India are rock solid on there home ground and its evident from current test match stats. England were bowled out for just 246 and Ben Stokes was the highest run scorer with 70 runs. India on day 2 stumps are 421/7 and they lead by 175 runs. There is unbeaten 63 runs partnership between Jadeja and Axer Patel. Indians are in position to take lead to 250, even with 200 runs lead India will be in commanding position for rest of the match.

India played a brilliant innings in the match against England in which they showed excellence especially in both bowling and batting.  India set a huge target in front of England by scoring 421 runs in this innings.

 The Indian team bowled out the entire England team for 246 runs with a smart bowling performance.  In this match India gave a solid and dominant performance, improving their position in the inning.

In first two days we have completely control of India in this match today nothing positive for the English bowlers and their young spinners suffer badly just Jack Leach have something good, but this was not enough with Joe Root also done good job as he uses his experience and take few important wickets 200+ is enough for the India to have big won in this first match of the series with most chances we will have this match ended in three days because situation is completely under control for the Indian team and England batsmen can't do anything against these spin bowlers.

Now just Jadu's century is important thing otherwise India can declare their inning at any time this 63 runs partnership is going to be vital for them with still we can expect 50+ runs from them as both are playing impressive batting.

The current Indian lineup was expected to bat deep and they have proven that in style. Jadeja and Axar are helping India push past the 200+ runs lead which could have probably reached 250+ runs if Ashwin hadn't gotten run out.

True, England are lucky that Anna got run out otherwise things could have been more depressing for them as he's a proper batter on turners. 
200 lead looks like an almost done deal and at the same time Jaddu should be a little selfish as well, he has a good chance of scoring 100 here and should not throw this opportunity as Test 100s never come easy. He has a bad habit of throwing his wicket the next day whenever he sees off a day brilliantly.

I hope he will score his ton tomorrow, after looking at England bowling attack they look helpless, and I can't tolerate watching 5 game series if these are their front line bowlers from a country where cricket is originated. Finally, a part timer Joe root is the best of their spin bowling attack. I hope this match won't last beyond 3rd day because the result is so obvious but what England can do better if they want to fight back?
As of now, this series looks 5-0 to me.

If Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali were in the squad then probably we would not have seen such bad bowling by England and India would not have been able to take such a big lead. However, the match would have been very competitive had it not been a spin-friendly pitch.

They will play 5 matches in this series. And with such an inexperienced squad, it is much more difficult to defeat a strong team like India on Indian soil. England's batting order is not weak. But they failed to play well in the first innings. If the pitch in the upcoming matches is not spin friendly then I think we will see a good innings from England. And the matches will also become more competitive.

Australia vs West Indies
West Indies bowlers continue to bowl brilliantly today in the second Test match between Australia and West Indies. In the first innings of this test match West Indies batted first and collected 311 runs which was a very good score for them.

Australia came out to bat in their first innings today and lost their seven valuable wickets for just 182 runs. Usman Khawaja is still batting for Australia and is unbeaten on 48 runs. Alzarri Joseph of the West Indies team has shown great all-round skills in this test match. Alzarri Joseph scored 32 runs off 22 balls while batting and while bowling he took three wickets today but another three wickets were taken by his teammate Kemar Roach.

Can we then assume that the West Indies team is going to win this Test match against Australia and the series is going to draw 1-1.

In the first innings, West Indies managed to add 45 runs on the second day. The way West Indies came back from 5 wickets down in the first innings is truly commendable. Australia started to bat in their first innings and lost one wicket after another, losing 5 wickets to score 54 runs. Khawaja kept one end and he scored 73 runs. Also Alex Carey collect on 65 runs, Cummins unbeaten collect 64 runs. Australia declared their innings trailing by 22 runs after the team score reached 289-9. Last hour, West Indies lost a wickets collect  thirteen runs in the second innings. It's only been two days of the game, I think the game is at fifty-fifty positions. When tomorrow's game is over, it's pretty predictable who will win.

Agreed. Jadeja is playing so well after quite sometime which is why it would be great to see him score a century especially after seeing Jaiswal and Rahul get pretty close to the mark earlier on.

Also, Rahul is flying high these days thanks to his consistently great performances in all formats. What a player!

Well.. it was expected. Indians are almost invincible while playing at home. Only team that can challenge them in India is Australia. But even they struggled last time when they visited India. And this time England was without experienced bowlers. Only Mark Wood was there as the pacer, and he looked exhausted. Spin was handled by Jack Leach and the inexperienced duo of Tom Hartley/Rehan Ahmed, with Joe Root chipping in. But none of them were able to trouble the Indian batsmen. India looks set for a 500 plus total.

