2561  Other / Archival / Re: Why do many people compare margin trading with gambling? on: September 02, 2021, 09:46:09 PM
...In margin trading, a person with small money can start a business. ..

No, if a trader does not have a sufficient deposit and uses margin trading, this indicates that he is not a successful trader. It is impossible to become a successful trader by ignoring spot trading. And in the process of learning to trade, you should earn enough capital to move to margin trading, which will be based on risk assessment.
Going directly with margin without making yourself aware nor knowledgeable about spot trading is just suicide.I agree that it is really on that gambling side of things when you do deal with margin or futures
but if you do really have sufficient experience and knowledge in regards with trading then you do have at least chance to make your trades succeed but there are really
people who do really love to play with fire which we cant really stop them though aside from those noobs who had just simply been dragged with hype or have seen
some margin trading profits.
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 02, 2021, 08:35:24 PM
How is it really any different from the loyalty/vip programs other sites offer? It's all the same IMO just in a different way.
Exactly and i do have the same thoughts that this isnt something revolutionary but at least we do see some implementations on different aspect which might really poked up some interest in some people

but in general aspect it is really just the same but well it do passed out into my interest and i might having considering on taking a peek on this one for more.
2563  Economy / Economics / Re: The lending problem on: September 01, 2021, 09:46:49 PM
A simple question to the forum - I hope that people can provide sensible answers, since it would be way too easy to preach rather than to reason.

It has been mentioned many times in the forum that banks can be killed by bitcoin and that crypto is a threat for central banks, etc... One of the reasons that make me doubt about that possibility is the worldwide need of having a strong lending and borrowing system. I think that currently DeFi does not offer a realistic solution and that lending eventually has to rely on an intermediary. That, in some way or under a different name, is a bank.

How is this problem addressed currently and how could it be solved at large scale without a "bank" of shorts?
Honestly i wont really be stressing out on something like this or this kind of topic because it would never happen for central banks for it to be replaced by crypto even though im pro-crypto but talking about this possibility is
really lit and couldnt really happen no matter how crypto market will flourish globally. It would never ever able to replace into those services and other key areas on where banking sector is much more efficient and effective
than on considering that crypto would do the job or would  overtaken. So its better not to stress that much in regards to this.
2564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 01, 2021, 08:42:24 PM

I've also read that many gamblers who use credit cards but ultimately can't afford to pay...

If a gambler is authorized to use a credit card in a casino then it will be very dangerous for the gambler as well as the credit card party. In this case, the lender will certainly be at a loss if the borrower is unable to pay their loan. One bad habit of gamblers is that it is difficult to pay loans

