The forum does not moderate scams.

Your replies were deleted by the thread-starter, not a moderator.

No idea what's going on?

Check out the previous puzzles:

Quote from: Solution

Hint 1: The first 5 letters of the second address are missing two vowels. | Addendum: The words in the addresses direct you to certain parts of the forum.
Hint 2: Where BBCode cannot exist, something else does. Word processors may help. | Addendum: Check for hidden characters.
Hint 3: Perhaps you should look for the reference but in a different format.

SOLUTION

Step 1: The first post has the contents: [᠎color=#ba58ec][᠎url=https://27ebfGNx4nJQT2dfs3E4mxV3tuytamWeJm86K77pa3SDrzk]. ba58en → Base 58 Encoding on the 273bf... string.

Step 2: Decoding the 27ebf... string leads to the 1NEGtaGs... address which sent the prize to 1shBNg... and on my trust page, I was given a neg tag that included a shebang in it.

Step 3: The text was: "part of the corrupt gang#! with tman laudaM Darkstar hhampuz all 5 collude" with a reference of search. This was by user "dtmorelikeshitty"

Step 4: MD5 hash of "search" is 06a943c59f33a34bb5924aaf72cd2995 and searching for it on-forum leads to this post: (irrelevant parts deleted)

06a943c59f33a34bb5924aaf72cd2995
Example (with only 4 people):

Quote from: p3

Quote from: p1

i agree because the bitcoin will rise and fall because volatility

Step 5: I sent a positive trust to Cyrus: "4᠎ real, a ᠎g᠎reat ᠎q᠎uality admin with ᠎Z᠎eal. I'd trust them as a proper Ad᠎j᠎udi᠎cA᠎tor. ᠎6᠎" and the characters 4gqZjcA6 were surrounded by 0-width whitespace characters.

Step 6: The reference was to pastebin, which leads to https://pastebin.com/4gqZjcA6:

Quote
One half is found on my profile.

The other half can be found with another search.

There will be a suffix to add... found on the other profile.

Where my profile contains the partial private key 5KVwLpFLnaf2RrDnK9gZRky

Step 7: Searching again for the SHA-256 hash of "search" returns this post: Re: What exactly is Trust Depth?

Step 8: The dtmorelikeshitty profile has the user "QBFD4raRqXMjwBRWqFR1GqyCN" in its trust list.

Step 9: The dtmorelike profile also has "... + DQw" in its profile.

Step 10: Putting all three parts together (5KVwLpFLnaf2RrDnK9gZRkyQBFD4raRqXMjwBRWqFR1GqyCNDQw) leads to the private key.

Done.

I already have a raw transaction ready to sign, moving 25% back to the same address to keep the challenge open if I find it. All I need is a private key Cheesy
LOL. What kind of person are you Loyce, counting your chickens before you even have the eggs? Grin

You were saying? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy My chickens are doing just fine Cheesy

Thanks actmyname Cheesy It was a good hunt!
By posting this I've probably given away part of the puzzle already, as promised I left 25% of the prize for the next person who cracks it.
Glad you enjoyed the puzzle. I hope you were pleasantly surprised when you found out how to continue after you found the messenger. Wink

I've been breaking my head over "Don't get board just yet. Stay hungry for the answer" since last night Cheesy
The first sentence relates to the one preceding it.

Last posted a month ago = inactive?
That's a bit overzealous isn't it, a month is barely a decent holiday.

That's my point exactly - if they were genuine about removing UID's (by their yard stick of just one month)
Thing is, Ente's inactivity was a length of three months. Moreover, they had exclusively left positive trust. :/

You do.
2569  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [0.02 BTC] Short Puzzle. on: January 22, 2019, 02:14:29 AM
There are users that have broken through the messenger.
There are users that have yet to do so.

To both of them:

In each message, certain words are placed there for a specific reason. They will lead you to the answer.
2570  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS ITS ENOUGH !!!!!!!!! on: January 21, 2019, 06:31:51 PM
Based on forum rules

Quote
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

Its not saying a word about having multiple accounts are discouraged .
So lets assume i even were thule what rule did he broke for the negative tagg ?
Let's cite some one more.

