261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: February 03, 2024, 07:07:05 AM
If I have an addict that stays around me and I want to help him, i will first attack his mentality towards and about gambling.

There are obvious stories about gambling that he might not have heard about, I will even create negative imaginations about the downsides of gambling and next will be to engage him as a form of distraction from the regular gambling activities.
It's definitely not as simple as you think. Your approach could drive them into a frenzy making matters worse which is why this isn't the most efficient strategy and I am speaking from experience.

A calm and patient approach is required to deal with such addicts in my opinion. Think!
262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: February 02, 2024, 12:58:17 PM
Not so I think.. just placing opposite sports bets from two different accounts (betting on both issues) can show to be cheaper and easier than laundering money the traditional ways !!
This is a bad strategy to try and launder money without the books catching on. Why? Because betting on both sides with 1 or 2 accounts would lead to a guaranteed loss thanks to the juice charged by the books.

It could work if they were arbing, but it is also risky to a certain extent especially when dealing with big money.

Xavier Bartlett is running through the Windies at the moment thanks to bowling effectively without giving away too many extras so far. The Windies top order seriously sucks and keeps going down like a pack of dominoes again and again.

Their middle order and tail-enders are far better in comparison in my honest opinion. Australia on top at the moment.
264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: February 01, 2024, 06:26:29 AM
If centralized exchange and banks could need licenses then I do not think anything is wrong with casinos having a license even though they accept Bitcoin deposits, this is very important since to avoid casinos becoming used for mixing money and laundering the same.
There is nothing wrong indeed, but it's pointless if you think about it since these are licenses from some random islands across the world with little credibility due to which they aren't exactly reliable.

Also, you don't need licenses to avoid money laundering and mixing. Proper wagering requirements solves those issues effectively.

I am not watching/following this serious but england's performance was so bad in the World cup tournament. are they still same or improved little bit?
Test Cricket is different than ODI tho. so anything can happen. England used to be a tuff competitor.
They improved a bit in all departments thanks to promising young players like Hartley, but they are still over-dependent to a large extent on olders players like Pope, Root, Stokes etc if you ask me.

They still have a long way to go in order to get back to how they were before a couple of years ago.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: January 31, 2024, 06:17:04 AM
Do you really think people will magically stop blaming gambling whenever they lose? Anyone who thinks like that are way too naive and gullible since people always find something/someone to try and blame for their losses.

They try to reduce their own guilt by diverting the blame towards something/someone which is basic human nature.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: January 30, 2024, 12:46:33 PM
The more there is no clarity regarding this case, the reputation of coins.game is at stake. Maybe members here are starting to think about their ++ balance on coins.game and will think twice when they want to bet there. I'm not siding with Gekke, because this doesn't fully reveal the real villain. Coins.game must act quickly.
The entire scenario seems pretty clear to me. @GekkeBelg is using some sort of great system to win consistently in various sites due to which a couple of them limited him, but allowed him to withdraw his funds.

Some others like Coins.Game seem to have banned him and confiscated his funds. I doubt they will reverse their decision to be frank. Complicated!
268  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: January 30, 2024, 05:36:58 AM
Anyone with a half-decent brain knows for a fact that Musk messed up royally with Twitter(X is such a stupid name btw) in more ways than one and only his fans would say otherwise frankly speaking.

The losses that he incurred from this site probably won't even put a dent on his wealth, but it certainly made it pretty clear to everyone that he isn't some perfect genius. No one is!
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 29, 2024, 06:26:36 AM
Since the top order batsmen failed in the Indian second innings, Ravichandran Ashwin made 28 runs in the end but was not able to take his team home. Mohammed Siraj  made 12 runs before he was out while Jasprit Bumrah  remains not out at 6. It was anyone’s game at the end but England bowlers stood out and make sure they all out Indian team and make their first test win.
Luck was on England's side in this match if I am being honest since India suffered from 2 critical runouts in both innings which were game-changing. The tail-enders tried their best and did much better than some of the top order players.

Another thing that helped the English greatly was Pope's epic innings who single-handedly pulled his side back up when it looked like they would lose by an innings.

So it does not have anything to do with them being a scam, at least directly. Obviously, I would never recommend anyone to download an APK file from a shady casino and allow them to have many permissions over the ones personal smartphone, one can only speculate what kind of malware they could slip in that package. They could perfectly could search for private Bitcoin keys or wallets in our Android devices if they wanted to.
Makes sense. So many countries restrict gambling to a large extent which is why play store and app store resort to these sort of restrictions in order to make sure that they don't run the government in the wrong way.

We cannot prohibit this collaboration from happening because all decisions are up to Barcelona management, they should screen their potential sponsors
Well said. I think they know about the shady stuff related to 1xbet, but don't really mind it since they are in dire need of funds as you mentioned.
271  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: January 28, 2024, 07:02:00 AM
I hope they won't give up on the forum, I think this is not a lot of money for the casino to jeopardize their reputation here and on casino review sites. As I said, the start was nice, it would be foolish to ruin all that.
Agreed. Personally, I advertised this particular site for almost half an year and never encountered any issues while playing on their site and when receiving my signature campaign payments.

