2561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is investing more than you can afford to lose inevitable? on: June 17, 2022, 09:57:16 PM
I don't feel that way. When I want to invest in high-risk asset , I firstly put some money aside for this. I would never forget about my investment plan and my goals. I'm a firm believer in setting realistic goals for myself. That way I'm sure I won't invest more than I can afford to lose.

According to a tweet from @FabrizioRomano, Fiorentina and Real Madrid are in direct negotiations for Luka Jovic on a loan deal. It seems that the Serbian striker will have another chance to convince Real to keep him. The Italian club wants Real to pay some of Jovic's salary.

But if a company decides to manipulate their working mechanism, with small time reviews may reveal it and that would be the end for such a brand.

It is simply not possible for a provably fair site to manipulate the results of rolls, if that's what you mean. It's a simple fact. You need to show evidence that they've tampered with the rolls.
2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 months low, no better time than now. on: June 17, 2022, 09:31:02 PM
One of the most important things is that bitcoin is a very volatile asset, there is risk and there is also potential, but because this market is free then anything can happen as long as they consider it the best way to make a profit.

Some experts say that there is a silver lining to Bitcoin's volatility. While it can be scary and frustrating, it forces us to keep an even-keeled approach. That, at the end of the day, can be beneficial. Especially if you are looking to build a portfolio for long-term growth.
2565  Other / Meta / Re: Would you be interested in a telegram bot that notifies you about btctalk forum? on: June 17, 2022, 09:20:15 PM
Why not try something new, such as a Trust list notification? I'd like to be notified when someone adds or removes me from their trust list!

Receiving notifications from a specific group of users, such as I enjoy having a good discussion with some users on the gambling board. Is there a way for someone to add such usernames to your bot and receive notifications whenever such users post on the gambling board? Can we get such bot for $2?  Smiley

That's something I would love to see, too. We already have bots for mentions and merits that work pretty well, but having something new would be a great addition. This idea is very nice and I am quite glad you suggested it.

Hi everyone, any recommendations for improvement in this casino?

Actually, this doesn't look appealing at all. It looks like some ready-made script without any modification to the graphical interface. I'm sure I've seen identical design on more than one domain.
You have to understand that online casino business is very competitive and you have to be innovative in order to create buzz. But in this case, it looks like somebody just slapped some code on a web page, it seems more like it was designed by a programmer than a web designer.
2567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker has over 1.3 Billion players globally, What about a poker gamefi?? on: June 17, 2022, 07:57:28 PM
Quote
The population of the world is projected to increase by 98,830,797 people in 2022 and reach 8,046,949,318 in the end of the year.
Source - https://countrymeters.info/en/World#:~:text=The%20population%20of%20the%20world,the%20end%20of%20the%20year.

So 10% of the world population is into poker?! I guess it's far from that! Maybe this can be like 1.3 billion people who played poker at least once, or like they know about the game but they never played!

You're right. In fact, I find it hard to believe such a statement.

OP doesn't specify what study he refers to and where such data comes from. According to the article linked by yahoo, there are approximately 120 million online poker players worldwide. That is actually ten times less than the 1.3 billion mentioned by the OP, and that is a much more realistic figure in my opinion.

The problem is you're posted on the midnight and want your post to be counted on the previous day.
There was no problem until you created this problem out of the blue.  In any case, if the messages go to the next day before midnight, there's nothing wrong with that, but for me personally it's very inconvenient, because then you need to break my whole technique of posting messages.

We know very well about your "technique". You forget that all messages are archived almost instantly on external sites, and that the forum indicates the date when the message was last edited. From what I can tell, you started using this technique of posting empty posts or posts with just one word, "Yes" or "No", around July last year. So you had a nice run for almost a year. It's a wonder no one has noticed this before.

As I told you before, this is not the right way to use the forum. And, this forum would be a real mess if everyone started posting with this "technique".

Once again, may God be your judge in your activities.

This is your wrongdoing and you alone are responsible for it. Leave God out of this.
2569  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 no more in bitcointalk on: June 16, 2022, 04:58:58 PM
The site seems to be down again, so no more withdrawal requests.  Undecided

Have any of you received your money back?
2570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start crypto earning on: June 16, 2022, 02:28:25 PM
How can I do it safely and low risk?

Since cryptocurrencies are considered a high-risk investment, such a fund or investment vehicle could pose significant risks for investors. Before you decide on this type of investment, make sure you understand the full risks and volatility involved. If you are looking for security, I suggest you shift your attention to another investment market instead. On the other hand, if you are looking for exciting investment returns and high potential of capital appreciation, cryptocurrency is worth considering.

