2561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: June 15, 2023, 07:21:52 PM
The crash or the dip is affecting everyone and also in the time people are benefiting from it. For the bitcoin market all sides are beneficiary to smomeone. People buy and sell at all period. Traders are very much happy in the bull time while those who buy and store ir, that the holders are happy when the price is in the bear market.

Op since you bought it when the market was crashing and since you are keeping it for future bull time then you don't have to e disturbed because time is co.ing that everything will be okay.
2562  Economy / Services / Re: Review Campaign. on: June 14, 2023, 03:58:55 PM
What's keeping you from naming your platform or creating a thread is it because it's still in beta if it is, then it's the more you post it here so people will have an idea if they want to apply as a reviewer because of their prior experience of reviewing similar platforms like yours.
Yes I support you. Instead of selecting two persons to review the site why can't the op create a ANN thread for discussion and later, when there is money, he can create a full review campaign thread for his project. Only two users will not give all he needs in the project. At least you need more user to tell you their opinion about the site. Even you pay $15 each for like 10 to 20 users is okay. Op if I were you, I would have restrategize the plan.
2563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Volatility Problem on: June 14, 2023, 03:47:44 PM
The value of bitcoin can fluctuate rapidly and dramatically, sometimes within a single day. This can create challenges for individuals and businesses that use bitcoin as a means of payment or as an investment.
It can only have issues with the payment method but for the investment there will be no problem unless the investor is doing it for short term and short term investment is not good but if the investor is investing for a long term investment then the fluctuations will not affect him because he is investing for the bull market to come.

For example, if someone were to receive payment in bitcoin BTC for a product or sevice, the value of that payment could decrease significantly before they have chance to exchange it for a more stable currency. Similarly, business that hold bitcoin as an investment may experience significant losses if the value of bitcoin drops suddenly.
Then the person should not use bitcoin for his payment method and accept only Fiat for his payment method. Nobody is doing business to lose but to make Profit. Therefore if goods the purchase are more higher than the amount of BTC at the time then he should use another payment options.

