I am wondering to myself will I succeed in bitcoin world!

if you feel bad about yourself that you will succeed later on bitcoin?? Roll Eyes
It depends if you will put time, effort and also your whole self for earning bitcoins and wanting to get rich and intelligent on cryptocurrency then you maybe will succeed on the cryptocurrency world. It will not also take a short time on being successful you need also have a lot of patience on this field, and be emotionally strong enough for different price downtrend.

India’s Government Agencies Still Have ‘Concerns’ About Bitcoin

Indian officials revealed last week that the country’s tax agency and investigation task force have concerns about money laundering and black market activities associated with bitcoin. India’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) is in the midst of drafting a report detailing problematic issues regarding the decentralized cryptocurrency.

What do you think?
They should regulate bitcoin exchanges and monitor each transactions, money laundering will be a big problem and may happen if they will not regulate exchanges. If this possible ban will push through bitcoin will stay continue but the support from the community will surely decrease.
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice ride but i'm dumping on: September 23, 2017, 02:25:35 PM
I believe Bitcoin is in Bubble, a bubble that might explode very soon. I already sold my BTC to $USDT, but I will never shift to BCH no matter will happen. This is just a manipulation of associated whales to discredit Bitcoin (BTC) in the hardfork, so everyone would drop BTC, so whales could buy them all at the very low price.

Well I've ridden many waves with BTC (yes check my bitcointalk account joining date) but have recently sold down (not completely out).

Here's my reasoning.
1. The Roger Ver vs Core discussions - I think he's right and would rather move to BCH than stay in BTC (this was nice watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3R8ckM-TDHI). I get some of Cores arguments but it took way too long for me to move coins recently (and I paid a 'high priority' fee)... and that's just a crap user experience that i wouldn't get with other coins. I've been in application development for approx 20 years and have seen many discussions between tech geeks and business users... this just seems like another variant. Personality wise the core team seem very geeky (just look at the photos) and I'm guessing they all share very similar personality traits so they fail to see or identify with a diverse range of opinions (disclaimer - i don't know them personally so i may be wrong) .

2. The uncertainty in November with another fork. I'm guessing it won't go smoothly but difficult to know what will happen.

3. The china issues... there's enough threads on it but difficult to tell which way it will go in the long run.

4. I wanted some money, always comes in handy

5. My gut feel - Since inception BTC has always followed a trend of a really high jump in price, followed by a few dead cats bouncing, followed by carnage... which i believe is still to come in the next month or so.

If BTC drops to less that 2K, i might buy back in... but I'll probably only buy BCH or see what other BTC fork comes out of November.

good/bad decision?

Goodluck,
The Fajman

Lol an actual hypocrite who says that bitcoin is a bubble and yet joined a sig campaign for bitcoin as a payment. Lol
It could explote but it will regain it's price again.
Price correction etc.
It is not a bubble like tulip mania, take note of that.

I get what you're saying and there is nothing wrong with getting out if it's best for you, but I'm going to stick it out for the long haul. I think Bitcoin still has a lot of potential to make big gains in the future and I'm willing to make a long term investment. The road could be bumpy at times but overall the price of Bitcoin has made huge gains over the last year. I just think we are still at the early stages of Bitcoin's development as a mainstream currency and investment.

EXACTLY!. Bitcoin is not yet on it's "stable" stage it's still on it's infant stage, yet some people is luring out people to jump out to bitcoin and jump in into the split coins of bitcoin for their OWN BENEFIT. Lol. They should know Who got the support better, it is bitcoin or bitcoin cash, As For me, i will still stick out and still believe on what bitcoin can offer for the future change and development.

269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 22, 2017, 01:43:23 AM
China has become the powerhouse for Bitcoin (and the whole cryptocurrency in general) as it is hosting many Bitcoin miners due to cheaper electricity and maybe also cheap labors. China also boasts of probably millions of Bitcoin owners and traders who are influencing the moves of the market on day to-day basis. As far as acceptance of Bitcoin in China, it is comfortably good until such time when the government decided that it is time to intervene.

