2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP beat ETH on: September 28, 2018, 08:47:07 PM
Ripple was pumped hard and I think now Ethereum is being prepared for the same . So I don't believe that ripple will take #2 coinmarketcap place , and xrp buyers should be careful, because XRP can collapse down at any time .

That's true and this is something which I am trying to explain the users from long time as XRP has no limit.and t can be manipulated very easily depending on the plan of the developers ad they have not capped the token supply. Ethreum will remain in #2 rankings.
2562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: September 27, 2018, 08:08:34 PM
In my opiniot, the ICOs and Bounty make a big part of cryptocurrency, and if ICO will die, the bounty die with it, with many perspective of making new coins for market, and after time, the market may die too.

Yes nowadays there are very few altcoins which is launched without ICO so I think ICO will play a major role in future and bounty will not die. Honestly speaking I believe there will be some sort of arrangements made in the future which will make sure scam bounties are eliminated once it is launched. So there will be no risk for ICO projects.
2563  Economy / Speculation / Is $6000 to $7000 the stable price for bitcoin? on: September 27, 2018, 11:25:08 AM
There has been numerous discussions about the stability of bitcoin and what is the stable price for the bitcoin, as we see the market has been tending around $6000 for months and one more thing which we have witnessed is that bitcoin will not dip any further below $5000, so shall we consider $6k as stable price for bitcoin?
2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you see the market? on: September 27, 2018, 11:13:40 AM
The market is recovering nicely this past months. Though the recovery is taking very slow. The good thing right now, there is no sharp fall, but there is no sharp rise too. What we are waiting is the bull run, hoping to happen this year. But the chances are low.

Yes I feel this year this might not be any bullrun and rather this year we can see some sort of stabilization of crypto coins and I believe once we gain stability then crypto will attract more users who are now afraid to invest into crypto because of highly volatile nature, I mean more.number of small and medium enterprise start using crypto once it gets stability.
2565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ripple cross $5 this year ? on: September 27, 2018, 10:56:16 AM
No way. I do not like ripple at all. This coin is centralised without any supply limits. It is a traditional banks try to get a piece of pie of our crypto industry. I would not recommend to trust in this coin and I do not think, that it will touch 5 USD ever.

There is no point in investing into Ripple as it is clearly against the concept of crypto currency but some greedy users who wants a temporary gain will invest into ripple and cash out right before the fall , no matter if ripple cross $5 or $50 still the dev team can manipulate the value by supply more coin into the market to drop it's value and reinvest.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think ICO is necessary? on: September 26, 2018, 07:48:10 PM
Irrespective of problems encountered by crypto enthusiasts like fake icos, scammers and delay. I think ICO plays an important rule in execution of sound projects. So Without ICO, most coins  find it difficult to raise funds to execute their project. Without ICO, coins or projects will find it difficult to advertise their project, without  ICO, projects will find it difficult to reach the right audience, Etc.therefore I believe in ICO because it enable me to research, analyst and evaluate the potentials of that project. Do you also believe in ICO?
Yeah, there are too many SCAMs in the ICO market, but I hope this is just a matter of time. More and more platforms that will "filter" ICOs and help reliable projects to raise funds are emerging today.

Initially many users got fooled by the scam ICO's, but as time goes on the users are turning out to be more careful and they do a thorough research about the project and then they get involved in the ICO. I believe more moderators should be added to the forum to monitor almost all the ICO projects which are advertised here in bitcointalk forum to avoid further scams.
2567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: September 26, 2018, 07:36:27 PM
bitcoin is stabilized at 6k usd and it will explode very soon.
bitcoin price will touch new all time high very soon.

Yes I hope your prediction comes true as bitcoin is at the verge of exploding and reaching new level, but as per the forecast at the beginning of the year by now bitcoin should have already crossed $15,000 mark but it did not happen, which means that it can either stay stabilized around $6000 or else it will perform like it did last year, Let's wait and watch how it goes from now on.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will it be XRP vs ETH again for second spot? on: September 26, 2018, 06:59:40 PM
So are we gonna witness one more stiff competition between Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) for the second ranking in the crypto ranking? As Ripple replace Ethereum to become the number 2 ranked crypto last year but the reign was short-lived as Ethereum gained it's second spot within weeks, But do you think even this year Ripple will reach rank 2? Or else Stellar will get there as it's doing good at the moment?
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy XRP? on: September 26, 2018, 06:51:59 PM
There are a lot of criticism about Ripple but it is about time to put your money in the table while its still cheap. You dont wantbto be left out. Ripple is a good investment according to forecast sites. And about the pump and dump isnt it better than a constant decline. You are correct, profit is why we are here.

Ripple is good for a short term investment plan and i did invest in Ripple last year to get profit of almost 10 times more than the investment capital but soon there was a huge change in the circumstances for Ripple as it started to lose it's value because Ripple can easily be manipulated since it's dubbed as centralized crypto for banks and the owners control the supply as the supply is not fixed.
2570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If altcoins don’t takeoff again before Nov, should investors sell & stay away? on: September 26, 2018, 06:48:42 PM
from the beginning of the year, of course, a big gap from the invested money and not in a positive direction - but it is necessary to keep it - as they say until it is sold, nothing is lost.

Yes patience is the key to success and thins are not going in the right direction for altcoins as well as bitcoin since the beginning of the year 2018 but i feel that the trend will change drastically or else slump further to the lowest, We need to hold on until the market gains stability if not the bullrun.

Kentrolla, do you have beside the BFL shitware also Asicminer block erupters running on the same computer?
I had almost the same problem when I plug in my first singles.
The rig I used was the first rig I ever build to mine Bitcoin.
I still used it to control block erupters. (GPU's all taken out)
The harddrive is full of crap from the GPU era.
I got a lot of problems installing 120 block erupters on that rig.
When my first singles arrived, I first used a notebook to control them.
They were running fine until I plug it into the rig with the block erupters.
Almost same errors what you got.

I reinstall windows 7 on it, that solves the problem.
The whole shit was running fine untill the block erupters starts to get errors after 2.5 months.
The adapters from the logilink 10 ports usb hubs are not designed to handle 7 block erupters 24/7 despite the adapter specs.
But that is another story.

Try the Jalepeno on a system that has never run mining software before.
If that works, then reinstall the harddrive of the system that you are going to dedicate for mining purpose.

If the above advice don't work, then you probably have a defective device.
I never used block erupters. But I used to mine with my gpu. I'll try another computer

nothing but HW error.  Is this fixable or is my jalepeno a dud?
2575  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / invalid nonce - hw error on: December 07, 2013, 03:52:13 AM
I have 2 jalepenos.  I'm using easyminer and I've tried both bfgminer and cgminer. One of them is working just fine and the other just gets 100% hw-error.  Did they send me a defective device?  Is there anyway to fix it?

It doesn't mean you can't visit a magical chocolate factory.  If you were to see Willy Wonka, would he not be real?

If I saw Willy Wonka I'd seek help.

I called dank out for going to the "what is reality" argument when he first started posting here. I knew he would.

Either way. Let him think how he thinks. obviously its a fun perspective and I wouldn't want to ruin it. As long as he's not hurting anyone or himself then I think there's no problem with him thinking this way.
