261  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: November 06, 2017, 04:04:40 AM
People stored bitcoins in their wallet for a long time because they want the price go high and when its go high they can convert it to their own currency and withdraw them afterwards. Saving bitcoins is like investing , the more you save the more profit you will have in the future , because of the value of bitcoin that is not stable , sometimes the price go low , and eventually go high.
But saving is not risky than investing it. It is very safe when you simply hold it or save it in your wallet, unlike when you invest it, it is too risky and there is a high chance of losing your money. Anyway, holding bitcoin will definitely give you huge profit when you reached your target price. However, few people were holding it for a long time. Most of the time, they just hold it in a short period of time. It maybe  because  they need money or they're just impatient and can't wait for another years.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: November 04, 2017, 08:35:47 AM
The best decision and the best thing to do if given 1btc as a gift is to sell some and put the rest into trading and investment.
I'll sell some, I think about 40%, and then pump the rest into trading and investment to earn more bitcoins
But in the real sense of it, no one  is practically ready to give out 1btc with the current price of bitcoin.
I'm gonna do the same thing.  But I don't really think that there's someone who's willing to give 1btc as a gift. Everyone knows how expensive and how hard it is to have at least 1btc.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: November 03, 2017, 02:00:00 PM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

One of the major characteristics of a good investor is being able to identify a business opportunity and the second to me is to be able to take a risk. Somebody that has these two characteristics is good to go in business ventures and would do well.

You have a point. Well, as for me a good investor will always have clear goal. Also, a good investor  possesses knowledge and keep an eye on current scenario in the market. And the most important thing is that they know how to wait. A good investor has faith in their plans. So they basically  stick to their plans and that is why most investors became wealthy because they have patience.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 03:01:02 AM
my biggest fears as a bitcoin holder is if the price if every bitcoin falls down..and maybe the phillipines will ban the bitcoin because for me it's a great help to the future of a family. so it's frightening to think but the scary I will confuse In a scam there is still a lot of bad guys.thats why if i have a bitcoin i hold and cash out and use the money

Well, I do have a fear also of banning bitcoin in the Philippines. If in case it will happen (i hope it won't) then a lot of Filipinos will find it hard to accept the situation since bitcoin is part of our daily lives. Most of bitcoin users only rely their income through bitcoin even if they have stable job.

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is altcoin airdrop ? on: November 01, 2017, 08:50:04 AM
Airdrop is literally what the word means: coins dropping from up above Tongue

Some projects decide to give out coins to users to spread awareness and promote their projects. When you get a coin you'll likely look into it and maybe end up buying more.

Maybe end up buying more. Maybe some people do that but for me, i got airdrop and if there is a market then i will sell it all without no left.
I think better do that than buying more.

But of course before selling it all in the market, you have yk make sure that the price is right. Maybe you'll regret in the future because you sell it in a low price. You have to apply patience. Holding it for long will give you big amount of profit. It doesn't mean it's in the market, you'll sell it right away. Wait for the right time.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you hold your coins? on: November 01, 2017, 04:06:54 AM
I hold my coins in MyEtherWallet and in Blockchain.

I also hold my wallet in MyEtherWallet. I think it's one of the safest wallet online. But for me, the most convenient wallet to use is the coins.ph.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why I hate BITCOIN on: October 31, 2017, 04:27:39 AM
There's such no reason that i have to hate bitcoin. If i love altcoin that doesn't mean that i have to hate bitcoin.Rember bitcoin is the no.1 crypto currency
Exactly! For me, why would I hate bitcoin. Bitcoin is the main reason why I'm no longer facing financial problem. And at the same time,  I'm also earning in altcoin. Those two cryptos were the one who supports my financial needs and I would never hate them.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has Arrived in Thailand..... on: October 27, 2017, 02:59:11 PM
Bitcoin is welcome in Thailand...

Thailand has had Bitcoin in place for some time and I see the government is preparing for the future and how to en brass Bitcoin. It is not unusual to see a " We accept Bitcoin " In all type of stores.

This is really great for Thai People and the Tourists that visit......

That's good to hear that Thai government are now accepting btc. It just shows that Asian countries are catching up with cryptocurrency. This will open lots of opportunities not just for Thai citizens but to all of us as well because we know the outcome of this, and that is higher value of btc. I hope more asian countries will join with the exception of China of course. Grin
It is very much good news for the investors because the acceptance by the Thailand government will attract more investors for investing that capital in bit coin and definitely the price of bit coin will be increases.
It is indeed a good news. I just hope there will be a lot of country who will start accepting bitcoin. Also, it would be very convenient for us if we see a lot of stores starting to accept bitcoin as mode of payment.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: October 27, 2017, 06:37:06 AM
your eagerness to win back your losses would be the way for you to lose more..coz gambling wasnt just a game that needs skills to be on top,it needed more luck for you to win,so my advice for you,if u cant easily accept defeat.better not to be in gamble,or else you will get addicted .just saying
It's a way to lose more money if we will gamble and want to chase back our losses. A very popular mistake for all of us as we want to gamble and recover our losses. What you said is true, if you don't want to lose or you are not ready to lose then you shouldn't be gambling in the first place. You can look for some other place where you can pursue your goals or change your plan.
Indeed! Some people gamble because they wanted to earn instant profit. They are hoping that they will win when they gamble. But the reality is, you can't always win and instead of winning, you just keep on losing because you wanted to get back all the money you've lose.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: October 26, 2017, 09:30:35 AM
If I should win a huge amount, I would use it to complete my Education & also upgrade my skills since these are areas I'm poor at. Gambling doesn't make you rich until you hit a Jackpot Cheesy

I have once have experience on it..And then I got the price to have win,I'm treat with my family going to buy our lunch and have some drinks..We enjoying an at the moment to got the money..but I actually keep some a little bit to invest.

