Russia is preparing amendments to the current legislation to allow for the confiscation of crypto assets found to be proceeds from crime, Tass reported Wednesday.
The question is: how will they know if the cryptocurrency is a result of a crime? Basing on what I read here, this legislation is not actually banning the whole thing but aiding the prosecution of someone who committed a crime and is using cryptocurrency in doing so. But then again, since we are talking here of Russia where laws are not really respected and can be use to advance the agenda of those in power, this can be a sign to be cautious if one is involved with cryptocurrency. Better be careful than sorry.

I can still remember those years when forks were then a trendy and people can still be swayed to support them. right now, we don't care already if there will be another fork of Bitcoin or not because we are now sure that spinoffs will never be better than the original and that they will never be able to be on the same level as Bitcoin. Now, having said that, I don't really think that these spinoffs popular or not are big hindrance to the growth of Bitcoin...this is not like those fake designer jeans coming from sweatshop of some developing countries.

This is my first time to officially hear such a term: cryptophobia and to some degree i have to agree to the description above. Now, there are some famous personalities who have the habit of criticizing Bitcoin whenever they can, maybe they can be classified under this term. as for me, I have that fear of opening my little portfolio whenever there is an ongoing dip like right now but would gladly to be checking always whenever there is a bull run...so can I say that to some extent I also have this "sickness" called cryptophobia?

DogeCoin is a meme coin that the market has took seriously. Started more like a joke, it eventually stand on its own and became one of the biggest and most known cryptocurrency. However, we have to admit and I am sure many would agree that there are many things lacking on this coin and for a start it is not doing good as far as use-cases can be concerned and this can be the reason why even its godfather Elon Musk was calling for more developments on the coin. Now, am not saying that this is not a good coin because as far as I know it will always be the market that determines that by means of their investing vote.

I am sure that Ethereum has a bigger room to grow but it is assuming that it will be successful in dealing with the many challenges thrown into it like its scalability issues and the unbelievable tx fees the network is getting into which actually a factor why we are seeing the rise of BSC. Ethereum has many use-cases compared to Bitcoin and I heard this from possible experts who are bullish on Eth but it does not mean that eventually Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in terms of market dominance.

The fate of XRP rest on winning the case lodged against it by SEC and I heard there are some good developments that can be clues that eventually the ruling can be favorable - of course what we are hearing can be one-sided as we are always getting the news from crypto sites. This can be the breakthrough that XRP is waiting...and we are waiting in suspense for now. As to TRX, yeah it is a good choice but I observed that this coin is really having a hard time to make some good pumps even during the recent bull run but anyway it still has the big potential and more room to grow - let's see if Justin Sun can have more secret tactics on his sleeves.

To be honest I avoid all meme tokens because I cannot see good point in the long term to hold those meme. I don't want to become one of the victim again from those fake potential token. I now decided to invest in real potential one particularly related to NFT because NFT now is moving crazy. That's my observation.
By its very name, meme coins are actually just jokers and in cards they have no real value at all. yes, there can be some meme coins that will eventually evolve to become a serious player just like Dogecoin and Shiba but majority of them are just thrash. People who invested in meme coins know full well the risks involved and possible rewards if there can be a mooning to happen...now all of those who innocently just came in and was swayed by the appeal of greed may have failed to know well what they are getting into and they must first be members of this forum to get the right mindset and education.

I have an account in ShapeShift as it is also being promoted in the CaptainBitcoin platform but I have not really done trading in the site so that means I will still be getting zero. I have a high respect of this exchange and I believe it should have been ranking good. I am glad to see that it seems to be leveling up its promotions so more and more people can come on board and do their crypto business in there but I do wish they become more pro-active by introducing new innovations to the marketplace.

We can be in for some little surprise by next week when there will actually no bloodbath on Bitcoin and instead there can be a mini pump. I don't believe that there will be an avalanche of big holders that will dump their coins into the market - at least not at this price. If these people can hold for 6 months then they can hold a little more. Of course, am just predicting of my own and as to what will actually happen that can beyond our own control.