Hey, look! It's right under the one that you quoted!

Quote
19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).

What rule did all those scammers break? Roll Eyes
2571  Other / Meta / Re: Signature advertisers: suggestions? on: January 21, 2019, 06:27:46 PM
For example, one idea I had was to allow users to subscribe to campaigns that other users set up, and then the campaigner could automatically push signature updates to everyone subscribed, and also track exactly when and for how long each user was subscribed. Would this be significantly useful?
Signatures rarely change, if ever. I don't think there's any point in using forum resources for real-time updates like that.

I don't see anything that could be used to help signatures (that pertain to campaigns) apart from aliases for BBCode in order to fit "more" in the character restrictions. That being said, I would be interested in seeing new BBCode options Smiley
2572  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT2 SUCHMOON ABUSE.Who voted him into trust circle ? on: January 21, 2019, 06:23:14 PM
How about you start showing evidence about my negativ tags when demanding something like that ?Demanding only evidence for DT members?
Double standards ?
This point is irrelevant. Moreover, I am not the one that needs to provide evidence for your negative tags.

Much like your statement of "I even saw 2 people being red tagged for making a deal", you put the onus on yourself by making a claim like this. This is why I ask for the threads from cryptohunter.
2573  Economy / Reputation / Re: The war with Russia: can we end it? Do we want to? on: January 21, 2019, 06:03:05 PM
No one gives a shit what you think, you are trying to cause trouble and aren't even Russian - whats the issue? why are you trying to cause the great bitcoin cold hot war?
FTFY. Cold war had more indirect attacks.

To be sure, TECHSHARE has had his troubles in life. Thank you for forgiving him. Now if you could only become as logical as he is...

Cool
You know it's going to be a great thread when BADecker replies to it. I'm excited.
Let's redirect the argument back to full points rather than ad-hominem, yes?

Do you want free speech to have no restrictions*, full stop?

*I do realize that free = no restrictions is a tautology but we are using "free speech" as the term

you publish here our trust list so you tryin to manipulate?
It is public information.
2577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 21, 2019, 05:47:24 PM
Notice how the cartoon propagandist avoided the topic of physical metals entirely because they know imaginary, valueless, digital shitcoins cannot compete.  Including them in the conversation and pretending shitcoins are better would instantly have people label them as scammers so they just ommitted them.  The result is their picture is nothing but a comparison between Chuck E Cheese tokens and Delta airline miles.  Newsflash:  anything that can be sent digitally has no sustainable value.
If you're going to bring that up, why trade metals at all? Let's go for direct farmer-to-farmer trading because we should only live on intrinsic value.

bitcoin bad! Angry

Wouldn't mind another public hint on the "different kind of change." & "following the path slightly differently." part Tongue

Or not, who knows, maybe a genius will show up in the next hour or two.
Analyze the messenger's statement and you shall find the answer.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about with this messenger nonsense, then you probably haven't gotten far enough.
2579  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS ITS ENOUGH !!!!!!!!! on: January 21, 2019, 05:37:48 PM
You just proofed again what kind of manipulator you are.
giving only 20% of possibility that i'm none of the mentioned people suggest to people i'm one of them.
I thought it was an obvious joke. I even put the Roll Eyes emoji out there and prefaced with the fact that I would bullshit harder.

I'm still waiting for your answer to my question, by the way:

I even saw 2 people being red tagged for making a deal both agreed on just because it was a paypal exchange deal.
I mean why are you punks to decide for me if i'm allowed to make with somebody an exchange or not ?Its none of your business what kind of risk i take.

You are acting worse than any plan business.
Who are these users? If it's based purely on the method of transaction, then that doesn't seem like it deserves a tag to me.

If you identify these users then I would be glad to counter the rating. I just hope that you're not making false statements.

The fact that he's sure no one is halfway through implies there needs to be contact at some point to get the next clue?
I've contacted 2 different accounts by now Cheesy But:
Their lips are sealed
It's very important to distinguish how I know that you have not progressed past a certain point. Remember: this puzzle only takes place on the forum.

(perhaps you might use some third-party tools to help but at no point will I forcibly direct you to a different website.)
