CloudFlare I'm under attack mode should work great under DDoS.
Attack mode helps, but only to a point. As you can see right now, we're back in it.
We've made a few more changes though, that will kick in soon.

This giveaway was over for now ?
You've missed it, but the next one is just around the corner, keep an eye on the thread and you'll be informed early Smiley
2563  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is crypto-games.net down? on: September 30, 2016, 03:14:01 PM
it seems like multiple Bitcoin related sites have been under DDOS and being blackmailed to make it stop.
I'm not aware of any requests for ransom. It seems there are other motives behind it, if any.

I hope they will just give up after a few days
The attack already slowed down.

I do hope that you can get these DDOS attacks sorted out soon, still having trouble connecting to the website.
Even on a different computer/connection, still going really slow.
We're about to roll out an update with a few adjustments and improvements, maybe that helps.
As I can see, things are back to normal for most users, sorry to hear you'Re amongst the few which still have troubles to cope up with.

Attackers ruin the fun for everyone

Everything in my review is still valid to this day, except that I haven't included some of the new alt-coins they accept.
Let's take a look at your review: https://thebitcoinstrip.com/crypto-games.html

Quote
Crypto-games.net is a casino offering two games: Dice and Slots
We're currently offering 5 games: Dice, Slots, Blackjack, Roulette & a Lottery

Quote
available in four different cryptocurrencies,
The number is seven

Quote
Absurdly, the last altcoin added is the widely unknown DarkGold
Nope, DarkGold is not featured anymore. There's Ethereum that was last added, wouldn't call it "widely unknown".

Quote
Dice is the normal dice you see everywhere. The house edge is a low 1%
That's wrong, the house edge on dice is 0.8%

Quote
Although exact stats aren’t shown
Wrong again, stats are public for everyone to have a look.

Quote
In one roll, no more than 0.1 Bitcoins can be won
The maximum win on bitcoin currently sits at 3BTC

Quote
being able to win only 6 LTC, 70K Doge, or 70 DarkGold.
It's 10 LTC & 300K Doge

Quote
The fact that an advertisement is shown on the front page explains a lot for itself
Where exactly would that ad be?

And that's only the quick things I've found.

So only a few unimportant details?

They added a few more alt-coins? Cool.
Some more games than the ones I reviewed? Cool.
House edge is off by 0.2%? OK.
Maximum win raised from a tiny 0.1 BTC to a tiny 3 BTC? Sure. It actually says the max profits (and all their other stats) on the top of the page (updated automatically).

The gist of the review is still valid: Crypto-Games is a crappy website that should not be trusted.
Archived for future reference: http://archive.is/JI63y#80%
If you really think listing a wrong house edge is an "unimportant detail" you shouldn't be reviewing any casino, ever.

I think some of the information in the review is a bit outdated though -- we have hundreds to get through, so I'm sure you can understand.
If you "don't have the time" to correct obvious mistakes, aswell as outdated information, in over a year, maybe you shouldn't be running a site in the first place?
2567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is crypto-games.net down? on: September 30, 2016, 12:32:59 PM
Really? What don't you like about it?
Besides the 25 grand you have to pay to get a review that isn't full of either outdated or factually wrong data?
2568  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is crypto-games.net down? on: September 30, 2016, 12:23:54 PM
It's just horrible in general. The looks, the financials, the countless spelling mistakes. You can just tell it's made by someone who is either incompetent or just doesn't care.
That pretty much describes your site Cheesy
2569  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is crypto-games.net down? on: September 29, 2016, 06:37:45 PM
Its automated by cloud flare if they are notice any suspicious  in their site automated that the server will down..
He can prevent those who are DDOS  attack cloudflare can help..
No, cloudflare doesn't shut the server down when they "notice any suspicious".

I dont think there is any problem with crypto-games.net site nor it is down because i have just opened the site an hour ago and it was working perfectly.
It seems there are still some users with problems.
I'm on the same page as you, I don't have any now and I hardly got some during the last day(s), but others aren't that fortunate.

whenever you want to check the up or down status of a website you visit, first check and online service like "isitdownrightnow.com" to make sure it is not just your problem. if the site says it is up then read more at the bottom of the page how to fix the problem.
Seems very unreliable to be tbf. Checked it earlier a few times and the "status" didn't quite fit the actual status of the site.
Not sure if they can handle sites utilizing cloudflare.
2570  Economy / Reputation / Re: The BCT PGP/GPG Public Key Database: Shorena's expires in one week's time. on: September 29, 2016, 03:59:27 PM
while they are on an extended hiatus?
Talked to them this morning, well, in a way. Also been keeping up with them via Twitter. It's not that they can't be reached.

Anyone else notice that the Shorena (4E32 814C 98C2 B12E C473 228B 940A 17DB BD6B 68E2) Key expires in one week's time
I don't see any problems with that.

On a side note, I'm a Hero Member now.

Could you guys add etc as a coin?
We're currently not planning to support ETC in any further way besides the payments to ETH investors a few weeks ago.

Down for me as well. It's actually been down sporadically throughout the last couple days
Will be another couple of hours till we're back up, I'll inform you once things are running again.

What is the point in this forum if everyone gets red/negative trust? Why don't mods just remove it and ban hyip altogether?
There's a difference between the forums policy and the policy (some) users on DT have.
While it might be completely OK from the forums pov to have that section and let the HYIP scammers be amongst themselves there,
that doesn't mean what happens over there isn't worthy of negative feedbacks in order to warn others (at least in the eyes of some users).

I've requested lightlord to move the payday from Sunday to Monday.
Still waiting on confirmation on this, but since I'm handling the full process of payments, there should be nothing speaking against it.
As this change is effective immediately, this round will be ~ 8 days long and run for another (half a) day.

Postion to Apply: Hero
Posts Start: 6
Enrolled into a hero member special rate spot paying 21 million BTC per week Wink

Kindly make the necessary changes your rank must be Newbie and not Hero.
We're not enrolling newbies anymore.

How long are you going to be closed for members and for jr. members? If you don't mind me asking.
Until some of those members either rank up or are kicked for inactivity/leave.

Is someone actually looking at the applications because I ''signed up'' a few days ago seeing that there is an open stop for sr.member.
Enrollments are taking place with the payments (and the start of the new round).
If waiting a few days for a review is too much for you, you can simply time your application, post it shortly before payround and I'll have a look at it right away.
2578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling site with faucet on: September 25, 2016, 06:18:20 PM
FastDice has the biggest faucet, followed by bitsler and then PrimeDice.
Crypto-Games.net got faucets up to 20.5k satoshi Wink

I do not see any faucet at Wealthydice.com
Aren't they a moneypot app and hence got moneypots 200 sat faucets?
