261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 18, 2020, 02:59:29 AM
Planning is one of the most important when we do trading, a good planning consist of the type of setup that you are going to play,  in order to know; we should know what is our trading profile. There are a lot of trading profile like swing trader, momentum trader, bottom fish trader and a trend following. If you easily identify your trait as a trader you are going to know what type of setup that you are going to use. Next is the entry price, it is important to consider and we should really know when we will enter to avoid FOMO. Next is stop loss where if our bias did not happen, we can prevent huge losses. Last is when we will sell our position, we should not just hold and hold without a target profit. We should always have a exit in order to preserve our gains.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 17, 2020, 08:41:32 AM
It depends on the people and the understanding they have about Bitcoin; if it’s just some people that has less or zero knowledge of what Bitcoin is, once they are told that Bitcoin is a scam, they will go ahead and believe that.

But, if it’s people that already understands that Bitcoin is just a payment method, they wouldn’t believe that, because they already know that Bitcoin is just a payment method and people are the ones that are using it the wrong way. Even the US dollar is being used for scam, every fiat in the world is used for scam, but we don’t say that fiat is a scam just because of some kids that are scammers, we still make use of it.
Naturally, people are not going to say bad words about fiat, because they are being paid with government money for their time and effort. They don't care if this money came from drug dealers, because they still can buy something in grocery store. No company like Chainalysis can come to analyze blockchain and say banknotes are now dirty and therefore non-fungible, government promised them no matter what happened to banknotes, they can hand over them with no worries. They will not be calling it a scam until government itself a scam. With bitcoin the situation is different, bitcoin doesn't give promises, it simply works in a way it was designed. If one disagrees with the design of bitcoin, one stays out of the system and may call it a scam. But when people start being paid for their time and effort with bitcoin, it will no longer be considered a scam.
It is because fiat is centralized where the government have control on it and it is the reason why people doesn't have any worries. The thing is people do not know what is a decentralized currency looks like and it is the reason why they think it is not a legit. The generations of millennials have also a nature where if they are not familiar to something, they will called it as a scam. Exerting effort in terms of studying can help us to determine if a certain investment is legit or if it is scam.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffet bought “Gold” for the first time. When Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2020, 07:04:47 AM
Who knows, Warren Buffet might be buying bitcoin secretly, he's been causing Fud on bitcoin and we know how whales play their game, I don't think that he just bought gold at such a high price, he must have been accumulating all this while and finally announced after gold pumped, I believe such is gonna happen with bitcoin, he's gonna announced that he bought bitcoin after bitcoin pumped and perhaps surpass its all time high, he's a wise investor I don't believe that he doesn't own bitcoin despite meeting Justin and Justin Sun claimed he gave him a bitcoin
It is a pure assumption, he has a interview and he said that he will never own a cryptocurrencies so he is basically a hater because of what he said that it has "no value". Anyway Warren Buffet is the most successful American investor after all, public always want to know what are the stocks that he is buying in order to ride the hype. Because of his power and his huge money, he can easily pump a certain assets. I do not know if his mind will be changed because it seems that he is still not finding the value of the cryptocurrencies especially the bitcoin. But once Warren Buffet accept and invest in bitcoin, for sure it will cause a hype where we can see monstrous rally.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best platform for quickly purchasing bitcoin? on: August 17, 2020, 05:27:19 AM
Im using coinbase but I did not tried to purchasing bitcoin to that wallet because it will not allowed to my country.
We are using coins.ph base on the Philippines which is really good to use to buy bitcoin there is a lot of deposit option.
There is a lot of wallet that you can use to buying a bitcoin make sure you choose a low fees.
In terms of using coins.ph, the good thing is; it is convenient and easy to use but the bad thing is the fees that are really expensive. I do not recommend purchasing bitcoin through coins if we sre talking about large amount of money because you will experience immediately loss just because of fees. But if the money is not that big then I can considered using coins.ph as good because it is less hassle than using exchanges where you need to fill up, verify and also a lot of transactions.
265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 17, 2020, 03:41:58 AM
Im a player of roobet until now and every time I play to this gambling sited most of the time I win and I think it my lucky site.
It is higly recommended to play roobet and also the reasons why we choose it because there is a lot of gambling games.
And hope to add more but it is one of  gambling sites who a lot of choices games to play.

I'm in the opposite side, I have made several deposits on roobet but only once withdrawal Smiley
But I'm a player who do think that my luck is based on where I play. So even though I get more lose than wins at roobet, but I do not think that roobet is not my lucky site.
IMO it is just a matter of time when my luck will come no matter where I play. Perhaps and hope I'll get my lucky time at roobet as soon as possible.

