2581  Economy / Speculation / Re: The good moves of Bitcoin. on: January 13, 2022, 06:27:19 AM
I think, Currently bitcoin is entering the accumulation phase.
Accumulation phase? That's great if you really want to collect more bitcoin during a downturn. Of course people who believe in the potential that bitcoin will achieve in the future will collect more bitcoin, but not everyone can do it because of limited capital. You can't really accumulate bitcoin if you don't have capital. Accumulation is also not only done when the price down, but if the goal of this investment is for the long term then someone will do it at any price.

I see on the price chart that bitcoin is testing the price post auto-rally recently, to determine its strength highs as well as secondary tests. Besides that, I suspect the time span needed in this accumulation phase is faster than the previous Accumulation phase. therefore, only time will tell how the continuation of bitcoin price movements in the future.
Today, after the price of bitcoin had dropped below $40K, now the recovery is fast. The market's response to holding price above $40K was so rapid that price did not fall further. Bitcoin price is currently bouncing back to $41K where there was a small pump from $39K to $42K. That's certainly good in the short term, but we expect something bigger in the long term.
Bitcoin price has already reached $43,803 so i think there is a strong momentum for bitcoin right now as its increasing rapidly. This is the good thing about bitcoin because even if a lot of us had predicted already that bitcoin will definitely enter a bearish season after this correction, but look at it where it is heading to? Although we are still unsure what will be the next move of bitcoin, but i'm happy to see that bitcoin is slowly recovering and this might be a good sign that we are heading into the bright side of the market.
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we avoid scams in blockchain? on: January 13, 2022, 05:41:19 AM
It would be great if it could help reduce scams in the blockchain world. But besides that here we must also be able to avoid the scam itself. Starting from oneself to choose a project that is good, it can be seen from the team and also the concept. Do not be tempted by attractive offers that do not make sense because they are usually signs of a scam. But if it is said that CheckDot can help avoid scams of course it will be very useful and helpful especially for people who are really having a hard time choosing a project to follow.
But do not just rely alone on CheckDot as it has no full assurance that it will really point out a scam project. Its better to make a depth in research or DYOR so you can analyze whether the project is legit enough or may fall into scam as it has no clear identities of the staff behind or its own whitepaper has set its goal that is too far to be achieved. Plus projects with too good to be true offers usually fall into scams in the end.
2583  Economy / Economics / Re: Sharing and helping others on: January 12, 2022, 07:57:53 PM
Sharing that knowledge will be better, with that knowledge it will benefit him.

Agreed, and with the current situation in which everyone requires assistance due to the pandemic, we should share our food or possessions with those who do not have food or possessions, as it is extremely difficult right now. It is also very fulfilling for us if we help others, no matter how small or big, because it is a huge help to them. As long as we have enough things or food, we should share it with those who do not have it so that they can survive or not overthink what they should do.

You are right, in these difficult moments it is good to help others, because it is not known how bad other people are going through, there are in some cases that people may need some items such as food, medicine and other things in general In general, teleworking is taking place a lot, which is very fashionable and is what companies are choosing not to leave their staff and meet the goals imposed by work, when someone teaches you something related to crypto or anything It should always be well received for that gesture, because it is well known that the more you know about something, the more money you can earn.

Actually what i have seen from my experience that youth is more helpful than older people. I can still remember my friends run a campaign in winter for homeless children when they raise funds and distribute warm cloths to those children who's parents can not afford enough cloths. My friends were 18 to 22 years old by that time. Help people in need is a great virtue for a human being and if you have that i can say you are lucky.
Well, that's the good thing of being a helpful person because you can't just stand there watching those children struggling, you will surely find a way that will help them in all means. But i think when it comes to bitcoin, its different. People have been brainwashed already and already believe that bitcoin is a scam so its hard for us to help them to learn since they are already close minded about that. I think it will be better if we let them learn on their own with their own will and interest, and we will just be around ready to guide them.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 12, 2022, 11:19:49 AM
I don't see any problem with Inoue jumping to 122 lbs. Because sooner or later Casimero will also have to jump on that weight classes so that fight is still on between the two.

Not sure about Donaire though, it seems that he is fine with staying at 118 lbs and we all know that he is not getting any younger to bouncing off in weight might be a big problem for him in the future.

He is comfortable with that weight class and I don't think he still has a lot left to move up again, he wants to unify the belt so he has to fight the two champions and I hope he will have Inoue first and if he beats him in that rematch, then most likely he will also beat Casimero.

Ben Simmons finally finding a new home in Atlanta with the Hawks? Looks like Him and Tobias Harris will be going to play alongside Trae Young. Not sure who they’re getting back but I’m glad to see this saga finally nearing it’s end. I would’ve rather seen Simmons end up in Sacramento, but maybe he’ll be a nice with next to Trae. It will be good to see him playing again and earning a check regardless.

