2581  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good way to save guard our relationship/marriage. on: July 06, 2023, 09:45:48 PM
True love that leads to marriage shouldn’t need lots of hard work to be a success. If you love each other & live a healthy marriage that is full of trust then there is a recipe for an ever lasting marriage. I read recently that more marriages than ever end in divorce now but this doesn’t need to be the case if you are truly in love & dedicated to fulfilling a great marriage. Treat you wife well, have a family & enjoy life.

The institution of marriage is very deep, different and unique to different people. The marriage talk is never exhaustible and what will cause broke up or divorce/separation in marriage A could be totally different from marriage B and C. However, I think the marriage system favours the matrilineal society where women have much power or act as men so they could decide to put away any husband she doesn't want anymore with different excuse. Also the court marriage or marriage under the act. This gives right to women to share part of the estate of the man or estate of the marriage despite the man being the sole provider.

I completely agree with you my friend, indeed, you hit the nail in the head, in this time and age, it is no longer feasible to depend on google

I still rely on Google for my sports news and in fact they have accurate news and from Google you get wide range of information and education because they also direct you to some of the social media handles of the research you are making like the team's official handles or other veritable sources that you can access information. When visiting online news agency, I think it is wise to focus on the news letter itself and forget other ads that comes up, some people get carried away and probably try to sign-up to certain links of team's for news but that is dangerous to sign up to pages you are not really sure of. This is why I prefer Google to blogs.

Google is definitely the number one go-to for most people, I think...

Social media is a close second, and to be honest, probably a faster way to get the most current news before anyone else. You just have to know the right accounts to follow and be very active.

Big news sites are the third option but it usually takes them hours or sometimes even days to catch on and report the news, so they are not too valuable as a data resource.

Blogs are completely worthless since they only copy the news word for word from the news sites anyway. Google is and always was #1. I just wish they took their users privacy more seriously. Roll Eyes

I like your analysis and you reiterated the point that Google has not served out its purpose of fast and reliable news source that links you to more source for further probing. The privacy issue is still what we know about the social media, protect your details , don't sign in to what you are not sure as legit. I don't rely on blogs for sports update.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 06, 2023, 08:14:22 PM

I didn't even exactly understand. If its just computer programme trying to act like football/soccer game there can be 5 goals from away team.

Yeah is a programmed football match and you have different clubs or leagues playing so depending on what you want to bet on . It is bet just like real football betting but the funny thing about this program football game is that it is programmed  Grin You understand what I mean? Maybe not. But you see very funny unimaginable and unexpected football play, from keepers missing clear catches, running out of the post while ball is approaching, ridiculously diving towards the wrong position etc and to players missing clear goals even when the keeper is not at the post. Yeah, it is programmed.  Grin

Its rare but possible even in Real life. But if something like that happens in a minute - well its impossible. Most of the time couple of minutes already pass after a team scores a goal to continue.

This is the contention. It is possible for goals to be scored in short intervals in a match in real life but to have 5 goals scored within 7 minutes to the end of full time and going by the bet at stake where the customer was already leading 2 goals ahead and just remaining the 3rd but then and there, the table shook and the house won 2-5 away. That is what makes the whole scenario a programmed game.
2584  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: UK Crypto, Stablecoin Rules Receive Royal Assent, Passing Into Law on: July 06, 2023, 07:43:55 PM

And those citizens who do not fill out declarations after that will be considered criminals and their cryptocurrencies can be seized by court order. Most crypto enthusiasts will not be happy with such legal regulations.

I think this is looking like assets declaration in cryptocurrency. The UK government is taking the stronger step to sanitize the crypto market in the wake of MICA law. All the regulations are giving the signals for those who want to benefit from cryptocurrency illegally. The crypto tax regime is taking off from UK and this affects the illicit activities, exchange scam etc

sounded more destructive than not having regulation of crypto at all. and they can track all the users especially because they also are coordinating with the exchanges, they will have access to the exchange databases. depending on how much you kept i guess but if they wanted to make you a criminal, they can easily accuse you with the smallest crypto you hid.

