Oh please. the way banknotes started in the first place is merchants wanted to store their gold at a bank, rather than lugging it around themselves or setting up their own fort and small militia to protect it. Then they were issued a piece of paper, a banknote. When the bankers discovered people were using the banknotes like money, they discovered a way to loan people paper and run a fractional reserve. It doesn't matter what medium you use as money. Someone is going to find a way to put them self in the middle and exact their usurious fees. Or just plain use force or stealth and outright steal your bounty. Weirdness, Gemini and Bitstamp switched, Gemini would follow Bitstamp almost always but today the price is following wing gemini. Gemini is a highly regulated exchange I wonder if this has anything to do with the US announcing that they'll look into manipulation.

Because this coin is a scam with 99.9% possibility, i think.
Now there are 10Mh total of network, diff 0.0888, i pointed 4Mh to my wallet for 30 minutes and saw, that my accept rate is 1:25 (!!) but my hashrate to network is 1:3.5 (4Mh is mine, 14Mh total), so i get 7.15 times lower than could be. Shitcoin.
What makes it a scam the fact that its on the back shelf or what? FRK had a fair launch, no premine, no instamine, low reward, low inflation. Just good ol honest work and it couldnt compete against the scams of the day. People wanted something different than what FRK offered. They still do. But im glad to see people who arnt me stepping up. The more people step up the more willing I am to rejoin the project. you back from vacation?  lol |

What platform is emc 2 developing now? i am wondering Is there any news to distribute to the media?
We are currently doing a number of things: 1) Crowd funding platform - Provides an opportunity for organizations all over the world to expose the community to their projects. Will also be live for EMC2 holders to vote for the Einsteinium Awards. This will be released by the end of June. 2) Core updates : Lightning Network implementation, transparency and accountability features (including required explanations of withdrawals for organizations which accept EMC2 as a donation/gift). Then later (fall 2018) master nodes. Future plans include 0 risk feature to reduce volatility which will enable charities and other organizations a better means of liquidation for necessary payments. We intend to be the most transparent coin in existence, while also providing the most advanced features of crypto including near instantaneous transactions, low fees (under $1), and highest Tx/Sec.3) Further integration with ATW Tech into mobile gaming platforms and other TBA partnerships/integrations 4) Weee for iOS and then available for App Store/Google Play. (There is not a set date for these release yet but will be in 2018) 5) Further trading pairs, accessibility and conversion. Did satoshi and the core devs build bitcoin because the thought it was going to moon and be the new world reserve currency or just because it was a fun tech project? bitcoin came from the occupy wall street movement...! ~it was to bring clarity to the financial markets...lol Bitcoin came 3 years before Occupy... satoshi was busy back then lol |

Lots of drama here...I don't understand something...if monetary side of things is not important, why put
coin on exchange at all? Just do it on blockchain only and make everyone happy...TRUE supporters of the project
will be happy with project, and rest of people won't even have chance to lose money...everyone happy.

This is what happens when you interpret false "facts". No one said the "monetary side of things is not important". The way I see what Ben K. meant, is they will stick with their roadmap and won't change the plan in order to have a short-term gain. Thank god they're working that way. Otherwise, I'd be gone a long time ago. "People behind [this] project" didn't make the coin. They "inherited" abandoned project and brought it back to life. That being said, I hope they have some coins on their personal wallets. That would be additional motivation for further development. Honestly, I'd be scared knowing they have nothing to lose. Besides, do you know any project where developers don't own any coins? But that brings me to the beginning of my post. Development continues as planned. No shortcuts. We are one ... We do not have ONE EMC2 coin. Yet we will back and help all we can due to the diligence and focus the EMC2 team has proven time and time again. We work the same, which is why it is great to see such a team that are along the same path that we (CWI) take also. I have always said in our projects (not stating that is what the EMC2 team are saying), that money has never been the goal, but a consequence. Einsteinium has proven many times over that it is about the project and not about the money. It is a good thing that money comes in trickles, waves or nothing at all., but it is FAR better to have focus on the core goal than the monetary result. What is done in the backend is ALWAYS translatable to the front. This is never shown at first, but is always something that filters through for all to see when the backend goals are reached. Initially, there is nothing to see except a few posts here and there, and when the backend (the EMC2 team) goals are met, the frontend (all YOU) see it. That is how it works and always will. Unless scams and ripoffs are abound, like the MANY that have done so in the past year. Marketing flash and hype to suck your money then disappear. No backend work, no REAL developments happening, just flare and flash with no substance. Try and prove that about the EMC2 project? Always something going on and always something happening, whether in the development, website, partnerships, or just plain people in the community working towards a better project. We have no money in EMC2 now, but that does not mean we will not back the project or have EMC2 in future. Always look at the core, before you state what is obviously a lie, which means that I am in total agreement with you in that the plan is always the focus, and not the money. Money is the consequence, and we work the same way. There are many sites offering fully regulatory compliant cryptocurrencies and offer ways for artists to raise funds with 100% legal and compliant cryptographically unique collectibles that can be bought and traded by anyone including the many millions of music fans who are under the age of 18?
