https://www.coindesk.com/south-korea-north-korea-stole-millions-crypto-exchanges-last-year/

262  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Are these billionaires controlling the BTC value? on: February 28, 2018, 06:53:51 AM

Billionaires of today might have a lot of bitcoins. Factor din talaga sila sa presyo nito sa kasalukuyan. Maaaring marami sa kanila ang nagmamayari ng maraming bilang ng bitcoin.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as national currency? on: February 27, 2018, 12:03:41 PM
Maybe not Bitcoin!

But I totally could imagine some countries creating their own blockchain and therefore issuing their own cryptocurrencie!

Presently, it is still far from reality. With the fall of bitcoin's price. It will be quite difficult for bitcoin to be a national currency. Well, if considering national currency, I guess other countries will just create their own instead of adapting bitcoin.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: February 27, 2018, 11:11:02 AM
most of us regret not buying sooner. no more regret if you buy now. it's not to late.

I regret that I didn't start early and I've been double minded about it. I should've bought bitcoin when its price is not yet too high. This could have helped me a lot and have done a lot for my finances.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: February 23, 2018, 12:43:26 PM
Probably not as there will be no more supply. It should increase If the demand remains the same. I wouldn't think much about it though, we would be all dead by then.
The limitation of maximum amount of bitcoin will automatically makes the demand  increase easily. May be bitcoin price could be more stable but it will still tend too rise. Nowaday too many traders who trade bitcoin everyday. It makes the volatility even higher, if more holder and bitcoin that exist rather than bitcoin trader then the price will be more stable.

Well, bitcoin price will not be stable. It will always fluctuate. It will go up in one moment and down the next time. We just have to bear with the changes and study its movement. We will be able to bear with it as soon as we cope up with the trend.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: February 23, 2018, 11:29:35 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that

You're crazy!
And furthermore I'm sure you're just trolling.
However if you really think about doing so, well what can I say. It's your money, your existence.
Investing in Bitcoin is fine, as long as you use money you can afford to lose.
Otherwise you're just a crazy gambler.

This sounds unwise. We must invest only what we can afford to lose. We can never exactly tell how the market will go so with the bitcoin price. Just be wise in putting our investments. We better diversify our assets.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin worth it or not? on: February 23, 2018, 10:44:29 AM
Asking the question like that here is like asking a drunk if drink can harm you.

See Russia Today RT.COM and you can see what the general public thinks and
no I would study up on other coins because fees are killing this one.

p.s I am not desperate to find a bigger fool than me to sell too

Ok..thats sounds not like a good comparing but ok. witch coin can u suggest than?

and are that not profit anymore to mine btc?

I think so. Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency in the past months. Although this time bitcoin is actually going down, I think that bitcoin is still worth it. It will eventually improve and be on top once again.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret? on: February 23, 2018, 02:45:39 AM
No, I don't regret not hearing about it back then--can't help it, and I didn't have much cash anyway.  What I kinda sorta regret is that I sold all the bitcoin I bought in 2015 at $200-400, and that I no longer have a coinbase account,  and that Circle doesn't sell bitcoin anymore.   Those are my biggest bitcoin regrets, but I can live with 'em.

Knowing about bitcoin really helped me a lot. This gives me so much knowledge about investment and also opened up my mind to other good investment and cryptocurrencies. There is really no regret knowing bitcoin.
269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin destroyed? on: February 22, 2018, 11:55:13 PM
Is it possible to destroy bitcoin?

No.

What are the factors that can destroy it?

Destroying Bitcoin is impossible -- both physically and figuratively.

People could stop using it, and the blockchain would grind to a halt if all miners shut down. But Bitcoin wouldn't be "destroyed." At any time, miners could just pick up where they left off and the blockchain would continue.

There is a chance that bitcoin could be destroyed if governments make a move to ban it.

Governments can discourage people from using Bitcoin. That's all.

I strongly believe that bitcoin cannot be easily destroyed. It is a established cryptocurrency like the others. It also undergo trending and it just so happen that at this time, bitcoin is in its downtrend but it doesn't mean that it will remain as ease.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now or later? on: February 22, 2018, 09:31:03 PM

Yes it will,BTC is almost a sure bet and somehow it keeps surviving the market falls, currently BTC is experiencing real tough times, but its the best time to buy, advice them to hold too for as ling as possible, however they shouldn't fully commit to one. whatever they have to invest, its advisable to slit in bits and invest in other cryptocurrencies with potential.

Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin price is low so we can buy bitcoin at this rate. Bitcoin will surely go up as well so better buy bitcoin for now. After buying just hold and then sell when bitcoin prices are high.
271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 22, 2018, 02:48:35 PM
think this can be a very exciting activity, especially when the price of bitcoin is volatile. Then you try to feel like this roller coaster, go to heaven and go to hell, in a thought.

