2581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bomba Pumper: 101 BITTREX Bomb Picks (Open donations MMOG) on: October 22, 2014, 03:32:15 PM
Besides let the kid defend himself. I don't know his age but some have suggested he is only 14. Which makes sense because of the small, small, small amount he is trading. I just dont get how he would think that a bunch of adults with jobs and bills to pay would join him in this "game"?

He has said that this is just a joke so maybe he isn't taking this seriously. But there are people like you who are taking this seriously. Which is why I said earlier that what the OP saying is a little misleading and he should make clear that this is just a joke or a game or whatever he calls it

OK. The " Bomba Pumper" part is misleading indeed.

I'm not taking this particularly seriously... actually I must admit I'm almost childishly enjoying playing in that ULTC sandbox Smiley.

2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bomba Pumper: 101 BITTREX Bomb Picks (Open donations MMOG) on: October 22, 2014, 02:40:46 PM
He is not the one doing pump because he has only 0.9 bitcoins. He is taking advice from twitter and posting it here
and only using $3 to trade. he only made 7% which is only 21 cent profit
this is just no good for us here

Well, I agree probably he's not the pumper, but that 0.9 BTC means nothing. For example I surely wouldn't post my main addresses here Smiley.
We don't know if this "game" is a demonstration, recruiting, trust building or really just a game.
He's still better than many of the guys around who's talking about "undervalued" and "will go to da moon this week" coins what they want to dump on newbies. Even if he's only a human ticker he's at least not talking rubbish. Maybe later he will. We'll see, I guess.
2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bomba Pumper: 101 BITTREX Bomb Picks (Open donations MMOG) on: October 22, 2014, 02:26:24 PM
Actually he's right on ULTC. As I heard at least two groups pumping it.
2584  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bakery Selling Vegan “Organic Genderless Gingerbread Figures”… on: October 21, 2014, 06:17:11 PM
According my previous experiences "vegan" usually means "tastes like cardboard". If gingerbread man hurts someones feelings that person must have too much spare time or a really miserable sexual life.
2585  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thoughts on microchip implants? on: October 21, 2014, 03:29:18 PM
At this moment I can't see any advantage. I can't extend my memory by a memory card, can't get an embedded vision improvement device, I can't get stronger and faster with some muscle enhancers. All I can get today is an RFID chip or an USB stick under my skin. Cool! Especially the RFID stuff. That would make all my movements and actions even more easily traceable, and I could get more accurate and more targeted ads... hurray!
I'd think about trading off a part of my privacy for some useful implants, but not for the currently available stuff.
2586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The White European should be praised for their actions concerning slavery on: October 21, 2014, 01:53:06 PM
I think we all need to get rid of books and schools because they have a liberal bias, and instead watch more Stefan Molyneux videos. If only more people did this, they would understand white people for the heroes they are

Actually you are right about the liberal stuff Smiley.
You know since Cyrus the Great back in the 6th century BC nobody else really did anything to abolish slavery. Then the dreaded evil white man come along and just abolished it. ...and they had the power and the will to force this abolishment across the globe. Not the indians the arabs or your fellow black bros in Africa, but that fckin' white man. If we didn't do that, then you guys would be still listed in the commodities section in some arab or african countries. I'd encourage you to learn a bit of history.

2587  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The White European should be praised for their actions concerning slavery on: October 21, 2014, 12:38:21 PM
Why bother with east and west when it's already divided in two opossing classes. Have we switched places on this topic?  Cheesy Wink

Anarchist economics are an interesting topic, I wouldn't be happy with either currency or bartering. If you are interested in this subject I think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchist_economics is a good introduction, especially the experiments during the spanish revolution.

Not to be harsh but I would never put the words anarcho and capitalist together, how this has happened is beyond me. Voluntarism I guess is a part of this tradition?

