
That's the impact of unemployment and have you wondered why unemployment is much worse in under-developed countries? That's because of their lack of the use of the internet and technology, be it because of financial problems or be it because they are not educated enough to operate them.

If only better technologies and the internet were adopted, lesser people would have lost their jobs and hence lesser unemployment which directly helps in reducing crime and theft.