Its just a mindset or a belief on where we do believe that a certain gambling place or site does can really affect someones luck while they do they play.
Im not really that just too negative but thats not how gambling works.Luck will eventually comes unexpectedly neither you do play on a known or popular site or
into those new ones.

Another worth thing to be mentioned that Roobet is almost hitting up 400M bets in a short time which is really an impressive milestone.
For me luck have something to do with the online casino that you are using because there are some that is not probably fair enough and you will never get luck on it. The better the casinos that you are using, the higher the luck that you may get

Their current milestone only proving that they are really the "fastest growing casino". I would like to commend roobet because of their good promotion and marketing strategy, they are popular not only in forum but a lot of social media platforms like twitter. Their support are also active and it is good because I tried to ask them and a minute after I got replied by them.
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 30 sec - 5 sec chart on: August 17, 2020, 02:38:01 AM
It is just a recommendation but for me the data that you will gonna get using 5 sec - 30 sec charts are not good and reliable because the market is too volatile. Remember that the longer the time frame, the valid its market structure. Imagine you are using 30 secs chart and then there is a sudden pump or dump and for sure you will get a messy data. Try to use minutes and hourly charts because it is the preferable, tradingview has a built in minutes and hourly chart after all. It is just my reco in terms of using time frame because secondly charts are usually giving false signals.

Anyways, it was only 0.15$ Grin

Lucky me, I just turned these $0.15 into $20.48 Grin

Woah, that is huge multiplier mate. Actually I lost my $10 in the demon and the minimum bet there is $0.30 per spin. It is my bad I know but that is okay for me as long as I keep getting lucky in dice and roulette. Actually I have consecutive winning in dice after all.  I will make deposit again and will try to place some slots again with good minimum bet like dead or alive. Wish me a goodluck  Grin
268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: August 15, 2020, 09:26:11 AM
So you guys need KYC to withdraw or not? I'm curious about this before I try the casino.
From my experience, just by looking at the site at a glance, KYC is mandatory.
To my own personal opinion verification should not be a thing to worry about for most players, since you are not doing anything illegal, KYC is beneficial to both parties, it's for the security of both the clients and casino itself. Kyc is not mandatory up to a certain level on the site, level 1 is most common among all users and this is just to have few information about the user
That's true that KYC is not mandatory after all so it is up to us if we will increase our level or not. The KYC became a issue in these past years because there is someone who created a thread about the bad sides of the KYC if I'm not mistaken. The level 1 KYC in the website is just asking personal info like name, age, and address. It is good that they are not asking some personal documents but for me it is not beneficial in both parties after all because there are some who really want privacy and they are avoiding Kyc.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: August 15, 2020, 03:00:37 AM
Over the past few years, I have been horrified by the way accounts of various exchanges and crypto-related websites and individuals have been hacked by hackers. Is there any way to out of this insecurity? I think cryptocurrency will lose popularity if it continues like this, share your ideas on what can be done to overcome this situation.
The funny part of this is that some of you that will be talking about exchanges getting hacked will be mentioning exchanges that nobody knows lol.

Exchanges that are not good, why would you expect them to be able to defend themselves from hackers?

If you want to make use of an exchange, make use of the exchanges that can be fully reliable and not the ones that are not secure. Read everything about them, there are even review sites that will help know the kind of experience have had with a particular exchange, always go through them.
If you feel that your funds may get lost then it only indicating that you are still not prepared to the risks that you are taking, you can overcome that fear and insecurity if you will make investment in your knowledge. In what way? By simply becoming aware to the exchanges that have good security. You feel insecure because it seems that you do not know what you are doing but if you able to understand yourself then you can get out and overcome your fear and insecurities.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 15, 2020, 01:49:50 AM
We know that Floyd fought the Japanese boxer for the money.
Japanese was not a boxer,  Tenshin Nasukawa was a kickboxer and they fight in a boxing match, it's not fun for us buy FLoyd made easy money on that.

