Yes I just saw this in their Instagram official page,I think is better than Australia for us Europeans as we don't have to wake up in 6 AM in the morning to see the Australian GP,while we can easily see the Qatar GP which by the way will be a night race which is even better,so we will be closing our F1 Championship in the Gulf with the 2 last races being Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi in December,perfect temperatures for a race during that time in these places.

ICC is the governing body but I do not think they have jurisdiction in such a matter. There have been lots of instances in the past when big boards have cancelled tours and nothing happened to them. Pakistani board has suffered a substantial amount of revenue but more importantly, its reputation has now been tarnished because of these cancellations.
The Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and the involvement of Pakistani forces in that changed the ground situation. Rather than any real change in the security status, this may be the factor that might have resulted in the tour cancellation. The ICC can't do much. They can't even impose a financial penalty, if the teams come up with some proof to show that Pakistan is not safe for them. Look at India. The last time they toured Pakistan was two decades ago. Still, the ICC has supported the stance by BCCI. @Sithara007 of course ICC won’t touch teams like India and New Zealand, because they earn solid revenues from from those teams. His contract with Chennai Super Kings in the IPL is worth $980,000 per season, or $70,000 per match. And cricket is just like any other career option. You can't force someone to continue with a low paying job, that requires a lot more effort. I agree with you. Players playing in the T20 leagues are paid so high compared to international matches. For example, look at the West Indies players, they play more in the T20 leagues more than their International team. Well having a clash with the board is also an issue but money is a huge factor in this. Maybe the boards can make a statement that T20 league players won't be paid more than a specific amount of money and maybe that might help a bit, other than that, I don't see a fix to this. I don’t agree with this how can you ask player’s to take less money, put yourself in their shoes would you accept less money for the hard work you put in no right?. However to save test cricket boards can make it mandatory to pay a x number of test matches if fit and selected, and that’s something the player’s too will accept. |

Time to bump this thread and show some love to Conference League . Probably main game today is Feyenoord - Slavia. Slavia have many players injured, but despite it they looking solid. So, I think that they are underrated too much for this game. Most of other games doesn't look very attractive to watch. Maybe Vitesse - Rennes may be interesting. Spurs will face Mura and even if they will play with reserve squad, I expect them to achieve quite big win. IMO, muravis one of weakest teams in tournament. @LTU_btc having player’s injured is always bad, but an opportunity for others to stake their place in the team hence we’ll have to see if those other player’s step up or no. Yes most of the players played in the Oman national cricket team comes from Pakistan and India which already a good team. Oman already gained the highest point in the world cup selection match between Oman, USA, Papua new guinea and Scotland.
Not "most", but all (100%). The Oman cricket team in its history has never included an Omani citizen in its playing XI. They just give temporary contracts to domestic players from Pakistan and India and bring them to Oman with work visa to qualify for the 6-month residency requirement. But it has worked well for them, as they are on top of the points table. Other gulf nations also do the same. But in case of UAE and Kuwait, they used to have 1-2 Arab players in their playing XI earlier (Sultan Mohammed Zarawani and Fahad Al Hashemi are examples). @Sithara007 and the ICC is okay with this?, isn’t this a manipulation of the rules because their own citizens don’t participate so how’s this allowed I don’t understand. Chelsea will recover eventually, but I doubt Manchester United will. They've been struggling to win games since the beginning of the season, and in the games they've won so far, they weren't the best team on the field; their opponents were simply not taking chances. This is a team I actually love and sometimes brag about, but, with what I've seen so far, I do not expect them to win because there are other teams who are consistent with their winning and don't over-sweat to score goals. Take a look at what Liverpool is doing already. That's how to prepare for winning the League! If they can give other teams enough gap, they can possible sit there till the end. The main problem with Manutd right now is their defense, which has been terrible and has been caught on the counter attack by every team they've faced. The lack of a good DM is exposing the back three to one-on-one attacking threats every time the ball gets into that position, and second, the attackers aren't playing amongst themselves, especially Greenwood, who is too selfish and keeps the ball for a long time. @igehhh I had said it from the first game that it was a poor performance, and if they don’t improve then they’ll win nothing this season too, and so far I’m right about them. Also defence could be improved by playing Dalot, and the biggest issue is the club didn’t buy a CM which was the need of the hour, and had they got a good CM then things would have changed for Manchester United. |

Be careful when you associate the word "consistency" with Sanju Samson. I agree that he has scored runs recently. But from what I have observed in the past, his good patch lasts only for 4-5 matches and after that he will suffer from a lack of form for the next 4-5 matches. The again his good patch will reappear. This is a never-ending cycle for Samson. And regarding Mumbai Indians, it is not right to blame everything on Ishan and SKY. What about the Pandya sisters? They are also not contributing anything to the team. I'm looking at everything in context of T-20 WC, that's where form comes into play. Krunal Pandya is not part of the WC squad so i don't really care about his performance for his franchise. Hardik's Form with the bat is one of the major concern and he's not bowling at all, which indicate that he's not fit to ball or team (MI) is not showing enough confidence on his bowling but we have Shardul Thakur in reserve for that, if Hardik continues to fail. Thakur is not explosive batsman as Hardik but he seems better 3rd seamer for the team (Bowling allrounder). @JSRAW Hardik is fit and they’re trying to keep him in better shape for the T20 World Cup, and that makes sense because he’s a valuable player for the Indian team.