In general, the Chinese government is not comfortable with Bitcoin as it indeed representing a different currency that they can not control with. since Bitcoin is decentralized it would be hard for the government to make interventions and so they are thinking that maybe it is time to ban it altogether. The government can not kill Bitcoin but what they are doing is actually closing the country as a market for Bitcoin.

So the question is: Can Bitcoin survive without China? In case, it can't then then there is something wrong with it since it is not resilient to ride the big storm it is in.
Yes, I mean look at it do you think China is the only one that supports the bitcoin system? Once China is out on Bitcoin community and Bitcoin System, This will open more opportunities for some miners to create their own rig and start earning. THEY.CANNOT.KILL.BITCOIN. as long as there are community support that will continue to support the Bitcoin System, Bitcoin will still continue with the bully Chinese government.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes thinks Swarm.Fund can bring crypto into the mainstream on: September 22, 2017, 01:37:42 AM
Maybe because Forbes also invested to that Swarm Fund, as much as i can remember they are the one also released the topic that says that bitcoin could be a bubble and why you should not invest on bitcoin and why you should not own one, this is extremely suspicious.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 22, 2017, 01:27:49 AM
Of course, Indeed it will lead to corruption, Greediness can also lead to corruption. Bitcoin has a value, it is a money, a currency. corruption can also happen between each bitcoin enthusiasts and Bitcoin developer or into bitcoin system, We really don't know. But the thing here is that you should know that bitcoin is a currency and any currency has an issue on corruption WHICH MEANS, Bitcoin can surely lead to corruption.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: GoodNews: Japan is finally given licence to bitcoin exchanges on: September 19, 2017, 12:45:01 AM
"Every disappointment is a blessing" - Unknown

Japan has finally joined the crypto-currency race by giving licence to crypto-currency exchanges but with regulations to avoid experiencing another market collapsed by the market e.g. Mt.Gox

Coincheck’s application approved for Japan’s new bitcoin exchange registration
https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2017/09/13/coinchecks-application-approved-japans-new-bitcoin-exchange-registration/amp/
Great News indeed, unlike China who is known for bullying other technologies that threatens their Monetary Rules. Legalization will really help to make bitcoin stay and mature as the time goes by there will be more solid support from the bitcoin enthusiast and the market will be widen and be opened to more investors and more opportunities in cryptocurrency field.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 08, 2017, 01:33:13 AM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
I will choose the latter, it's a gift that's why i should keep it and make sure that the price will be the highest before converting it into cash, and i think it's really impossible to received such a big amount, well nothing is impossible though it may happen to me , i just hope it will happen soon.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: September 08, 2017, 12:58:04 AM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!
My dream is to have atlease 1,000 Bitcoins some of it will be used as a collection, some will be used as a financial aid to my bad financial status  and some of it will be given to my sons as a treasure that they can use if they want money, but most of all i want to have a worldwide treasure hunting where they need to dig and find the paper bitcoins and if they do find it then the bitcoin is theirs now.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Speculating A Bad Thing? on: September 08, 2017, 12:47:35 AM
Speculation is opinion of individual person and such can be taken how you think is good for you. If you think that this or that speculation can be good for your investment and buy/sell opportunity you will use it or you wont. This is how thing are working you will accept that or you wont accept it. This is mostly what you want to hear not what it will be.
speculation is everyone's choice. the result of speculation simply can not be determined. the results can be profitable or can also be detrimental. nothing can ensure the speculation runs smoothly. so if we want to speculate then we must dare to take any risks. the risk of speculation is enormous, so with it all decisions we make can determine our future.

Speculation is not bad at all. Correct Speculation cannot just come with lot of knowledge or luck, it is rather a god gift ability to think of the future. I have a friend of mine whom i always ask where the bitcoin price will go from now on and every time he give me correct answers as he has so much good speculation skills.
Lol, It is luck based, speculation is not really related to knowledge maybe some of the specualtion is based on knowledge and researches but still it produces wrong results, speculation is not bad at all but using it without even using the 'gut-feel' and the knowledge and the skill that speculation needed is dangerous , specially if there is a big amount involved in that speculation process.
276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I told my brothers and cousins about signature campaigns. on: September 07, 2017, 08:01:37 AM
I also want to ask this, I'm planning to tell this to my brothers they are just students, and i  know some person does have his own exchange wallet which is we can cashout bitcoins, if i earn and send my bitcoin to that account would it be bad? would some moderators ban me because of suspicion of multiple accounts?

