261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: January 12, 2018, 02:18:50 PM
“One of the keys to a trader’s success was not the results of a trade but rather how a trader reacted to the results of a trade.” – Dan Gamza

Why me? Why did this happen to me? Those are some of the questions that disturb losing traders. After a series of losses, some of them develop hatred for trading. Suffering that results from negative trades, drawdowns and margin calls can make people easily disappointed in trading.

Nonetheless, no matter how bad your trading is, it could’ve been worse. No matter how bad things are, there are still some reasons to be thankful, if you can think deep.

There are events that move the markets and which professionals focus on. These events often are filled with uncertainties, bringing profits and losses to people. Just some months ago, Greece was a hot topic, and speculators were mulling opening positions on the seemingly overextended markets, but some had serious misgivings. At times, the stakes may be higher than the rewards.

There Is Really Nothing Like Losses

There is really nothing like losses, for what brings losses to some people is what brings profits to others. The market moves up or down – not losing up or down. When you buy EURUSD and it goes up, you win (but a seller will lose). When you sell AUDJPY and it goes up, you lose (but a buyer will win). When you enter a direction in the market and it moves seriously in your favor, all those who go in that direction will make money, provided there are no wide differences in their entry prices.

What you call losses is what brings profits to some people. What you call profits is what brings losses to some people.

People Don’t Learn Their Lessons

Despite well-meaning efforts to solve the problem of loss, there are millions of traders around the world who’re still losing because of dangerous trading habits. People don’t learn their lessons.

During a funeral process, many attendees will be remorseful, thinking about the brevity of life and futility of wickedness, anxiety, love of money and so on. But once the funeral is done, you’ll see many of those attendees living their lives as if they’d not die again.

Too many traders lost in the past because they didn’t use stop loss on live and simulated accounts. When they come back to trading, you’ll see them using the same trading approaches that led to their downfall the last time, namely, high lot sizes and no stop loss. People don’t learn their lessons.

Traders who test new trading ideas on demos don’t use stops; and I wonder how that idea can survive on live accounts in the long haul, because they may apply it to a demo account once they’ve been lucky enough to gather some gains.

A Way Out?
After many years of grappling with the markets, traders who complained in the past may later show their gratitude; and for the fact that the markets cannot be blamed for what happen to them (though we may feel disappointed sometimes). There are days when they become sad, and they complain when they think of their seeming helplessness. Nonetheless, they’d have come to understand that the markets don’t set out to punish individuals.

Interacting with good traders as well as reading about super successful ones would’ve made them stronger psychologically and kept their spirits up.

Reflecting on a possibility of a risk-free trading approach reassures those who’re currently losing. Good trading coaches care about them, knowing full well that the end of their struggles is in sight. Focusing on such hope can give a trader the fortitude to endure certain negativity now.

Conclusion: Are you disappointed in trading? Well those who currently make loads of money from trading were once disappointed at some time in their careers. Those whose marriage is now successful were at one time, frustrated by their spouse. But these people, for example, profitable traders (as well as happily married persons), looked for solutions to their problems and apply those solutions faithfully. That doesn’t mean they’re luckier or better than others: that means they’re able to overcome the causes of frustrations and disappointment in their careers.

This article is ended with the quote below:

“Markets are people. So beating them asks for insight in what they are doing. And, perhaps more importantly, how they feel, because that will direct their future actions and, in the end, what markets will do.” – Dirk Vandycke

Sometimes i am disappointed but sometimes not because everytime i get a lot of money in this trading i do not blame them i thank and praise them because of a lot of profits that they are giving to me. But whenever i trade coins and fees are too high them my coins are cheap i am very disappointed because there is no way i can win that back again i will wait till the next tokens that eill be given to me because i only join in a bounty campaign to be much more safe but the fees are getting expensive that makes me disappointed
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 12, 2018, 01:57:46 PM
Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?

We cannot say that thing right now because they are just getting started in the business. But i have seen a news that are saying that the ripple can be bigger than bitcoins if ever that the people will support them because the overall quantity of the ripple is way more than bitcoins so if people decided to go all in to ripple they will absolutely gonna be huge. And i am planning to invest in ripple this time because the value of ripple is very low but have a high chances to be huge. So if ever that they will be much expensive than bitcoins my money will be millions.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: January 12, 2018, 12:08:06 PM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

Actually you can do that because job always have a break time and spare time and trading you can do that everytime you want to because you controlled the time you will trade. So everytime you have a spare time do trading. It is also gonna add a source of income for you that will allow you to gain a lot if money in a short period of time. Just do not quit your job because trading is going to be hard at first so incase you didn't like it you still have your job. But force to like it because it is very profitable.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: January 12, 2018, 11:26:49 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

Of course being strategic because being smart doesn't mean you will have a lot of physical skills that needs in a business to become rich and successful in life and besides there are a lot of billionaires that do not have a lot of brains but have a lot of skills. And in this business it doesnt matter if you are smart or not the important is you know the process and youbare good at it. And being strategic will allow you to find a lot of way a lot of source of income so you will never lose money and will help you handle a loss.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 10:03:20 AM
Should I invest in Bitcoin?