And who will be the players going to be traded from Atlanta? Collins is still very good at second fiddle to Trae Young so it will be a bad move for the Hawks to ship him out just to get Simmons to Atlanta.

Yeah, I agree that Sacramento might be a good home for Ben as they are really in a disarray and needed someone to be the point leader and for sure Ben can provide that leadership.

76ers would also not agree if they will not get a player that would be worth for Simmons's trade. Before the 76ers had a problem with Simmons, he used to be the 2nd best of the team, of course, next to Embiid, so I think it's just fair to also get then 2nd best of Hawks in exchange for Simmons.
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 12, 2022, 08:41:49 AM
Bitcoin has tried several times to crawl back to the $50k level during the downturn and so far it looks like bitcoin is having a bit of a hard time getting to that level due to the ongoing investor panic so it is very likely the market will continue to be in a downwards phase, under these conditions I personally do not recommend entering the market because it will pose a big risk.
Well, it's not really good to enter in a market that is very unstable since we don't have any assurance if the next move of bitcoin will be upward or may continue its downward trend. Wait for a little while until we see another movement because that will be our guide on whether we'll start buying it now or wait another dump. Because not all dumps are always a good time to buy, if the market is definitely in a bear season, prices will certainly dump into a more lower value that marks the best time to buy.
2587  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 12, 2022, 07:19:39 AM
You can prevent being a struggler by increasing the number of your investments and not just focusing on only one, with more investments in your pocket and making you money then you will make more and you will eventually make stabilize your way of living. If you don't hit the jackpot, hit the other one's until you've hit one, I believe that to change someone's life, you're going to probably need only one lucky hit.
Yes, more investments mean more resources to generate an income. And this is what we probably need this time as relying alone from our day job won't sustain all our basic needs and wants. And if you are planning to invest in bitcoin, don't just create a plan but stick to it so you can reach your goal. Although its kinda expensive compared to other investments but you don't have to buy the whole bitcoin, a small portion of it can still make a big difference in the future. But you should also see to it that once you're making profits already, then invest a bigger amount so that you will reap a bigger profits after long term hodling.
2588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: January 11, 2022, 09:30:34 PM
there are so many novice traders who are still very difficult to control their emotions so they are not greedy, including myself. In my opinion it is a very difficult thing to control in trading because basically humans always want more than what they have achieved, and of course when they are controlled by greed, many mistakes will occur which will lead to bankruptcy.
I think that what can change that is my own experience, where I have experienced it before I traded full of greed after everything was destroyed I realized and started trading again without greed because I know what will happen again if I trade without being able to control myself for greed.
Well, our own experience will definitely teach us lessons that will motivate us not to do it again. But for those who can't get rid of their emotions and still trade with greed, i think they will only realize the consequence of their action if they will end up trading with huge losses. Yes, its hard to control our own emotions and hard not to be greedy, but if you can't be able to do that, then trading won't definitely work on you even how many years of practice.
2589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 11, 2022, 08:43:54 PM
I Will be one of the most Happy person if that level reached , Imagine from 68k drops to 30k or below? that is more than 50% discount to buy again  Grin Grin Grin

while others are praying for recovery I am praying the opposite and that is the price to drops more and more, and actually Was looking for 20k level or even lower  Grin Sorry for the Bitcoin expectorant but I wanted to invest more this year.
For me, i know bitcoin has its own chance to recover again but also, it may go down deeper like $30k but i'm confident to say it will never really touch $20k again. I think that will really cause big panic in the market and mostly will definitely fall into panic selling.

However, that will give a big discount for all those who want to buy bitcoin when its price drops more. So its not surprising that long for long term hodlers, they are hoping for bitcoin to recover now but for newly investors, they are waiting for bitcoin price to drop more.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: January 10, 2022, 09:39:03 PM
Market is witnessing some gradual dumps and it's a know fact that altcoins will bleed more than bitcoin and they will be stable or recover only when bitcoin recovers and pumps. So will it be wise to hold on to Altcoin or switch to Bitcoin or convert the funds into stablecoins and wait for market to either start recovering or to dump further to buy more in order to reach breakthrough for the lose which we might have incurred till now.
you have to understand that if you do a cut-loss at this time, it is certain that you have already lost, it will be difficult to make a profit in the future

