Before the start of the season, many are predicting already (including me) that the 2 teams that will face coming into the NBA Finals will be the Lakers and the Nets.
Now the Lakers are below 500 and currently at the 9th position and the Nets are in a 8 game losing streak, currently in the 7th place and only 1.5 games above the 9th spot Hornets.
Right now the Nets are in a big trouble. I think one problem of the team is their inside defense because most of the time they are playing small ball and it doesn't work for them like in this game. They gave up 64 pts in the paint against only 32 for them. I think this is one of their problem. They don't have good defenders inside the paint that can stop those bigs in the opposing team. Durant might sit up for a bit longer and TBH, it will be hard for them to go up again.
I confess that I was one of those people too... I almost made a bet with my friends saying that this season's NBA Finals would be between Lakers vs Nets (I'm glad I didn't bet lol) Anyway... I don't know what is happening with the Nets, the Lakers are another team that also surprised me, I would never imagine that a team like the Nets or Lakers are in the situation we see today. I sincerely hope they get better as soon as possible. I know that the injuries of some players, lack of motivation and lack of chemistry between players can be the real reason for this bad performance of these teams! I just see match replay Lakers vs Night, when I look at them, I believe they will rise soon, I don't know what the problem is where you are thinking like that (maybe the age factor of LeBron). Lakers catch up 21 points left and LeBron also created Triple double points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, that look good when there is no escort from Newyork players. their mistake was in the extra 5 minutes, Seems like lose their spirit, which was just a small mistake Night was able to get the points in the last minutes. Lebron is still playing high level basketball, so there is no problem from him. I think when AD went down, there issue has become more evident. Losing close games even to lower tier teams. But now that AD is back they started to win again and Lebron having good numbers this season. It's time for others to really step up, I looking at THT, remember he was not involved in the block buster with Washington, they rather have Kuzma, KCP and Trez and future picks And then there is also the supposedly trade about Lowry, but Raptors wanted to include THT but the Lakers don't want to. But now look at THT's game, still way below what is expected from this kid. His supposed to be the future of Lakers, but I have doubts now, just saying. |

the first week of January we were together with very bearish market conditions while the first week of February only saw a few percent bullrun from the previous month, it looks like bitcoin has got support again and hopes are getting better in the future. bitcoin is now at $41k where previously bitcoin had fallen at $36k or its equivalent.
This is also what I'm trying to understand, it seems that it has move, from January, now it's February and it started to be very bullish moving up to $41k and looking sharp and ready for another break out run. So maybe the best thing to do right now is see what February brings previously and look for correlation if at the end of the year we will be very bullish or not. |

The deadline is getting closer, and there are a lot of rumors around Simmons' trade. As far as I know, the Kings are no longer interested in him, but the Hawks discuss with the 76ers the exchange of Collins for Simmons. There is also news that the 76ers are interested in Harden, and they are ready to trade Simmons and other players for him. Honestly, I think this deal is unlikely. I don't know how Harden trade is possible. I think he is already locked for this season with the Brooklyn Nets or am I missing something? Can't believe the Ben Simmons saga lasted until trade deadline or within All-Star game. What team will sign him based on your view guys? Well initially it was Sacramento that is interested on him, then the news just fizzled out. Harden names pop up because Sixers is interested on him most probably next season. That's why they needed to trade Simmons now and there are rumors that they want to include Harris as well to clear some salary cap in order to get Harden. So lets hope that he will be traded in the deadline, so that this drama will be over and Ben can play again. |

Casimero deserves to have a bigger fight, or a fight with Inoue to be specific, he is just trash talking so he can get the attention of the world that he exist as a champion and that they should watch him fight. It's just a strategy on how to increase the sales, we know that Casimero does not sell fight more than Inoue can, and that's because Inoue is working with a great promoter which is Bob Arum.
Maybe sales is priority but in an unification fight, regardless of the sales and the hype, both champion should meet at the ring to unified their respective titles. It's not about with the sales but the fight should happen no matter what. Bob Arum influence also a big help that both boxers no need to trash talk and the fight will be profitable by only his actions. I guess at some point, when there's no more opponents in the line for Inoue, regardless of sales and hype, this two will have to face each other. So it's really unavoidable in their career, as they are both on the same division, has the belt (assuming Casimero will win against Butler). Bob Arum is one of the best managers in boxing, he knows how to set up a fight that will generate money. So the Inoue vs Casimero will be profitable for him so it's just the timing on when to have this fight. |

