2561  Other / Off-topic / Re: GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 27, 2021, 10:40:45 PM
GGG fought last year, so in this scheduled fight if it happen, he will be inactive for over a year.
I hope this is not his last fight, as though is not getting any younger, many are still hoping he would fight Canelo Alvarez one more time.

Being inactive for over a year is not really an issue. It's the usual rest period of a veteran boxer and we are in a pandemic situation that's why some fights are hard to arrange because of restrictions and event venue protocols. Before we think of a trilogy with Canelo, GGG should pass and defeat first Murata and see if his power is still there. Canelo is not looking forward to a rematch with GGG but in case we saw the latter still as explosive as before, he can call out Canelo once he won his upcoming fight in December.

Nice to see GGG again. That will be exciting to watch.
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why some gambling sites allowed my IP and why some restrict it? on: September 27, 2021, 10:34:55 PM
I'm just curious because AFAIK gambling is not totally illegal in my country, so I have the liberty to gamble on the sites that I like to use.

I just came across a new site https://www.btc365.com/ since I also applied for the signature campaign.

Actually, it's not the first gambling site that blocks my IP address or country, but it does not worry me as most of the reputable gambling sites that I am still using until now are accepting my bets without a problem, mind you, I gamble anonymously.

So I'd like to hear from you guys, please shed some light on my concern as I just like to get an accurate answer about my curiosity.

If you like an accurate answer about your curiosity specifically on btc365.com terms about restricted countries, you are in the wrong place because all responses will be in general unless a representative from btc365.com responded here. Contact their support about the specific reason why a certain country is ban.

In general, even a country doesn't ban gambling, you can't expect that some gambling sites will allow users from that country. There is a thing called jurisdiction, maybe from their game provider or the license itself.
2563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: September 27, 2021, 10:31:31 PM
It's been a while since I read this topic and I found this list very interesting!!

How I like gambling to enjoy my free time. I believe it's valid to bet on games that involve skill, as unfortunately I'm not lucky for anything in my life lol!

In the end, everyone has their own preferences. If you think you are not comfortable with either of them, don't force yourself to play on that. I do like skill-based games but it doesn't mean I won't try those luck-based. In my history of betting on luck-based, there are numerous times that I won a good amount. I like to have the experience again that's why occasionally, I do bet on casino games especially slots, and rely on my luck on that session will come to me.
2564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet Responsibly Campaign on: September 27, 2021, 10:24:58 PM
A great program that can help every gamblers and not just those who are already addict in gambling, this can also give awareness to beginners about the possible risk of gambling. Some addict gamblers really don’t want to get expose, they just want to deal with this alone and I do hope that thru this program they can now have the courage to face their problems and ask for some help.
This campaign isn't enough to be honest, it's just an awareness campaign so it's not really that effective, I mean the addicted will stay addicted, and the people won't stop gambling even if they're aware, better if there's some real intervention like rehabilitation.

Not enough but at least they are doing something there. Rather than consider that as not an effective one, hope for the best that everyone will cooperate. For example, those concerned people that know there are gambling addicts around there can reach or consult the company Entain and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) to give assistance to those people.

There are already rehabilitations but that will give just additional stress to an addicted gambler if they will directly put there. That's where the RSI will help on the situation by doing consultation and deep talk first.
2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate slot experience on: September 27, 2021, 10:13:14 PM
I have read so many things on slot games, how it is the most popular and easy to play a game which requires little to no skills in playing it. But again from personal experience and development, some players can still manage the way around the slot, can we share experiences?

Just like in any other luck-based game, just don't be greedy and don't make an insane bet amount per spin. If you like your slots session to last long, you can bet on the minimum amount for your bankroll to lasts long and hope for your luck to come in. Those users that manage a way to win big on slots have the guts to play with risks. There is a slot feature called buy-in where users can buy free spins.

It's a sure ball that users will enter the jackpot scene but the question is if they will hit the biggest possible reward and will able to cover the amount they spend on buy-in.
2566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 26, 2021, 11:53:35 PM
Too bad that the association doesn't want Casimero and Donaire to face each other because it's going to be a good match since they both have a beef with each other so we can expect rage in both fighters but no it doesn't happen, even Inoue's wish to fight Casimero didn't come true as he too is pissed off with Casimero.

It's already set but there's an issue that happened that leads Donaire to cancel the fight. I don't understand why some people here are upset about the assigned match to Casimero and Donaire. The fight is just hype here in the thread but overall, it's not. Donaire and Casimero just need to settle their respective match. Their fight will be arranged soon together with Inoue. That's for sure.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 26, 2021, 11:34:02 PM
NorthPort becomes the talk of the community after their performance against SMB. Even they lose in that match, they gained lots of supporters. What the game, so thrilling and exciting. The game is close for the most part of the match. And that long shot by Bolick, almost close to the logo, is one of the good highlights we saw on that game.

This team has a future if they will stay healthy. Bolick is already good back in his College days and now more improving.

Looking forward to them beating the SMB for a change.
2568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet Responsibly Campaign on: September 26, 2021, 11:21:26 PM
Hopefully, more and more gamblers can take responsibility for their money and themselves so the addiction among the people can reduce. And people will know that placing a bet in sports betting is fun but they must prevent becoming addicted to gambling.

