well i do believe there is institutions that secretly hold bitcoin, i do think nasdaq is a great company and they are able to provide a good market surveliance which will make market better and safer. Looks like many economies around the world are going to be suffering major downfalls around 2030. The demographic pyramid is completely fucked up in many countries, with locals not having kids because basically millennial cannot afford to live on their own due low wages and high cost of living. In Europe it's all over the place. What grinds my gears is economists saying immigration is the solution and they will pay our retirement funds. This is insanity.
Anyway, do you have a portfolio that makes you comfortable about the future? we are definitely on our own so be sure to have some passive source of income for the future. Hopefully Bitcoin saves our ass and by 2030 we don't have to worry about money anymore.

2008/2009 feel like very special year for me, I could feel all the people around me are very different compare to before, they have a lot of worries, I overheard one of my respected senior talking about their worry about their pension, worry about the future generation, worry about their job security, a lot of worry, but as a millennial I have no clue why they're so worry about them.
To flash back it today, I'm still unable to understand all their worries, it may be the reason of age-gap, the one age group that felt stronger came from the older generation.

Well i believe people always have a problem and they do worries about their future cause we are educated to make our future great and in fact not everyone could became success in future. I think in a few years all people will start using Bitcoin to buy products and so on. Because the blockchain and crypto will greatly change our world for the better.
But thats not that easy, i think the number of transactions using bitcoin will gradually increasing and we soon will see so many great institutions investors coming into this space, and i also believe soon bitcoin demands will increasing and that means good things will coming for crypto and bitcoin. For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!
I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.
It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!) It can be scary.
Bitcoin are started to became stable once again at $3400 - $3500, and we got so many momentum such as Bakkt launch, and fidelity custody that will happen in march. I do believe bakkt and fidelity could become the trigger that will make so many businesses to enter the crypto world and i believe soon STO will replace ICO and crypto investments will back to live once again like in 2017. |

Some people call this news a fud. Even if it's true, I don't think we'll see a big movement at the price.
On the other hand, we see that VC funding is increasing even though we face a bearish season. Not surprising, speculation and maybe realization of blockchain potential clicked those VC. I still think people who want to risk a lot will choose crypto instead of gold or any other asset. It's a high-risk high return investment, after all.

The Blockchain is so simple and yet 90% of the people still don't understand how it works. It's just a bunch of independent computers,who verify transactions by solving complex math tasks. For that work (solving complex math tasks),they get rewarded with bitcoins.This is also known as bitcoin mining.I guess that this is the most simple explanation of all times. well i did bought a lot of new coins cause i do think that when the market do recovers ill going to gain a lot of profits. I do believe we should be wise before buy any new coins, cause many ico are scam and so many coins not able to survive in the bear market. The comment above is absolutely correct. Centralized exchanges spend very little attention on security and a lot of attention on making big profits. I am sure that this is not the last major and successful hacker attack on the stock exchange (there are thoughts that Cryptopia itself arranged this attack in order to get the money of its clients).
Do not keep your money on the exchanges!

There are so many ideas/concepts is trying to prevail in the market but is there any formula to separate strong project from scams/weak projects.
Which scale should an investor use to go before investing in a coin? Is it the code, or the system it based, or their community strength, or is it depends on their venture capital that how much big it is?
I think you need to focus on product and experience of the team. I believe investing in new coin will takes a lot of time to be fruitful. I do agree community strengtnh do matter cause it affect the volume of the coins, but still i believe the most important things is the developments of the product. |

YES, in troubled economy of an environment or country, how to survive becomes the struggle of the people and if bitcoin is available they are definite to survive, even in my country we have been battling with economy recession but we have always been able to survive the hurdles with this great opportunity.
yes i see this as a solutions for country such as venezuella. Maduro trying to using crypto currency to fight the hyperinflation in their country, i do think they could success but many country are nit ready to do transactions using cryptocurrency which become obstacle for venezuella to do transactions with others country. |

There are a lot of small shops which accept crypto payments around the world. However, in my opinion, what will really push the cryptocurrencies forward is the adoption of Bitcoin by some big player in the trading industry, such as Amazon.
What do you think, will Amazon start to accept Bitcoin as a payment method if its price rises to new-record values again (like in 2017)? Could it be that they are not adopting it because they treat crypto as a hostile technology for their business? Or they just don't take Bitcoin seriously, like thinking it will despair in the near future?
I do think there will be high possibilities that they will accept bitcoin but not because the price, the main reasons that amazon still not accept bitcoin cause crypto regulations still unclear. |

For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.
If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.
Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?
Well i believe KYC could be use to prevent money laundry and the goverments could take that information if necessary. Ya you could be right after all goverments wanted to track the money flow to prevent money laundry and tax evasion. |