2564  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa making an open Confessional statement on: June 14, 2023, 03:08:18 PM
This happened in almost all the democratic society. Op go and edit you article. Nigeria is operating a civilian rule and nothing like "we are operating civilian kind of government" we are operating civilian government already. I know you wanted to say military kind of government. Nigeria operates Oligarchical system of government which has nothing to do with the Nigerian population but their interest is for few government officials. But this new government might release 1% to the masses.
2565  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is tax relief ever a solution to the effect of the fuel subsidy removal? on: June 14, 2023, 02:59:08 PM
If tax is really used for the main purpose of collecting it, it would have relief many things in Nigeria but tax money has been diverted to personal pockets and other things in the country. The money that was using for subsidy is big enough to settle many things in the country.
Tax relief will only help tax payers and the tax payers increase their good and services, so I support the tax relief movement because with that things might come down again.
2566  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Commercial banks to trade FOREX freely, is this a good sign for crypto trading? on: June 14, 2023, 02:49:25 PM
Forex trading and Cryptocurrencies trading are two different things. Me I no dey even interested in forex trading. But if the FG approve di use forex trading by banks then later run they might accept Cryptocurrency in the banks. But as Charles-Tim said the news not yet verify and confirmed so the blogger published the news without the prior notice of the original Source.
But I still believe that there is elements of truth from the news. And let us wait and hear from other sources because if really forex has been approved then there is probability of approving crypto.
2567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Established members and newbies on: June 13, 2023, 10:28:45 PM
Although I haven't spent much time on this forum I observed that when most newbie make a valid and reasonable post they only get nice replies instead of established members assisting in ranking them up
The chances of ranking up from a newbie is very thin in most cases  even for those striving to add value to the forum.
I am not imposing anyone to help others rank up but I am saying rank should not be a sole factor to consider when someone deserves a merit
Op you are not the first person to face such challenges. Everyone in the forum face it except those first set of user that came early with the forum. All what you have to do is just to create a good threads, good comments, and good contributions will just rank you up speedily. You don't behave to panic, just calm down and read more on posts and make reasonable comments whenever you understand the post you are reading. It is a gradual process. You don't have to rush the process. Of you try to rush it then you enter into a very big problem. So calm your head down.
2568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best board to focus on as a newbie in the forum? on: June 13, 2023, 10:19:37 PM
I'm beginning to understand the forum better by the day, but I'm still under a learning process, cause we learn everyday and I'm big on receiving advise from older members
I find it easier to post on gambling, economics, politics and several others, but I want to know which board to focus more on as a newbie, what's your say on this? I'm open to learning from your opinions.
As a beginner or as a newbie your best board to post is this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0. this where you can asked questions like this nd make contributions. You learn a lot of things from this board then you can go out to any other boards that you can make quality contributions. You are not restricted to any board. If the board is okay for you to make comments then you can do that. All what you to do is to read more as other have told you before. Any board you visit, make sure you read the guidelines (rules) of the board so that you will not violate the regulations or the policies. Do well to explore the forum for your good advantage.
2569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 13, 2023, 10:10:53 PM
Bitcoin's popularity is increasing day by day. Now in today's society both men and women are working shoulder to shoulder together in the office. No exception to this, women are also very interested in Bitcoin and current Bitcoin. The reason for interest is that when a woman works in an office, it becomes a bit difficult for her to juggle family and children. In today's society we see many working women leave their children with the workers and go to office, those children are abused by the workers. I think all the sisters who have chosen this bitcoin as their profession should not face such problems. Because after all the children's work and household chores, there will be enough time to devote to bitcoins. So choosing Bitcoin as a career can be a good decision for girls.
What do you mean by work. So you are comparing office work with bitcoin as work? Bitcoin is not work oo and also not a career. Bitcoin is a digital currency for exchanging things online. The only thing you can do with bitcoin is investing and using it to trade or use it purchase things online so I don't know where the work is coming from that women can work at home instead of going to office and leaving their children for house help to abuse. How bitcoin becomes a career I don't know. All these users that do not understand bitcoin can create scrap for people to read.
2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 13, 2023, 09:58:55 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
I smile! Does your wife know what is bitcoin? Even though you don't give her bitcoin as a gift, you can still buy something valuable to her. Even though you are the one keeping the bitcoin in your wallet, she still the one has them. That is why what belong to you also belong to her as well. All these stories are unrealized ones. They are just for other things.

Op when are you getting married? Why did you tell us the day you are getting but only telling us the gift to your unforeseen wife. That means anytime whenever you want to give something to anyone, you will come here and seek for advise because forum now is a family counseling platform.
2571  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria why😭😭 on: June 13, 2023, 08:57:29 PM
I really don't understand the whole thing. How? How did they ban Binance that it is still working perfectly in the region? I am still using Binance very well. So I don't know how the ban look like. Nigeria has plenty exchange platforms that one can use to buy and sell coins but bincance is the best among all because Binance does not charge when buying and selling while others charge. Exchange like Busa charge a very big amount of money for transaction.
So I done like Nigerian own exchange but global exchanges.
2572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there anyone else who shares the same sentiments? on: June 12, 2023, 06:38:53 PM
The reason why the bitcoin market is not reacting so much to the SEC and Binance issue as much as we may have expected is because it appears to be more of a social attack rather than a direct attack on bitcoin network protocol, mining operations or blockchain technology. The market would have reacted differently if it was an attack on the network. Am I correct? I don't know much about the technical aspect of Bitcoin, but this is the best possible explanation I can think of for what is happening. Is there anyone else who shares the same sentiments?
Bitcoin is a decentralized asset so it is not possible to attack by SEC or any other government agencies. Binance is a centralized exchange platform which probably have offices across the world and pay tax direct to the state government and probably it has breach the agreement with government and that is why sec is going after them. If not Binance has been on Operation for more 3 years and sec didn't find any fault till this year. From my looking, there is something wrong between the two parties.
2573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin must surpass gold on: June 12, 2023, 06:32:04 PM
There are two reasons. First, Bitcoin is a non-credit currency ten times stronger than gold. So unless Bitcoin is replaced. Otherwise he must surpass gold. Second, Bitcoin is close to being the ideal non-credit currency, and it is basically impossible to have another non-credit currency beyond Bitcoin. Combine these two points and Bitcoin is bound to surpass gold
Each of them has their strongness in their domain. Gold is strong in the physical dealing while bitcoin is strong in the digital dealing. Remember that you can use gold to buy bitcoin but you can use bitcoin to buy gold. Now the question is, how many bitcoins will you use to buy one gold? Gold is not a currency but bitcoin is currency. Gold is asset and bitcoin is also an asset. And when we come to the value of the two. Gold has value in is area and bitcoin as well. I think the color of bitcoin is gold.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 12, 2023, 06:21:15 PM
People gamble because it has entered their blood so they can stay without gambling. The same time, there are some houses that gamblers use gambling to food the family and live comfortably. It is not all the parents hate gambling. One thing I know is that the way the gambler behave in the family and society also contribute to his distain in the family and the society at large. If he is a gentle gambler with problem with anyone then he has nothing to worry.
2575  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 12, 2023, 06:11:24 PM
Op to talk is easy but reality is hard. We all know that gambling is choice but those rogues compel people to play those games with magic first gambler win. The way they mix those cards, stone and other objects for the game too is something else. Then among them one of them will play the game and the way he would play the game would be very easy that ordinary you would be thinking that it is not hard. And that is why they always allow you to win the first game and subsequent ones you will be losing all. Online games never attract but you go there by yourself. But those rogues attract you with their magic games.
2576  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Cryptocurrency in Nigeria: From ban to taxation on: June 12, 2023, 05:34:03 PM

