Does anybody know how the PODC Updates works? I the past, I was having 4-6 Updates every day and now I have only one (+ some others that I force manually just in case).
Why is the number of updates not consistent? What is the minimum number of updates per day to receive PODC payments?

Hello Are you counting Rosetta or WCG or both? Rosetta And your mining machine is running 24/7 ? You only need One to actually reach the network in 24 hours to be paid (as long as you have been sending at least one per day). But our network spork setting is designed to send 4 per 24 hours. |

For those fasting, a thought or two.
Our God is not a short-term thinker. He works and guides our actions to His plan in ways that can be hard to understand, but we can rest assured that the architect of the universe is in control.
The Bible tells us over and over of His love and His attention, and that we can trust in His promises. He has plans not to harm us, but to raise us up and to make us a shining beacon to the world when we act in His name with a clear mind and a right heart.
That isn't to say necessarily that everything will always work the way we want it to, but that it will work out the way He commands, and that's far better. Ask for wisdom and it will be granted. Ask for clarity, and for how we can best use our skills and passions in His name to reach the world and to take care of our brothers and sisters that need help.
Things may become darker, but what the world sees and what we perceive when we examine the world through His lens can be very different. I pray for a supernatural intervention, for opportunity to grow, and for a peace that surpasses understanding.
Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.

Hello, Does anybody knows if the BTC wallet in C-CEX is out of sync? When I check here: https://c-cex.com/?id=wsI see that the wallet was not synced since 20 days.  I think that is the last entry for maintenance on bitcoin. I havent had any complaints of c-cex deposit with bbp. Please try depositing 100 bbp and click refresh and if it says "waiting for confirmations" then you can send more. BBP withdrawals from C-CEX to my bbp wallet is working very well. I am concern about BTC wallet in C-CEX that says "Out of Sync". I'm not sure if BTC depostis/withdrawals are safe with the BTC wallet in this state. Do you know what I mean? Sorry, I didn't read your post the first time correctly. Thats not a good sign. Lets pray that someone can tell us their bitcoin wallet is OK. I know its an expensive test: $17 to move .0001 btc is too expensive to test it. |

Rob I smell hints of Slovakia too, wouldnt be first time he impersonated as a woman  (Rene on Facebook) Yeah, after that nice post from Jaap, (s)he just basically crapped on him, which is also Slovakia like. I have a strange impression it might be Slovakia selling out on c-cex but I could be wrong. |

Please keep in mind that the foremost reason Rob started BiblePay is to be able to GIVE TO CHARITY. That '10% to charity' is and will always be an essential part of BiblePay. We need to keep adding value to BiblePay to please the users, so that we can keep on giving (hopefully more and more).
Give 5% from PODC and 5% PoBH to Orphans and no monthly orphan proposalIt did make me think about the structure of 10% charity as a monthly superblock you vote on. People could vote no. 10% to charity, is in my mind, like tithing... so perhaps we can consider getting 10% from PoBH and PoDC. Instead of 38.5% PoBH and PoDC received 33.5%. Then, it really is giving 10% of your earnings to God and in this way, we are using the tithed funds for the mission of helping the poor. Right now, 10% you vote on via monthly superblock doesn't feel like a sacrifice at all... This way, the sell pressure from the monthly superblock is less of an issue. Reduce 300 orphans to 100 orphans going forwardI really think we need to vote down the next Compassion monthly superblock and just go back to supporting 100 orphans only. We have good intentions but support 300 orphans is not sustainable long-term without heavy participation from the crypto community and daily utility from the coin. I believe we can get there, but we are not in that position yet. You have to cut expenses because the income is not there. Even not requiring team membership is not going to attract a lot of people. GridCoin people coming over may be only for Rosetta@Home & WCG. Byteball doesn't require Team to earn ByteBall, but they are less than 1% of the WCG total rac. Compare that to BiblePay which is much harder to join. I helped with tech support on BiblePay Air Drop, so I know first hand all the questions people ask and the dozens of people I had to handhold. ByteBall you just download the app and do a few things to get recurring payment. You'd think they would have everyone on WCG participating but that's not the case... So, the removing team requirement will not be meaningful. This mean, we still have an income problem. And the other way to attack an income problem is to reduce your expenses.Im against these two ideas because: 1) We will be a true DAO if we continue to find high efficiency charities and vote them in as we do (with our proposal system) 2) We established a track record of 10% for charity, and its better to keep our promises over the long term 3) Reducing the 300 level: We already have a continuity plan, and that is when our buffer runs out, we automatically reduce the amount we spend at compassion. If for example we only raise 50% of the necessary expense and we already used up our buffer, then we will atomatically drop 50% of our compassion orphans (I hope that doesnt happen). Our system is self correcting. Then going forward we would be funding 150, until the next drastic drop, etc. I will most likely be suggesting one unusual month for compassion this month however (IE 90% of our budget to compassion), and then suggesting we go back to normal starting next month. Another words, one big push to keep compassion and fast for our stability, and then next month, if we are still in the 10 satoshi range, we revert back to our normal size budget (IE 7 million for charity) and normal payroll, and our vendors start taking hits (based on lower liquidation amounts out of the 7 million). |

Almost every masternode coin is exactly at the same market situation: no buy orders, no money. This is not a BBP only problem.
We must keep on working and make a difference when the tide turns.
Amen. Btw, I put a command in the next version to help us diagnose the watchdog expired payments: masternodelist full : it has a column at the end called IsValidForPayment (Yes/No). I updated the spork to 0 last night, so once we upgrade, lets check it out in prod. |

Please provide one watchdog expired masternode who is in the upcoming masternode winners list.
Looking at the code, we are no longer voting for those masternodes.
At this very moment (block #68247): Block 68247: BTFT5kkUDwDg7KWpd7snL1BZAN5KgemRsN Block 68256: B7SvqHBccPR8iYTq8rbjzpEqiGFnAT8hGg Block 68257: BQ1QoPAtgEoZRkDv8s5Jf4qnCoWLwgspH1 All these are seen as WATCHDOG_EXPIRED in Biblepay-Central. However in my desktop wallet they appear as NEW_START_REQUIRED. This could be some delay or glitch in biblepaycentral monitoring. Ok thanks, that gives me something to look at. |

According to biblepay-central, there are 213 enabled masternodes. The rest are mostly in states like 'NEW_START_REQUIRED' or 'WATCHDOG_EXPIRED'. And now the WATCHDOG_EXPIRED nodes don't get paid, so they will probably be taking them offline or fixing them soon. Still MNs are getting paid about every 36 hours which fits best with an active number of 300 rather than than 210 (that would mean a 24h frecuency). Please provide one watchdog expired masternode who is in the upcoming masternode winners list. Looking at the code, we are no longer voting for those masternodes. |

I have not seen good documentation on how/where the superblock contracts are executed.. I don't mind looking if I have a starting place. For the unbanked, where are the updates to the blockchain posted, is this hosted through pool.biblepay? Just put logging in your DownloadDistributedComputingFile code and type exec dcc, and see if it creates a contract with your unbanked cpid or not. If you isolate the problem then let us know what piece of our system isnt pulling the cpid. Also consider that all sancs compete to create a contract in a decentralized environment. They each get the data from boinc separately. The unbanked list has a number 1 on the exec datalist dcc record to show its unbanked. |