Yes you should invest in bitcoin before it is too late because the value of bitcoins today are much smaller and cheaper than it is used to be. And we all know that the bitcoins price will rise again within the month so it will be much profitable yo us if we buy in a lower price then sell it in a much higher price and that my friend is what we called a buy and sell process but you can always do a long term inverstment because some people are saying that bitcoins will reach $50k but they never know when will that happen.

267  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: January 12, 2018, 07:30:42 AM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.

For me bitcoins is much more special because of the fact that they are the poineer in this business and the people they are the first one that the people have been noticed so in exchange the people gave their loyalty to them and a lot of people are now using bitcoins and recommending bitcoins rather than other coins because the reliability of there and the people walways want to assure their money they are afraid to take a lot of riak joining in a different coins that are not known by a lot of people hut today other coins are making their name.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 11, 2018, 12:59:38 PM
Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley

For mw when i am chosing the right ico that i will join i am relying from those manager that the icos have. If that manager is very trusted and reliable like lauda for example i am absolutely gonna join in that campaigns. There are a lot of icos out there that are legit even  manager are just new im the business but to make sure i ask my friends what am i going to join a campaign they said that choose this campaigns that yhese manager then i get used to it then it is okay. So far no scams yet amd hoping for no scams at all.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin rise? on: January 11, 2018, 10:01:52 AM
when do you thing Bitcoin is gonna rise again?
its preety much stuck in 12k to 15k!
why is that?
Mcfee said it will reach 1m!
when is that gonna happen?

No one can ever predict and say when will the bitcoins will rise because it is very unpredictable so even the experts cannot know when will the bitcoins rises the $15k value they are today. Because the value of bitcoins varies to the supply and demand of the bitcoins transaction of the people that are occuring everyday. The higher the demand the higher the price of bitcoins will be. The bitcoins just drop their price because of those people who sell their bitcoin in the month of December that is fge reason why the bitcoins are falling right know
270  Economy / Economics / Re: One Bitcoin, $10,000. Ten Thousand Dollars. on: January 11, 2018, 09:25:25 AM
Wow brothers and sisters, 2017 and Bitcoin reached the 10,000 USD mark.

Congratulations to all Bitcoin enthusiasts all around the world, it really has hit mainstream now, has it Smiley

Oh our Bitcoin, the world knows you now!

That is how impressive bitcoins are and as a matter of fact before 2017 ends the bitcoins had reached $20k in the market but unfortunately the bitcoin drops in the christmas season. But in this year 2018, we hope that the bitcoins will reach more than $20k in the market in just the first quarter of the month and i also hope that bitcoins will be more acceptable by the other retailers because as a bitcoins enthusiasts and a bitcoin user i am looking forward to use bitcoins rather than fiat anymore.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 11, 2018, 08:17:10 AM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

No i do not think so because the government will not alloe that to happen because if that happens they do not have an access anymore into money and they cannot added taxes anymore because bitcoins are decentralized. Maybe bitcoins will just co exist with the dollars like bitcoins will be use as a mode of payment too but they will never replaced dollars because it is controlled by the government and the Government always wants the power and running a currency of the country is a lot of power.
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: January 11, 2018, 05:49:49 AM
just woke up on this massive dump !

what do you think it's causing this ? and do you think this is the best time to buy ? or it will dump even more   Shocked

Just do not panic my friend because altcoins is just like bitcoins they are volatile which means the value of them are not stable. They will always goes up and down like a roller coaster ride. Panicking is not a good way to be better in this business. Not unless your altcoins are just another shitcoins but lets hope that it is not because if your altcoins are those top altcoins like ethereum litecoins and many more that is normal for them to go up and down in the market and a lot of people are saying theybare going great this time so no need to worry.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: January 11, 2018, 04:44:39 AM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

I think people preferred bitcoins over fiat because they have more freedom to their money in this rather than the fiat because those are decentralize and the government always have a commission to your money. No tax at all and all those money you will gain you will get is 100% in the bitcoins and the fact that the bitcoins is volatile you can also have an investment to it. Your money can either grow or fall but the bitcoins being famous in this period of time the value of bitcoins will not go down but rather go up everytime.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: January 10, 2018, 10:53:25 AM
I want to invest about 500$
any suggestions what will go very high?