Sure we all know where this whole thing is tilting towards and that is purely going down to regulation. It will be easy to track crypto community users with exchanges that operate in any country that want to regulate the crypto space and I believe the EU or UK is not the only country that will go that direction. The means to know the number of people in the space is mandatory KYC, so is either you are hodling your coin through your wallet or you subject yourself to KYC if you want to trade.Tax collection is another purpose for regulation.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 06, 2023, 05:15:52 PM

The same way we see so many men who are addicted to gambling on the streets, maybe so also we would have been seeing addicted women as well, if the number of women in gambling is the same, or even slightly close to the number of men in gambling.

I do not think so that if we had more numbers of women in gambling than men that we still see them addicted, in the first place we won't see more numbers of women above men in gambling because there are particular ways of life expected by the sex of persons. Gambling is already a dominated area by men just like the society ascribed prostituting to women. No hard feelings to the women folks but growing up I have known women being the ones known with such "trades" even though it is the men who patronize them. This is the way the society is but we could just see a little changes here and there which would be known as an aberration to the norm.

2588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Okko Bet | Neural network for first bets | Rates on the verifier | Affiliate 50% on: July 06, 2023, 02:22:42 PM
I'm yet to click on the link provided because I'm skeptical about those clicks and not really advisable for a newbie account but I have to ask:
Quote
More than 50,000 football matches in the database

Is this like a virtual soccer? Your already have it programmed in your casino?

Quote
A multi-level referral program with regular deductions of 50% is available for each active Okko client.

Like have one wager and get a chance for another free wager? This I guess is like a networking right? Because bettors will concern themselves more to invite people through their referral code or link .
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 06, 2023, 01:28:47 PM

....because usually people who are impatient will gamble until they win, even though this is a big mistake which will make them went bankrupt quickly.

These people are not impatient in my view but they are people chasing after the loses they have made so to recover but unfortunately gambling is gambling. It doesn't not present to us the desires of our heart. So you can keep chasing the loses until you go down with it. It is painful when you lose consistently but one need self control to understand every day is not a winning for you. There is a relationship to understanding gambling and playing or betting on it. This is the reason people lose so much to sell their house, car or important belongings because they are hopeful that the next game is going to be a jackpot for them and if you are seeing yourself in such level then addiction has set in.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 06, 2023, 09:23:17 AM

Whatever it is, there's no need to find out more about who gambled from the two, so far I also rarely see women playing gambling to make a living, unless she's really not a good woman maybe she's a gambler, most women are more busy with social their media compared to playing online gambling.  Grin

Women are not really associated with gambling yes, there are some areas of life that are known with some sex. So if you are a woman and you gamble alot or even openly, there is a way that the society see such woman like they are usually labelled bad but this is not the same with the male counterparts. A man that gambles may not be seen as bad but women could be seen that way. Moreso, regarding to men, a man who also gambles a lot but takes good care of his family is also looked differently by the society compared to that man who only gambles without taking care of the home but behaves irresponsible. It is just about what the society perceive about the standards of gambling.
2591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World social media day. on: July 06, 2023, 07:47:05 AM
I would say social media has made more positive impact than negative because there are some people in this 21 century who are now millionaires through the monetization of their social media activities but there's no way some will have an advantage and won't have the other side which why we see some people abusing the potential and benefit of the social media.

It is the government and government agencies that are criticising social media like I have said. There was a time that tweeter was restricted by the government of Nigeria because people were speaking out what was wrong in governance. You can't beat a child and tell him or her not to cry, that is not possible because it will amount to inhuman reaction. Social media platforms have given voices and created enormous wealth to people who never expected they will get to where they are today and moreover it has exposed many to different talents, comedy etc.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 06, 2023, 06:12:41 AM

  • Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?

Rather I got to know that there is no actual winning strategy in gambling. It is in this forum that I understand more that it is luck you are playing for and there are no winning strategy because despite your analysis, head to head reviews, picking of small odds can fail you beyond your expectation. So the forum opened my eyes more to what I didn't know, including the rate of addiction in gambling.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: July 05, 2023, 10:18:55 PM

The best thing to do is avoiding VPN  use except in cases where it is inevitable.

The bettors who are playing in countries where casinos are not banned then they don't have good reason to use VPN because if you do, you are by implication hidding something from those in authority. I also won't suggest that bettors use VPN when they are in jurisdiction that have not banned cryptocurrency and stick to their rules in ToS because I believe if casino is not rejecting your registration, you don't need to use VPU .
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 05, 2023, 08:23:50 PM

I think gambling to some extent can be compared with alcohol dependence.

