2561  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 06, 2022, 06:27:38 AM
I think that what an adult person will be like depends entirely on his upbringing. You should not ruin the plans of the child by saying that he is poor and will remain poor because his whole family has been poor for centuries. Everything should be an example; if a child from an early age sees how their parents are constantly learning something, this will be a motivation for development. The habit of learning, even after reaching a certain skill level, must be constantly present in life.
I have a simple example. My grandfather is a doctor on a sports team. Despite the fact that he has a very large amount of experience and work experience (more than 35 years), he does not stop at his own qualifications. And it is precise because he has modern knowledge that he still remains in demand at a time when many other doctors younger than him were laid off when the organization could not keep more staff.

I remember all your steps. How noisily you tried to talk about yourself, and the fifth topic, made me smile. But I understood one thing: people are different, everyone has different views, someone appears very carefully, and someone wants to tell the whole world about himself, and this is normal.
What matters is where it all leads. You have proven this by reaching your rank. Beginners can really learn from the examples of those who somehow achieved their goals. Unfortunately, in our time, many of those who are initially actively involved in the life of the forum add up their enthusiasm at the slightest failure or criticism
2563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 05, 2022, 07:39:28 AM
OP, I looked at your profile. You signed up in 2017. And also, then you asked whether it is possible to get 1 bitcoin without mining.
I think you've missed your opportunity a bit. After all, if you had been buying a little bit of bitcoin since 2017, and had been patient, you would now say otherwise.
But there are a lot of people like you. Therefore, without waiting "several thousand years," you still have the opportunity to become the owner of Bitcoin. Just be a little optimistic in your predictions.
2564  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's alright to lose and learn on: October 04, 2022, 07:20:44 AM
There is a good saying that says that the one who does nothing makes no mistakes.
And accordingly, such a person will not have anything that could make his life better. It is only through mistakes that we acquire a thick skin called experience.
It can even be said that if you do not give up after some losses, then you will definitely have a white streak ahead. A lot of people are disappointed in bitcoin, and only those who have a core of life, as a result, find success.
2565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a seed phrase precisely, and why is it significant? on: October 04, 2022, 07:06:37 AM
OP, maybe it's translation difficulties, but so many people have corrected you above, which suggests that you cannot fully understand the topic that you decided to explain to beginners.
I'm curious, if your topic is telling everyone on the radio about the benefits of Bitcoin, can it contain the right conclusions if you clearly show that you are not yet fully versed in some things?
Maybe you should not hurry with such information?
2566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I secluded to beginners board only for now? on: October 04, 2022, 06:45:42 AM
Your first post is in the Gambling Discussion Thread. Also, I don't see any of your deleted posts. Why do you ask such stupid questions, then? I don't see the need to create the thread you created, as it's worth trying first and asking later. Registration is in May, and you still don't know where to go or if you need to write. Pretty strange behavior.
If you are asking about the opportunity to write on a topic for beginners, then such questions, if they continue, are unlikely to give you a reputation. It is necessary to be independent; the forum is not a kindergarten.
2567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privilege to teach Bitcoin in church on: October 03, 2022, 07:35:58 AM
so I don't know if you're the one having a piracy to the topic to phish for merits or same person indulging under a covering, if you must teach bitcoin, go to the street, neighborhood, market, companies and organizations and introduce bitcoin to them, lastly make use of the search button to check for related topics being already discussed

I can't call it a merit hunt. Before you judge, you need to think about what you are doing to attract people to Bitcoin.  Huh Angry

OP, I read your threads, and I'm really surprised by your efforts and your concern. I understand that an hour of talking about bitcoins is a drop in the ocean, but your passion and desire to help people deserve respect. I am generally interested in the culture of your people. It is completely different from the culture in which I live. Very few people worry about how their neighbors live. I see that you are doing this selflessly, and I really hope that you will help a few more people get interested in Bitcoin.
And of course, we all really hope that you will warn all those interested in investing that it is not worth risking funds at such an uncertain time without having enough cushion in life.
My respect.

5. Regularly change your password every month.

I have looked at your profile. You are not acting on your own advice Smiley. Or do you suggest changing the password in the mail every month? I think it's too vain.
If my password consists of 15-20 or more characters, including all characters and letters in different cases, the probability of cracking the password is reduced to nothing. Another thing is how I store this password. This is more important.
Also on topic, OP, there's a thread where Lafu catches all sorts of malware on the forum. You can just read it and see how accounts can be hacked. In addition, you will learn a good lesson: you should not trust the promises of profit and follow different links.

2569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper can easily get ruined, fast. on: October 03, 2022, 05:56:49 AM

Memorizing the seed phrase will be okay if the person is really good in memorization.
For the seed being placed on any devices/documents/websites, I think it will be good to encrypt it rather than just putting the exact same words. Still both of these will not work for everyone, so I think people should stick on how can they properly manage to store their seeds.

One day, a piece of some heavy substance that falls on the head, or an accidental but strong enough blow to the head, completely knocks out all the information about seed phrases and, in general, about one's own name. As a result, relying on one's own strength is such an occupation.
It has already been advised many times how to save your seed phrases. I think you should not invent a bicycle. Special paranoid agents can be advised to use all the methods at once in case of any catastrophe, including an alien attack.

