I think if someone tends to selling btc now is the same as buying between 18,000 - 20,000$.

RSI is now near the oversold levels and showing some indication of reversal, so what do you waiting for..just grab some btc now and thank me later Wink
All of the standard indicators that you have access to with commercial trading tools are going to be largely useless. After all, the people who create those types of indicators already have them priced in whilst also having much more sophisticated algorithms to raze down the hordes of people that use the publicly available indicators.

Yeah right....

Do you really believe what you are saying?  The "sophisticated players" know based on more sophisticated tools that are going to tell them?    Right.   Roll Eyes

The "Sophisticated" tool is brutal force, no?

The bastards spiked his crank with glucose or some such evil concoction. His body just couldn't take it.

Or just Occam's Razor, that he knowingly took some questionable shit or overdosed and ended up in a hospital.

But of course we'll never fully know the truth. He'll spin this as sabotage/assassination attempt to further his mystique.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste."

For some or another reason, I suspect him to be our "Bottom upholder".  Grin Grin

The scariest part of this drop is that there isn't even any major FUD driving it. It's not like last time where there was the China ban and Gox and major exchange issues happening left and right. The drop is just happening naturally on it's own. What is going to happen when the real FUD begins?

Parelleling this phenomena is the continiously unanimous bullishness in the forum. Charts always with some upwards plot and bulls popping champagne and posting rockets every time there is a 5% rise, and circle jerking eachother 'oh yes that's a great analysis, just how I see it. excellent work. and things will be even more bullish after XYZ conference. we could take this further and add an extra digit or two.' (as the bottom is being challenged on low volume)

I could see this coming from a mile away because bitcoin is just a derivative of the dollar.  When browsing random crap on Amazon lately, I noticed that every single manufacturer of several products were all having to slash prices big in order to try and move anything, indicating the mainstream consumer is completely tapped out and we're tilting back towards deflationary collapse again.  Also, places like Bank of America just added a $10 a month fee just to have a checking account there, indicating banks are losing money and desperate too.

So yea, probably get ready for the next 2008 soon.  Contrary to random noob's opinions on this forum, bitcoin cannot be pump and dumped in the middle of a deflationary collapse since all it is is a dollar derivative, while also being a high risk asset and miles away from the base of Exter's Pyramid.

What if we live in a inverse Exter 's pyramid time? I think you are mistaking this one Roach. In the run up to the crisis, yes BTC will suffer. But then it will inverse, just as precious ones... .

What is going to happen when the real FUD begins?

There is never any real FUD, silly bear. It's all fake made up bullshit.

We don 't need FUD. What I hear in my environment is that people find BTC compromised by the irrational pump and subsequent dump. So they consider it unreliable as investment. That is the opinion of 99.95% of the people I know around here. And that is also what MSM and all the very serious people here tell us on a weekly basis.

We will hang around the actual flat or Barted curve till something external happens. I do not expect that before late September... .

Now all the Germans get depressed. Expect a serious dump... .  Grin

Mexican will overcompensate that. And they need it more than dumping Germans.

Dumping power of Germans versus buying power of Mexicans? Ok let 's see... . Cheesy

It 's that time again : holding up the bottom. (Now, I think the previous one, from Infofront, was a bit too heavy, so the upholder would get crushed under it... . What of course, under the right circomstances could be a rather pleasant experience).  Wink Wink

He is going to merge with Daimler-Benz and BMW and Volkswagen, profitability is on the breakfast table tomorrow.

The guys being attacked for his views on gloablization

Seems to have some liberal witch hunt against him (media changed on him and regulators enforced more issues)

"His views" have little to do with how he runs his companies.

I'm not following the whole USDT drama, to me it's just like another alt/shitcoin, i.e. if anything, people would try to escape into BTC when it crashes. Of course it can take down some exchanges, but if you keep your BTC on exchanges thats the risk that you're taking

It may be unfashionable to think it, but I don't really believe there is one any more. Even if at one point it was money out of thin air, and there's no proof either way, they've likely earned it back now.

It's going to be a forever mystery I reckon that's rolled out every now and then for a quick scare.

It may indeed never get cleared out. But they surely played the most sophisticated scam ever : they played the role of central bank in crypto... .  Wink

Damn. They must be run by The Jews® then.
/s

Edit: I'm adding this quote from Eric Meltzer of INBlockchain because its a slow day here:

Quote
As a jew, I find the existence of basically unseizable money outside of state control massively comforting. To jews, the state is an unpredictable monster that flips out every century or so. Having the ability to leave without leaving everything behind is key.”

What is intrigueing me for some time already is the name of the ceo of finexed and Tether : "Van De Velde". That is so Flemish as can be, so I wonder... .

And the jew part, well, let 's see what Roach has to say about it.

The only effective FUD that I could foresee coming out would be major Tether-related news. For example, the Dept. of Justice announcing criminal charges.

Also, please stop posting. I'm going to run out of merit!

I give you one, the holding the bottom seems to have a positive effect... . Wink
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 14, 2018, 05:10:14 PM
I'm very disheartened today. Lost a major chunk of my bitcoin holdings (almost 0.38 BTC) on Bitmex even though I've been longing since $8000 with just 4x leverage (adding more & more after every dump to average it further down), but still at $6140, I got liquidated. With this, I can pretty much assure that $6140 was actually the bottom. It was only to liquidate me, hard luck. Don't comment that I need to risk only what I can afford to lose, I know that very well, just had some real bad luck (as well as confusion) this time.

For reasons like this, I continue to conclude (personally) that leveraging is not necessary, especially in bitcoin.  In bitcoin we are lucky to experience outrageously stupendous returns, and I we do not need to leverage in order to achieve such outrageously stupendous returns on our investment.

Accordingly, if you just invest regularly, then the most that you can lose is 100% of what you put in - but if you employ leverage (especially using the margin trade vehicles supplied by exchanges), you not only can lose your 100% more quickly, you also lose it way faster, which causes a kind of magnification that if you employ 4x leverage than you can lose 400% - something like that.  Therefore, I still consider any kind of leveraging to be too far into a "gambling" rather than "investing" category, especially with bitcoin.

Exactly. And I really don 't understand why people want to expose themselves to this kind of practice.

So I've heard that Goldman Sachs has started a Bitcoin trading desk.

Raise your hand if you think they would kick things off by going long with huge on-exchange market buys?

Or...?  Grin

Lol, CME ?