It's disheartening to see their reputation going down the drain in this manner which is why I hope they rectify these allegations asap.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 27, 2024, 06:52:58 AM
It's great to see Windies fighting back against the mighty Aussies despite all odds against them. Hope they somehow manage to give them a target close to 250.

Looking back at the Indian batting it seems Axar Patel should be sent before Ashwin. He could have got more runs on the scoreboard if he had someone good on the non striker end. As India started losing remaining wickets quickly the pressure of getting runs on Axar led to his dismissal. England started well but lost a wicket again to Ashwin before lunch. They still trail by 101 runs which eventually they will get, but the main question is how much lead is effective for England to either win or draw this test.
England winning? Lol. Not happening. The best that they can hope for is drawing this test which is still very difficult since they will probably end up giving a lead of around 100-150 which India should comfortably chase.

Also if you want to join other promotion done by bitcasino then we can always look on their promotion tab https://bitcasino.io/promotions to see if there's new there that can catch our interest. Also been following them for a while on twitter to see those new things they offer to their potential gamblers.
I don't really care much about most of their promotions except for their generous loyalty program which has helped me minimise my losses to a large extent which keeps me coming back for more.

It's quite similar to Sportsbet's loyalty program which I feel is even better in comparison honestly speaking.

West Indies vs Australia match is far more entertaining than the India vs England match currently thanks to Roach and Joseph making a mockery of the Australian batting line-up unexpectedly.

India will probably end up giving a lead of around 200+ runs while Windies might actually win this test and screw my bet on Australia.
275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2024, 12:35:31 PM
In view of what was revealed, it is probably true that they are experiencing a downturn, so they have made a policy of reducing their advertising activities to create a balance, and it is a logical decision that rather than stopping their advertising outright, reducing the payment is a wise decision and they can still continue their advertising without interruption.
Yeah. It's a logically sound decision indeed considering the global economy which is slowly and steadily recovering currently and the fact that they can't keep paying decent amounts forever without making a few cuts here and there.

This is similar to layoffs and paycuts in companies around the world if you think about it.
276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2024, 06:12:21 AM
oh really? I thought it was only one really long campaign going on for already more than 150 weeks
so you are saying that before the current one there was other 2 times or that the current one stopped for a while and got back in a different way?

just curious about it here...
Agreed. I have no idea what @JeromeTash is talking about. Roobet launched its signature campaign way back in March 2020 which has been running continuously since then and shows no signs of slowing down.

The only changes that I observed are a drop in participants and some changes to the payrates.
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 24, 2024, 01:20:07 PM
Honestly, I don't really give a damn about BTC reaching a new ATH because its current pricepoint is already optimal at the moment and I hope it stays or goes above this range in the future instead of sliding downwards.

Another thing that I give a damn about are BTC fees which aren't going back to normal thanks to crappy ordinals.

Having said that, he's yet to bat in tough conditions. His fair amount of runs and majority of tons came against Pakistan when they toured there for 3 tests and we know how Rambo &ucked up in those historical series (Eng, Aus, NZ) by introducing flat decks. Also, Brook hasn't done any wonders in India be it IPL/ODI so the jury is still out if he's comfortable facing the likes of Jaddu-Ash-Axar-Kuldeep on spin tracks. It could've been an exciting contest for him as every visiting batter has to go through "Trial by spin" when they visit India.
True. He performed like crap in India so far, but that could have changed thanks to his recent surge in form. He is one of the few consistently good batsmen in the depressing England team these days.

Rajat Patidar has been named replacement for Kohli, nothing comes close to Kohli for his formidable presence on ground but Patidar is good choice IMO. On Englad side, Dan Lawrence has been named replacement for Harry Brook, never heard of Lawrence and not a fan of Brook from what little I've seen of him in IPL and in ODIWC.
Both are boring replacements. These are great opportunities for them though which they should try and use wisely.

I just doubted that some users did not use any special software to solve blurry image Smiley I just cant believe people could guess it so quickly. Maybe people are really that good at guessing, and I am that bad in it.
It's definitely not easy guessing those games unless you play on Roobet/3rd party provider games frequently if you ask me.

Trust me, it's much easier than the challenges "Guess the slot" from Roobet, run here 2-3 years ago. And still many, including myself, had managed to win hundreds of USD in those challenges.
It makes sense as to why it's easy for you since you are an expert crypto gamblers with a lot of experience playing different casino games, but I found these new contests quite difficult due to my lack of experience in comparison.
280  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview] Comprehensive list of Crypto Sportsbooks -New Poll- on: January 23, 2024, 06:24:00 AM
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll get to work over the weekend. I have a plan in mind, involving the patrons of 1 sportsbook(each week) on bitcointalk to write their pros and cons of using the sportsbook, in this thread. So I can get some honest reviews of people who consistently use the sportsbook. Or, Write the review first, and then ask the partons, if the review is accurate and what pros and cons am I missing, that is crucial for everyone to know.
This is a good plan. Honest, unbiased reviews are tough to find these days which is why this strategy of yours could be effective as long as there are plenty of such reviews in this particular thread.

Also, don't worry about making enemies because this is Bitcointalk where free speech is literally everything.