Yeah, better treat your family if you win. But it should be better if you invest your winnings so it won't be wasted. It's really a wise decision if you invest it rather than by spending it with a useless stuffs.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin again down? on: October 25, 2017, 02:13:20 PM
I already bought some and I'm still waiting for another drop to buy some more. Smiley
Wish I had enough funds so I can buy bitcoin. Now is the time to buy bitcoins. Maybe it will drop until next week. But I'm pretty sure it will recover its price by next month so there's nothing to worry about.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: October 25, 2017, 11:47:59 AM
I gamble to have fun and add a little flavour to my friday night games and to get more excited watching them . So no i wouldn't stop gambling because my main interest isn't money .
which probably isn't the same case from other gamblers as winnings is another spice of having much exciting play, so if money is no longer a basis of
excitement i guess it wont be the same anymore the fun and enjoyment would be like just playing in a practice game which we don't really enjoy much.
I totally agree with you. Let's be honest here. Almost all of the gamblers gamble because they wanted to earn big amount of money, and if money is no longer a problem, the excitement and the intense when you gamble is not the same when you gamble because you wanted to eaen money. So if I were to ask, I will not gamble again if I no longer have problem in money.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: October 25, 2017, 08:25:21 AM
Another dominant performance by the Clippers now, they beat the Jazz with a double digit win and this could be their revenge.
I thought they are better now without paul on the line up as Beverly not just a shooter but really good in defending, the points he contributed is really big.
Let's see if he will become consistent on that matter until playoffs.

As for GSW, is it only me or i'm too confident that didn't expect to have such stats which is 2-2 as of now. I thought they will show off a better stats this season especially in the beggining of the season.
The warriors will rise to the top, they may have a bad start but they will find their way to keep winning, they have the heart of a champion so they cannot be underestimated. They dominated the Mavericks in their last game and I think the momentum will continue and they will keep winning. There next game is against the Raptors, I guess this is a good game to watch, they are playing at home so I hope they'll have their first win that time.
The warriors will still win in this season. I have a huge trust to Curry and his team. And I'm pretty sure they'll going to show off their moves in the finals.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 25, 2017, 06:33:05 AM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?

Of course they do as long as it talks about money and how it affects the prices of other goods including paper money. It should be talked about in economics classes because it affects technopreneurship, a side of entrepreneurship which relates to the digital trading of goods and services.

Yeah, bitcoin can be discuss in economics since it is related to that subject. And of course, economics is about the happenings of our country, almost all the people only knew that there is only one currency. And now, students should know about the digital currency and what it might bring good to the economy.

278  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 24, 2017, 01:41:48 PM
I have no problem with it. If in our country we can legaly work for bitcoin, receive and spend bitcoins and other cryptocurrency then I will be agree to pay taxes for it. Everyone will win, economical growth, more people can get new jobs, more freedome. As for hard regulation i dont think they could do it really. And it is why blockchain is great technology, some of them can be public and some of them is private. I think it is win-win situation for people and for government
If the government will put a tax in bitcoin, then it will lose its factor of being a decentralized cryptocurrency because government will now control the game. On the other hand, if we will pay taxes in bitcoin, we can't really sure if there will be economic growth in our country since there are a lot of corrupt officials in the government. That is why I don't really like the idea of putting tax on bitcoin.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: October 24, 2017, 12:57:19 PM
Bankers hate to loose control. And luckily they do not control the btc.
At the moment, they are watching btc getting more and more popular, even if we can't talk about massive adoption yet.
Banks are making part of their money with transactions. Everytime someone transfer a btc, they don't get a single cent!

Many banks worried they are making any transaction fees on Bitcoin transactions, even though countries not adopting Bitcoin but the price of Bitcoin is not reducing and making fortunes with the price that's why banks are nervous about Bitcoin.

I think the banks are afraid of competition and they are likely going to be overthrown by the more futuristic Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and so they will sabotage it at the very least chance.

They are not only afriad they also think if bitcoin expose or all country was legalize this altcoins we know that bitcoin it is just like a bank or we called also intangible bank and continuously increasing the currency so that many of us want to invest in bitcoin and not in bank why? Because we know if you invest in bank many several years before you earn but in bitcoin daily, weekly, monthly you can earn so that many bank dis agree in the legalization of bitcoin.
Yeah! You're totally right! When you invest in banks, you only get small amount of profit for how many years. The only one who benefits your money is the bank. In bitcoin, you can have huge amount of profit within a year. The banks are now afraid of losing half of their clients because of bitcoin.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: October 24, 2017, 12:30:31 PM
There are three ways to destroy bitcoin. Its my personal thinking only
1. A world war or nuclear war will  probably destroy bitcoin because a lot of people will be withdraw from crypto currency.
2. Internet Problem, If there are no internet bitcoin can not be used.
3. End of the electricity.
in my personal opinion that can destroy bitcoin. If that dose not happen then bitcoin will still exist and still used by the world community.

You have a point. But that is really impossible to happen. Just like in bitcoin, it is really impossible for it to destroy. No one can destroy  bitcoin even the government.