if you have bitcoin or altcoin whose value has dropped drastically since you bought it, the wisest way is to "hold" until the market returns to bulls and your initial capital is back, don't swap it to stable coin
I agree on you. Patient people are most likely that will succeed in the long run. So if you can't be patient this time since the market is still experiencing price dumps, then prepare yourself for losses in the future. If you have bitcoin and altcoins in your portfolio, i think you don't have to look for another initiative just to be profitable. Just understand what the market is going through, because when the market recovers, you will be making huge profits already. Just hold your coins for now, and be profitable in the future.
2591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Prophesy on: January 10, 2022, 07:41:24 PM
Although I believe that indeed this time would come, that Bitcoin won't anymore be a big deal because it becomes a normal alternative currency, I don't think the whales and sharks will be gone by that time. Don't expect that there will be sophisticated systems to be put in place to avoid this. Bitcoin is all about freedom. There may be systems outside the Bitcoin protocol, but in Bitcoin itself, everybody will definitely remain 100% free including how much Bitcoin they want to buy or hoard.
I never even felt that it was such a big deal. regarding the popes I agree with what you say because this in my opinion depends on how your finances are. there is no prohibition here we are free to do whatever we want.
when I have a lot of money I also want to do like them because I can afford it but indeed for now when we can't be them, at least we have to have it even if it's a little.
it doesn't matter whether these whales hoard or not because that's their right and we don't have the authority to regulate it
Bitcoin is intended for those people who understand and value it, but they are also free not to use it since its all about freedom when it comes to bitcoin. I guess even if the government continue to ban bitcoin, there's no stopping it anymore as more people now are already aware about crypto particularly with bitcoin and many are already taking their advantage to invest in it and some are even using it already in countries where bitcoin is used as a means of payment. The world is already heading into crypto, but some are still denial about it.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport's betting experience on: January 08, 2022, 09:45:47 PM
There's no strategy that will bring you success if you will only be based on the odds, it won't work in the long run as for me that's blindly betting. The odds can be tricky as sometimes the team may be the favorites based on the odds but it could only be overvalued. You need to carefully analyze, look for an undervalued teams before you bet as that would make you profitable in the long run.
This is one of two ways in which you can gain money with sport bets, there is one factor that allows sport bettors to take advantage of a distortion on the odds, and that is that many times even if casinos are able to price the odds of a match perfectly if the people decide to side with one side too strongly then they need to adjust the odds to encourage bettors to put money to the other side, and if the distortion is big enough this creates an opportunity for experimented sport bettors to gain a small edge over the casinos, however learning how to do that is extremely difficult.
Once you become an experienced sports bettor you will easily understand the odds movement, and with the odds movement, you can also find a value where your bet will likely win. The most important thing is to ensure that you know how to manage your bankroll as that's very crucial if you want to succeed in the long run. Sports betting is a game of skills, the more you learn and acquire skills in sports betting the better your success rate.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 08, 2022, 09:17:13 PM

I could say that Ugas is tough and good but beating up Spence is something like a wall.

That's an overstatement but I respect your personal opinion. We can always say that an undefeated fighter is tough to beat but they also has their weakness just like when we think that Ugas could never beat Pacman as Pacman is so fast, but look what happen, it was a complete opposite, Ugas dictated the fight and clearly dominated the Filipino champ.
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 08, 2022, 08:29:59 PM
For the second time this year...gimme the Lakers -2.5 at home against the Hawks.  John Collins is out and he is key to the Hawks.  West coast trips are tough for east coast.  Gimme the Lakers here.

I second this and there are the reasons:

- LBJ consistent dominant performance. Keeping his average 28PPG this season whether they win or loss
- Malik Monk is stepping up - (they have 25 points combined with LBJ in the 4th quarter alone on their last game)
- Dwight Howard returned into his big man's shape grabbing 14 boards last game. No one in the Hawks might stop him tonight
- No Trae Young is always a big disadvantage on the Hawks offense

Right, there are even stats shown in the game that in the last 10 years or so, LBJ was really that consistent averaging 27-28PPG and that is really amazing because of his longevity in the game but remain very consistent.

In the game right now against the Hawks, Monk again is playing very good, as they are having a huge lead at 16 points and hopefully they can win above 10 points as that is my bet.

Even Trae Young play, not enough for the Hawks to win. Malik Monk, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Avery Bradley combined with 71 points. What a good support to Lebron James' 32 points. Westbrook is also 1 point shy away from his supposed triple-double.

Eveything is covered to the Lakers handicap and congrats to all bettors. I think even the Totals was covered if I'm not mistaken Over 230 @ 2.

Nice win for the Lakers, they are now winning games and I like to see that kind of consistency until Davis will come back from injury. They need to catch up as they are not in the top 3 anymore, they should be at least at the top 3 if they can't finish at the very top standing. I believe that the lakers can still learn how to play the right chemistry, and this win streak they are having now, I believe they are slowly figuring it out.