He fought a kid...  Grin Grin Grin
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2811618-what-exactly-is-happening-with-floyd-mayweathers-fight-in-japan
Its just really a mismatch even though it was an exhibition but on this upcoming match between Tyson and Roy Jones will really be different since both came from on same field.
Its announced that it will be an 8 round kind of match which isnt really that surprising considering their age which supposedly heavyweights should be on 12 rounder.
People would surely lost interest if this one will really be similar on what we had saw on that previous Mayweather-Japanese Kid fight.
Is that even considered as exhibition match when Mayweather fights the Japanese kid? I thought it is some kind of joke because the round only last 1 round. He destroyed a 20 year old boxer, that match cannot compare to the upcoming match. Both of the contender have good boxing background where they knockout a lot of popular boxers. Even though the match will only last at 8 rounds, I am sure that it is enough to give hype especially to the audiences and to their fans. I think Mike Tyson gonna win in that match but everything is possible, maybe Roy is lucky enough to knockout the previous heavy weight champion.
271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: August 14, 2020, 12:01:04 PM
Imagine you want to become profitable trader but you keep depending on others by joining in signal groups or finding a fund manager. There is nothing wrong about it because it is your money after all, if you keep rely on the shit signals out there then it will be your own fault if you lose your hard earned money. Do not be deceived by the signals out there because most of them are scammers. Do not also have a wrong mindset where you think you can become profitable by just relying on signals.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when Bitcoin reach$20k? on: August 14, 2020, 07:23:40 AM
I will sell half of my portfolio off if the price reaches $20K and continue to hodl the other half while waiting for another pump irrespective of the price behavior bullish or bearish all I need to do is to wait patiently the mistake of not selling some in the last ATH in 2017 had taught a lot of us lessons while some hodlers luckly sold off some of their coins then thus making a massive profits, bitcoin hodling is for strong-minded people not for feeble-minded ones who fumbles and sell off in any massive dump in it price.
If the price of the bitcoin beat its previous ATH and make new ATH where it ls price already achieved $20k, I will do trailing stops. Trailing stop is part of risk management and its goal is to preserve the gains and the profit. I will only sell and close my position if there will be a breakdown in the daily chart because for me it is a sign of weakness and it indicates the trend is not valid anymore where it will transition into bearish.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: August 14, 2020, 05:50:12 AM
Africans have leaders who keep promising them a better tomorrow, but they never fulfill their promises, rather they even steal more from them and most of their leaders even have accounts in foreign countries like the US, the British, and other countries where they move the money they steal from those poor countries. Politicians make promises to them and when they are voted in, they still become corrupt and start the same process of looting from the country. It’s very bad.

There are lots of poor people and families, adults and kids that can’t afford to feed themselves and at the end some of them resort to crime to be able to feed themselves. This is why I believe that for any country to be developed, it all depends on the leaders.
That is part of their propaganda in order to deceive the public and in order for them to be elected, I'm sure that African people are already aware that they deserve better government, the promises of those politician are scam and it is just a way for them to deceive the citizens. The corruption is now part of their culture and it is really hard to change it for sure, but it doesn't mean that all of the future politician will be corrupt. There is still hope in that country all they need to do is to vote wise person that can fix the problems in many countries in Africa.
274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake 3 Out Now!!! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: August 14, 2020, 03:38:34 AM
Question related to the rambo raffle. In case the winner wont take the lambo and willing to get money equivalent to the Lambo's value.
Is it possible? As I think there are some people who do not want to get a huge attention from other people where he lives.
Or perhaps for some other reasons like something related to TAX.
Here in my country for example, the TAX system is not really friendly as we need to pay some percent from value of the stuff.
Lets say someone from my country win the Lambo, he/she will need to pay at least 17.5% from the value of the Lambo.
So let us know whether it is possible to get money equivalent to the Lambo's value or not?

We're strong believers in making it happen, if the winner prefers to get the cash value in crypto that is a possibility.  However I know our CEO is quite excited to go drop off the keys if possible.

No doubt about it as it can be a huge news in this gambling industry to see someone win a Lambo from the raffle. It can be a good advertisement tool for Stake as well once there is someone confirm that he receive the Lambo.
Many people will ask the winner where and how he won the Lambo, and it can be something viral in online world which means an advertisement for Stake.
Thanks for the answer and it is nice to hear that there is an option to take it in cash value.
I believe many people prefer to get the cash because the winner can get it faster without waiting for the shipping process and some other possible processes.

The persons who will win in the raffle will prefer cash for sure, you are lucky if you win the Lambo but there is consequences of it and it is the hassle where you need to pay huge taxes in order for you to receive it and able to drive it in your country. For sure that the management of the Stake will let the winner to pick between the Lambo or just BTC that is equivalent to the price of the Lambo. This kind of promotion is really good and for sure a lot is now dreaming about winning that kind of prize.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: there is one thing onely that can save the usa dollar on: August 14, 2020, 02:10:45 AM
Actually if there was nothing wrong with the politicians and USA had like dreamy politicians that does feel like surreal but just "did what they suppose to" as in just serve public and nothing more and that's it, USA dollar would have been so valuable that we would be effected as bitcoin people because bitcoin price would go down.