That was really an excellent performance by Indian team. The main thing which I was noticing that no one Indian player go above 100 runs means no one made century and the wholw score went above 400+ runs. Means this is showing that every player is playing hos role. The score is not depending on one player. Mostly we see that one player played well in the team and pull the score to high but here case is different three players made 80+ runs. Overall India played really well. Still they have three wickets remaining.

I think India will play till lunch today. They will try to add more 80-100 runs and will declare their innings.Moreover they will also need to make the England team all out before tomorrow in order to win the match. It will be really exciting to watch the match according to me. If Jadeja plays well like this then definitely he will make his century complete. He just needs a good partnership now. Today’s innings will be really fun.

Getting run out in a Test match is really sad especially if Ravichandran Ashwin had not been unfortunately run out in yesterday's match then Jadeja+Ashwin pair would have added several more runs to the Indian score. But now Jadeja and Axar Patel have a partnership of 63 runs which has helped the Indian team to score 400 plus runs and give a lead of 175 runs. But if Jadeja and Axar Patel can remain unbeaten in the first session on the third day today, I think they will be able to give a lead of 250 runs very easily.

With England's first innings runs and India's brilliant start in contrast, it has been a tough challenge for England's bowlers to keep them within a few runs in the first innings. Since India have lost just one wicket so far and have set batsmen on the wicket, it is expected that India's first innings total will cross 350 plus. If India can score 350 plus runs in their first innings then India will be 100 runs ahead of England at the end of the first innings and in the next innings England will have to score twice as many runs as the first innings but in the first test match against India England will have to target 200 plus runs. The equation I talked about is a difficult one for England because they have to bowl well along with batting well. The plus point for India is if they can finish with a 100 run lead then the second innings and this match will be much easier for them.

India's batting is better than England in this test match. England scored only 246 runs in the first innings as India fell under the spin attack.On the other hand, when India came out to bat first, their captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for just 24 but from there Jaswal has been batting patiently till now he is unbeaten on 76 runs.At such a stage, India has collected a total of 119 runs, in return for one wicket, India still needs to collect 127 runs.

At the end of the second day's play, India trailed England by 175 runs. The two batsmen who are unbeaten on the wicket now both have good batting skills and it will not be a surprise if these two batsmen score centuries. India are leading by 175 runs so far and it is being said that this wicket pair may add another 100 runs. If this wicket pair can score another 150 to 200 runs, then India will have a chance of winning this match by an innings. Since they still have three wickets in hand, I think that India will be able to collect several more runs. Day by day this Test match is getting tougher for England. Perhaps the equation of this match will be more difficult for England on the third day.

India's performance is very good and they are collecting runs in the first innings which England can do in two innings.  While England lost all their wickets by 246 runs, India scored 421 runs but they still have three wickets left to play. so it is assumed that India will cross 500 runs in the first innings itself. so India is very likely to beat England by a huge margin in this Test match. India plays very well, it is their regular activity but in today's match they are collecting more runs than expected. this will give India a super win

If India can get off to a good start on the third day and play till the middle of the third day then India will be ahead by enough runs. And with this substantial run lead, India will have a great chance to chase down England. As per the aggressive counter bowling by the Indian bowlers in the first innings, it can be assumed that the second innings is going to be more difficult for the England batsmen. It is normal for a team to bat as smoothly as they can in the first innings but not at all in the second innings because the behavior of the wicket is different and it becomes very difficult for the batsmen to bat on that wicket. It must be difficult for the England batsmen to deal with the counter attack that India's first bowlers have. 
Let's see if India can beat England by innings.

In the first test, he got out for 6 and 0. And in the second test he made 21 and 4. He has made a total of 31 runs from 4 innings. Two decades ago, Ramnaresh Sarwan had a similar disastrous tour of Australia. Tagenarine's struggles remind me of that era. Anyway, West Indies has performed better than what was expected from them so far in the second test.

I am not following the test series as the result for the second test would be similar to the first. After you pointed out that West Indies has played better in this test, I check the scoreboard and saw them having a lead of 120 rus. The first innings was better than the the first test, first innings. Anyways the outcome would be same as Australia will be able to win the second test comfortably.

Actually England did better than what I expected, the bazball theory is working for them now but how long they can bat is matters the most when it comes to test matches but with this approach they bat shorter, so they need to have bowlers who can take 20 wickets which isn't that case with current England bowling unity so no matter even if they can get lead from this stage, the loss is obvious to them.

India went to the defensive more since the day starts and can't able to make strokes at all apart from that two cover drives from Axar which was so pleasing to watch. But finally England bowlers stoke at the end.

Even though England keep their scoreboard ticking, now the Bumrah is showing his skill level and what he can do in a day 3 dead pitch, dismissal Duckett came after the firey spell because they missed taking DRS for LBW shout but in his very next over dismissed him and then the most important Joe Root as well.

150 target or even 250 is still a cakewalk for India because of their below average spin attack.
