261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Official Thread on: January 27, 2018, 08:18:09 PM
Looking at the reports of your EXPERIMENT, I'd like to start the same too, like 1,726$  profit in just 7 weeks is really great.
The cryptocurrencies you've chosen definitely are really interesting. Most of them are solely made for long term investment. Tron, cardano, ox have a lot of potential and traders are making good out of these cryptocurrencies and so are we.
All the best.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: January 27, 2018, 08:09:54 PM
It should be kept in mind that during your daily job, have enough time for trading too, for researching on projects and icos, reading their white papers and put in some effort in doing so.
Investing by just hearing your best friend or from a pump and dump group might most of the time result in a loss.
Investing in the right coin will definitely give you lots of profit. And do these trading work during your break time and when you're free in between and after you get home. Utilize your time to the fullest!
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Password optimization to protecy your Bitcoin on: January 27, 2018, 07:59:54 PM
That is indeed a real threat to the holders who are new in the business they should be made realized about these problems and have a more secured wallets which should support maybe 2FA security.
I have my funds secured in a wallet supporting 2FA. It really makes me feel a bit more secured.
Random passwords should be more preferred and the sign message function of some wallets are a one time effort for better security.
264  Economy / Services / Re: GRAFT - Credit Card and Crypto Payment Processing Network | Signature & Avatar Campaign | [OPEN] on: January 27, 2018, 05:41:11 PM

265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it easy to predict the price of Bitcoin in a near future? on: January 26, 2018, 05:58:39 PM
It is nearly impossible to do so as there are factors which affect its price in way in which you or any other person do not have control on.
One such factor is that some huge deal made and big investor selling his large investment.
All you can do here is try your luck here and make more side money.
Good luck
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] How much of your money is in crypto? on: January 26, 2018, 05:47:05 PM
I don't have any of my own "regular job-earned" salary money invested in cryptos, all the money is from the campaigns i joined and freelance work. And that just makes me feel safe as i do not consider these as my own fiat local money, i just think of it as a prize which someone might steal from me.

267  Economy / Speculation / Re: my prediction is always wrong on: January 26, 2018, 05:39:48 PM
One of the reasons for the bitcoins price to drop is that a big investor sells all his or large amount of his investment resulting in a price drop. So you cannot find that person and even if you do you won't be able to persuade him not to sell his investments. There are many other reasons too for the drop. But this was just as an example.
So therefore, you cannot exactly predict what slope is going to come next when you're in the crytpo world.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace credit? on: January 26, 2018, 05:34:59 PM
There are a lot of things the government officials say. But this might not be completely false as considering only bitcoin, there are a lot of drawbacks currently with it including high transaction fee and late transactions too. But there are comparably many other new coins and cryptos which can, in a way be threat to the central banks. As long as there are holders supporting those cryptos.
Cryptos won't be a threat to the central banks if they somehow find a way to back off the cryptocurrencies big holders which will lead to fall of that particular crypto, in that case yes that statement is partially correct.
But crytpos to some extent are the threat to central banks.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Meditating for HODL strategy? on: January 25, 2018, 07:29:07 PM
If you're really restless and looking at a coins price go up (or obverse) makes you want to sell it immediately to get that extra money (or prevent further loss). MEDITATE. Calm yourself, try to relax.
Doing anything in a hurry always leads one to regret. I myself have been saved a couple of times by listening to devotional music (well close to meditation) when I was impatient to sell bitcoin during its mid-rising days.
270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do You Secure Your profits? on: January 25, 2018, 07:18:58 PM
Whenever i get profit, i have a list of promising icos, projects to invest and altcoins. I immediately invest my profits to the best thing on my list. And that is how i secure them.
There are times when i prefer holding if the coin has more potential.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: January 25, 2018, 07:04:33 PM
Bitcoin for me is like an asset to earn extra money, i never invested a penny of my own in it, all the money i have made until now through trading and crypto are from bitcoin. I am a freelancer and accept bitcoin as payments and most of my bitcoins are from signature campaigns and small tasks i did to earn them.
And after being awestruck looking at its growth in its value, I look it more as a property now which will be helpful for me in case of an emergency in the future!
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss in trading on: January 24, 2018, 08:18:31 AM
Imagine you invested in a coin when it's value was say 100$ and you decided to hold it for some time. Now that same coin experiences a fall and it's value decreases by say 50%. Now your investment which was 100$ after the price drop of the coin is also affected and becomes 50$. And some people get panicked by the thought that the coin they invested in might die, sell the coin when it's price drops. Leading them to loss.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Airdrop on: January 24, 2018, 06:07:44 AM
Imagine there's a new project launched related to cryptocurrency. Say that projects name is DREAM and its coin is DRM. So the developers of that coin to increase their community and get the support of the investors and people send free coins to them by airdrops. You just have to follow simple rules such as joining social media groups and fill the google airdrop form and wait for the team to send those tokens to the address that you filled in the form.
It is a marketing strategy chosen by mostly all the new launching projects.
274  Other / Archival / Re: Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2018, 05:59:50 AM
Ethereum has the capability to overcome bitcoin and be the no. 1 cryptocurrency. After all the successful projects it has running under it, and it's stable price too. As its price was not affected to a large extent when there was a drop in the market in the past days.
Ethereum is very stable compared to any other cryptocurrency, it offers a good transfer speed with reasonable fees, so it is a possibility that it surpasses bitcoin soon.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped, should you buy? on: January 24, 2018, 05:52:29 AM
It is the best time to invest when the price drops. And that's what I did. I had 500$ kept and was waiting for the price to drop. I have invested 300$ in 5 altcoins and the remaining in bitcoin and ethereum. And it is for sure that bitcoin will rise again. hard to say when but i'll hold it for long this time.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: January 24, 2018, 05:06:25 AM
Big coins such as ethereum and bitcoin are clearly not for the purpose of day trading so, many of the people whom you ask whether to hold or day trade give you their opinions regarding bitcoin and ethereum which are just for holding for a long term.
But there are a couple of other highly volatile coins which are surely risky but also perfect for day trading. As day trading is only possible when the coin is not stable, the risks automatically are high.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: January 24, 2018, 04:51:12 AM
Not only the bank of albania but there are couple of other banks too which have earlier warned about the cryptocurrencies and clearly stated that they do not encourage trading in them by any means. And they see cryptocurrencies as a threat to their economy. But we still are permitted to use or trade with them as doing so is not banned or illegal.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: January 23, 2018, 12:05:09 PM
If you are familiar with the market and have experience in trading and good knowledge of coins too. Then holding or trading, don't bother much. Because then you yourself can judge when would you want to sell a coin or trade it and how long should you hold. But still, trading somewhere is more profitable than holding unless the coin you're holding is really promising!
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 23, 2018, 11:57:48 AM
Ethereum if looked as an opportunity for a short term investment-profit kind of coin than ethereum is pretty bad for you, but it surely has a stable value which is a plus point for a long term investment. It has successfully so many other erc20 tokens running under it. Agreed to the fact that most of them are scams but on the contrary some highly successful coin run too!
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 21, 2018, 12:50:32 PM
As the airdrop token are totally free so they are always profitable but they do take a really long time to send your airdrop coins. And most of the coins don't ever come to exchanges and are good for nothing. But there are SOME tokens which hit the exchanges giving you profits!