In reality the only reason any currency goes down is failure of the rulers, this is not just dollars, in any part of the world when one fiat becomes less valuable that is 100% guaranteed because of governments acting to make themselves more powerful and rich while not caring a single bit about the people around them. I do not know how we could ever stop that but that is really just what it suppose to be in the start and somehow it is not anymore.
The US dollars is weakening and many people do not become aware on it, actually our local currency rate increase in these past days and it is a sign that the US dollar is weakening. Maybe one of the factors is the huge supply of the printed money in their economy, last months ago the FED printed more than $1 trillion in order to prevent the dying economy of the U.S. Yes they prevented it but the consequences is now happening where there is huge supply in economy. Rulers maybe a factor but still it is not the main factor, anyway the economy of the U.S is currently recovering so for sure that there will be also effect to their currency.
276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: August 14, 2020, 01:09:22 AM
Wow, this thread suddenly becomes active. Was launched Dec 2018 and because of their sig campaign, users here suddenly got the interest. This is the power of sig campaign. Good job for the casino owner/s who finally decided to promote their casino via sig campaign and handled by a reputable manager. Encountered this thread just now because of the campaign. And it seems that they did well in the past couple of years because they have 3M+ users on board. That's a big one.
Advertising and promoting is a huge factor in the success of the business, after they launched their signature campaign; the Gamdom became popular in a matter of hour. For sure this will lead to them to become successful but it is not enough because the competition when it comes to online casino is so stiff but they can dominate the industry to proper marketing strategies.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Wealth distribution, and tragedy of the commons. on: August 13, 2020, 01:33:44 PM
This has been and is happening. This life from the beginning was not fair, there will be people like this and people like that, from there we will have a Society. I have always believed that those who strive to live for a career and for the country, they will be in the rich class. for spiritual people, they will create recreational services for the common community. in short, everything was arranged from the start, let the law of nature continue and government should not interfere.
All of us have different perspective so I understand what you just said, I see the world as fair as it is where there is full of abundance and prosperity; I will carry this belief until my last breath. There is really a socioeconomic status where the middle class stay to middle class where the poor become more poorer and where the rich become more richer. All of it starting with thoughts, middle class persons stay middle class because they have poor and middle class mentality. Poor people stay poor not because of lack of opportunity but because of their poor mentality. Rich people are becoming rich not because they are greedy but because they have rich mindset where they keep making money in any instances.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: August 13, 2020, 10:44:09 AM
It's too risky to trade without setting a stop-loss, you are just lucky to be making profit without setting a stop-loss.
Since you haven't been trading for long, it's still safe without the stop-loss feature. After all right now the market is bullish,
so naturally you can make profit without setting a stop-loss. My advice is to use the stop-loss feature from now on, before
you are too late realize the importance of trading with stop-losses. Later, if the market is suddenly bearish, you will regret not
use the stop-loss feature. That's what I experienced, crypto dump prices suddenly and I regret not using the stop-loss feature.
It is true that the risks will increase without using cut loss or stop loss, the main goal of using it is to prevent huge losses. Trading is a game of possibilities, there is no strategy that is 100% winning rate so every strategies have a downside and it is up to us on how we will manage it. In my way, I managing my risks to stop loss feature, I usually use automated stop loss of the exchange for me to have convenience where I will not worry if my bias did not happen.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 13, 2020, 08:47:08 AM
Hmm, I will not get biased but I think we can't fearlessly say that forex is better than crypto trading in general. Every investors got their own interests, we should respect that. If you find that you are not well suited to forex but okay with crypto then that's great, at least you realized something before losing money further Cheesy. Follow the field where you excel.

But you know what, I want to try forex trading in the future as well. Though it was more technical than the other one, I still like it because it challenges me. You know, there's nothing wrong of being versatile. Whether it's fiat or crypto, money is money baby Wink.
It is not debatable after all because all of us have different perspective, of course we are here in the bitcointalk forum so in our perspective; cryptocurrencies are more good to trade and it is also expected that there are people out there who thinks the opposite of our perspective where they think forex are more suitable for them. I rely on my preferences after all so I trade cryptocurrencies often than any financial securities. My second option is the global stocks in etoro and I usually avoid forex because it is none of my interests.
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: August 13, 2020, 07:45:46 AM
Both are risky.
First, how you will know if the coin you holding is good? like their about their project, how you can define "good"? A lot of altcoins nowadays that are only good in the first few weeks/months, but after that, slowly dumping off, so be careful.
On trading part, you will need a skill here, you need time to learn to trade, learn technical skills, this is also risky. You can minimize the risk if you have good risk management and have good emotion.
Yeah it is true, one of the hardest task for a trader is to choose what coin is good or bad. So how are you going to do that? I will give you an example on how I pick a certain coin that I will use in trading. I first determine if I will do holding or I will just trade in a short period of time after I determine that, I will focus now in the exchange that I will use because there are times where the coin that I will trade is only available in some exchanges and for me it is the matter. And then I will check if thr volume is good for me to really determine if it is a shitcoin or it is one of the potential one that can give me rewards.