I you like a real bloody sect of anarchism I have always liked the russian nihilists http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nihilist_movement  Wink

Anarcho-syndicalism basically just put the words anarcho and capitalist together Smiley. Actually a good idea. As I came from a former so called "communist" country I think that the two main reasons of the fall of the soviet type communism were: ignoring the market, and attempting to control every segment of the society.

P2P economy  is an other thing where anarchism and capitalism comes together... and this is the point where BTC or other cryptos can be the best way to completely eliminate the last bastions of state control.
2588  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Do You Think Threads about doctors is POLITICS & SOCIETY? on: October 18, 2014, 06:18:56 PM
Voted for the first option as IMO doctors have an important role in the life of any society. Politics can have an impact on them therefore an indirect impact on the society.
2589  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oh great, now IS is training pilots on: October 18, 2014, 03:31:52 PM
It will take many years for a country to develop an air force that is able to fight and survive, however it will take much less time to develop an army of suicide bombers that have the ability to inflict a lot of damage to both an opposing military and civilians before the fighers end up getting shot down

I think the situation not that bad. According to the reports they have something like three working planes at this moment, all three are old MIG-21s. These planes originally were designed as short range high speed interceptors (later some ground attack versions were also made) so not really suitable for precise kamikaze attacks. In addition these export version planes even after some upgrades still representing the technological level of the late seventies or early eighties at best. MIG-23s are better but not a match for modern air defenses.
So even the Syrian planes or air defense can catch them with ease. Don't forget that Syrians have evacuated the much more modern MIG-29s and SU-24s, they still have pretty good air defense (including S-300 systems, plenty of SA-6, SA-8, SA-10, SA-11 batteries, and vast amount of older but modernized SA-2, SA-3 and SA-5 static launchers).

This video allegedly shows some of their planes:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/islamic-state/11170977/Does-Islamic-State-have-an-air-force.html

...if that's correct the situation is more funny as the first three jets are looks like MIG-15/17s. Some Mig-23s in the later part of the video, but the two seat training versions. On other pictures in the news they shown some MIG-21s or SU-17s.

I think we shouldn't be too worried because of this Islamic Air Force.
2590  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oh great, now IS is training pilots on: October 17, 2014, 10:36:52 PM
And the Japanese used to send half-trained kamikaze pilots to basically turn their planes into missiles that targeted Allied warships. My question is, where is the ISIS getting planes from?

The Syrians left behind a couple of obsolete or not airworthy planes when evacuated their airbase near to Aleppo.
2591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oh great, now IS is training pilots on: October 17, 2014, 03:17:00 PM
People have noticed and reported short training flights from IS held airbase.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29660029

To train a talented recruit to a pilot takes a couple of months, but they still will be inexperienced rookies and will be outclassed by any seasoned, battle hardened pilot. In addition they have some really old planes (MIG-21s or MIG-23s maybe SU-17s).
2592  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THOUSANDS of Chemical Weapons Discovered at Iraqi Complex Now Held By ISIS on: October 16, 2014, 02:34:05 PM
Ahh the chemical weapons the US sold to Saddam when he was 'one of our guys.'

Strange why Bush covered it up, he knew there were no WMD's so he could have at least used this as part-justification for his illegal invasion.

Yes, that cover up  is really odd. There were many accusations on all levels because the lack of WMDs and such a find would have prove that they were right indeed.
So if we apply Occam's razor on these news we can say probably there are no WMDs they are just warming up the old BS, or they preparing to some sort of false flag attack.
2593  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anyone following the ebola outbreak? on: October 16, 2014, 01:50:12 PM
What is Ebola? It even exists?

Yes, it exists. However a lot of ppl (even a lot of west africans) think that the current outbreak is just a hoax (like the swineflu "pandemic" was) for making a lot of money on vaccines, medicines and supplies on the west and scamming some money out of the world on the local government side.
To make accusations worse, many news depicting people sick with ebola seems to be fake with some paid "crisis actors".