More programs like this can help people have a responsibility to themselves and help them manage the budget and time to avoid the worst scenario that can happen to them.

The initiative is good and they will have my support. I just hope that their effort will lead to a good result. As we know, some gamblers are really hard-headed and can't be controlled no matter how we educate them about the risks.

Addiction is fine as long as everyone is responsible and has a stable source of income to support their gambling needs.
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Vaccination Lottery on: September 26, 2021, 11:18:28 PM
I'm definitely not against vaccine promotion, however, I'm not sure if that's the right way. Instead, there should be a campaign presenting its health benefits, not only as an individual, but also as a community, a high vaccination percentage means less cases, less deaths and in the end, less austerity measures.

This lottery is consisted of 1139 prizes, some are weekly draws, some monthly etc, providing each participant 4 winning chances. Doesn't sound much of a great deal to me.

Any form of encouragement is the right way. It's impossible that the government is not presenting a campaign showing benefits why everyone needs to be vaccinated. It was always posted on social media, health websites, and some advertisements. The campaign drive showing those benefits is not effectively leading the government to think of a way and a lottery is one of them.

This lottery is consisted of 1139 prizes, some are weekly draws, some monthly etc, providing each participant 4 winning chances. Doesn't sound much of a great deal to me.

Why the offer should be a great deal? You have mentioned with or without incentives, you are vaccinated and that should always be the case.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ASA to host gambling advertising webinar on: September 25, 2021, 11:47:19 PM
So what is your opinion about this? If that webinar is not followed up, I am not sure if that discussion will work and will have a new rule to control the gambling ads.

That's not a big deal to me. Even lots of regulations will be passed, gambling is gambling and lots of people there will be exposed to it, be it a new player, young ages or any. Even how they re-organized those ads, young age will still meet gambling in their life.

The good side is, at least they are doing something though. The UK is one of the countries with the highest gambling industry in the world. It's hard to maintain that status while minimizing the bad effects of gambling.
2571  Economy / Speculation / Re: New (old) FUD coming from China? on: September 25, 2021, 11:31:55 PM
Can this negatively affect the price of Bitcoin or has the market already reacted to it because it is old news?

Bitcoin already received lots of FUD, even bigger than that before. The price will surely react to the price but expect that after a brief period of time, a bounce-back is surely to happen. For now, let's follow what will be the progress after that China's action and what will be the result of it afterwards.

We don't know if it will affect the market for long but at least we have the assurance that a price push will happen soon erasing the results of the FUD.
2572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TALK token good investment ? on: September 25, 2021, 11:12:00 PM
Cryptocurrency price changes may be severe on a daily basis, and I've seen that 10-20% is typical, but for Talk Token, in my opinion, even though the price is still below 0.00000001 and has been listed on Yobit, it is highly recommended to do a TA analysis first about coins/tokens to minimize the risk in investing whose initial intention is to profit, so it ends up losing and in vain.
TALK is cryptotalk token not owned by yobit

Cryptotalk is being promoted by Yobit before. Even technically we think that TALK is not owned by Yobit directly, there's an affiliation so we can conclude it was under by Yobit in any case. Yobit is known for pumping and hyping small-cap to dead coins. If you are a new player to crypto, it's not recommended to test your luck there since the hype will just last for 1-2 days or even just an hour. Don't be deceived by their expected market value.

There are lots of coins you can play around. Choose those instead unless you are shilling that coin here too.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: September 22, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
He already has a lot of tough fights, he will not become one of the pounds for pound boxers if he is a weak champion, both are tough fighters and if Crawford Porter there's nothing to achieve anymore but a unification bout against Spence, he cannot go on fighting any boxer in the welterweight division he needs to scale up and a fight with Spence is the only way, this fight will open a possibility for a Crawford - Spence fight.

If Crawford will win, of course, he can challenge Spence but they should have fight a long time ago if they are willing to fight each other. They are the only 2 champions that remained undefeated in the same division, why not fight and give the fans real entertainment. Well, there's one thing to consider also as Spence is currently in the healing process on his eye operation, so let's wait if he is 100% ready.

They still have plenty of time to set up a great fight next year, assuming that Spence will heal and recovered by his eye injury. The fight hasn't made years ago because of obvious boxing politics. And the two are still making a name for themselves in the welterweight division. But since then, they have remain the only two boxers who is undefeated and hopefully with Crawford fighting a PBC fighter in Porter, it will be a start of him facing tough welterweight not in Top Rank stable.

Yeah, plenty of time for Spence Jr if the eye injury is really legit lol. Don't take my statement seriously. Just playing with those rumors. Smiley

The arrange fight between Terrence Crawford and Shawn Porter, is a good fight to see. Like to see again the Knockout streak of Terrence Crawford.