One rule you have to follow in investing especially in cryptocurrency is never put up more than what you can afford to lose. And rule number 2 is never be swayed to the appeal of greed which is what most meme tokens are using to attract as many investors as possible. Now, you are learning the biggest lesson in your investing life. Learned those big lessons and never give up...in no time at all you may start gaining back what you lost. I am praying for you now. I am wishing you more strength so you can handle this big predicament you are into.

The dogecoin hype by Elon Musk is just a strategy to get public attention to dogecoin since he is a whale in there that is why he is called the dogecoin father. But the fact is for dogecoin to compete with Bitcoin in whatever aspect it needs more development and changes in its network to boost investor confidence because to me dogecoin is just a meme coin created as a joke and open to manipulation.
I am sure that he is soon planning to sell or make a big profit from his Dogecoin that is why he again tried to say something that can possibly prop up the price of the coin in the market. I really don't understand how we came into this situation where the price of a coin is heavily dependent on what some people would say...is that not a sign of weakness to an asset? Words are empty and they can only be be gaining some weight when the people listening to them are taking action. The problem is that there are still some people who can be swayed by Mr. Elon or maybe thinking that other people will be swayed by Mr. Elon and that is the course of action then taken.

Since we can never stop these people to come up with new projects based on another's person tweets, then maybe the best thing we can do is to ignore them and never support them financially. However, we know that greed is the best to tap when it comes to meme tokens or just plain shitcoins...they are promising good ROI for every invested dollars...some are promises fulfilled but most are just promises empty and barren. This is one sad side of the world of cryptocurrency since we are still heavily unregulated. The truth is glaring to anyone willing to accept the truth; We are in here for the money and people are using their own creativity or just borrowed from someone else to come up with something and look for people to "invest" on what they are building.

are you planning to accept volunteer in Asia ? or at least other continent aside from America?
you are working really hard to Help homeless at least feeding them for a day os one good thing for survival .
yes, we are accepting help from anywhere in the world. We actually had some people from Korea help us (check out the blog). If you can print out the flyers, take pictures of everything including the receipt, buy/hand out food - we will reimburse all food. Let me know if you're really serious about it! I am sure that this idea can be adopted anywhere and if there can be homeless in a developed country like USA how much more in less-developed countries like in Asia. Here in my country, the ongoing pandemic pushed a lot of people to poverty. But I am a strong believer in a band-aid type of work...as I prefer development type of helping people get on their knees so they can do the fishing again. Are you open to this idea?

No Saylor didn't tweeted it but with the speed they are accumulating it won't be a shock that they own 20% of Bitcoin supply and let us assume he doesn't do that but anyone can do that if they have money, if a person i really really really rich then sure he can buy 20% of BTC and that's not fair to other people,
See tbh I also don't know am I right or wrong I just had a thought and wanted people's opinion what I am thinking is right or wrong, but trust me HODLING BTC is not a good thing ONLY IF YOU WANT IT TO BE A CURRENCY, otherwise if you treat it as a Digital Gold which was it meant to be then HODLING is not at all a issue.
People will not be holding Bitcoin if it has no value and if everybody is thinking that it will not pump again and will soon be zero in value. You see, a big number of Bitcoin holders are speculators and no speculators will wish that what he is holding will be going down...it is always up and if that is the case then a person will surely continue to be holding that coin or Bitcoin. The problem is that if Bitcoin has no chance to go up, I don't think there will even be 5% pf the holders will remain holding it and I don't think either anybody will be excited about it. Bitcoin's volatility is a two-edged sword repelling some people and attracting a bigger number into it. Is it good as an asset and not as a currency? Maybe yes and there is actually nothing wrong with that because that is not the fault of Bitcoin...that thing is being decided by us the people. And who knows what the future may bring...