The police are ten times more likely to kill you if you're a black unarmed teen

Especially if you are carrying three-shooter sandwiches... Roll Eyes

It's never the same, but simple in general. Attenuation process is based on breeding the virus on the culture of cells which is very different from cells of the natural host. The most difficult part of the job is to find an optimal culture of host cells for replication of virus. In case of influenza virus an optimal breeding host cells culture is an embryo of bird, for example. After thousands of thousands of breeding cycles the viral genome successfully adapts to the new host, but the result of adaptation is lesser infectivity for the cells of an original host. How much lesser? It depends on the virus' ability to mutate. If viral genome is stable then attenuated strain is unable to cause any symptoms of the disease. In case of polio attenuated strain is absolutely harmless while in case of variola, herpes, influenza or measles an attenuated strain is able to cause some symptoms of the disease.

I know how the attenuation process working, but I also know the phenomenon called virus interference between related viruses, possible secondary mutations and the effects of improper vaccine handling.
Please don't misunderstand me I trust Russian stuff. If it's not dead on arrive then it will work for generations, I just don't want to be in the first wave to be vaccinated Smiley. However I must admit I don't trust GSK, Pfizer and so on...
2598  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anyone following the ebola outbreak? on: October 14, 2014, 01:14:01 PM
Have you ever heard of lonewolf terrorists? Their success is fear..you don't need to up the body count if you can instill fear aka terror in people minds. A lot of people in many countries got vaccinated since consequences of not being vaccinated are usually worst. A lot of people in critical occupations (doctors, paramedics, police and military officers, etc.) are being given shots for a whole range of diseases since long time. Here in Italy, I've been given mandatory flu vaccination (as a volunteer paramedic) since the beginning of the SARS scare. No one got untested and probably harmful crap. Probably because no one would turn up to work if they didn't test the shots before.  Grin

Lonewolf terrorists can't do too much harm, as they have limited resources and do not have any meaningful logistic background.

I know mandatory vaccinations, in the army we've got vaccines before we went to some sort of remote shitholes. (The tropical mix was especially fine. We were sick for weeks after that.) However that was some well tested, proven good stuff. With known side effects and time tested protocols.
Please read the news. These brand sparkin' new ebola vaccines are on the way to be pushed through without extensive clinical testing, because of the health emergency. Are you wanna be a guinea pig?

To be honest I have some distrust towards live attenuated virus jabs since this summer, as seven of our kittens felt ill with cat flu after the cat flu vaccination. (Feligen RCP is also a live virus vaccine.)
It seems that you haven't seen how the wild strains of Calicivirus are affecting the kittens. And I bet you won't want to see. Roll Eyes

Actually I've seen that on feral cats and on rescued kittens. And you are right I didn't wanted to see again. It was two weeks of night and day hard work for the entire family to nurse all of them back to life.
2600  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anyone following the ebola outbreak? on: October 14, 2014, 12:42:45 PM
Mandatory vaccinations is the most effective policy. However, it's a shame that modern pharma industries prefer to work on the genetically engineered stuff instead of trying to develop alive attenuated vaccines without introduction of artificial changes into viral genome. Just see ebola for example... Only one proposed vaccine is based on a live attenuated strain of the virus. Remaining candidates are the result of genetic engineering. I don't try to say that genetic engineering is evil but it's relatively new technology. Of course the genetic engineering could be used when old approach doesn't work but why don't use the technique which is proven to be effective and safe in 18th century? Seems strange for me.

To be honest I have some distrust towards live attenuated virus jabs since this summer, as seven of our kittens felt ill with cat flu after the cat flu vaccination. (Feligen RCP is also a live virus vaccine.) If those guys doing similarly good job with a live ebola virus cocktail then probably going to Liberia grabbing some large doses of booze and having sex with local prostitutes whom are already sick with ebola is a better option... or at least a more pleasant and exotic way to die Smiley.