now here's the thing
who should be the responsibility for that?
the gambler who didn't control himself, the casino owner or the government?
I tend to believe we should make the people responsible for their decisions
It always end up to the client/user's fault, the casino owner is just doing business while accepting payment and gaining profit, the same time on the credit card party even the lender didn't pay (I guess for some reasons), government get tax from the casino. So, if the gambler is at loss while using the loan on gambling then, he will suffer it the end if he can't pay the loan amount.
As a Casino owner then you wouldnt really mind off on where those funds came from or whats the source of those gamblers been using and the heck, why wouldnt really that matter? Its indeed a personal choice
and there's no other thing to be blamed but the user itself since its his own discretion or decision on using up his neither debit or credit card. You know the risk about spending over your limit
which would really be creating some serious problems later on if you didnt able to stop mid way or simply you had tolerate it out.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life span of bitcoin is till infinity on: September 01, 2021, 07:22:55 PM
When i flashbacks far 2013 and 2014, within that range far back i remember how people were castigating bitcoin as a means of extortion of money, and also a means of scamming peoples money, but today everyone is interested to invest in cryptocurrency and more especially in bitcoin, because from what i observed from little bitcoin seminar program i hosted in my geographical domain even a nursing mother that is approximately forty to forty eight (40-48) years is interested to invest with bitcoin and children in school is already knows what is bitcoin, so with this length of bitcoin awareness in my society i think BTC can stay till infinity.
Nothing do last forever but at least seeing on the current condition where you could really say that this thing would last for more decades to come.It did able to reach this far then to presume that
this would even more progress as long there would be more demand and recognition as we go ahead in future years to come but we shouldnt really remove into our heads on the possibility
that everything would be overtaken by something better.Im not saying that Bitcoin could be replaced by the possibilities are there as long on what the community been thinking because
it will always vary with the interest that had been put up into it.
2566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: August 31, 2021, 11:35:05 PM
any amount can be obtained but it can only be done by professionals with large capital, skills and knowledge. profit $ 5000 in my opinion is very large especially you target within 1 month. it's very fast means you have to get at least 50%-70% profit every day. try to do it and if it works you can share it here for learning together
but op uses $15k in capital, so I think a profit of $5k in 1 month is very possible, because it means a month profit of 30% of capital. especially in a bull market, it will be easier to make a profit, it doesn't even take 1 month to reach the target. Of course, to achieve all of that requires good knowledge in trading on the crypto market
30% is something attainable on this market if you do just know on playing with the volatility even not just depending on price swings or increase then you could really still able to reach out that target on just simply trying to get 3-5% gain on a single day but this would only fit out to those short traders or active ones but it isnt bad if you do go for swings because not all would really be that enough skillful to deal with volatility on active manner.
Profitability will really be varying on your capability and this is where people do differ to each other and this simply means that you wont know if it does work unless you do try.
2567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Booi (Fiat/Crypto Casino) on: August 31, 2021, 10:29:47 PM
This is the sister of Playfortuna casino, I think there is nothing to discuss. I don't advise you to play in any casino where there is a connection with the Playfortuna.
Problems with the withdrawal may arise at any time. Play in real crypto casinos, and this is originally a fiat casino.
Not that really trusting online gambling site reviews since these things could be duped or be used to destroy other competition but what here i do found about
Playfortuna.
https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/reviews/playfortuna-casino
https://www.gamblingsites.com/reviews/play-fortuna/
Both does have contradicting reviews. Also, can you prove out that this site and the one you mentioned is sister basing on what you had claimed?
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: August 31, 2021, 08:59:37 PM
For me good ways to trade is to look for undervalued coins that have potential to rise. When we only look at coins that everybody is talking about then there is not a lot of room for a price increase. In my opinion it is best to spread our money across many coins, so the chance to find the next big rally is much higher.
Not that really an ideal kind of suggestion since when you do talk about undervalued then it is something that is that hardest part of trading. Trading is never been easy since from the start.
Good ways to trade? Gain experience and explore yourself to be sustainable into the market. When you do make yourself to last long then thats considering that you are doing
pretty good and not all would really able to attain this in a very short span of time.
2569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might be ready to pump similar to December 2020 on: August 31, 2021, 07:29:20 PM
I am not quite certain about this, however, this might be a similar set up for bitcoin on December 2020.

-

What I can be quite certain of is traders and whales are opening long positions in the futures market. This is indicated in the advancing on the open interest in the perpetual futures market together with the slow growth in the price of bitcoin.
-

Im not really a fan on going back in the past even just seeing some patterns which we do presume that it could happen also into the future but the probabilities is there since nothing is impossible
and everything is really unpredictable but based off on how bitcoin moves then theres no such pattern that could give out precise prediction on where it would be heading.
It is just people cant really just forget that everytime were heading in the last months of the year then we do already presume that the price might really be having
those new ATH pumps kind of movement.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: August 31, 2021, 06:22:28 PM
I avoid KYC all the time, because databases with information and documents of site members very often go online after hacker attacks... Or dishonest website owners sell all the information on the darknet... This is a fact! I urge everyone to avoid KYC... You don't have to show your identity online, just give your crypto-address (for example)... I think there are many other options instead of KYC!
Yes, even if the casino has a valid operating license and has to use KYC, the concern will remain for fear of having my identity misused.
and i play gambling just for fun and not to make money so for me no need to send my personal id, because i realize gambling is not a good way to make money so i totally avoid KYC.
And when I want to try a new gambling site and I am required to use KYC I will go and I will look for a site that does not require KYC to avoid unwanted things.
We could really have always the options if we wanted to because each of us does have different perception towards kyc. Some doesnt really matter but most of us would really be that mindful.
We are aware about identity thefts or something like that but we should realize that we had been long time exposing our personal identity to the government but somehow if we do
consider the security of those informations compared into those unknown company online then you would really be having different perception between two things
so its up to you neither you would go or not.
2571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins? on: August 30, 2021, 11:28:40 PM
No offense for other countries 🌹

Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins or let's says that Bitcoins are illegal to them?