Yes, looking at bitcoin every now and then can drive us crazy. Bitcoin's nature and market cap is fluctuating. Its price keep going up and down. This is why we shouldn't watch bitcoin's fluctuation. We might have an instant heart attack because of its results.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin falling? on: February 22, 2018, 01:36:55 PM
When any negative news about bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency, comes out, people bail. It's just like stocks. The latest, imo, is China blocking access to the markets with its huge Great Firewall of China.

Bitcoin is not necessarily falling. It is just that bitcoin is in its downtrend this time. But this doesn't necessarily meam that it is the end of bitcoin. We just have to be patient until bitcoin take its way again towards the top.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: February 22, 2018, 09:13:25 AM
I do not think anyone can predict the decrease and increase of bitcoin. Because no one is able to control the bitcoin. Maybe if the price down can be marked with minus info about bitcoin. Like info about china yesterday prohibited ICO.

Bitcoin price is unstable so as the market price is. We can never predict when will its price go up and down. What can we actually is just watch out of its trend. When it goes downtrend, it will eventually go uptrend.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: February 22, 2018, 07:19:55 AM
Japan already is. It's good to see Japan's authorities being very open minded when it comes to allowing Bitcoin to grow and extend its reach. However, the negative aspect is that we're seeing a whole lot of growth being focused in one single country, which is something we have seen happen with China as well, but with Japan it's going even further. As long as they remain open and friendly, nothing of negative nature will happen, but if they at some point think it's enough (hopefully it never happens), it will be affecting and taking down the entire market with it. For that reason I hope that more countries will follow Japan's example, because that will help distributing Bitcoin's adoption in a far better way -- adoption shouldn't be so tightly focused in just one nation.

Bitcoin's creator is from Japan itself, so there's no doubt this will be the bitcoin capital of the world. Also, Japan is also a leading country when it comes to technology and industry. We can strongly consider Japan to be the home of bitcoin.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy Bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 10:56:51 AM
So... when to buy Bitcoin? Now.. as it's about to hit $13,000, or wait for a slump?

Buy bitcoin when it is in the downtrend. This time is the best example. Bitcoin value dropped so it means its price also is lower this time. It is good to invest in. ryptocurrencies but then invest only what you can handle to lose.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: February 21, 2018, 12:54:40 AM

There's no harm in such promotion. It would be good to see some counter-balance to all the negativity.

Btw, there's already a thread about this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=966906.0

At this time, it would be helpful if there will be a sovial promotion for bitcoin. Bitcoin is in its downtrend this time so help from social media to promote bitcoin will attract young minds to use and invest in bitcoin.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there such demand for Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2018, 11:37:49 PM
I'm pretty sure less bitcoins are being mined compared to the previous years, otherwise what's the point from the block halving. The demand is clearly coming from different types of people, investors, people who want a way out of the banking system, Darknet users, gamblers etc. and in these area, compared to fiat, bitcoin is much better.

Bitcoin has heen establishing its name over the past years. Cryptocurrencies are viewed as the future of money and of efficient online transactions. Having a bitcoin also is a good investment and a reliable source of income whenever bitcoin has its good standing.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: February 20, 2018, 03:47:01 PM
Investing in bitcoin is a risk, as the value can crash tomorrow.
I'm holding too so far, I believe in what bitcoin represents, so I'm taking the risk. Don't invest more than what you can afford to lose however, but if you can, you should buy more.
Also have a look in other cryptocurrencies.

Well, investing is always with a risk. Holdin bitcoin at this moment of time is of course a risk also. But I think that holding bitcoin this time is a wise decision. Bitcoin is in its downtrend. But surely, in a while it will go up again. As the market fluctuates, so as with bitcoin price.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at $20K ? on: February 09, 2018, 05:11:31 PM
As of now, bitcoin has already dropped a staggering price at 8,000$ and still continues to drop. Still I believe that it can still be able to get up at a good price since the year 2018 was a great year for the bitcoin to start. Bitcoin has been already widely advertised in different social media these past few days. Though the effect of it is not still seen,I still believe that soon enough bitcoin will get up soon. Let us just think of this drop as an oppprtunity for us to invest if we have the risk to do it. Though there is no 100% sureness, still we might be really able to earn from this low price if the bitcoin gets up again.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 10:09:25 PM
Not all the media are always saying bad things about bitcoin but thre are really some that always treat the bitcoin as bad as they can because of the idea that they have on it. Bitcoin was largely use in a drug selling site in a stie called silkroad that can be accessed only through deepweb and some kind of browser. And that idea about bitcoin is making them imagine and have an idea on it as an evil used cryptocurrency because of what the deepweb have shown. But they have really missed the good site about it and doesnt really want to know it. Bitcoin allows everyone to invest in it and also promotes decentralized authority in buying which is great for cheaper fees. Though bitcoin really have some flaws, still having an idea about it being a bad thing is really questinable.