A Exchange wallet owner

B My account
C My brother's account
D My other brother's account

B, C, D and A do share the same internet since we are 'kapit bahay' or neighbours.
B,C and D would share the same computer and IP
B,C and D do have different wallet address but cannto cash out because we are students.
By sending it to A, we can cash out or bitcoins.

Would this be a bad set up? should i stop the plan of telling it to my brothers? and should i also stop sending bitcoin to A for cashing out bitcoins? Thank you Seniors.

Yes' it's a bad setup that will most likely get you negative trust from one of the trusted forum members.
First of all sharing an ip address is allowed on the forum, but if one of you gets banned you could all be, so if you want to share an IP make sure they follow the rules and don't fuck it up for all of you.

Sharing a wallet will be hard to explain and is a main reason people get their accounts linked, so i advise you to get your own wallets and your own exchange accounts. If you can't cash out for some reason just hold and you won't regret it in a couple years.

Thank you for this sir, I will really hold my bitcoins. I don't want to get ban from this forum, I want to learn more about bitcoin. And yes i will also discuss them about this things and advice from all of you, thank you.

this forum is not bad to share but the only problem i see if you use the same IP with the same bitcoin address is you will link to your brothers account if you really concern to teach him buy them a phone then they can use it to visit this forum and create thier own wallet and account.

Thanks for the advice, and as of checking coins.ph really allow students to cash out but it needs a permission from our parents in order for the verification process to be done and to activate the cash out function.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 07, 2017, 07:35:38 AM
LOL some of the posters are so hypocrite!. Who says money can't buy anything and that's not all you need but in reality we are doing anything to gain money, because money can give us food, buy things that we want, help people from poverty, build a foundation and many more. Yes it;s true that Love is different from Money but without money  you cannot sustain your life! Always be with reality people! don;t sugarcoat things, Don't be hypocrite.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does every mainstream media article on Bitcoin end in negativity? on: September 06, 2017, 01:11:41 AM
I don't know why mainstream media always do this kind of shitty articles to make bitcoin look like it's a waste of time , they always show that supporting bitcoin is also supporting terrorism, SMH. Well, in order for you to stop bitcoin on entering mainstream media and to casual people as a  good technology, why don't you introduce bitcoin first but as a bad technology. #SmartMedia #LOL  Cool
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 06, 2017, 12:58:49 AM
What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?

Tell me what you think about any of these.  Smiley
MONIES? it should be monies! Please do not shit post and construct your sentence well.

What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?
>Cryptocurrencies are safe on china, and they only ban ICO, with this news i think more chinese bitcoiners and chinese investors will be more focused on cryptocurrency specially bitcoin.

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?
>They did not yet announced something with this or they already did?, if we are basing on the news, i think no, they are talking about ICO only and not banning the existing coins.

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?
>It depends on their current system and current issues, some of the countries ban cryptocurrencies because it may cause to support terrorism and unobserved transaction that may impose as a threat to that government.
Can you tell me terorists who use cryptocurrency. I think you'd better proof that cyrptocurrencies are used by terorists. The most crypto is used to scam projects, HYIP and fake investments, drug dealling and other crimes include terorism. But you can't say crypto is for terorism. I don't like that crypto support terorism. I am not terorist, most members of bitcointalk are not terorists too. They are users of cryptocurrencies.
Please do check your sentences and your spelling, do not shitpost here and learn to use google, please do comprehend what i said don't be an idiot here.
It may cause to support terrorism ? YES, because bitcoin's reputation is not good since it was used as a form of payment on darkweb. Do your research, since bitcoin offers a security and anonymity that's why it can support terrorists.