LeBron is now averaging 28.7 PPG this season and ain't nothing new about it as we know LeBron is a real talented one. They are now on their 4th win streak and ready to replace the Mavericks in the WCF in they can go through against the Grizzlies tomorrow. They really need to win and catch up to their loss and honestly, they're quite having a nice movement now with a real chemistry on the process, we can now also feel Westbrook's presence. Almost everything are set for Davis's return and make a huge comeback in the West.
Let's see if they can beat Morant and company, that's going to be a big win for them and I think they might even be an underdog that time even playing at home as the Grizzlies are really doing an excellent job in their last few games.

Next up, Miami Heat (+8.5) Grin
Lots of players out for the Heat, and Butler might be out too, that's a tough choice.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 08, 2022, 08:12:53 PM
I really don't like to see that Lebron James has to carry the team to victories most of the time. He should already have left those days behind from now on. And as far as I know, he doesn't want to continue to do this too. He wants his team to build a team which consist highly capable players to take the load off of his shoulders. But Lakers did the opposite for this season. And last night, we saw another example that Lebron carried the team. Lakers just can't go on like this to the end. They could have big problems in the playoff stage.

Yeah exactly.

And I believe that Lakers have one of the toughest schedules remaining going ahead in the NBA season, so that certainly does not help either.

LeBron in Year 19 should not have to average career numbers in order to just win games.

But I guess that is what the Lakers signed up to when they signed AD and Westbrook - they can work great when hot, but when they don't work, it's either going to be AD out for injuries or Russ making braindead moves which does not help.

AD is the most important piece of the Lakers after Lebron, without him, the Lakers will not be able to win a championship as Davis is really a dominant player and consistent as well, his only problem is the injury issue but as long as he is healthy in the playoffs, everything should be fine for the Lakers. Westbrook, does better in the playoffs so expect good playoffs for the Lakers once they qualify.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 08, 2022, 01:56:13 PM
And this time, he will not be lucky to win by a come from behind knockout.

He can't be lucky twice as Russell is a different animal. In order for him to win, he has to be consistent from the start to the end as the champion will certainly employ a strategy that will make him win by scoring only if he feels that Magsayo's power is too strong that he can't be too careless.

For sure, Russell has reviewed the last fight of Magsayo and he will respect the power of Magsayo but not his boxing skills as Russell is quicker and he can score while he will try to make Magsayo look like a non-pro boxer. ( I hope this would not happen).

Let's see, though this is a tougher fight for Magsayo since he is the challenger but I still believe he has a good chance of winning here. I'm not being biased here, Rusell maybe good but he is inactive for a while and that disadvantage is going to be capitalize by Magsayo, and he has to start aggressively in the early rounds to surprise Rusell.

2598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 08, 2022, 12:54:44 PM
We will soon this fight, that is if Casimero will beat Butler simply as that.

Only if that simple. Butler is also not an easy opponent. We are just being biased here because Quadro Alas is our representative. Butler is also on the goal of reaching the high rank and will surely do everything to win. Just for others to have an idea, Butler is currently ranked 1st by the WBO that's why he was chosen to fight against the Champion Casimero.

But of course, we like Casimero to win. But don't take everything lightly.
Right, it's not that easy for Casimero, he really needs to focus on this fight because regardless on where the fight is going to happen, it will be very difficult or at least there will be a big challenge for him because Butler will not be an easy opponent.

And maybe during the actual fight we are still going to hold our breath until Casimero is declared the winner as many things can really happen in a fight.

I find it easy for Casimero because Butler is not Rigondeux who loves to run.

Based on Butler's previous fight, he is very aggressive and loves to challenge his opponent, so in that case, I see that the advantage is on Casimero because he is a good counter puncher. Maybe he will be in the news again after this fight if he will win via KO.

Warriors seems to be getting to Curry at this point. Dude carried the team all by himself to this point but he can't do it all alone and he is getting too tired to do it and has been on a slump for the past month or so. Klay coming back will be amazing for him, obviously warriors have other good players as well but they are not really offensively as dangerous as Curry so most teams defend Curry harder than any other person in that team.

I am not going to say that he is the only good player on that team, others are good too but Curry is on another level. Klay coming back means he will spread the floor a bit more and yes it will take some time but I am sure eventually he will be helping out a lot.

He has an injury that's why he was not 100% lately.

At the news already; Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors dealing with quad contusion

Time for Curry to relax a bit, their ranking is already good and they'll be bringing back Thompson starting their next game, so the Warriors are still a good team as long as Thompson will remain a great scorer like he was before.

Another great big man is added to the SMB lineup.

Brondial signs with SMB after Alaska parting of ways

Quote
IT didn't take long for Rodney Brondial to find a new PBA home.

The unrestricted free agent agreed to a contract with San Miguel, SPIN.ph learned, although terms of the contract were not divulged.

Great Pick up by the SMB I would say, Brondial is a tough player, he can bring some energy with the SMB and he is a good back up when their main big man will rest.