Thanks

There are a lot of successful altcoins these days and there are some rumors that there are an altcoin that can surpass the value of bitcoins because they gave much more total value rather than bitcoins and that is ripple but those do not have any legit basis so we cannot teust all of them tgat quickly but ethereum also have pumping a lot of price in the market they are the leading coins in the altcoins bracket so it is much better to diversify your money into different altcoins for sure money that will come to you.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advice: When should I cash out? on: January 10, 2018, 10:09:12 AM
I have been investing in a bunch of different coins for a while now, mainly BTC, ETH, LTC, and some other lesser-known coins. I have a lot of different coins in my portfolio to stabilize/reduce risk.

I love the gains that these coins provide. I never panic-sell, and always hodl and buy low. That has been my simple strategy.

However, I have a problem - how do I train myself to know when to cash out?

For instance, last night the BTC price was high (18K), and ETH/LTC price were low.

I could have cashed out then, and invested in ETH/LTC, which are seeing a nice pump now.

How do you know when to cash out??

Right now the only time I cash out is when I need to money to buy a gift or something.

The very smart move that is actually obvious is cash out your holding if you gained a lot of money like for example you just bought it in a $10k and a week after the coin pumps and now you have $20k so it is much better to cash it oit befote the value drops again just do not be so greedy because i was greedy before and i thought it will still pump but not so i lose a lot of money and time also. But if you really need the money then no matter what price it is you cash it out because you need it it is and emergency and it is okay.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: January 10, 2018, 09:42:09 AM
At present situation government actually not so much concern about such kind of currency for that  reason people are not so much interested for using this currency. it is now use as a electronic currency though computerized system.
in terms of purchase and sales bit coin holder's are safe but the  lack of proper monitoring system by implementing different protocols client are demotivated for using this currency on investment projects.Every country's government should established a policy for securing those client who are holder of bitcoin like an cash or deposit account holders and this types of policy help to motivated bitcoin holders for investing different sector for establishing new entrepreneur in order to development of economical condition.

Bitcoins investment is safe if you just buybthem and hold all your bitcoins but when you decided to invest those bitcoins you have into a project that makes it not safe because not all projects are legit the technology today is pretty easy to use so it is now easy to do a scam too. Some people are getting scam because of investing in an allegedly bitcoins investment but for me if you really wanted to hold bitcoins just simply buy it and hold into a wallet there are a lot.of wallet apps here in the internet jist think wisely.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: January 10, 2018, 09:12:52 AM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

If the internet connection will be down there are no chances we can transact bitcoins anymore because it needs an internet connection even an offline wallet need and internet connection if you are gonna use it. And not kust bitcoins but all the files that are saved in the internet because in the modern days all the files of the people are now been saved in the cloud in the internet and how can they access it if the internet is down anymore. So gor me it is impossible to down the internet connection in this period of time chaos will happen.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: January 10, 2018, 08:09:41 AM
Imagine the situation in which we don't have any physical money and every currency is digitalized. The US dollar is now a token, the Japanese Yen is only in the network and the British pound is a fast-moving digital coin. What are the consequences of such an economy for the poorest of the population? Do you think that a few people can influence the digital wealth of people and wouldn't hackers be the best people to have as friends?

I do not think so because economy without physical money suggesting that all the people need to have a mobile device because that us where it can easily be transferred to others and to hold it as a wallet but what happens to the poor? They need to buy that in order to buy things that they need and so the mobile phones will now be a basic needs because you cannot buy food without it because physical money dont exist anymore think about it. There are a lot pf people who will oppose it because it is hard for them to cope up.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !! on: January 10, 2018, 03:33:40 AM

Bitcoin is climbing back again after the big December dip and it seems that people who almost got nervous breakdown when they read that Bitcoin was crashing are now smiling happily again. As just another traditional move for Bitcoin, we have been to a great rollercoaster ride for the holidays.

I am sure this is one of the many ways that Bitcoin is telling us that it is very resilient despite of all the problems it has been carrying on for a long time -- the clogs and the high transaction cost -- and that we should be looking for a better and much prosperous 2018.

Are you happy that Bitcoin seems to be back on the game -- again?

I told you that bitcoins will.always come back again to the top because they just fall down because of the threat that the government was saying because here in our country the government and the other banks are saying that bitcoins is risky and it is much better to stay away from it. And the main reason too is that it is Christmas season so the people are selling their holdings because they needed money but today it is January and the thing goes back to normal these days
280  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 02:27:23 AM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.

I think this year the bitcoins will be much more accepted in the market because they are getting famous and known all around the world. Especially in jaoan there are retailers that are highly accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment and we all know that japan is leading when it becomes in technology and i know that people will start to trust more the bitcoins because of that thing. I know that some stored in america are accepting bitcoins as a payment and now that bitcoins are rising i think they will now use it before itnis too late.