Alcohol dependence to me is also addiction because thing you can't do without becomes addiction. Gambling addiction and alcohol dependence is measured to be operating in same way only that in alcohol, you get drunk and misbehave because of intoxication which could lead you to getting naked, harming yourself or other people or total lost of control that can cause you bodily harm. But the salient point about addiction is losing of control towards your normal actions and that is present in both gambling and alcohol dependence.

Women are less prone to entering alcohol addiction, but if they have entered it, then it is harder for women to get out of it than for men.

I don't totally agree that women are harder to get out of alcohol addiction than men. I think it is the same measure. They both need external help and if they receive such help appropriately then they should get out of it because it is the brain that controls the loss of control and not gender or sex based.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 05, 2023, 06:58:10 PM

So we should urge players to report if there are bugs and manipulation and it should be accompanied by proof because there are also players who try to get it even though they lose fair and square and they gave false allegations and accusations.

Reporting also could be dangerous because some bettors are over zealous when they lose their bet, they want to cause problem for the casino. This is like what we have seen in the forum where new accounts have made allegations whether right or wrong. So reporting a casino is dangerous and bettors should be careful and certain with proof if they are to do that.
2596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin maximum price on: July 05, 2023, 05:25:36 PM
My prediction is between the $30k - $50k range for this year. This is because I don't expect volatility to hit above $50k before the next few months ending the year. I'm still looking at the body movement of btc during the time of halving but this year may have been a little spiking out volatility. Although price could still drop below $30k

UPDATE:

Sypoort staff member Eila who is the best support told me to context host provider of the event and told me to view the forum which led me to BC_Panda and so I mesaged them on telegram.

Panda gave me all the info I needed and has been very kind and helpful with fast respond. We both checked my UID to see if it was listed as winner but it was not.
Doesn't make sense why to be shown message saying I won if I did not. Maybe error or glitch.

Panda said they contact event host and waiting on respond.

This is a whole new twist to your story. This is looking not too directional to what it is you are talking about. Did you check properly initially to know if you won or not before wanting to claim the reward?
Quote

. You both don't need to check to know you won or not.

Or could it be a mistake that you got a message for winning ?

Anyway I will suggest you can lock this thread now that you have checked to see you never won what you are trying to claim reward on.
2598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 05, 2023, 02:30:04 PM

Bug or manipulation, players should not experience this, it's a form of cheating, the admins should present their platform free of bugs and manipulation to their players, they need to test their platform for bugs, its better to name that platform, because they could still be doing this.

Hardly would a casino owner want to prevent the easy means that they are hoodwinking their customers unnoticed. Casino is such a business that any vacuum that exist if exploited without being caught then everything is okay. It is not a gentle man business nor business for people who propagate morality. It is for the fash and sharp minds and that is why you hear all the allegations stories in the forum whether true or not but each party is trying to watch their back because if you don't protect yourself, any lakuna could be exploited.
2599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Killing in Politics is unethical on: July 05, 2023, 12:09:45 PM
Maybe the situation of political killings is now becoming worse unlike what it was, maybe some people will say it has always been like that but we know that the spate has increased. Almost in all the countries that have conducted elections in the last 4/5 years have not had hitch free elections and result especially for the highest position of the land, president.

Politics is not ethical from the practice of how politicians have now made it to be. They plan to eliminate opponents that will stop them and this incidents of killings never stops after elections because those bad guys that were employed surreptitiously to perpetuate such evil will still have those guns used to terrorize the country, some becomes saboteurs to the same politicians to kill for, some go into blackmail and that further conflagrate the insecurity and instability the government of the day will face.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: July 05, 2023, 10:47:13 AM
Maybe many of us use scenarios and strategies to beat the casino, but keep in mind that we will not be able to win against the house forever, just watch, you may even be lucky for a few moments but you will lose in a row when you have an unlucky time, we all know that every scenario and any strategy the dealer will know how we play.

Yes. As much as we try to use configurations of any sort, analysis or descriptions and whotnot of 00s to try and beat our way to winning all day and times, it will not happen. You win some and you lose some this how gambling is. I remind people that the money you are chasing to grab from the casino is well secured against your inching finger. Casino is someone's business and they will protect you from winning always. I'm not sure any casino or gambling company offline or online declares losses , I don't know who has seen that happen. They are out to make profit also, they have to pay tax and take home gains.