Sandra 👩‍🦱

Is there gender on the Internet? Here on the forum, we can be anyone. Now in the world, there is not only a man and a woman but something in between Grin. So I don't think it matters. Even if you claim to be female, there will be those who won't believe you, so don't bother.
I also want to congratulate you. You really have a bright personality with this nickname and a peculiar speech. The fact that you are not a beginner, I think many people understand, but life is a theater, and we are actors. You are doing great. Keep going.
Best wishes to you.
2571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 02, 2022, 08:45:21 AM
If you have a weak heart, you probably shouldn't associate your activities with Bitcoin. But if the pull is still great but there is no experience and no desire to keep up to the price you need, write a will in which you accuse bitcoin of regularly ruining you.  Grin
But seriously, there is a rule for buying and selling bitcoin, and if you do not have enough livelihood to invest in bitcoin, it is probably not for you.
Just don't bother. Bitcoin will only make you richer if you have a good investment and a good time to wait, but in this day and age, that is no guarantee either.
2572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 02, 2022, 08:35:03 AM
OP, you are saying banal things. I don't see a single spark of novelty that I haven't heard before. The fact that someday bitcoin will grow, or that it falls from time to time, happens regularly; your words are just a repetition of the mantra. The problem is that none of the predictors like you will tell you exactly the time and date of growth.
Your post looks like fishing based on the posts you posted earlier, but again, it doesn't deserve merit.
Do your best.
2573  Other / Meta / Re: Why forum search taking years to load on: October 02, 2022, 07:51:40 AM
Maybe you should think that the forum search is not designed to search for such simple words? How many responses did you expect to receive in response to your request, given that the address "sir" is quite normal and natural in many countries? And also, how many bounty hunters, especially from Asia and maybe Nigeria, are present at the forum every year?
In exactly the same way, one could query for words like "yes" and "no."
For me, the search works fine. Maybe you just need to understand the possibilities of the forum and not compare it with global search engines.

Dear Binancian,

Binance has completed the BUSD Auto-Conversion for users’ existing balances of USDC, USDP and TUSD stablecoins into . New deposits of USDC, USDP and TUSD stablecoins will be converted into BUSD at a 1:1 ratio, and users will be able to trade with a consolidated BUSD balance on the Binance platform that reflects their balances of these four stablecoins (BUSD, USDC, USDP and TUSD) post conversion.

This will not affect users' choice of withdrawal: users will continue to be able to withdraw funds in USDC, USDP and TUSD at a 1:1 ratio to their BUSD denominated account balance.

2576  Economy / Economics / Re: Scientists say food insecurity drove international conflict 2000 years ago on: October 01, 2022, 01:09:39 PM
I suppose anything is possible but consider how much food is gone to waste every single year, and that in developed countries there's hundreds of thousands of deaths associated with overconsumption (obesity) ranging from heart disease to hypertension to diabetes. You couldn't even begin to list the adverse effects of having too much food around.

That's right, diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. But where do these diseases come from? Anyone who has asked this question will not argue that they appear after eating a large amount of food. But the quality of this food—trans fats, GMOs, and other garbage that is filled with our food in order to increase its quantity—plays a huge role. How many of those present here eat right? I can bet no This means that all this leads to diseases, not only in the current generation but also in the future.
Will there be wars for lack of food? What for? Competitors will simply poison people with various filth, which will be called "food"
And only a few will survive, because in our time, using natural products that have a positive effect on health is very expensive.
2577  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your information Diet on: October 01, 2022, 12:41:52 PM
Today is the time of the Internet, and the news and information background are very extensive. But, I think, for any average person who understands the whole essence of the Internet, it becomes clear that to believe or not trust just one source is a thankless task.
To understand all the news, if it becomes necessary for us, it is needed to start not only from social networks, which, as you know, bring a lot of noise, but to turn to official sources, preferably several. It is better to hear the opinion of several experts voicing their points of view, and then draw your conclusion. This, I think, will contain the correct informational diet.
2578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on how to keep your Bitcointalk forum account safe. on: October 01, 2022, 07:58:23 AM

Maybe users can also make use of the "Secret Question" feature which might help you recover the account if it's stolen, though it is mentioned that this is not recommended since it also kind of acts like a second password, I still think that it is fine as long as you create an answer which someone should not be able to guess easily. (was there any history here where a user successfully retrieved the account using this feature?). Probably, in relation to forum security, signed message really will help recovering the account.

There was a good story on the vulnerability of security questions. Whoever has the question is practically exposing himself to the possibility of being hacked. If a hacker is puzzled by such a problem, I think by the method of selection, he could do it.
Welsh explained everything well, but for better understanding, I think there will be a few topics of interest that should change their attitude towards setting a security question.

2579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Now I know why offline is very important with crypto wallet seeds on: October 01, 2022, 06:57:55 AM
If your device is compromised or your keyboard compromised then hackers definitely can record what are you typing. Nothing new in the crypto space. So yea, you should shut off your Internet connection when doing something important with your wallet if applicable. If I can recall correctly some non-custodial wallet doesn't require typing your seed. They give the option to select step by step. So once you write it down you can select it properly. Here might be you safe unless a hacker controls your device. Hardware wallets are pretty safe for us who are often storing cryptocurrency.

Turning off the Internet for a while, in order to enter a seed phrase or password, is just complacency for the user. If the keylogger is already on the victim's computer, then it can collect all the information, regardless of the Internet, and then, when the network appears, simply send it to the desired address.
It would be more important to minimize the use of the computer on which such operations are carried out and be sure that the system is completely clean, that is, it has a license and does not have any extraneous programs.
2580  Other / Meta / Re: How to get a Rank promoted Can? on: October 01, 2022, 06:23:55 AM
The first thing to do is browse the forum. Your question is discussed every other day. How did you find the "META" section? The next step is to click slowly on different sections of the forum, read the rules, and try to use the search.

Another interesting question, why do you need a high rank?