Many reasons why some countries treated Bitcoins an illegal. But we all know that Bitcoins did not break the rules of the government, in fact Cryptocurrencies are very popular nowadays especially Bitcoin, many people got successful by joining Bitcoin.

In my point of view Bitcoin is not illegal unless you're trying to scam someone. Bitcoins did not steal money from the bank so what's the point we say Bitcoin is illegal?

This do simply tells that you cant really please everybody and its just normal that each country does have its own views and jurisdiction towards bitcoin neither on negative, positive or neutral.
When it comes to blocking or hesitation then it all do talks about its anonymity and being decentralized and as government doesnt really like anonymity then im not really surprised on
why they do really have that kind of treatment. You cant really force off a country that they should adopt or accept bitcoin because they would always be giving out issue
about money laundering or something connected to this.
2572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: August 30, 2021, 10:26:02 PM
Because you are here, I will say crypto.
Why? because I only can trade crypto, not forex.

However, generally, both Forex and Crypto are promising and profitable as long as you really know how to trade.
Each has its own risk and also profits.
I suggest you trade the one that you really know enough, not only based on other people done.
Both markets are very risky and it's no advisable for a newbie to just jump in without any research being done.

With crypto market, there's stop and he can learn from that and with forex, AFAIK, it's higher volatile and quick in phasing with its market so that's why being careful is needed there.
Yes its very risky and there's no market that it is risk free or something easy that you could deal with.It would always be needing that kind of risk taking and skills for you to sustain yourself even lets say that Forex is
not too volatile but since it do move its price with certain scale then you could still possibly lost your capital although in crypto it is much more faster on the sense since its way too volatile.
Crypto trading is where people do really get interested on knowing the chance that you could make out big profits in a short time but people should know about the accompanied risk.
This is something that you can easily engage on without taking some several considerations.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: August 30, 2021, 09:40:50 PM
No idea why such protection is applied for Irish gamblers but gambling addiction can lead to a full credit limit. Not all gamblers are able to control themselves, sometimes government has to intervene for restricting their access and busting the bank account balance. Maybe it is time for Irish gamblers to use the crypto casinos..
This is why they are implementing this, many are using credit cards until they reach their credit limit and I'm sure some of them will not be able to pay their limit and that could be a big problem to both parties especially on the side of gamblers.

Crypto gambling is a good option because only those who have the money can play but if you are already addict in gambling, you'll always find a way. Better to control your gambling activities personally, the government can't totally help you with this one.
I cant say that they wont able to repay those but in most cases they would really be experiencing some problems if spending would really be that excessively high or already on the roof.
Getting credit card isnt something that an ordinary or low earner could easily get which knowing banks which are really that keen on selecting those people or clients that would be granted
there might be some limits but it would neither be big or small depending on someones capacity. Banning credit card is a good move but not totally a solution for addiction problems.
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins survive the dip on: August 30, 2021, 06:25:03 PM
In my opinion, no coin is spared from a decline, even if it is BTC, but a coin that has high integrity has a great chance to survive and grow back after a decline, therefore invest in coins that have potential so that they can provide profits in the future.
Dumps and crashes is inevitable and it is indeed no exemption from that but we are talking here into those coins/projects which do able to recover rather than on completely dying.
Its just needing some common sense on where you should invest on but there are people who do really love to play with fire and instead of sticking with those top coins then they
are tending to invest or put up money into those low cap on where they do really believe that it could really make out some pumps.Well, this is a personal choice or option
but be sure that it does really pay off on higher odds or else then you would end up on holding a shit ton of shit tokens.
2575  Economy / Speculation / Re: The arrival of new people in the world of cryptocurrency is really fun on: August 27, 2021, 09:21:08 PM
It's impressive to see new people keep coming and want to know more about the cryptocurrency world as a whole, google brings new users here to find out what we really should be doing in bitcointalk in particular and cryptocurrencies in general.
Continue to take advantage of this opportunity, learn more sources to expand knowledge, I also want to say welcome to join Bro, this is the most fun discussion place and can provide financial benefits for anyone who has joined, with terms and conditions still valid.