At last, a good and real match after this number of exhibition matches that's all about money.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 22, 2021, 11:47:05 PM
Oh well, maybe that's already on the script and Canelo expects that so he can react right away and avoid it to land in his face, while those punches that he throws to Plant are not a close fist, so not a hard landing too.  Cheesy Wink

As much as I plan to think it's scripted, looks like the emotions are genuine and true. Smiley

The punch from Canelo is a hard landing. Caleb Plant receives a cut on his below right eye. It wasn't well defended even it's a predictable move by Canelo. There will be lots of the same punches that Plant will expect to receive in the fight. Not just a cut on his right eye but maybe multiple damages. He better be aware.
2575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 22, 2021, 11:40:21 PM
Klay on the other hand was a prolific defender, everyone talks about how great his shooting was but dude was a prolific defender and one of the reasons why GSW was so good while Curry had defensive problems, because Klay could cover that defensive position. That means if he comes back and doesn't have the same defense, with everyone a bit older, are they still as great as they were?

Yes agree here that Klay Thompson is a good defender aside from producing good contributions on Warriors' offense. If he will be like that next season, not sure. I think Steve Kerr is already aware of that and someone from the team should adjust and take their performance to a higher level to fill what's lacking for the Warriors. Since Klay is mostly catch and shoot, his offense will still be the same with not much difference or worrying that the same injury will be triggered.

And Green's defensive mentality might come back now that his lucky charm, the Splash Brothers, will now come back. They are still a decent team to consider compared to other teams.
2576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 22, 2021, 11:29:33 PM
The fight can still be made between Casimero and Inoue. That is if the champion Inoue are willing to pay for the sanction fee. Not sure how much it is or what they are going to base it (per percentage of the purse).

In any case, if they are not willing then we have to wait for the Casimero vs Inoue then. Hope that Casimero will win against his mandatory, I'm sure majority of us are not familiar with Butler. Not saying he is not good, of course we are going to favor Casimero in this fight.

I think that will not end up in that way. Inoue will not oppose that because why in the first place. Casimero vs Inoue is a big deal but not to the point it will still push despite WBO ordering a mandatory fight. Fans can just wait to settle this. It's not even a problem for Casimero as he will just accept fights especially that it's mandatory.

If Casimero really eyes to fight Inoue, he should defeat all the boxers that will be assigned to fight him. There's a big reason why the fight with Inoue is not able to arrange this time and that's something we should not need to know.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 22, 2021, 11:14:10 PM
Since this is an order, I guess this will be the next fight of Donaire, no more against Inoue or Casimero, it will be against Gaballo.

Quote
MANILA, Philippines — An all-Filipino title clash has been set after the World Boxing Council ordered a mandatory fight between WBC bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire and interim champ Reymart Gaballo.

The WBC, one of four major sanctioning bodies in pro boxing, made the announcement on Tuesday.
WBC orders Nonito Donaire title defense vs Reymart Gaballo

Betting odd is not available for now but it will be updated once it's out.
Also, the schedule and the venue are not yet final.

Although not expected by most PH boxing enthusiasts, I consider this a must to see fight. We will still see the bout between, Casimero, Inoue, and Donaire soon.

The fight isn't organized mandatorily for nothing. It's good to have prior fights between the expected major ones. It's also good for me to see other Filipinos taking clashes in world boxing. If Donaire won't be able to pass Gaballo, no more Casimero or Inoue fight in the future.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin(s) would you buy now? on: September 22, 2021, 10:59:25 PM
Which coin(s) would you buy now? I mean during this crash.

IDEX, BNB, AXS, GALA

Idex seems to hit the bottom now so it's good to consider making an entry now. Got profits from playing this coin in a range of 1,100 to 1,600 sats in just a few weeks. BNB is also at a good price based on my view to make another purchase. AXS is hitting with dumps recently so take advantage of it. A slight increase is happening but I'm sure it won't last long. GALA's volume hype is over (not the feature) and anything around its current price is a good entry.

Since there are lots of suggestions, don't be confused and just follow. Not because this coins are part on our list, it should also be the same on your list.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon vs BSC on: September 22, 2021, 10:44:08 PM
How is Polygons potential in the future, can it rival with BSC?

Yes, it can rival BSC. Lots of things are now taking place to improve the network.

But the point here is, why rival? It's better to have lots of alternatives especially about working with cheaper fees. It's good that there are several chains looking for a solution compare during ETH days where people have no choice but to hug those high fees.

Let's see how Polygon can bring a good advantage to us.
2580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: September 22, 2021, 10:32:03 PM
I don't think Tether will ever reach $0, it will never fall too deep and it will never rise too high. That's why Tether is called a stablecoin. maybe some things that might happen in the future will happen like a war or something and it will definitely have an effect because when that happens, the world is not fine.

Even a war won't decrease the value of Tether to something zero. It might even use more.

Hard regulations might come and it might affect Tether's price but Tether is currently the most used stable coin. From a trader's perspective, it's good to have a stable coin for any crypto trading pair to minimize their losses or secure profits without worrying much about price volatility.

I wouldn't trust Tether with my money even if it offers attractive interest rates. As it's said in the real world, it's "better to be safe than sorry". You're better off exchanging your crypto to Fiat than a centralized stablecoin than Tether. Just my thoughts Grin

In the first place, why consider Tether as an investment? Just use the advantage of it. It's not that you will put the majority of your baskets on Tether.