Could we not even say your 25k figure was a bit low?
I think people might look to buy at 25k or 30k so much that it COULD drop down back to the 28.3k we saw last time and then take a large bounce up from there (I made a thread here a few weeks before then saying I didn't think it was unreasonable for us to hit near 29k but not go below it, and we got into the 28k regions then so)...
The support of 30K is very strong and it is very important to hold this support to save Bitcoin from a long-term bear market. I think the market can go in any direction but before that, the price of bitcoin should touch 28k once at least. Maybe it's a flash crash to liquidate futures traders. The month of February is going to be very important for Bitcoin. This is my observation. Support will always be there, and as long as it can defend that line, it will. But we should look at the current sentiments, fear are inside the market, volumes is very low. So maybe there is a chance that the support line could break apart if there is huge pressure coming to the market from the bears. So for me, we might see a bear price of below $30k. Maybe not this month, but in the coming month, and this could be the perfect time to buy. |

Watching the Pistons vs T'Wolves, T'wolves got hot early but I love the tenacity of Pistons right now.
They are the underdog in their home court, obviously they don't have a good record, but they can bang and compete against the best specially if they are playing in their home court. The T'Wolves are the favorite here, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pistons pull a surprise upset or T'Wolves might win but not enough to cover the initial spread (-6.5 if I'm not mistaken).
The Wolves are now leading, late in the 3rd, it was KAT who took over getting fouled and going to the free throws. And it seems that the Pistons are just a 3rd quarter team, now they are trailing 7 points and up. Grant could be the centerpiece of this team, but he needs to be consistent and so is the supporting cast. They can't just go out and play good up to the 3rd quarter alone. |

As for the ring rust, it's two fold, sometimes the fighter that takes a lot of break can come back strong and rejuvenated. Actually he really need to take a rest after his defeat to Pacquiao. Not just because of the lost, but he has some injuries that needs time to heal. So he is back 100% in this fight and could be rejuvenated and shows that he is back in this division and that he is a former belt holder way before Crawford appears in 147 and Spence Jr showing himself in the welterweight. |

Regarding a 3rd fight with Canelo, let's not close the door, Canelo's coach said in an interview that the fight can be make in the future.

No update yet for this fight?
As others have said, time is running out for GGG here, yes I know that that pandemic messes it up again, but maybe GGG can have a replacement fight for the time being instead of waiting for this fight that might be push thorough or this might be totally scratch if the situation in Japan does not improved in the next couple of months. I'm thinking that GGG can get a fight in Europe, like a get busy fight and then get Murata later in the year.
Good point, GGG's handlers should find another fight while waiting. If that's possible, it's better for him to take it. There's no update yet if what's the new stand from Japan, the virus still spreading in many places in the world, and japan as one of those countries who really taking this problem seriously. They are not letting any event like to happen to avoid making mistake and allow wide spread to happen inside their country's. It's about time for GGG to move forward and see any possible alternative to keep his name on hype. It's not easy for GGG to prepare for another fight and then fight again once the schedule is settled. He is not getting any younger and he is not as active as Canelo who can fight 3 to 4 times in a year, so I guess he will just wait for the schedule so he would not exert too much effort for multiple fights. Why would it be harder though? I mean he has prepared for the Murata fight already and now that it is postpone, for sure his training is going to be postpone as well because he can't just go to the gym everyday training because he will have a burn out. In the past, this has been the case on some days, but not yet in the long run. For example, in December 2021, Ethereum inflation was around 1.8%.
And just to add to that, we even don't know what is already real numbers are far is circulation is concern. So no, i don't think that Ethereum will be deflationary, unless they really made some changes which I doubt that devs are prioritizing right now. |