SPIRIT FRIENDS
Opportunity is indeed there but you shouldnt really be that too positive towards crypto when it comes to money making because it wouldnt really be easy as it looks.Adoption is on the move
and recognition does really increase as the years pass by and its no surprise that we are really heading there and considering adoption or integration on real payment transactions
then we have already seen some merchants that do accept now and thats the main purpose on why crypto is been created and we've seen several utilities on where
it could really be applied on.
2576  Economy / Gambling / Re: PLAY FORTUNA Casino [main topic] on: August 27, 2021, 07:55:49 PM
I don't recommend playing here, they have always had problems with withdrawal limits. This is done on purpose so that you lose everything back while you withdraw your winnings in parts.

I think all gambling games have a minimum/withdrawal limit, it's just that the level of withdrawal varies. So when gambling games force you to bet the bonuses you have earned, then I think some other casinos do the same. But partly I agree with you some of the problems they often get are not found in other gambling games in general.

They had very strange withdrawal limits, something around $200 in a day, it is already clear that you shouldn't play at this casino.
Its odd that they do have that kind of limit whereas most of gambling sites on this market doesnt really have that kind of limit as long you do have  the balance  then you can withdraw all the amount that you had.
So this turns out to be some sort of limitation where the remaining funds would be played again in the house in that case which is mostly you would lost it all again.

Btw OP, welcome into this forum and the site isnt looking bad as it sounds but this one do really give us some concern. You should changed up that limit and also try to make
some marketing on this place via signature campaign.
2577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Age will you introduce your child to trading on: August 27, 2021, 06:25:40 PM
As soon as my children get to understand it. I am planning to make my children blockchain professionals, provided they show interest in it. This is the field that is not even started yet and it'll explode soon so there is alot of opportunities that can be availed to become billionaire. So as a profession, it is going to be ideal.
Same thing because telling him/her on early age wouldnt really be that much effective since explaining everything if its still out of its interest then it would really be just useless.
Tell them when they are matured enough on understanding things so that they would really be finding out that Trading is a bit interesting but honestly it is a bit complicated
but depending on how you gonna explain to them but on the time you do tend to explain to them and they dont show any interest then i would say that less likely they
would really be stepping their foot into the market.
2578  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: August 26, 2021, 11:32:15 PM
so yea like will ever just stabilize really low like in 2018 and 2020? or are we at the low?

Bitcoin can always go down.  Will it, it probably will.  Nothing ever linear goes up in a straight line, or always stays stable.  If that was the case everyone would throw there money in.  Crypto including bitcoin has always been volatile and will be fore the foreseeable future.
People do mind off for crypto price to move in a straight line or in a continous basis specially to those who had just recently jumped into this market without learning even with the basics.
They would only realize things if they do experience losses or once reality do really slap into their faces. Bitcoin and all altcoins in the market could neither go down or up and
this market would turn out to be boring if theres no such movement. People do really love mainly about volatility because this is where we do make money or profits.
2579  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crash Gambling Website! betbitcoin247.io on: August 26, 2021, 10:31:59 PM
So an another bustabit clone or crash game we do have here.  Smiley I did check out here https://www.bustabit.com/license.txt and it seems your site isnt listed yet neither you had purchased or not
of their source code. Honestly, i dont see any interest too much on crash games nowadays since the market had been flooded out tons of it but still i would say good luck with the business.
2580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: August 26, 2021, 09:35:39 PM
Those who advocate hodling, when do you cash out?

I mean, dying hodling is not the plan, is it? Eventually, you'd need to enjoy the fruits of your patience, right? When is that, when someone says "hodl"? Is it a savings plan? A retirement fund? What does it mean to hodl?

Patience and waiting sometimes benefit more than selling and rushing, so you have to develop a good plan to manage your capital tightly so that you trade part of it and sell at the height that satisfies you and keep another part for investment in the long term, and thus you are profiting now and in the future as well.

Patience with the right plan, that will benefit you because you know when exactly you will sell. You cannot be certain as to what time you'll sell but you'll know you'll sell when you reach your target profit, that's called being smart and able to control your greediness because if not, you might end up panicking and will only waste your time and effort for waiting.
Having investment and making some plans on when to sell is something not that easy because we've seen on how this market moves and the possibly opportunities that you could experience
and this is why lots had decided on holding up for long term or no matter what happens to the market and there are people who are really diamond hands to do that but if we do go into
the realistic side of things then it would be more worth of if we do able to see profits on short term duration and make some re-rolling until you do make your investment way more
bigger compared as before.