2577  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 11, 2023, 05:22:08 PM
My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?
Other users have answered your question in different ways basically the staking and the investment. Everyone has their say. And my say is that you can't compare investment to staking.  You can read here for more information on staking.  Investment is much more longer in Profit than staking. Although the way I look at it. They are almost the same in content.
2578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I believe that Bitcoin will make me independent on: June 11, 2023, 05:11:17 PM
Hey guys. I’m just want to hear something encouring and confirm my assumptions. 🙏 I want to be someday (i hope that it will be possible in next bullrun) independent of money from my family. I’m since 2010 on wheelchair because of failed surgery and interrupted my spinal cord. I have multiple health problems, mainly resulting from paralysis.  I have little chance of having a high paying job due to my health problems and unfortunately incomplete education. But my expenses are too high. I am able to invest 20-30 euros per month and I really want to believe that one day thanks to this regular investment I won't have to ask my family for help. I’m 14 months in world of Bitcoin! I’m excited and my hope in BTC is probably actually bigger than the fact that one day I will walk again  Grin
HODL and believe with me, please!  Smiley

Sorry for my english, it is not my native language, but tried my best  Smiley

Op God will do it for you has he is doing it for others. It is better that you realized it by yourself to invest in bitcoin, in bitcoin investment, there is no charge for monthly maintenance fees, everything is just calm and smooth, but Fiat bank will be charging fees every month. With your health which you can't go to work for now, it is good you invest in bitcoin so when the bull market comes, you can do well with it. Yes your faith will heal you. And you will work again.
2579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is ahead is very dangerous on: June 11, 2023, 02:46:58 PM
Op thanks you for bringing this to notice of all. I thought NFT airdrop is no long in existence. This information now not only for newbies but also to other ranks in the forum.
Scammers always have a trick to scam unsmart people but it is hard for them to scam the smart people. Because those people will detect them once they see them. And one thing is to avoid any fast way of making money online. If anyone wants to make money online fast then the person must be scam by them. Stay away from any trap from those guys.
2580  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria SEC tag binance operations illegal on: June 10, 2023, 05:22:18 PM
Binance dey face very serious attack from all corner in di world. I'd it dat di downfall of Binance has near? I am tired of the whole matter. Why Binance and Coinbase now? I have not heard it from the Nigeria angle but from Canada and other lawsuits. I just dey pray day they should pass this hard time and come out with stronger winds.

Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria e just dey follow other kwantries to do things. They can't do anything on their own. Because dem hear sae Binance dey under attacked by other countries demselves Carey their own come sae dem dey here too. Nonsense sec.