Corrections will always be here though, even in the bull market last year there was a lot of corrections along the way. And if we are really in a bearish trend, then most likely we will see more of this downward spiral and then bounce back.
So for those weak hands that sold, maybe they can get back in the market if the price goes down again. That is if they are smart enough to take advantage of every dip.
Those words are very relatable for me. It's like this for me right now, every time I buy something, it gets worse. While I understand the solution is to keep buying, how can I do it when I have a small balance? Even though I'm in poor condition, such a post motivated me to keep buying, but I'm literally out of money this time around. Would you suggest selling everything, getting some cash, and proving myself smart enough to take advantage of every dip? I'm not a financial adviser, but if you have limited funds and have used it already then no need to buy more. Just buy if you have the money and don't force and make things complicated for you. I mean if you buy like $40k, then just hold on those bitcoins and not sell (obviously you are at a loss if you sold today). And look at the future, in the next bull run your bitcoin is going to be worth more, just saying. |

Been enjoying watching the young Memphis team play with swagger all year. Ja is going to be the face of the nba soon enough (pissed the Knicks were one pick short of ja  ) Tonight Memphis comes to MSG, would like to see the Knicks stopping messing around and play some inspired basketball. Winning tonight would go a long way to changing the course of the season. RJ better be up for this game. Wild card is quentin grimes keeping Bane and/or ja in check. Hope thibs starts grimes need his d out there tonight. Morant is definitely an up and coming MVP in my opinion. However, I wouldn't bet my money on him staying healthy the whole way. The way he plays is very Rose-esque and I don't feel like it is particularly sustainable. Hopefully he does without his one-legged landings and start to work on the way he preserves his body as well as how he actually plays. Exactly, reminded me of how freakish athletic DRose is during his prime with the Chicago Bulls, but he didn't remain healthy and we all know that after that horrific injury, he wasn't the same anymore. Hopefully this is not the case or not going to happen to Ja Morant so that he can give us a lot of exciting plays in his career. Ad who knows, maybe he can be a MVP in the future. |

I also want to take Denver but i'll wait until tipoff since Jokic is questionable still I think he'll play since he's also questionable yesterday against the Timberwolves. For now, i'm going with the public as I somewhat like the Grizzlies to beat the Knicks even though they're on a back to back it's just that the Knicks have been on and off.  Same bet, but with a parlay again with another game. Grizzlies built a nice lead, about 20 points at one point but at half-time is it about 12. Ja Morant again showing flashes of his athleticism with a great dunk, but the team built that lead mostly without him. So it's going to be interesting how the game will turn out and hopefully we can win our bet. |

At the moment bitcoin is still very difficult to break through the $40K price resistance and it looks like there will be a slight price drop in the market in the near future to seek support from the whales, I think now it's better for us to see and wait where bitcoin goes next rather than rushing into it market, it will be very risky if we enter the market without doing the right analysis because all possibilities can happen later.
Yes, as I have said in another post, we have difficulty breaking the $40,000 barrier even next month. So if this happens, then we might see another downward spiral maybe hitting < $30,000. I know I sounded like a doom and loop, but it is what it is, we are in a bear market. And since it is early this year, perhaps it's better to wait for the price to still go down a bit before entering the market. |

He has to change his style, he cannot go toe to toe already knowing he has a weak chin. I think he has to improve a bit and be quicker so he can score and avoid getting KO by his opponent, I know he has some good talent in boxing, he can use that but like I said, he has to avoid to fight toe to toe, he has to be smart all the time, never use his emotion, instead, always stick to the game plan.
Yeah, he needed to work it out after being exposed, but to offer an entertaining fight both fighters needs to excel and try their best to adjust, if they are aiming to take their shots for another possible title fight, these two fighters should give everything to hype up and bring more interest, their absence might affects their skills but they still got enough time to prepare. If possible, an entertaining and not a boring fight to come between these two former champs..   For sure this is going to be entertaining, and there could be a lot of trash talk and fanfare in the media, specially during their face off because this two has something to settle as far as fan based is concern in the UK. This is fall short of an exhibition match, but at least they are really going to fight and punch each other out. But still Kell Brook is more solid as this point that Amir Khan. |