You can start with a small investment or use the DCA method while familiarizing yourself with the market. If you have specific questions, do not hesitate to ask.

2572  Economy / Reputation / Re: (AndySt) The next abuser of stake campaign? on: June 16, 2022, 12:52:58 PM
@AndySt, whatever your reason, this is not the right way to use the forum. I suggest you stop doing that.

There is nothing wrong with editing your posts for grammar or spelling errors, or adding new information where necessary, but it is completely unacceptable to start writing your posts a few hours after you've reserved your spot in the thread. No matter whether Carollzinha tolerates it or not, this goes against what is considered good forum practice, and I'm pretty sure forum management wouldn't allow us to do that. Can you imagine what the forum would look like if everyone started behaving like that?
2573  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 4:1 screen at once, 🕡 back in online! on: June 16, 2022, 11:48:10 AM
The management of BitLucy has decided to cut off all connections from bitcointalk and I am not officially representing bitlucy on bitcointalk anymore, according to them it's hostile to conduct a business in the forum especially a new business who are still in their baby steps.

It's an interesting plot twist. So, according to them, this community is toxic? Strange, then, that dozens of other gambling platforms have been successfully operating on bitcointalk for years.
Well, I guess we'll never know what was really going on behind the curtain...

In any case, they didn't look like they were fit for the job anyway, so good riddance to them.
2574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom is almost in on: June 16, 2022, 10:28:13 AM
Right now, $ 20,000-$ 20,500 is the major support. It is the level to watch.
It is likely that BTC will trade within the range over the next few weeks before moving to the next level.
2575  Other / Meta / Re: Warning in PM, is this a new feature? on: June 16, 2022, 06:17:48 AM
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen that before, and I get quite a few PMs.  Are the mods making a judgement call on what constitutes a phishing PM?

According to theymos, mods don't have access to our PMs unless you use the Report to moderator function.
2576  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday theymos! on: June 16, 2022, 06:04:35 AM
People have long expected me to be in my 40s, and I'm getting closer and closer to meeting those expectations!

Trust me, there is nothing special here to see. Don't rush.

Happy Birthday !
2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trading Volume an important metric ? on: June 15, 2022, 01:37:16 PM
AAhh... so my thread is here after all. But I can not reply to the other thread I started in the HELP section. Seems fair...

And FYI... I did check my "see replies to your post" prior to posting that , did not find the thread there, it was gone

So, this was another case of "shoot first, ask questions later"Cheesy

And, next time something is not clear to you, make sure you ask first and check all the information, and don't rush to conclusions and accuse someone for no reason, as in this case. I think an apology to the moderators would be okay now, don't you?
2578  Other / Meta / Re: Are you a merit source? Thanks for your sacrifice. on: June 15, 2022, 01:07:06 PM
You think this is a problem:

I have seen countless times some merit sources make quality posts in a particular thread and they will go unmerited.
<snip>
There is a thread to report unmerited good posts, I hardly see posts of merit sources reported there.

Then the solution is pretty obvious. When you come across a post (from a merit source) that you believe to be good but is not being rewarded with merits, please report it in the "Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source" thread. Problem solved.
2579  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 4:1 screen at once, 🕡 back in online! on: June 15, 2022, 12:26:57 PM
I know BitLucy casino had some issues with bonus abuse in the beginning, but I expected it to be resolved by now. It has been almost two months now, and although I have not followed this case very closely, it appears that the problems still persist. According to what I've read so far, this is a big mess and doesn't look good at all. I would strongly suggest that the casino management solve this mess first before continuing operations or accepting new deposits from customers.

Does anyone noticed huge losses on freebitcoin multiplier?  Embarrassed
Dam I’m not able to win significant amount since yesterday. Is it associated with current bitcoin drop and revenue generation of freebitcoin. Even for the multiplier of 1.01 I lost the bets in row. I’m sure I’m not that unlucky to loose on such least multiplier. It’s really funny since yesterdays. Anyone is getting similar experience.
I understand they have to be in business but everything is getting nuts. Balance is zero now, lolz. No more wagers for me until sites stable.

A provably fair site cannot manipulate the results of rolls, if that's what you're implying. You were just unlucky, I'm sure. Everyone who plays dice long enough has experienced this at some point. Even at a multiplier of 1,01 you can lose a few rolls in a row. Each roll has the same probability, and is not related to previous rolls in any way. It's one of the most fundamental rules in the game.
